To move this along faster and bring our friends connected to tech companies we're going to timeskip to the first mission after this next post.

DankWaffles DankWaffles you'll understand what I mean after Impost but in the timeskip it will be covered That Paris passed his evaluation the second time around

Field Marshall Field Marshall I'm not sure how I could jump into the raid, I thought someone was going to try and recruit Matt like the others I've been seeing. His father would make it hard for him to sneak out without his permission.

Maybe his father has his hands full with he aftermath and little Matt used his powers to shrink and escape. SHIELD isn't going to purposely recruit a kid who's age is on the Clock unless under special circumstances.

The Hand aren't goons with guns and trucks they are Ninja with magic. They also wouldn't hit Pym Tech again and are instead going to attack Drake's Company.

Sorry, I read that only some of them have magic, I was thinking more of a minor heist, not as important. But Matt isn't going to escape unless it's a good reason. S.H.I.E.L.D. might go to Pym Tech to investigate the robberies but find Matt there, that's my best idea, either way I'll probably need another person to get him out there.

No, like I said, unless it's a good reason. As in he doesn't want to get in trouble with his father.
If Field Marshall Field Marshall says yes... You could always change your character's age....

I mean... SHIELD wouldn't recruit someone so young...

Spiderman always wanted to be apart of the Avengers, but he was too young. Marvel tried to stay away from young heroes and villains because they didn't want to encourage young children or young adults to act out like the heroes in their comics from way back when. Thus why Bucky died in 1942 in Captain America. Bucky was like 12 or 13 i think in the comics and he wasn't even part of the military. He was also the character that made Captain America look good. When Steve couldn't kill a villain because he believed in justice so much, Bucky was there to make that kill.

When Bucky died, Cap blamed himself... Bucky was young.. Too young to even be apart of war. They were sending out a message about war.... To send such young lives into something so serious... It would forever haunt them. Just like Bucky did in Captain America. Cap never took on another partner. He felt that their lives were in his hands and care... He did not want for another person to die on his watch.

There are three no no's in comics. Never bring back Bucky (they did in 2005), Never bring back Jason Todd... (B52's..... The fans actually voted for him to die. They asked for readers to vote is Jason and his mom should die... Thus why he was killed off by the Joker... But Jason Todd was also a really bad Robin... He never listened, did what he wanted and disrespected Bruce countless of times. He was the worst Robin in my eyes.) And let's not forget, Ben Parker.....(They didn't really bring him back to life.... They kind of loop holed the whole thing by bringing him in from another dimension/alternate universe.)

This is a strong reason why SHIELD would not recruit your character. I can see this rp plot being very believable in the Marvel Universe due to the fact that they are not making the new recruits the actual 'Avengers' just yet. They are training them in hopes they could become the next Avengers. Even with missions and helping out with disasters... This is good training for the real deal.

So in a smaller sense.... it would just be easier for you and your character to join in if they were a bit older. (And yes we all know Marvel has grown and has introduces even younger characters, but they still limit who goes on missions and who is an active character in the series.)

Sorry if this is too much.... I was just trying to explain why it would benefit your character if he was a little bit older.......

I disagree. He's mature enough, I'm just saying you'll have to bring the plot to him for him to come out. There's a character who's 13 here, that's just one year older.

Okay, fine, I'll try to work something out. I didn't want to start drama, I was hoping someone would be creative about it. Sorry if I offended anyone.
It doesn't offend anyone(I think). It just makes it difficult to involve your character in the plot because you make it difficult.

You're not offending anyone. I was just voicing an opinion that the age of your character seems to be an issue. It would just be easier to change the age and let SHIELD recruit him.

Did you want to change your last post or just kind of flow with it for now?
Oh, what'll happen is once everyone ships out there will be something that happens which will make him disappear. I had the plan to make Rand disappear when I made that post.

Hello! I'm was just wondering if the RP is still accepting new people. I posted a character sheet, because the IC thread says you're stil accepting (:
