Ten Thousand Club
Listening to everything Dawson said, Isabel couldn’t help but roll her eyes, trying to get Sicily to turn around and not listen to Dawson but knew that was a long shot. “I won’t fall. I know what I’m doing. I can take care of myself.” She said sternly before the prized horse obeyed Dawson and turned to the direction the ranch was, trotting away. Looking away from Dawson after, Isabel sighed as she reached up to her neck and realized she wasn’t wearing her necklace. Panic soared through her body. That was the necklace Liz had gotten her and held so much meaning and she knew it must’ve fallen when Sicily was galloping at a fast pace. Getting off of Sicily when they arrived back at the barn, she sighed as she placed her hand against where the compass would have sat. Trying to lighten her mood, she smiled when her niece rod back with Dawson. Not uttering a word to her husband, she smiled when her mini me got off the pony and ran to her aunt happily. “Did you see me, Auntie! It was fun!” She said with a bright expression and Isabel simply nodded, not being able to lighten her expression much when the little girl ran back inside. Hearing Dawson call her name again, Isabel turned around and looked at him, sighing. “Don’t say anything. I don’t want to hear it. I’ll be inside.” Was all she said, walking back towards the house but stopped when she felt Dawson grab her arm. “Dawson, let go. I just want to go inside and enjoy my time with the company who isn’t angry with me.”
