A week ago, Outside Hades Palace
Faster, they had to run faster. The plan failed, but they had it, they had the helm. They could come back, they could finish what they started... A large tremor shook the ground, an enraged scream cutting the air. "WHERE IS IT!? WHERE DID IT GO!? WHO TOOK IT!?". Well, they could finish what they started, they just had to get out of here alive. Three hundred yards...Two hundred...One hundred...gone. The little known entrance into the underworld opened for the thief, and shut right behind them, the raging god and shaking earth now a distant memory.

Present day, Camp Half-Blood, Dining pavilion
Out of twenty tables, Nineteen had occupants. Twenty tables for gods, both minor and major, one table for each cabin, with more still being built for more of the pantehon. If the cabin wasn't built, you wound up at the table for Hermes, just that simple. As usual, table five, the table for the children of ares, was a mess. Young men and women shouting and laughing, shoving each other playfully, a few threatening to 'knock your teeth out' to their buddies. Each table was unique in it's own right, not just table five. And then, there was the big three table. Table one, three, and thirteen for Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades respectively. And at table thirteen, sat one young man, and only one. Kris dusk, or 'sunshine' as he was called by those he was friends with, was currently at his usual seat at the table, sipping from a goblet filled with cherry soda.

Kris was about five ten, with deep blue eyes and neatly combed brown hair. His skin was terribly pale, to the point one might consider him sickly, or that he didn't know what the sun was. While he preferred his custom 'rainbow tie dye' shirts, the bright orange camp shirt worked just as well for him. Now eighteen, he'd been at camp for about eight years now, and in that time, he'd formed good friendships, introduced new campers, and been on a quest or two. As was custom, he'd saved a decent portion of his food on his plate for the nightly tribute to his father, and the gods in general.

At table nine, the children of Hephaestus were enjoying their meal, a few of them working with each other over some blueprint paper and schematics they had all been working on. Near the end of the table was young Dwayne Gale, a decently tanned sixteen year old boy with messy and short black hair, and bright green eyes. Instead of being covered in grease and soot, he was surprisingly clean, the only time he would be was at dinner. From his edge seat, he worked on his own small sketch for a weapon, his tongue poking out from the edge of mouth as he focused.
