To tell you the truth the RP isn't doing so well, mostly my fault. College and a series of unfortunate events coupled with my own inexperience in RPs lasting more than a few weeks caused quite the damage. Still, we have enough of a community that we can keep going and by the looks of it we'll be having a reboot soon. You're welcome to join if you want :)

Hello everyone! How's it going?

I was thinking of doing one of these again sometime and the site update gave about as good an opportunity as any, so here I am. And honestly, I don't know what to say, just that I want to say something. If nothing else, then "thank you".

I've been on RPN for a couple years. I don't recall if, when I first joined there even was a follower system at the time. I came to write and share what I could create and experience worlds I never did before. And since those humble begginings doing a coupe of simple RPs with a poet in living armor and a half-vampire filling my four or five daily posts mostly one or two-liners to being, well, who I am today, I've been through much more than I'd expect two years on a forum to give me. I've been a new member, the worldspawner, the king of shameless advertising, and now the Pun Tyrant. I've tried all manner of things here on RPN, met wonderful people with all kinds of perspectives (and naturally a few less wonderful people as well, but that's life), was exposed to ideas I never so much as considered and had my name punned more times than there are Nicholas Cage movies. I've had my highs and lows like anyone else. The excitement of new possibilities, the accomplishment of truly satisfying posts and making tons of new friends, and of course the death of dozens of RPs in which I participated or which I GMed, some squirmishes with this or that person and the occasional IRL problem causing me stress.

But even though I'm such a flawed, weird person, with strange tastes, argumentative, opinionated, sometimes stubborn, freezing under stress... despite that sometimes I can look at my page and see the followers I have and see the likes I have. And I know these things don't mean anything, I'm no better for having them nor do I need them to be good. I also know everyone has their own reasons why they would like something or follow someone. Maybe it doesn't matter at all. But it makes me happy to see that, makes me proud nonetheless, makes feel like people can put their trust in me despite how much of a mess I really am.

So while a post like this once in a while to retribute that happiness you give me may be very little, I still want to make it to say "thank you". Thank you! Thank you for being there, for being awesome, for everything!
I don't know what more I can do, but I do hope this post can help brighten up people's day a little bit at least. I do take suggestions though if anyone has an idea about anything else I could do for you guys and gals :)

It's ok if ya don't know me well. I think more than a few of my followers were aquired from my daily site welcomings which means they wouldn't have more than one time in contact with me most likely... You might be one such follower. Nonetheless I do hope we can become great friends in the future if God so wills :)
