Welcome to AHS
Adams High School, formerly known as Adams High School for the Arts, was once a place of creativity and expression. But recent redistricting and budget cuts has turned AHSA into a plain school, AHS. However, the school board decided to let current students stay at the school, rather than having to finish out their high school experience elsewhere, for the sake of the upperclassmen.
The halls used to be filled with music and dance, student artwork everywhere you could see. Now the lockers are a disappointing grey, the walls a more disappointing beige. The halls are silent, and teachers don't encourage creativity- they encourage high test scores.
This is a stark difference from the school that ASHA students knew, and they want their school back. Can they deal with attending an "average" school, or will they do everything in their power to make it extraordinary once more?
Welcome to the AHSA Show Choir
AHSA is a haven for the arts in an otherwise bland town. More than that, though, it's the center of creativity and different-ness in the town. ASHA is home to many show choirs and acapella groups. Many of these groups are polished, however, one is less so. They aren't less talented, they just have less experience- often new students and freshmen. These newbies have to navigate a school which turns stereotypes on its head, and figure out what they have within them to make a name for themselves.
