As the Ice broke, John knew he was in for a few weeks of recovery from broken bones, if not death. He yelled as he fell, but then he was caught by Arya, who lowered him to the ground, much to his surprise and relief. Sapphira could not save him from such a fall without injury.

He kissed the ground as he jumped down on it. "I'll never take walking for granted again."

Sapphira's eyes were ablaze with fury towards Arya. She started growing. "YOU ALMOST KILLED MY DADDY!! I'LL RIP YOU TO SHREDS!!!" She grew to about the size as Arya just was and let out a thunderous roar. "Sapphira! Stop!" Sapphira wasn't listening. She kept growing until she reached the size of a hotel. Arya was intimidating enough as a dragon half-breed. An enraged pure-bred dragon was about as close to worse case scenario as one could get. "Sapphira! Stop this madness!" Still nothing. Sapphira was livid and definitely losing control of herself. Sapphira really liked Arya. The second person she ever met and talked to. That was one thing that made her so angry. Someone she was very fond of almost killed her father. It was hurt rage. She crystallized ice about her to form her Ice Armor. She charged up giant all of Ice magic in her mouth and aimed right at Arya..........and anyone in the area.


"SAPPHIRA!! I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS SHIT!!" Her father's words struck right into her brain and she stopped and looked down. John was right there standing with them, his eyes red. "Whisper," she said in shame. John had to use Whisper to prevent Arya's death, and John, Dante's, and the townspeople's deaths a second time, this time at the hands of an almost out of control Sapphira. Her own father, who she promised to protect, almost killed for a second time. She not only disobeyed him the first few times he yelled at her. She honestly didn't know which hurt her the worst, the fact that she almost killed him, or the fact that she almost did it for revenge against Arya. She completely disregarded his entire life for revenge over his life. How stupid could she be?

She began to shrink, but before she finished completely, she flew up into the clouds. An act of absolute heartbreaking shame.

He had to run over to confront Sapphira. He wasn't worried right now about where Sapphira went. He walked back over to Arya and Dante. "Jesus Christ. This has been a day." he said with a sigh. "We've saved a town, destroyed it, then saved it before it was destroyed a second time. I haven't even eaten, and Sapphira used a lot of my mana to grow." His stomach howled. He wasn't injured. Just tired. It felt like his stomach was imploding.

Where did Sapphira go? It made him even more nauseous as he thought about her not coming back. He needed to sleep, to eat, to find Sapphira, to bury these people and he didn't even know which one took priority in his mind. He was conflicted
