I'm prepared to fuck up this roleplay with fourth-wall braking lines like : "your character is clihé" or, "I can't see you, you're one dimensional" or even "I've heard this dialogue a million times before." Ooh, also "I'll be calling you Mary Sue from now on."

Holy crap, you actually got accepted! Judging from the character thread, dear God that RP has some of the worst characters I've seen on this site in a while. It goes to show what happens when you have such a generic premise and minimalistic character sheet, and obviously don't give a shit about who joins; you just pander to the lowest common denominator on this whole site.On that note, it would actually be pretty funny to bombard that RP en masse with intentionally cliche'd and horribly written characters. They would probably fit right in.

Naturally, she is astoundingly beautiful, but is completely unaware of this blessing or believes the opposite and has some mix of low self esteem and depression. Her life changes after a chance encounter with the town's resident chain-smokin', fist-fightin' "bad boy". Channeling Wade Walker, he's a lascivious lout that hides a broken heart that pines for love and understanding underneath his raging libido.

I'm a big fan of the "friendly giant" cliche'. It's been overdone to hell and back, but I still enjoy those character and I think it's acceptable if done properly.

It's ok to use a few cliches. But if you use more than 1-2 for a character and it's really obvious then you need your head examined. Unless your new to RP. Than you have a 6 month mercy rule.

-People who just won't understand that katana's are infact NOT the best sword in history. Infact it is pretty weak against other historical swords. since armour is a thing that existed.
-(i use this one every once in a while because love this one) the survivalist Russian, because both fit perfectly. Also works.with Canadian.
- People who use nothing but anime things for their apparence..

You do have to admit though, if a Katana slices someone unarmored, you can expect limbs to fly. And then you have the Nodachi, hoo boy may God have mercy on anyone who becomes the victim of THAT blade.

I feel like everything's been done before. I personally enjoy a solid RP with cliches than something that tries to be completely original which I feel like it usually turns into A) something so complicated that most people can't follow or B) a cliche itself lol.
That being said, I'm usually not feeling any high school roleplays because well, it's kinda like roleplaying a sitcom life which I'm not into haha.
