Realistic or Modern a beauty and the beast au

So the Belle character of this story would still be the daughter of Maurice. But in this rp instead of him being an inventor he is a police chief that is considered crazy, but he is the best on around. And she is still the girl that is quite ahead of her time. She helps out at the police station but is still getting harassed by small minded detectives like Gaston.



The Beast character is still very cruel and mean. But instead of being a prince he is the head of one of the most feared gangs named the thorns. Maybe his nickname is beast because he just has the personality and appearance of one. He is just big and really freaking scary because of all the scars and tattoos he has. And nobody knows his really name. Maybe instead of him having the whole rose thing. He needs someone to fall I love with him so he can leave the gang and start over again.



So maybe Maurice is sent on an undercover mission to infiltrate the gang. And it goes south, so Belle goes to help her father out. But after seeing there is no way to get him out of there, she ultimately takes his place. Beast clearly doesn’t expect this but he goes through with it because if he finds love then he can leave his life of crime behind him.
