Jae began to follow behind her with his hand on his pockets while trying to find a good answer. "Who am I? What am I? What am I doing in this place?" He tilted his to the side trying to think up of a good answer. He knew what he was and who he was but he didn't know what he was doing here, sure it could help him control his power or teach him about humanity new laws. He wanted to see what was new in this world. "Who am I? I am Jae, real name will be kept in secret for now." Another reason why he didn't answer was because he hadn't even considered answering her what his name was. "What am I? That's a hard questions to answer, my kind has been given so many names that I wonder what we are called now." He called had said that he was a vampire right away but sometimes hinting the answer was better than answer, the answer could always be there. "What does your mind think I am?" Simple but a effective way to get some information from her. "What am I doing here? It depends, I could be here to make friends or I could be here to control my powers or I could be here to learn about is up with this new world that seems to not know about us *supernatural* as some call us, or maybe I'm just here because I got lost on the road of life?" Okay that last answer wasn't completely true but it just felt right saying it.

I was damned tired to do anything at the time. I was afraid my illusion magic was drained from resisting the temptations Selene was trying to unlock. So I decided to go with the flow. As she whispered those words to me, I decided to "drop the act." Literally and figuratively. My mirror fell onto the floor; shattered and glass all over the floor.

I'd walk over to Selene. I'd bow my head as a sign of respect towards her. I'd let my temptations take over my decisions. I felt as if a weight was taken off my back. "S-Selene...," the words were forced out of me. "I refuse to do any magic trick which may implicate your confidence about your abilities," I'd say. In the back of my mind, I could see myself grinning. No need to show off my powers to get recognition on how well I can preform.

I'd look right back up at her, this time it was me who was smiling comely. I'd caress her cheek for a while. I found it to be soft and cushiony. "Forgive me for the insolence I have showed you. How rude of me to let you put actual effort into getting me to follow your commands," I'd say sincerely. I'd inch closer to her, "I suppose I should take responsibility for the trouble I caused." Wrapping my arms around her, I'd go in for a kiss. It wasn't a peck or an innocent one. It was a full-on French Kiss. I would then leave whatever she will do to me, to be whatever it may be.

Cora looked at the books on the floor carefully and picked up one by her foot "Im Cora ravencroft, its hard to explain how im half ghost as i dont even know myself" She said handing the book back to Arion. Cora looked towards the girl and thought about an aswer to her question "Well it feels like... I guess normal but no breathing or human fuctions" She said still thinking as she re opened her book to read and get her answer together.

Yoko was uncomfortable, anyone who looked at him could tell. He had been sat right in the middle of a row of students to listen to the headmaster, but all he could concentrate on was a way to get outside. He didn't do crowds, especially not crowds of people he didn't know. When it seemed like the headmaster was about to close out her speech, Yoko inwardly jumped for joy, perhaps he'd be allowed to leave. His ears - that he had decided to hide under a knit head wrap he had with him nearly all the time - were shifting uncomfortably in anticipation.

It was true, everything around him sounded muffled, but he didn't mind and in fact, preferred it that way. As soon as the headmaster did finish, and they were allowed to leave, Yoko then realized he had a new predicament on his hands. As all the other students turned and began to exit the auditorium, he was being surrounded. In a panic he hit the floor and scrambled to a far wall which he hugged to exit out the back.

Once he was by himself and everything was much quieter, he reached into the pocket of his large sweater and pulled out the map he had been given. He scratched his leg that was itching slightly due to the dark tights he had on underneath his shorts. After looking over the map, and looking over it again, he had a clear idea of where he wished to go.

It was a bit of a walk, but he made it to the library on campus and made his way to the back aisles to calm himself down. He sat down and began to think, he wanted to take his time before trying to talk to anyone. He wasn't looking forward to it, but he knew he couldn't spend the entirety of the year ducking and dodging everyone, as much as he wanted to.

He gave a defeated sigh as he let his head hit his knees.

Matsuo listened to the head mistresses go over the rules of the schools and other things. After he was done, he pulled his dorm keys from his pocket and glanced at them. " So..these keys unlock the door to these dorm places. I suppose we are to stay here while we attend this school. This world is very different indeed. Our school wasn't anything like this. " The tall boy stood to his feet and was very lost. How was he going to find his room? He didn't know a thing about this place. There was a group of kids near by..maybe they knew something?

" Excuse me ladies and gentlemen, my name is Matsuo and I'm not very familiar about..this school place. Would you mind showing me the dorms?" At first, they had a rather confused look on his face, but the leader of the group smirked." Of course we do! Follow us ok?" Matsuo watched as the group walked ahead of him and followed close behind.

Soon enough they made it to the back of the school, where large trash cans and dumpsters laid." See that large thing there. If you sit in its it will take you to the dorms? " the group behind him started to giggle. Matsuo made a face and flatten his ears some

" it reeks..but if you so~ thank to for the help." Matsuo climbed into dumpster and sat there with such a happy look on his face. The group of kids started to snap pictures of him

Upon hearing Saen's comment and seeing her shade change to red, Vivian too went bright red with embarrassment and put a hand behind her head trying to play it off with a smile and a faint forced giggle "w-what're you talking ab-bout..." She couldn't even look Saen in the face. "I didn't do...It's not what you think..." She was making it worse with each word, struggling but trying relentlessly to justify herself. Eventually she just sighed and looked at the ground in defeat "Yeah...sorry...".

She jumped a little at the sound of glass breaking, her eyes followed the sound and she saw Lorenzo extremely close to Selene. Too close. Then he reached for her cheek, Vivian's eyes opened wide in disbelief- she knew exactly what was going to happen next. Her clenched fists trembled with anger as she watched Lorenzo kiss Selene- passionately. Her eyes showed nothing but wrath and occasionally twitched a little, her breathing getting heavier whilst a scowl grew on her face. Her fingers got into position to commence a click to set Lorenzo aflame, but she remembered something from earlier: "No magic can be used to hurt another student unless you are inside the cage." Vivian sighed and muttered something offensive under her breath (quiet but she made sure Lorenzo heard her), she released the tension in her hand by performing a click and releasing a small blast of fire at the ground, harming no one. Vivian walked away swiftly and bitterly straight to her room, she wanted to hurt Lorenzo but didn't want to cause any trouble on the first day.

Whilst walking up the stairs Vivian noticed her uncontrollable anger at what she had just witnessed seemed to dissipate as she got further away from the two, and it was completely gone by the time she had gotten to the fourth floor- two whole floors above them. Wow, Why was I so mad about that? I barely even know that Selene girl and I was ready to burn someone up over jealousy for her Vivian thought, she quickly dismissed it-not knowing what had caused her to become so jealous.

"Oh well" she said aloud entering her room and getting some money out of her luggage to purchase food, although when she was about to leave her room for the café she noticed her bed, it looked so soft. Oh great...that impossible choice between doing nothing and eating again...well my bed is closer she thought before crawling into her bed and resting a little just looking at the ceiling idly and thinking about everyone she'd met so far.

"Arion, and Cora" Eshreal said to herself so she can remember the names more easily, they really did roll off the tongue together. "Necromancy? with rituals and the like? sounds troublesome" She imagined about pentagrams writen in blood and seances. "no breathing or human functions..." she looked at the half phantom as if studying her physiology, she definitely looks like a human female but she inhibits traits that of a ghost. She is able to pick things up... "Do you mind if i preform an operation on you sometime soon? we'll both get to know how your body works better." Her tone had switched from light to analytical, after all, you dont see a half ghost everyday! perhaps there is a special gene that allows her to do all these supernatural abilities, a special organ that allows her to switch at will! the possibilities of what she can do with such a unusual trait!

Arion was torn from his thoughts about Cora and her lifestyle when Eashreal mentioned something about an operation. He narrowed his eyes on the other girl. There was no way he was letting her snag his first ghost away! He got in a more aggressive position like he was getting ready to fight. His eyes shined bring green for just a second while he spoke "Back off! I found her first so she's my test subject, not yours!" he blurted out on impulse. The things he could learn from just examining a half-ghost made it priceless. "You said you were a Doctor right? Stick to your physical bodies and I'll deal with the spirits."

Selene giggled with satisfaction once she realized Lorenzo's willpower shattered as he dropped his mirror and stared at her with his sly confidence replaced with pure infatuation. "I'm sure your magic is good enough," she replied, "It looks like it's still working!" She whispered two incantations: one to telekinetically pick up a shard of the mirror and place it in front of his face and the other to cast an illusion of the two kissing within its broken frame.

Lorenzo's infatuation was only confirmed as he embraced Selene once again and started making out with a fiery passion, much more intensely than that little tease earlier. Vivian was already running upstairs in frustration, leaving the two of them alone. Selene returned the favor for a little while, sensually pressing his body against the wall and giving his tongue all the pleasure it wanted. A willing kiss this passionate was laced with even more powerful magic, causing him to stay infatuated with her for even longer than usual.

She ended abruptly, wanting to leave something more to be desired. "You're a good kisser," she replied with a smile. "But not right now. How about we go get settled in our rooms? I'm sure we can have another visit some other time." Selene looked around the room, noticing that Vivian was most certainly gone. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to do that right out in the open, although Lorenzo did start it. She also noticed that Vivian had left her remaining to bags behind.

"Oh, and one more thing?" Selene pleaded, pointing towards her luggage. "Would you carry those for me?"

"Well, I don't really have much better an answer than you," Jane mused as she continued through the forest. "My name's actually Jane. Wonder if people will get those names confused. Well, at least I think it is... no, I've said too much." she reminded herself that there was still a chance, however small, that revealing her true identity here could end in disaster.

"Well, if I had to guess, you might have to be the same thing as me. You seem really fast and strong, and to be honest I didn't even know that other kinds of superhumans even existed until I got this letter. And what exactly I am I don't wanna tell, you, because it could be really dangerous. Although to be fair, not telling anyone who I am could also be dangerous. I'm living on the edge either way, does it really matter?" She laughed under her breath at how crazy her logic really was.

At this point they had reached the dormitory, and Jane gasped at how impressive it really was even from behind. Maybe she really wouldn't mind living here, even with teachers telling her what to do every few minutes. It sure would beat living on the streets like she had her whole remembered life. At least until she craved some adventure again. But now, this wasn't far from what she wanted. "Forget learning anything," she said to Jae once they'd reached the back of the building. "I'm just glad I've got a place to live without people trying to kill me every other day."

Jane spotted another boy behind the building, apparently trying to dumpster dive. From what she could tell, some other kids had convinced him that the dumpster was somehow the entrance to the dorm. Did everyone here have a sense of direction this terrible? It seemed like both the guys she'd seen so far couldn't find their way out of a paper bag. "You need help, dude?" Jane announced as she approached him. "I heard the entrance is in a magical place called 'the other side of the building'".​

I was speechless when it came to the experience I had with Selene. It was like as if I was on cloud nine! Yet I felt as if I were starting to be attatched to strings, like a puppet to their master. If this is what love feels like, I never want it to end.

She asked me if she needed help with her luggage. "No need," I'd say automatically in response to her question. It was high time that I started using my own magic. With a wave of a hand, a tiny bolt of lightning came down upon our luggages. Once the smoke cleared, the baggages disappeared. "Lightning-fast teleportation, eh?" I'd say. "It should be in your room, 401B, I beleive. Mine should be in my room, 301B," I affirm. I knew because she mentioned earlier about her room, so it was redundant to ask again.

"Would you like me to take care of your transportation? I may be able to carry you to your room," I'd offer. Bowing carefully towards her. The magic she used on me was potent, and it made me like a servant. "For someone of your importance, it is imperitive that you mustn't waste your energy on mundane things such as walking," I'd continue.

What am I doing? I'd ask in the back of my mind. Her words echo through my mind, "Don't disappoint me," and, "What could you have,' plus "No girl quite like me." Oh right. She likes me! She even ended off that kiss to pull me back in. I'd think to myself.

I would hold out my arms to her. Waiting for her to respond. "The only reason I live now is to serve you, as no other fate is worthwhile for one such as I," I'd say. Subconsciously, this is how I would egg her on.

Eshreal jumped when Arion spoke out against her request, did she do something wrong? "uh i didnt mean anything by it!" She held her stitched up hands up in defense. "i was just curious about her... and its not like shes a full spirit." Esther looked at the half phantom as if asking for her to help. This Arion seemed unstable and she wasnt sure what to do, perhaps she can use a anesthetic on him if he tried something but she wasnt sure that was necessarily in the rules or not.

Just as Jae was about to follow Jane to where the other kid in the dumpsters was at, a slight scent caught his attention that he literally froze. His eyes started to dilate as he started smelling the faint smell of blood. "Where does thee scent come from?" That was all Jae could say to himself. He had to concentrate really hard but whenever he closed his eyes to try to find the scent, the scent of the other creatures got in the way. "I must find it." He was about to take a step forward before he froze and smelled a smell that he hadn't smelled before he went into seclusion. "DHAMPIR? WHAT THE HELL IS IT DOING HERE? WHY WASN'T IT KILLED LIKE THE REST?" Those were the thoughts that came into his head. He didn't know why, but every step he took, the scent became either stronger or vanished, it was like it was hiding, but you couldn't hide from Jack Alexander Evan, no one could back then and no one will now. Okay so he was overreacting on the last part but he at least had to question why one of them was here.

Whilst relaxing on the couch, leaning her head backwards slowly drifting off to fall asleep. That is until a slight scent caught her attention, it was moving fast and with all the other scents in the dorm’s themselves it was very hard to follow. She had only ever come across that smell once in her life A pureblood?! Here? Her first thought was maybe her father was at the school but it was daylight outside and that made it practically impossible for him to move around, she shook the thought out of her head So there is a pureblood at this school as well She was still trying to get a complete hold of where the scent exactly was but it was still moving and it was cutting in and out. Occasionally mixing with all the other scents with in the building, it was starting to annoy her. She never learnt how to track – she never needed to learn her father hunted and never bothered to teach her. She always wished to learn though.

"That's amazing!" said Selene as Lorenzo caused her bags to vanish in a flash of lightning. She had been trying teleportation magic on her own recently, rather unsuccessfully, so it was impressive to see someone actually succeed at it. "And yes, it would be my pleasure for you to transport me. Just please make sure you end up outside my room rather than in it. For now, at least. I'm sure I can let you in sometime if you'd like."

Selene leaped into Lorenzo's arms with a look of joy upon her face. There were few things that pleased her more than seeing men becoming willing servants to her charms, and there was a chance, however small, that Lorenzo could end up being even more than that. "Take me away!" she shouted playfully.

The kid in the dumpster was just beginning to climb out when Jae started to go ballistic over something Jane had no clue what it could be. She had no idea what a "dhampir" was, but it obviously wasn't something that he liked. Actually, it sounded an awful lot like "vampire"... were there vampires at this school? That could make sense, even though Jane had no idea they were real.

Wait a minute, Jane thought to herself. As Jae was shouting with his mouth wide open, Jane got a clear look at his teeth through her superhuman time senses. And sure enough, his canines were long and pointed. Combined with his unnaturally pale skin and orange eyes, she concluded that he must be a vampire. She stood in amazement for a moment, but not for so long that she couldn't respond before Jae went too far. "Dude, what's wrong?" she asked him in confusion. "What's a 'dhampir' and what's so bad about it?"​

As he let the comforting silence of the library surround him, Yoko began to think. It was a bad habit of his, because once he started, he could never really stop. He thought of his mother, her tear-streaked face as she hugged him goodbye, the distinct but hidden fear in her eyes as she hoped he would be okay by himself. She was so caring and selfless, she wasn't even concerned with her own well being. God! If only his father hadn't left and died, if only the rest of their family had actually cared about his mother and him, if only he'd been less of a burden on his mother...Yoko then heard a voice that broke into his inner ramblings, he wiped his eyes realizing that he had started to cry.

Sniffling a bit, he stood up and looked around. Finally having enough, Yoko snatched his head wrap off, freeing his large feline ears. He shuddered at the cool air that hit them, the ears jostling and twitching as they got used to not being held down again. As his ears stopped twitching, Yoko began to observe his surroundings. He wanted to stop thinking of his mother that he missed too much to bear, so investigating the noise he heard would have to suffice as a distraction.

Yoko hugged the bookshelf in front of him and looked up, he was just over five feet and not nearly six feet, but he was one hell of a climber. He leaped, gripping the top of the tall bookshelf and hauled his light body up to climb up on top of it. He began scanning the area and looking and listening with his large and alert ears for the source of the noise.

As Selene jumped into my arms, I'd be carrying her all the way to the 4th floor. Since my magic abilities were practically drained from resisting earlier and the teleportation spell I'd pull off, it was a slow walk. However, slowly was the way to get back control of my own actions.

I'd keep acting under the influence of her. Making decisions that seem like I was in love. Using my fire arts on myself to make my cheeks hot enough to make it look like I was blushing. I found out that by acting how she would want me to act, I suppose the charms would be rendered useless in my eyes.

Yet, I actually liked this. Sure I was a servant, but aren't all men servants to their women? Maybe this love she created turned out to be more genuine. She definitely didn't command me to kiss her, I did it all on my own. Do I love her? Or is it the magic that makes me in love. No matter, I wouldn't mind being a slave if she was my master.

Once we reached the room, I'd gently put her down on her feet once more. Willingly I asked, "Would you like asisstance settling in? Do you need anything more of me?" Thanks to the long time I took to walk, and the willingness to comply, I felt as if I could finally control myself once more. I asked her another round questions, "...Am I just a servant to you? Or am I something more? I can assure you this isn't the magic talking but... I admit I liked serving you and... 'pleasing,' you as well." I'd turn my head to the side, awaiting any punishment she might deal out on me for saying such foolish words.

Cora watched the 2 carefully, and stood up to stop both of the "Whoa! I am nobodys test subject!" She said slightly angry and annoyed that people wanted to open her up or experiment on her. She took her book and began to walk away from the others stomping slighy as she pushed open the door leading to the main hallway and towards the dorms.

Cora made her way to her dorm walking past other students till she reached her room, unlocking the door she floated in and dropped her books on a table. Cora sighed and looked out the window watching the trees sway in the wind and small animals run around the outer world. It reminded her of home.

Turning around she noticed someone on the couch and let out a little yelp and jumped slightly.

Jae would had turned to look at Jane, but he was still trying to find the location of the scent. Back when he was just starting as a youngling, Dhampirs were creatures that could be considered taboo. He had to blink once he caught the scent fully and turned to Jane. "Deal with the Dumpster diver, I have something important to do." He sighed before he started taking steps inside the dorm, searching for where the scent got stronger. He was having a hard time finding it because of his lack of sense of direction, but he was following his instinct this time. "Where are you?" He whispered.

Being so distracted with that scent that was moving around earlier Lyra hadn’t even noticed Cora…. float in. She heard a yelp coming from Cora which grabbed her attention and distracted her from the scent she had caught. It had seemed like Cora hadn’t noticed Lyra sitting on the couch, which made her chuckle slightly. She stood up and faced Cora “Hello, my name is Lyra” she said with a smile “Looks like we’re roommates” she continued. Lyra hadn’t noticed Cora was floating until she had a proper look at her “Um, if you don’t mind me asking but what are you?” Was that rude of her to ask? She was generally curious and hoped Cora wouldn’t mind her asking.

She caught the scent again, this time moving a lot faster. It sent a chill up her spine, who were they and where were they. She was confused and curious at the same time, another vampire here in this school made Lyra curious about them. What were they like? Could they help her maybe control most of her vampire side? Not to mention all the question she had for them.

The dorm room was comfortable, Saen had to credit the school for that. The kind of armchairs that one could sink into and not be found for days, a full kitchen, and a big-screen TV. She went to check her personal room, and found a massive bed, as well as the heating lamp she had requested. That was good; she'd worried about the school ignoring her special needs. Returning to the common room, the lamia coiled herself on the couch. "So, what sort of magic do you practice?"

"Out of magic?" Selene asked as Lorenzo began to carry her upstairs, struggling but clearly enjoying it. "You don't have to walk either. I'll give us a lift." She snapped her fingers and spoke an incantation, and the two began to rise off the ground in each other's arms, levitating slowly towards floor three. She embraced Lorenzo tightly and suggestively as they spun in circles in midair. They finally arrived at Lorenzo's room, gently settling down on the floor with adoration in their eyes.

"No, your service for now is done," she replied, smiling. "And yes... you are already more than a servant to me. l don't carry my servants in my arms. We can meet again whenever you want. I won't forget you, I promise." She handed Lorenzo a shard of his broken mirror, enchanted to display an animated likeness of Selene within its reflection. In her other hand was a shard with a similar image of Lorenzo.

"Goodbye for now?" she asked longingly, trying to deliver the message that she wanted to come back as well. She blew him one last kiss, creating the illusion of a tiny pink heart with silver edges, before beginning to turn towards the staircase to the fourth floor.

Jane was still very confused about what Jae was doing. It made sense that some vampires didn't like other vampires, but this seemed a little extreme, especially since he was acting pretty calmly earlier. Although it would be pretty fun to have rivalries like that, at least once she had just a bit of understanding of them.

As Jae ran into the building, Jane found herself left with only the kid in the dumpster, who still wasn't making many signs of movement. "You alive in there?" she asked, tugging at his only visible foot. "Or did those guys just try to hide a body here? Because if they did, they did a pretty terrible job at it."​

Cora smiled slightly when the girl known as Lyra introduced herself "I am Cora Ravencroft, Half mortal half ghost" She said polietly and bowed slightly in respect. "Its nice to meet you Lyra, I hope we get along." She offered her hand to the other. Though Cora had been scared a few moments ago she felt more comfortable here then in the library with the necromancer and the doctor. She noticed a bit of unease in her roomate and looked worried towards her "is there something wrong? If there us could i help you?" She asked quietly.

Looking around the room cora floated over to her bed after a while of standing with her roomate. She opened the small backpack on the bed she pulled out a photo frame and a candle, placing the on the bedside and a old banner from the manor. She hung it above her bed and sat back down admiring the room and the veiw.

Hearing yet another voice, Yoko stood from his crouch and then jumped from bookcase to bookcase towards the entrance. Each time he hit another bookcase, the large thing would barely wobble, and no books fell from their rightful place, which Yoko was entirely grateful for. As he began to approach the front of the library, he realized that there was a smile on his face. He laughed softly, when had been the last time he had been allowed this type of freedom? He could not remember.

He stopped jumping and crouched down once more as he noticed the large library door was ajar, turning his head, he saw two figures standing around. He could not tell what they were at a glance, for he had not been educated in what creatures like him would look like. He'd rather not assume, so he left it up to introductions to do the educating for him.

But being seen up here...would be awkward. He looked for a way to climb down that wouldn't disturb any of the books on the shelves below him.

Arion quickly turned towards Cora to watch her leave the library. "Hey wait!" he argued but it fell on deaf ears as she simply left anyway. Groaning he dropped the book she handed to him on the ground and took her seat. "What's so bad about being a test subject?" he mumbled then looked across the table at Eshreal with an annoyed look. "I blame you for this, now I have to find a way to get her to agree..." he said while leaning his elbow on the table and rubbing his head. Or does she have to agree? Ehh, it's probably better that she does.

Lyra took Cora’s hand and smiled “I hope so too” letting go of Cora’s hand after she asked what was wrong “Well for a while now there’s this scent that has been bothering me, it’s moving around too quickly for me to pin point where it is” she realized how that might’ve sounded to Cora, “Sorry I should explain” she said “I’m a Dhampir, half vampire half human” she hoped this helped Cora with any questions she may have “But it’s perfectly fine, nothing to worry about” she smiled. This was Lyra’s problem she didn’t want someone possibly getting hurt over something that she could deal with on her own. “Oh! If you would like I could help you move your stuff in” she offered gesturing to one of the free rooms within the dorm, whether she took the offer was up to Cora. Occasionally Lyra still caught the scent of the pureblood running around still curious about what they were doing, hopefully they weren’t causing a ruckus with in the building.
