    With all the smart people in this country, I can't believe that no one has actually expressed how bad this is going to be.  I've been tasting ashes in my mouth since April.


    The Republicans are too busy getting dragged along by their heartstrings to take a breath and say 'hey guys, we're getting desperate, because we have another 30 to 70 years to live each, and you're basically telling us to sit down and shut up and let the future happen because we're wrong about everything, so we literally picked the only human being in the country who has agreed with us when we say we're scared and we want changes made to represent us, even though he disgusts all of us, too, because he's ridiculously incompetent.  We aren't voting for a leader, we're voting for the only person who won't ignore us.'


    And the Democrats are too busy whipping themselves up about how bad Mega-Super-Ultra-Hitler is to notice that they picked someone who's literally been waiting 'for her turn' to run the White House for 16 years, who is installed there only by the inertia of the political machine, rather than by her own internal value.  I mean, sure she's smart and has experience, but those are things you're supposed to be able to say about literally every President ever.  She's treading water against DONALD TRUMP.


    So the media has gone full-retard on how bad he is, said nothing but how good she is (and of course the counter-media does the vice-versa, but no one listens to them anyway) while we have two terrifying forces that no one has talked enough about at all this whole time: all the angry people that have never voted before which the system isn't capable of even thinking about until it happens, and the fact that we're literally being hacked by other countries.


    The good news is my country is stronger than the media or the world gives it credit for.  We're going to go drink some hemlock and then shake it off and carry on with business as usual.  See you when the shitstorm blows over. <3

    Just a note to my players - Gaelcon is Halloween weekend and I'll be spending most of the next week to get my scenarios ready.


    It wouldn't usually be this much of a problem, but I haven't been able to get them finished sooner and one is a challenge I really should not have set myself.

    Rookie mistake. You stay up and the worst you have to deal with is knights or sorcerors, but if you give them a thousand years and I guarantee someone will build pseudo-magical mecha to deal with you.

    Let them build it.~  I woke up from my last slumber and the humans had to resort to gathering hordes of demons to partner with that were much weaker than me to even slow me down.  I will say that the future shock is a little daunting though.  This modern world and it's tek no lo geeee...The only good thing about this future is parfait.
