Senya
Senya was just about to go searching for the Water Tribe representatives when they returned to the group, bringing with them a delightfully suitable method for getting to their destination. The spirit had suggested that they would be the ones to deliver them onto their course, and Senya knew from experience that the Spirit world was not to be taken lightly. So the moment that Ryoko had offered her vessel for the group's mission, she gave her usual smile before clapping her hands together.
"Magnificent!" she'd declared before giving a small bow to her "Then I shall thank you for your patronage."
Of course, this exchange merely kept her attention off of Roos, who was not having a good time. Misinterpreting Fang's tackle for a full-scale assault, Roos immediately began scampering about attempting to evade him. Senya gave no indication of noticing his plight, even as he began flying in an attempt to escape. She merely followed behind Ryoko along with the others towards the ship, silently pondering things as she went. As they finally arrived at the ship, Senya looked it over with amused interest. Before she could comment on it, Roos saw his opportunity and quickly flew up into her robes for safety. Giving a small laugh at the way he scampered around her momentarily, she placed a hand over the lemur-sized lump now present under her clothes and scratched right where his head would be. Soon Roos seemed to relax somewhat and shift his position, almost to the point where his figure blended in perfectly amongst her clothes.
As they set off, Senya stood at the bow of the ship, keeping an eye on their direction at first before glancing back as the others adjusted. Upon hearing Yei voice her concerns over their captain's capabilities, Senya turned around fully and put a hand to her mouth to stifle a small laugh.
"I shall assume her sailing is unrivaled compared to one such as I." she said with a passive smile before glancing to Ryoko "But forgive me if my nerves keep me from relaxing too much."
As she said that, she stretched before placing a hand over her shoulder. Upon contact, a lump arose where she touched and soon Roos poked his head out of the collar of her clothing. She whispered to him under her breath, and in response he reached up and began poking at the side of her face. After a moment, Senya's eyes closed and she lowered her hands. Seeing this movement, Roos yawned before slipping back under her clothing once more.
It was at this point that Mai offered the group a sparring lesson, something which Senya tilted her head at before holding up a hand and giving an apologetic wave, "You must forgive me for declining at this moment, but I prefer knowing my partners before training in such a manner." she stated before glancing away "Knowing exactly who one raises their fists against is becoming more of a luxury as the days go by, after all."
Walking to the side of the ship, Senya sat against it before folding her legs under her and closing her eyes. Laying her hands gently upon her knees, she sat straight and gave a pleased little sigh before opening them again and running her gaze over the rest of the group. From face to face she looked before her gaze eventually settled back on Mai.
"So I'm afraid I must attempt to bond with you new allies of mine through a more traditional method of conversation." Senya shrugged, looking down at her hands while tracing her fingers along her knees "I've journeyed to many corners of the world, experienced numerous cultures time and time again, but such insight could only help me guess what your individual lives are like."
