Fantasy ACADEMIA (Super Powered RP)

[yoikes]

The story takes place in a world where superpowers existed after a mysterious event 30 years ago, when a mysterious blue light blast through the sky around the world.
After the light dissipates, mankind started to developed superhuman powers such as fire controlling to invincibility. Not all of the humans, however, gains the power.


These people are referred as "Wave" (Referring to the blue light blast) and the are to register their self right after they awaken their power


The Wave's power, however, can only be used when it is triggered by doing a specific action. For example, wearing a hat, eating a candy/gum, claps their hand, etc.


There is a place where young Wave learns to control their power and used it for good, a school named ACADEMIA.


This RP will focused in the clash between the Student Councils, that stand in the top of the systems, and the Delinquents that stand in the bottom. The clash happens as the Delinquents is trying to uncover the truth behind the Sky's Wave (the accident 30 years ago), which they believe is connected somehow to AURORA Corp., the owner of Academia

The Delinquents are put together inside the same class, "to make it easier to watch over them". Those who "sniff around" AURORA Corp. will also be labeled as one

ACADEMIA'S SCHOOL RULES


1) Do not use power inside the school building


1a) If they did, they are to be detained


1b) If they did and destroy the school building, they are to be detained and held inside the Detention Room for a day


2) Teacher are not allowed to oppose the Student Council


2a) The only teacher allowed to do so is the Principal and the Vice-Principal


2b) The Principal and the Vice Principal must ask for permission from the School Committee before they do so (opposing the Student Council)


3)The President and the Vice President of the Student Council is chosen by the School Committee


3a) The President and the Vice President will later nominate several students as the members of the Student Council, which will later be approved by the School Comitee


3b) The School will not take any resignation letter


THE DETENTION ROOM

it's a regular classroom, but with bars and locks, and security camera in all corners. The classroom is built with the same materials the police used to detain a Wave prisoner

Name: Levina Hall

Age: 17

Appearance: Always seen wearing a school uniform, a pair of glove and a steel ring on her left hand. She is quite tall and rather slim. She have a short black hair, thought her hair is a little bit of longer in the back. Her eyes is blue, and as clear as the sky

Personality: A quiet girl, she never really talk much. She will only talk when something is in the matter, and only talk to several people that she trusted. People called her a 'cool beauty'. An observant.

Power: Lighting

Power Trigger: Removing a steel ring in her left finger will allow her to unleash her power

Ability cooldown: She need to rest her body. The headache is the limit indicator. If she force her self too much, she will get nosebleed. She will eventually collapse, either go unconscious or died

Limits of activity/The amount of power that can be used: Pretty much unlimited. Her body, however, can't stand to use that "unlimited power" too much

Cost of the ability(if there are any):

Background: Nothing much known about her, other than that she is the daughter of Ford Hall, one of AURORA Corp. founders. The rumor said that they wanted to give her the position of Student Council President, but she refused and choose to become the Vice President instead.

Other: Wears glasses. When she was about to fight, she would put it away.

Appearance: Rather short one. A cute little girl with long blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes.

Personality: A cherry one, and like to encourage people to fight. An easy going girl, and she could make friend with everyone. Labeled as "Delinquents" after she tried to make her Newspaper Club tries to uncover the truth behind the Sky's Wave accident. After she labeled as one, people started to avoid her (as Delinquents are well known as the enemy of the Student Council) and her club members start to resign one by one. She believes that something is not right and tries to uncover the truth to the World (She will be Delinquent's main informant and spy)

Background: (She said) She was born in a normal family, until one day, in the last year of junior high, the Government come over to her junior high school and do their routine check up. The result said that she had a power, quite a strong one, that not yet awaken inside her. Playing safe, the Government forcefully take her to Academia.

Kelsey is clever and very smart but lazy. He doesn't do anything he finds to bothersome unless it concerns a friend. He loves to take naps and has a large heart. He is loyal to his friends and very laid back. Despite being lazy he's full of curiosity which often gets the best of him. He's rebellious and does only what he wants to do. He is rather apathetic otherwise.

Background:


Kelsey grew up in the slums to a crack addicted mother and a no name father. He was beaten and starved from the time he was born. When he was old enough he began to steal to survive. It was threw stealing that he discovered his powers. At 14 he stole a cake to celebrate his birthday and got caught. While being chased from the store he fell and cut his arm on a nearby shelf. The security guard chasing him reached him and in his panic Kelsey lashed out. Before he knew it the security guard was flying back thanks to being slapped by a long string of blood. Kelsey escaped and soon began training to control his power. A year later he received a invitation to the school.

Personality: Kain is the Don't give a crap about anybody type of guy. He he doesn't stand for bullying and can get really angry when provoked. He doesn't seem to have compassion...maybe. He also rarely talks and if he does, It means its important.


Power: Brute Strength


Power trigger: Rage/Desperation/Hatred are few of the triggers but the main triggers is extreme pain, and his biggest trigger is being put in small places. (He is Clasterphobic)


Ability cooldown: After 10 minutes of usage needs about 1 hour to cool down.


Length of activity after release: 10 minutes


Limits of activity: enough to knock a train going full speed off the track with one blow.


Cost of ability: Muscle fatigue, dizziness, Broken bones (depending on how hard a hit was)


Background: Kain was originally apart of the student Council but he was taken off for rebelling against his own Fellow council members. Now he is under strict watch also for his rage and brute strength. No one knows exactly why he Rebelled but he was a top student. Formerly the Student council President everyone had high expectations for him. He also seems to always be tired. Seeing that he could not resign he was just kicked out and placed as a Deliquent. Name: Panthea Gardenia (Thea)


Age: 16


Appearance: What she looks like is further down.


Personality: Panthea is rather quiet and doesn't talk much to people unless she is good friends with them, or knows them rather well. She likes to live in her head a lot of the time and finds more comfort in the clouds than down on Earth and in reality.


Power: She can create anything that has already be created, whether it be a magical sword from a book or show, and use it's powers. All of these are stored in a book that she carries around with her.


Power Trigger: She has to open her book


Ability cool down: Book closes


Length of activity after release: As long as the book is open on the page that the power or weapon is on.


Limits of activity/The amount of power that can be used: The limits of the ability is that if the book is closed, the power or weapon is deactivates and disappears.


Cost of the ability(if there are any): Slowly going deaf. Affects one ear then the other. She is almost deaf in her right ear.


Background: She has an older brother that also has powers and in his last year of the school. Her parents had sent them here, not wanting to deal with the powers that they had received. Their parents don't have any powers. She had a younger sister as well, but she had died a few years ago because of a mishap with her powers when they were first discovered.

Personality: Very Talkative, hotheaded, childish. He can be very kind and understanding when he needs to be, however, he has a “reputation” to keep.


Power: Fire Manipulation


Power Trigger: Touching a flame to his tongue


Ability cooldown: After using it he must wait 15 minutes


Length of activity after release: 30 minutes


Limits of activity/The amount of power that can be used: Jason cannot make fire on his own, he has to have fire in his presence for him to control it.


Background: Jason grew up in the hard streets of Detroit, after being abused by his parents and being picked on at school he unleashed his powers. He was forced by the government to come here because of the “incidents” regarding him using his powers in public. He was immediately put under close watch because he was a constant heap of trouble always making their jobs harder.


Other: He carries around a lighter so that he can start fire whenever he wants

Personality: very stuck up and snobby, carefree, manipulative


Power: Gravity nullification

Ability cooldown: After using it he must wait 10 minutes before using his senses again


Length of activity after release: 20 minutes


Limits of activity/The amount of power that can be used: Fredrick can manipulate the gravity around himself and of others. His limit his 30 meters.


Background: Fredrick was born into a very rich family, all his life he was handed things and treated other people like crap. People usually never tried to mess with him because his family has the biggest impact on the economy in 10 countries. He was sent to this school and was immediately a nominee for Student council. As of now, he’s just the Disciplinary, but rumor has it that he has a high chance of being chosen as president.


Other: He carries apple juice in his backpack just in case he ever needs it.

Name: Gwynnith (Gwyn please) irons


Age: 17


Appearance:





Personality: Gwyn is many things. Subtle is not one of them. She speaks her mind constantly, in fact she never stops chattering, whether muttering or ranting she vocalizes most all of her thoughts. Her chatter is usually nice though, she cares deeply about most everyone and always has an ear open (as well as her mouth, just talk over her, shes listening) to people's problems. Shes smart logical and passionate about her work. She does have a surprisingly quick temper and tends to be overconfident in her element.


Power: Analysis; She can analysis anything with a glance, think of any sci-fi movie with a HUD, she can do that and more. Strengths weaknesses, blueprints and components become obvious to her after one quick look.


Power Trigger: rubbing her eyelids with her fingers then opening her eyes


Ability cooldown: the time she has it active +5 minutes


Length of activity after release: depends on complexity of the focused on object. A simple toy would be about 20 second while an airplane would be an hour.


Limits of activity/The amount of power that can be used: She gets a growing headache as long as her power is used that escalates to a migrane the longer she goes.

Background: Gwyn was born to a poor family grew up on the outskirts of Dublin Her father was a musician and her mother was a housewife so they had no idea why she was always so good with machines. She grew up relatively happy though, her home was near a scrapyard and she spent many an hour sifting through junk, fixing and building. Thats not to say she didn't have trouble. Besides mechanics she has one other passion. Boxing. The reason she developed this was two fold. When she was in middle school she was bullied harshly for her poverty, engine grease stained clothes and hair which was stained by the black grease. This was around her first unofficial take your daughter to work day,. Despite her gifted skills with machines, her father insisted that she learn the family trade, the fiddle. She was progressing fairly well and her father said it was time to play in public. In Dublins rowdiest bar. She nearly ran when she saw that she had to play over a fist fight. So she did what any normal 13 year old would do and tried to break up the fights. She tried asking nicely, pleading and shouting. Then she broke a bottle over a patrons head and gut punched another. She showed up t school the next day with bleached hair and Grease highlights. She broke her bullies faces in and was never given any guff from her class again. Shortly after she discovered her power and was invited to attend Academia. She quickly established her self as the go to girl for any machine problems from malfunctioning watches to broken down cars. She does not offer any preferential treatment to council members or delinquents and considers her machine shop neutral ground, and heaven help anyone who tries to violate it.

Personality: Even though Kiera is a klutz and sometimes too sarcastic for her own good. She's a smiling bubbly person who loves to help people. She doesn't tolerate most violence, that goes with the exception of when her friends or someone she knows (specially students).


Power: Ice maker


Power Trigger: Making contact with something cold


Ability cool down: 30 minutes


Length of activity after release: 1-2 hours depends on her anger or her will


Limits of activity/The amount of power that can be used: Limits: never close to a fire it makes her freak out.Amount: not much since she still looses focus for being too deep a thought


Cost of the ability(if there are any): A slight memory loss of the past 30 minutes only last around 10 minutes.


Background: Kiera was always a well enough groomed little girl. She was born into a single child single parent home. Most of her time was spent in school and then back at home where her curiosities were satisfied by reading when she was young but as she grew up she started using her laptop. As she grew up her mother started coming home less and less than when she was a child. It got to the point were Kiera and her mom no longer saw each other. Kiera's power was discovered with a dispute between her and her mother one day after school. Kiera got angry at her mother for wanting to change her into a private school for all girls without Kiera's consent. Kiera screamed as the room got colder and her mother's feet started to freeze with ice. Kiera gasped and stopped her movements dropping to her knees as she became blank. Ever since then when Kiera uses her powers she looses all memory of the 30 minutes before she uses them. After that with her mother afraid sent Kiera to the Academia to make her control her own powers.

Kiera's hobbies include just reading and being on her laptop and usually just randomly walking around.


Kiera hates when people call her short even though she is around 5'4''


Kiera keeps her hands gloved all the time afraid of accidentally hurting someone
