    Just a joke from previous games where our ST would mysteriously vanish prior to/just after the game started. Our being other people I usually play with prior to coming here.

    The 1-5 extra operation can drop most of the subs I think. 2-2 should be easy with some decent AA, either from carriers with fights or battleships (cough king kongou) with sanshiki/AA guns. Same with 2-3, it's not until 2-4 that the main maps get particularly hard. 2-3 in particular is good for farming subs (I-168 only) and several rare ships from boss node, as well as most of the weeklies.

    Thank you very much! Although I've never seen subs drop in 1-5. Just DD/LC. I'll try farming 2-3 for subs now that I'm at 2-4.

    @Wolf Rawrrr You must summon Brolaire to stand a chance. Also, take smough out first. Less work on you. What weapon are you using?

    I don't have a bow so taking out the giants and knight has consumed 10x the amount of time I spend on fighting to bosses, not to mention that every 3rd attempt or so I get killed by one of the giants. Just when you thought you knew the attack patterns... lol

    And of course I waste 3-5 estus to get to the boss fight, which leaves only 5. Wasted about 10 humanity on restarts, now I had enough.

    Ascended scimitar to Furysword, descended Occult club I found down to +5 divine, now going to clear out the Catacombs to the Rite of Kindling. After some grinding in the Painted World I'll max kindle main Anor Londo bonfire and deal with the boss fight.

    I did not have this much trouble on my first playthrough. Played a clueless Knight but was awesome when you remember I had no idea what or how I was doing :)

    Pinwheel head hunting eh? Hence "most of his attacks" for Orns. Once I got hit attack pattern down it was flip in and quick stab, flip out. Continue until I chipped his health off. I wish you the best of luck killing the pair!
