May I make a type of droid that is not canon as my character? Also, does your character have to be particularly good at fighting? I'm planning on making my character more focused on support.

Hi, you don't need a canon droid but I do require some information on it. No, you don't need to be good at fighting! I actually think it's much more interesting when you solve problems without fighting.
 
For now, yes. As for your CS, unfortunately Talos Station has already been blown up, so you might not want to still be there. If you'd like you may instead be aboard the Bloodraven flagship, The Red Scalpel, for whatever reason while our party is tractor beamed aboard.

Yes, you should definitely discuss your ideas! Otherwise you'll never get to participate in influencing how the story plays out.

Also, I'll be posting Sunday this week as usual!

Oh, and by the way, I'll be posting some time after when the Traveler lands or when The Chronicler The Chronicler makes another post. I have an idea I could do with him.
 
Oh gosh. I totally forgot about this, sorry. I feel like I've lost the edge for writing for this roleplay, but I'd hate to abandon my character or the roleplay itself.
 
Sorry, I've been pretty busy recently irl and with the site transfer I practically forgot about this! I'll try and get back to posting soon

I've noticed that tags have stopped working for some threads, may be why some people aren't answering, might try pming them directly. I had to do this for a few of my players in another thread.

Don't worry about abandoning your character or the roleplay! If you're not enjoying yourself or don't feel up to it, feel free to step out. I'd rather you be here because you'd love to be than because you feel obligated to be.

Then you should be right in their system.”

“That would mean we have to get inside their ship on foot without dying in a shootout,” he concluded grimly. Atticus tapped the side of his blaster. “I’m trusty with this, but I don’t think we’ll be able to take on all the pirates here. Let’s hope we can get them to take us as prisoners instead.”

He then realized something. “Also, I’m Atticus. What the hell are your names?”

I freely admit to finding it hard to keep track of the RPs I'm in thanks to the site change. Sorry it took me so long to reply to this one. Hope it's not dead! Very promising start, great immersive world-building and much suspense! I'm still in if others are. :)
