First ever anime was probably Pokemon, got hooked to it instantly. Then it was digimon (because they sounded similiar) and after I watched all the Dragon Ball episodes in a couple of sittings (The power of the RIGHT ARROW)

Naruto, and when I was like 7. My clearest memory of living in North Carolina was sitting on the floor watching Naruto with my dad nearby and my mom in the kitchen. I wasn't quite a smart kid so I never could follow the plots of shows easily. Instead I just loved the colors, especially Sakura's hair. Going back to the anime about six years later was like a blast from the past but I think I appreciated understanding it more when I was older.

Woahhh, all of these bring back so many memories. I also feel old af.
But, my first anime I can remember is the original Sailor Moon series. I remember dancing around at my grandpa's house singing the theme song and giggling. The next one I remember was shown to me by my older cousin and that is Inuyasha. Inuyasha is still my favorite anime and he was also my first crush. I'll throw in Case Closed and Dragon Ball Z because I remember watching those too.
Because of these, I feel like an old otaku but I'm getting with the times!
