So, I have a plot with some Japanese themes in it. This does not mean you actually have to know what the things I may reference are. If you don't know, I'll explain it. 1x1, need a male. Don't have many requirements, besides post length can be 1-2 paragraphs, and please be ok with dark themes (Gore, abuse, ect.).
Now for the plot.
There were two clans living amongst us: The Kumo, and the Kitsune. The Kitsune were known for their stealth and good fortune.
The Kitsune clan lived in the astonishingly beautiful world known as The Shadow Realm, and venerate Tsukiyomi, the God of the Moon.
The Kumo, on the other hand, were...well, there's a lot of ways to describe them, but we will dub them as simply evil for now.
They were known for their many, many cruel acts, such as murder, kidnapping, and manipulating others for their own gain.
The main crime they committed most was the manipulation, having often sent a member or two from their clan to the Kitsune.
If infiltration was successful, they would trick the people there. Though this has worked only few times, the results were... devastating for the Kitsune.
In order to end these wrong acts, the Lord of the Kitsune planned to destroy the Kumo once and for all.
However, one little mistake destroyed them instead.
They different know that the Lord of the Kumo infiltrated the Kitsune and heard about what they would do, and so the evil lord kidnapped the Kitsune Lord's daughter and locked her away.
Then the rest of the Kumo attacked. They took the rest the Kitsune altogether and enslaved them along with the Lord's daughter. They were beaten, tortured, raped, and endured other forms of cruel abuse. Those that dare to disobey or escaped were killed. Though, many Kitsune decided that death is a better fate.
Soon, the Kitsune clan was no more. Everyone, except the Lord's daughter, was dead. This drove her insane. She could not take it anymore. She went on a genocide then, mercilessly slaughtering the people of the Kumo clan one by one. When her rampage was over, she simply fled. Never to be seen again.
This story was now legend, yet many people believe it is true, some even wanting to find the Lord's daughter themselves. Everyone has heard this tale before. Children, teens, and adults.
Muse A, a lone traveling samurai, does not believe in the story and It'd probably take a lot to convince him. One day, during another of his travels, he comes across a strange looking forest. Upon entering, he finds out that this is not a forest, but other world entirely.
{The Shadow Realm}
The Shadow Realm is a mysterious dark world, however has exquisite beauty among anything seen. It has no suns, but two moons that revolve around the world, as if like a regular sun and moon. The day moon is much brighter than the night moon, and functions the same as the sun would, providing moonlight to support the worlds ecosystem and inhabitants, and the night moon controlling the tides of the worlds oceans, and revealing signs with each phase, providing it's people with times to harvest, hunt and so on. The day moon has no phases, but the night moon however does, having the same eight phases as the earthen moon.
Shadow realms day and night system consists of approximately a thirty hour
system, which adds fifteen hours of day, and fifteen of night, often, every two hundred and fifty years an eclipse occurs over shadow realm, and the realm is placed into darkness for sixty hours. Strange things happen during this ecliptic time, dangers strike from every point, and the inhabitants of shadow realm must remain indoors for the sixty hour period. After the eclipse comes to pass, the realm begins to normalize and the darkness quickly fades, as both moons which in the eclipse state is blood red, begin moving away from each other, returning to the normal orbital rotations.
{Plant life and Wildlife}
The most mystical of plants and formations are a magnificent sight in Shadow Realm, for their unique glow and glimmering assets, collecting the day moon light, and of the night light the forests and grassy terrains of the world with an illuminating cell structure.
And as for wildlife, most habitats are humanly, however the luminating forests hold much of the wildlife populations that change with the only two seasons Shadow Realm has, which are arctic winters and scorching summers known as Wintresus (Win-tree-sews) (Winter) and Sumfyre (S-ewm-fire) (Summer), and during Sumfyre are poor rain conditions, however with Wintresus's snow rate, makes up for the loss as most times Shadow Realm has feets of snow. Each season has thirteen months, which is twenty six months for one year to pass.
In this strange land, Muse A meets Muse B, a mysterious woman who just so happens to look like the last survivor of the Kitsune clan that Muse A has heard about so much in the stories. Perhaps the stories actually are true. Muse B wants Muse A to keep this a secret, but will allow him to visit as much as he wants.
But one day, as Muse A visits The Shadow Realm and Muse B once again after doing so many times since his discovery, he finds out a dark secret about this world.
