To finish things off before working on the finer details he created aland in which the soles of the dead would find rest. Name: scrane

Title: cosmic janitor, death, keeper of forgotten things, herald of undeath

Gender: male

Appearance: 1582061242166.jpeg
1582177244316.png1582437045562.png1582437059915.png1582437074740.png1582437087663.png

Bio: scrane was always a annoying inevitably of the creation of morals once the plane of the dead (Aldroom) was formed there was scrane as its curator and administration, not only souls when there but all thing that could die.. the souls remaining in there afterlives that they perceived form there beliefs and ideologies, however the work load began to become a great deal to much for just scrane to handle, that’s when The reaper seemed to generate, to assist as collectors of the dead, the beliefs surrounding death Quickly grew more complex with there arrival more extravagant and complicated afterlives formed, and expectations for there deaths, soon cults and priestly ordered sprung up around scrane, the god of death was never really one to interfere with mortals allowing them to make whatever ideas of him the pleased, hence the many divergent views and fights between sects, it Never really bothered scrane until people began fearing death, and hoping people could be brought back, currently scrane is deliberating giving morals the ability to reanimate corpses... although he fears that people might try to bind the souls of the dead back to mortal realm. Interestingly scranes gone through a few ”phase“ as it where that helped solidify the very fractured well at least compared to other deities beliefs in him what scrane looks like very much depends on who you ask... although he maintains the look of a old man most of the time. recently with the help of maja (scranes favourite sister), scranes managed to... get with someone... and well his attitude has be slowly changing form grumpy old man to a little "younger"

Powers (ie. ice magic):

standard god powers

decay “magic”: scrane almost never uses this ability but he can cause objects and being to rapidly decay

“Memory editing“: scrane can cause people to forget something thus “killing” the idea the dead idea is stored in a vast library of books knows ans the archive of the forgotten.

command of reapers: scrane has at his disposal a vast legion of entities called “reapers” that collect the souls of the dead and do whatever tasks are needed within The various afterlives within scranes domain, there hightly affected by the beliefs of mortals there form and function changing to suite the required task.

overseer of the dead: only scrane has the power to rip a soul form there afterlives back into the mortal world or to another domain, any requests to deal with departed souls, it also allows him to talk to souls directly, getting interesting information and learning a good deal about there moral lives if he wants to, and it’s honestly his favourite past time

Weapon(s)/ Arcane Focus:

books of the dead: two apparently infinite tomes, one contains a list of everything and how it will die when it will die and where it goes, the other contains the tales of the lost, every forgotten and lost idea place or bits of knowledge, are contained with in basically a link to scrane library.

Pet (No more than 2):

“Grim” reaper
1582177144464.png

Religious followers: scrane has many interpretations amongst mortals the three

followers of the grave: maintain large shrines and temples through the world
1582437059915.png1582437087663.png
the cult of the damned: usually small conclaves within the follower's temples.. or underneath it there are some stand along temples
1582177244316.png
curators of the lost
1582061242166.jpeg
Personality: scranes personality is much like that of a old man, he tends to remain calm and thoughtful and enjoys a solid inevitable routine. Much like dead in a way. Although scrane can be considered grumpy and irritable by some of the other deities, complaining and lecturing them. And to other deities scrane is a some what eccentric and a little senile god that will happily listen To ones problems and trying to offer some advice. These two almost opposite personalities come simply form the fact, that there are people and deities scrane likes and dislikes, they can fall in and out of his favour depending on there actions, but in truth scrane really does care for everyone in his own ways... afterall everyone and everything dies eventually. recently though theres been a bit of a change in scranes attitude around the deities he likes... the old man not acting so old sometimes cutting a little lose.. but rarly although these things have been increasing in commonality

Likes (At least 3): grim, tea, orchestral music, giving long lectures/telling stories, reading through the archive of the lost, keeping the various afterlives in order, cats.

Dislikes (At least 3): other deities mess around in his business, excessive breaks in routine, being disrespected, people on his lawn.

Desire for followers: scrane personally doesn’t exactly have any desires for his followers directly thanks to the many interpretations of scrane, the “big three” sects each have there own ideas about him.

followers of the grave:preach that you should live life to its fullest enjoy your time on this mortal realm do what you feel is right for you, and most of all don’t waste the precious gift of life before the inevitable end that is dead. Thusly and ironically the followers actually try to prolong the lives of others, healing the sick and Injured, but if they do die... well it was there time, they only hope they had spent it well. The cult of the damned and the followers have a uneasy relationship with one another over burial and funeral rituals.

cult of the damned: another more grim interpretation of scrane, they see and dread the inevitability of death... the cult wishes to unlock the secrets of un-death, and bind the moral vessels of those departed so that whale their souls might rest... their bodies can serve those that still live. Of course, there are other more selfish reasons but all memeber are paranoid individuals that would rather spend there whole lives trying not to die... then actually live.. the cult tends to perform most burial rituals and services depending on the wises and beliefs of the dead will affect what is performed and how, all to make sure they get to there afterlives... for death is inevitable and always.., a good deal of them are necromancers or at least trying to become

Curators of the lost: scrane is a wholesale death god, even the death of less physically things fall under his domain, such as ideas and knowledge, the curators of the lost are groups dedicated to preserving such things, for nothing is truly dead if it still remembered, thusly they also try to recover lost knowledge and history to, bring these stuff into undeath and reviving it..

Name: Ashenar

Title: God of the Hunt, Bows and in some places, God of Wolves.

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Ashenar.png

Bio: Ashenar was created so the mortal had someone who could show them how to hunt. He also showed them how to create bows and the arrows that they throw. Among other things, he made sure to remind them to only ever hunt as needed. Never hunt purely for pleasure. Any kill should be treated with respect, as it gave it's life, so you could continue living yours. He doesn't mind celebrating after a successful hunt however, as to him, it's honoring the animals who have just given their lives. Usually followers of Ashenar will even re-enact the hunt, usually making it out to have been tougher than it was, ensuring the honor of what was hunted is not sullied.

Powers (ie. ice magic): Ashenar does not need to physically make arrows. He can conjure them up at will, and fire them with extreme accuracy. His two wolves are able to sniff out even the oldest of smells, allowing him to never lose track of his target. At times, Ashenar will gift his wolves tracking ability to hunters who he takes a fancy to, particularly ones who plead to him when finding meat is all but a lost hope. He isn't heartless after all, he dislikes seeing families of his followers starving or living in the cold with almost no warmth.

Weapon(s)/ Arcane Focus: An intricate bow. Most often depicted with either carvings of wolves, or with wolf heads on the tips where the bow is strung.

Pet/Herald: Two wolves. One White, One Black. Thought to be meant as a reminder to keep balance in nature: To never take more than what you need. The White wolf is named Hvitier, The Black wolf is called Yorakku.

Many followers also believe it to be a good omen when they see a lone white or black wolf during a hunt.

White.jpg

Black_Wolf.jpg

Religious followers: Can be found pretty much everywhere, as Hunting for meat and pelts is commonplace. Usually the only ones to depict Ashenar as a God of Wolves live in the north, where wolves are a much bigger problem compared to warmer regions. Normally people pray to him as they leave on a hunt. There aren't many specific places that are built to honor him. Instead people usually have a carving of a wolf, or even an unstrung bow that they use to represent him in their place of home. Many believe arrows blessed by Ashenar will always hit their mark.

Personality: Despite appearances, Ashenar is actually quite outgoing, and enjoys good fun and parties. During a hunt, he's known to joke around, though once the prey is spotted, he becomes serious. His Followers tend to take this into practice themselves, claiming that getting too serious on a hunt can lead to more mistakes than if you were relaxed. So far, most people agree, considering that fewer accidents happen to people who are able to joke around during a hunt compared to the ones who are always bark about being serious and aware. Some just believe it's Ashenar being a bit more generous in luck to hunters who know how to take a joke...

He has no tolerance for people who hunt purely out of pleasure. He always makes sure those kind of people tend to have terrible luck when it comes to hunting. Usually they always miss a few times, or they have broken bowstrings or other things broken into after returning home, always by what seems to be wild animals... Though no tracker, no matter how good, would ever find where those animals disappeared to.

Likes (At least 3): Hunting. (obviously)
A good prank or joke.
People who can take a joke, and throw one right back.
Enjoys a good party or celebration.
Likes other Gods and Goddesses who understand that animals are just a sacred kind of life as the mortals.

Dislikes (At least 3): Party poopers, though he understands that some gods or goddesses don't always have the time or inclination to have fun.
Hunting for pleasure and nothing else. He punishes those who do so.
People who can't take a joke. (the worst kind of people, am I right?)
Dislikes senseless violence, though not opposed to self defense. He's been known to grant some individuals his blessing when they are "hunting" other mortals in self defense. Usually only farmers or non-combatants. On rare occasions, a soldier who Ashenar believed to be in the right.

Desire for followers: To remember to honor the animals they hunt, and to not take any animal for granted. To never be too serious even during a hunt. To bare proper respect to all animal life, and to treat the weapon used in the hunt as they would a family member, for without said weapon, hunting would not be so successful.

Name: Amareus

Title: God of Time, Wishes and Heroism

Gender: Dragon

Appearance:
1582785542073.png

Izuru the 2nd.jpg

1582160572820.png

Bio:
Amareus was created by the Progenitor God Xanathar for the purpose of safeguarding Time in the universe. Mortals, Gods and the Ethereal were all bound to the laws of time, requiring a god to control its overwhelming power. Such was the reason for Amareus, the Melancholic Dragon God. Due to his work keeping him among mortals, Amareus grew attached to them all. He saw their struggle, their creativity and their heart to be far more endearing than anything else. Most of all, he admired how so many of them offered heartfelt prayers to the gods in the face of such an overwhelming world. Soon Amareus discovered that Wishes were a pure form of power that he could observe and even wield. Crystallizing these wishes, Amareus soon learned how to alter the fabric of the universe in a similar but more specific way than his creator. Seeing how so many mortals perished under the foot of horrific monsters, Amareus took these wishes and created the first Heroes. Granting ordinary mortals the knowledge of how to turn their wishes into power, Amareus created both the Dark Hunters and the Heroes Guild. Amareus created the sword known as Rupture in an experiment with converting wishes into a powerful weapon. Using it against the red dragon, Myniadas; Amareus utterly obliterated him and a good portion of reality with a single swipe. Taking this into mind after Xanathar made him promise to only use it in the event of a crisis, Amareus gave his followers the secret of Soul Metal. Having armed many great warriors, wizards and champions; Amareus became the patron of all Heroes. Feeling like he has never fit in with the gods, Amareus spends whatever time he can observing and guiding mortals to prevent them from tipping the scales.

Powers (ie. ice magic):
TIME
Clockwork Overlord: Amareus is the god of all Time. It’s flow, progression, timelines and eventualities are all under his control. He has seen the beginning of the universe and quite easily sees it end. Such is the power of one who rules over time.

WISHES
Wish Crystallization: Amareus can hear the thoughts, prayers and wishes of all beings. Consolidating, compacting and crystallizing these wishes produces a kind of magic that can perform genuine miracles. He has used this power to create things like Soul Metal, the Divine Chalice and even the reality cutting sword Rupture. Using the power of wishes, Amareus can move worlds and utilize complex magic that he normally couldn't.

HEROES
The Hero Forge: Amareus can create Heroes from mortals with potential. Imbuing them with otherworldly powers and arming them with legendary weapons, Amareus can turn ordinary people into champions. These Heroes will make their mark on the world before passing onto the next. When they die, their weapons and memories are stored within Amareus's personal dimension known as the Libra of Heroes.

Weapon(s)/ Arcane Focus:
.Stick II (A staff carved from the wood of the first tree)
.Rupture (A Sword that can cut through reality)
.Black Coat (Obscures the identity and existence of Amareus)

Pet (No more than 2):
1582194825424.png
1582194993303.png

Religious followers:
The Heroes Guild: A public organization that provides training and work for those who seek to become freelance mercenaries and heroes.
The Order of Amareus: A secret order of black cloaked individuals who wear powerful suits of armor made from Soul Metal. They operate in the shadows and slay dangerous monsters that threaten the public. The strongest among them are the Divine Knights, warriors wearing armor directly designed by Amareus himself.

Personality:
Amareus is a kind soul who desires nothing more than someone he can call a loved one. He doesn't feel like he's ever fit in among his divine compatriots. They're just too different and strange to him, although he often wonders if its just because HE'S the weird one. Sometimes he feels like Xanathar created him just because the lack of control over Time on the world annoyed the Progenitor too much. Unable to connect with the gods, Amareus prefers to watch over mortals instead. Amareus loves mortals and their many complex intricacies. He admires their desire for understanding, their struggle to survive and especially the way they manage to cram so much into a single life. He treats many different kinds of mortals with a warmth he never shares in the realm of the divine. As a God of Balance, Amareus has always done his best to ensure the mortals never had to worry about tyrants or anarchists. Even if many mortals don't believe in him or even his existence, Amareus still loves them. Their imperfections are what make them so interesting to observe and to guide. Yet even then, Amareus doesn't quite fit in with mortals either. He is a god, an ephemeral existence that will exist for all of time. He can love them, he can view them, yet he will never truly understand them. This lack of peers anywhere has led Amareus to be a rather melancholic being who spends long periods of time sitting upon his throne and watching from afar at gods and mortals he'll never understand.

.Wishes

Dislikes (At least 3):

Title: Goddess of Luck, Mischief and Assassination (Luck the Lady/ Lady Luck)

Gender: Female

Bio:
Born the Goddess of Luck those blessed by the lady throughout history found no end to their prosperity and vice versa those disregarded by the lady tended to suffer greatly on their way through life. For millennia Ádh went about turning the tables in favor of those who worshiped her and she gained quite a cult following. Lady Luck has been a goddess prayed to for many a thing and as time continues her fame grows greater every day. But every since the invention of gambling came about there has been a drastic increase in the amount of worshipers she covets. But how exactly did gambling come to be? That's a question for another time.

due to Ádh's assosiation with Luck she has been called mischievous by nature. Humans fully believe this and she has become the patron god of mischief as a result. Likewise assassination also seems to be something shes had landed on her plate in recent times. Apparently assassins regularly pray for luck and thus Ádh has become their patron God too. It's funny how human faith works but Ádh doesn't really mind as it's given her a slew of new powers. LUCKY!

Powers:
Luck Embodiment :
Enhanced Senses:
Dagger Proficiency:
Card Manipulation:
Discord Inducement:
Invisibility:

Weapon(s)/ Arcane Focus:
1582143198652.png

1582143303421.png

Religious followers: Humans the world over, Assassins, Gamblers and those up to tomfoolery.
1582144169403.png
Personality:
Ádh is a carefree godess who lives every day to the fullest. She's highly energetic and is often found causing mischief somewhere in Avalon. Ádh is never serious about any situation she finds herself in and has a habit of making the impossible possible. Many gods dissaprove of her antics and how she can sway a situation far from the norm but ultimatly shes a well loved goddess who would be very much missed were she not around. Ádh is also well known for cheering up gods and goddesses in avalon when their pride is hurt and is often the goddess called to help deescalate a situation. She is the queen of dad jokes! Fact!

Do be warned though, Ádh has a very masochistic and sadistic side that comes out when she gambles.

Likes: Playing Cards, Humans, Coffee, Pranks, Discord, Dancing, Drinking, Parties and what humans refer to as 'Dad Jokes'.

Dislikes: Tea, Boring Meetings, Being Scolded, Those Who Can't Take Jokes, Super Serious Atmospheres, Balance

Desire for followers: To take big risks, live as they wish and never fold.

"LUCK!
The lady
That lowers the likelihood of life's lotto's loss for the lazy
When you're larking with lice
That are larger than life
At least you'll have the lethal last laugh and the like
The lie of the land's less than lavish and lovely
But when looking for loot you'll locate lots of luxury
Loads of little lowlifes leering at your luggage?
A lone laddy's liable to let them them learn what luck is!"

A poem written for Lady Luck that has become somewhat of a prayer displayed in gambling dens across the mortal realm

Name: Gul'Baraz

Title: God of War, Monsters and Chaos

Gender: Male

Appearance:

kRl8JQt.png
Gravehammer.png

Bio: One of the relatively younger Gods, Gul'Baraz was made as the manifestation of mortality's many flaws. His immediate first action was attempting to violently butcher the followers of the Goddess of Love. The two fought each other to a standstill for a very long while, his champions and armies continuously getting beguiled by hers, while her own champions were occasionally butchered by his raiders. Eventually, he realized that constant warfare caused him to feel....Monotonous. Soon enough, he found himself having feelings for his foe, and before he knew it, he was kissing his future wife amidst a bloody battlefield. He is still the God of War and Chaos, but many times he acts against his nature, in order to appease his wife.

Powers (ie. ice magic): Standard God Powers

Destroyer of All:
Gul'Baraz's strength, technique, and durability are legendary, even by Godly standards. His fighting prowess, as a result, is truly absurd. Not that he can meaningfully fight anything....

The Consequences of Mankind's folly: Gul'Baraz can inspire warriors, warlords, lunatics, glory seekers, the desperate, and other such outsiders with the knowledge and power to accomplish their goals. Often, he approaches them in human form, urging them to fulfill their destiny

Fiends of the World: Gul'Baraz can create monsters and mutants of varying power, size, and sentience. The more complex or powerful monsters require more effort on his part.

Chaos Incarnate: Instead of appearing to only one Mortal, Gul'Baraz can sow chaos amongst entire areas, causing mutation, madness, and violence. His own devout are Immune to the Taint created from this ability, but for the rest, only allies, or those favored by his darling may pass unscathed. This ability can be used on a much smaller scale if he so desires

Lord of the Wasteland: A situational ability closely tied with his domain, Gul'Baraz is strengthened by the presence of chaos and war/warriors, in all forms, be it just or unjust. If he has gained enough power this way, he can perform feats that would normally be outside his reach. The monstrous race of the beastmen or the Chaos Wastes have both been created by this magic.

One and the Same: His least notable power, he can possess any of his devout, or mortals that share at least some similar qualities with him. While possessing his vessel, his presence cannot be felt from it unless he reveals it to specific individuals, and he is indistinguishable from the original. He has any powers the possession target has.

Weapon(s)/ Arcane Focus: He has many a divine weapon and suit of armor, all gifts from his Son. His personal favorite is Starcrusher, a Maul so powerful it can supposedly destroy the stars themselves, if he hit them hard enough

Pet (No more than 2): Khalur, the Coward's Bane. It is said to go forth unto the world, pursuing cowards and unworthy fools.
latest

Religious followers: Warbands, Cults, Armies...If it wants people dead, It probably wishes his favor

Personality: Proud, Reckless, and with almost null self-control, Gul'Baraz is about as chaotic as his own followers. Surprisingly popular amongst mortals, Gul'Baraz is absolutely certain that almost all of them are deep-down creatures of chaos, with most of them simply being in denial. Of course, he will never admit this in front of his darling. His wild nature makes him fond of mortals and base enjoyments in life, too, and he has quite the wandering eye. As a result, he very frequently goes into the mortal realm, sowing demigods, having a pint with soldiers or possessing warriors and feeling the thrill of fighting without hyperstrength.

Likes (At least 3): War, Chaos, Monsters, Violence, Bravery, Innovation, anything pretty, Strength

Dislikes (At least 3): Peace, Balance, Order, Cowardice, Pretentiousness.

Desire for followers: Anyone with a desire for glory, chaos, war, or mutation

Bio: Serenica was the first creation ever formed into existence from Xanathar. As she was created to become his wife and his closest advisor she was made from his very being. By copying his essence and reshaping it into a new form she was made to be the most powerful goddess to ever exist. She would have the wisdom to always have the answer needed for a problem, courage to do what is needed to do regardless of how bad it might seem in the moment, and power to grasp victory in the moment when it is most needed. She would embody these things helping Xanathar to bring forth a world that would live and thrive alongside their children.

Powers (ie. ice magic): Absolute Wisdom Courage Embodiment Victory Embodiment

Weapon(s)/ Arcane Focus: The Weave

Pet (No more than 2): None

Religious followers: Everyone follows her in one way or another

Personality: Serenica is above all things a loving mother who cares for her children just as much as Xanathar who just wants the best for them. This does not mean though that she will just allow them to do whatever they like without consequences. Any decision made that would bring about far more chaos or even order would be seen as unwise in her eyes. As for granting victory hse only does so to those who are most devoted to her or those whose victory would make the best outcome but she is reluctant in granting such a thing as it removes free will and choice from mortals reserving such a thing for only the most dire of situations.

Likes (At least 3): Xanathar, all her children, and flowers

Dislikes (At least 3): Unwise decisions, destruction, and imbalance

Desire for followers: She wishes that people think a bit before taking action, that they all are brave to do what is most needed to be done, and that they try and grasp victory for themselves and for what they believe in most.

Name: Aurion, the Dark Lord

Title: God of Destruction, Corruption and Domination

Gender: Male

Appearance:
1588373315035.jpeg
Aurion primarily appears as the above, but can still take on a human shape. That typically appears as a human or elf, beautiful and fair, bearing knowledge. A black crown of thin barbs adorns his head, in contrast to his golden-red armor.

At times, Aurion will take his true shape: a towering Lord of Destruction, three-eyed and clad in darkness, crowned with ice and burning with inner flames. That shape is taller than mountains, and is armored in adamant and iron. Black and red diamonds decorate his form, glowing with dark light.

Bio: Born of Xanathar, Aurion desired to create new things. Seeing the gods form the world, he desired to join them. However, he found he could only destroy and corrupt. And so, Aurion turned his malice and might into the corruption and dominion of all things.

Powers:
Corruption: Aurion can pour his power into an object or living thing, and turn it towards himself. This makes it powerful, but also ties it to Aurion. It can only exist at his will, and as long as his focus, and it suffers his own weakness of light. Living things are weakened by sunlight, and objects are less durable.

Fire Unending: Aurion can cast great and destructive flames at a target, destroying it from the inside out. Non-divine beings cannot heal it without godly assistance.

Cloud of Darkness: A great storm of ash and ice, that ravages the land with black lightning and fiery rain. Aurion uses this to reshape his realm into something darker and hateful.

Dominion: A glare of malice and might that breaks the will of lesser beings. They instantly fall to worship him, but it only works in close range, and can be countered by a powerful will.

Weapon(s)/ Arcane Focus: Valakarion, the Sword of Flame. A massive blade of destructive might, Aurion is deeply invested in it. It burns with flame, and issues black, corrosive smoke.

Malagni, the Iron Crown: A helm of black and slender barbs upon his head, this crown is Aurion’s pride. It seems to magnify his already-formidable powers of Dominion.

Pet (No more than 2):
Malrion, the Eclipsing Wings: A spirit of flame incarnate as flesh, scale and plate, Malrion is an image of dread. Winged and golden, he is covered in thorned scale and armed with barbed claws of iron. He can breath sun-bright flames, rendering his foes ash. Malrion is loyal to Aurion, and frequently leads his armies upon the earth.

Religious followers: Primarily orcs and evil humanoids. They claim that he is the rightful ruler of creation, and war in his name.

Personality:
Dreadful and grim, chaotic and impulsive. Aurion desires to rule and corrupt, seeking new means to ravage and conquer. He loves only his works of fire and dread, and hates elves with a fiery passion. He can be charming and polite, but this is only a facade of his terrible soul.

Likes (At least 3): Darkness, cunning, destruction, gold, craftsmanship, and fire.

Dislikes (At least 3): Sunlight, fresh water, fresh air. Hates elves above all else.

Desire for followers: To serve his goals, and none other.
