Agathia, a land that rose from the ashes of a nearly destroyed civilization, is split in half. One half is made safe for the Magicals that have finally emerged out of their hidden sanctuary due to having been pushed into the shadows for years. The other half made of humans, decedents of those who had survived the destruction of their previous world. Agathia is a wide open world full of new magic and new discoveries to be made. It is only ruled by one Emperor, a man who lazes around like a sloth, eating whatever food he could reach for, not giving a damn about the cities he has to oversee. Thankfully there are those who are willing to do anything for their beloved land.

The gates of the Academy are opening. Students who aspire to become Speros are gathering.

Hello there! This is a new group roleplay I'm hoping to start up. At the moment any amount of people can join. Let's not make this long-winded and get straight to it! Ah, but just a note, I have my own views of this world, but I thought that developing the land with other people would be better, so I've left most of everything opened so that people can take part in creating their own stories about the place!
Settings- Agathia is a world that was created after the downfall of the one we know. This forced all humans to start over again. Science and technology still continue to exist, however, now there is also magic. After the Magicals emerged from their hiding places the humans were forced to coexist along side them, which has caused a slight tension between their societies. So, because of this tension, the Emperor decided to have the land split in half, two main cities for each part of the land. These separated places are known as The North and The South. Although the lands have been split, Magicals and humans are permitted to cross the boarder at any time, but they must be wary of those who do not want them there.
The North- This land belongs to the Magicals. It is a place full of forests and old villages. Although the Magicals are known to be genuinely friendly and hospitable, there are those who couldn't care less about humans and would do anything to claim all the land for themselves. Not all Magicals are good, but not all humans are good either.
Technology has yet to reach the place, however the Magicals are always welcomed to cross over to The South and explore for themselves.
The South- A place where humans mostly roam. It is mostly populated by scientists and engineers. The South is quite advanced in terms of technology, though it hasn't yet gotten to the point of automobiles it will get there some day. The humans that had survived the destruction of their previous world had only been children at the time, so they wouldn't have carried on the knowledge of their ancestors.
In The South you can find Bellator Academy, a training school for those who seek to become a 'Spero'.
Bellator Academy- One of the most prestigious schools in Agathia, though not the only one. This Academy was built to train young people that they will one day become Speros; guardians and protectors of all the lands. Here, the students can train their combat skills and/or their magic. They can also learn to become explorers, hunters, researchers, scientists and even politicians. After all, the Emperor will be overthrown at some point in time.
What is a Spero?- No matter what profession you are taking on at Bellator Academy, you will still be known as a Spero. Speros are trained groups or individuals that have a desire to protect the innocent humans and Magicals from those who are seeking to tip the balance of the world. There will always be those who want to see the world burn once more, or those who simply crave blood and destruction. Speros are regarded with the most respect in both North and South. They are known as the guardians, as the 'hope' of the world. After their training is complete, they will be given a weapon of their choosing and they will be given free access to services. If they happen to lose or break their weapon, the school will not provide them another and they will not be allowed any of the privileges they previously had until they get a new weapon.
If you are hoping to form a Spero group, then you will need a Captain and three other teammates. Spero groups are people who travel together and explore together. If one teammate is lost then it will be difficult to find another to replace them.
Note: If you are not seeking to be a Spero, you may be able to find some quests and jobs you can do, and if you are lucky, you may find some people looking for mercenaries to get a job done for them.
