"And now it's starting to hit me... That maybe this offer of 1 million dollars in exchange for nothing was a little too good to be true?" - Drew Gooden, "I'm Tired of Getting Scammed"
Character idea: Warlock devoted to his dark goddess not because he values or desires the power that comes with, but because he's fallen in love with her. He knows she will never change her wicked ways and that she will almost certainly never love him back, but he has come to accept that and values her anyways, and only wants the best for her. He could honestly take or leave the power he traded for, for what matters most is that he gets to see her.
Integrity is not defined by our actions when everything goes right. Instead, it is defined by how we choose to react in the face of resistance. It is defined by our lowest points.
A vital lesson of the internet:
When someone says "I don't get this/I don't understand this," it generally just means "I don't like this/I don't approve of this."
A lack of understanding implies you're still searching for answers, while disapproval is a decided stance against.
Either one is fine! But the two get confused very often in casual conversation.
Seriously the best show out there, if you ask me. Who is your favourite character?! I should hope mine is obvious ;P
