Currently most inclined to have Alisa go with this option. How easy would it be to have Alisa find such a place within the Evergreen, assuming she doesn't know of one right off the bat?

How easy before the war for Highwind? Very easy for someone in Alisa's boots. Now that the war is here? Damned near impossible, if you're thinking long-term. A small hidey hole or you and your small party for a week? No problem. For an entire tribe of kobolds? They will be found by something dangerous sooner rather than later. Alisa can bet her holy symbol on it.
Shandra's Evergreen is what they call the entire collection of forests in and around the area of Highwind. It is huge, and is home to many, many creatyres both fair and foul.
As such, the Maiden of the Forest has always had a lot to work to do to keep this place from being defiled. Enough to keep her beloved worshipers busy for their entire lives, you might say. =)
Glad you asked! This is where her skill in Nature comes into play. Is there something she would like to do with that skill? =)

Well, should you decide to, you can ask me for a Nature roll to see if there is any tales or rumors on the person Oscar is describing in Alisa's knowledge. =)Your character has 5 Ranks in Nature with a +1 bonus Wisdom modifier for a total of +6 for before any die roll is made.
On another note, I remember how well you treated us in your Avatar game, walking us hand in hand through that twisting forest of mathematics and rules. The least I can do for you is return the favor in the game I'm running! =)
