Of course I summon Solaire, even though it's annoying to have to kill the two giants in the cathedral plus the knight archer.

I am using a +9 Scimitar.

If you have an upgraded bow and poison arrows you can cheese the giants to death from the stairs after killing the archer. Headshots until poison, then spam normal arrows. Don't relent or they'll heal.

Pyromancy isn't a good option for this fight given how you need to be quick on your feet. For Super luigi, try using the pillars as shields for range. Usually safest to be under orn's feet for most of his skills. Still to be one hit killed...normal attacks or specials?

Smough oneshot me with his powered up electric ram attack. My vitality is still 10, I didn't upgrade it yet on this playthrough.

Afterwards I killed Smough first, but Ornstein can oneshot me too with him ground slam electric attack so it's not exactly safe to be close to him lol. Dunno which is worse.
