Quinton followed shortly after Vivi had stepped out of the room. Before he closed the door he opened the palm of his hand and the light from the room's light sources came to his hands with impressive speed in the shape of ghostly, bright white orbs. They hovered around his hand before he pulled out a very small metal box and popped open the lid, letting the light orbs squeeze themselves in there before he snapped it shut. He put the small box back into his pocket and stepped outside the room, shutting the door and letting it lock. He turned to Emmi. "We should go now."

Gary waved goodbye to Claire as she slipped away, back into her dorm. 'What a pleasant girl,' he thought to himself. As uncomfortable as he had been before, when she first walked up, now he was actually sad that she had left. His little stretch of hallway infront of the billboard felt so empty and lonely now.

After a moment Gary started off towards the cafeteria. As he walked he was still thinking about his conversation with Claire and about the jolt of cold he had felt when their hands had touched a second ago. He wasn't sure what it was but he assumed it was somehow related to her powers.

Once at the cafeteria he got a tray of food, found a seat in a isolated corner and started in on his food. He watched other students come and go and interact with eachother wondering how many of them he would become friends with in the following days.

Yvette turned around and narrowed her eyes. The piercing red gaze of death...not there yet but still scary. "What are you rambling on about?" Her eyes were filled with both irritation and blind rage, that Levia was both upset and that all the help they got was just some rambling from an ADHD case. Before Yvette could say anything, Levia grabbed the older girl's hand and walked out of the bathroom, closing her eyes and still trying not to cry. "Levia, where are we going? Hey, wait!" Yvette glared at Echo once more, grabbing the door frame with enough force to actually dent it with her hands. "You're lucky this time, cupcake."

Yvette took over and broke into a sprint, holding Levia under her cloak. She continued running blindly down the hall when she ended up slamming into a boy when he was apparently looking back for someone. Yvette turned onto her back as she fell and slid several feet, hitting her head hard on the wall with a sickening 'crack.' Yvette felt behind her head and pulled out a hand, drenched in her blood, before looking up at the boy. "Sorry. Completely my bad." Levia stuck her head out of the jacket and looked around randomly. "Hi."

Vivian stopped and looked down at the person that ran into him. "No, no, it's my fault I should have watched where I was-- Fuck, is that blood? Do you need a nurse?" He rushed to the girl and tried to assess the damage. "Ouch. That must've hurt. I'm sorry, I really should have known to look ahead." (gonna be afk for a bit, sorry!)

Echo sighed in defeat, moving away from the seemingly bipolar person. He wings fluttered in distress, as though they wanted to help. But they are wings, nothing they can really do about that... So she moved to a corner, only to find Gary. "Oh, um, hello! I'm Echo! Nice to meet you! Are you excited for the school year? I bet it'll be-" She cut herself off, realizing she was rambling.

Gary watched as a small girl with wings approached. She didn't seem to notice him until she arrived at his table. He half expected her to go find somewhere else to sit once she noticed he was there (that was how he was accustomed to being treated before arriving at Sky High) but instead she greeted him and introduced herself.

Gary wanted to greet her back but he really had been hungry and at that moment his mouth was stuffed with quite a bit of food. Far to much to talk with. A few silent awkward moments passed as he diligently chewed his food, forced it down, coughed a few times, almost choking, and then recovered. "Hey," he said finally. "I'm Gary. I think I'm more nervous then excited to be honest."

He'd seen her in the hallway earlier. He'd taken note of her wings. It wasn't every day you saw someone rocking a pair of wings after all... well at Sky high he supposed it would be everyday. He tried not stare but they kept catching his eye. He could tell from her small, slight build that they weren't just for show. "So you're a flyer? That must be really fun."

Claire was now busy working and doing some chores around her dorm, Music was blasting as she sang along and picked up some picture frames she didn't unpack yet. "You fell asleep in my car, I drove the whole time. But that's okay I'll just avoid the holes so you sleep fine." She sang out while putting some picture frames on her mantelpiece. Smiling and humming, she tided up her kitchen, almost dropping a few plates in the process cause of her dancing. "Sometimes you got to bleed to know oh! That you're alive and have a so-soul. But takes someone to come around and show you how, she's a tear in my heart!" The French redhead sang as she spun, using a spoon as a microphone. She knocked a glass over but used her ice powers to make a small bowl to catch it in. "Oops.." she said, giggling. After her chores she decided she needed a break, since she figured everyone would be at the cafeteria, there she went.

Walking in, Claire got a bottle of water and an apple before sitting down next to a window and looking outside. The view amazed her in a way and she happily hummed to the song she was listening to before, Claire then began singing under her breath absentmindedly while she was zoning out. It then turned to a bit louder singing, some people were staring but she didn't notice, she was distracted by some thoughts in her head. "She's a tear in my heart, I'm a liar. She's a tear in my heart, I'm on fire. She's a tear in my heart, take me higher. Than I've ever been!" She sang semi-loudly, causing more people to stare.

"It's fine." Yvette bitterly bit her lip and held a hand up. The blood flowed off of her fingers back into where it came from, as her wound began to stitch itself up. She got to her feet, still holding Levia under the cloak with a rather tight grip. She nodded quickly, and the two walked to their room.

@KaiserTM

"Yvette, you really should look where you run okay?" Levia chuckled as she brought Yvette to the room, closing the door. "Yeah, yeah, alright Liv. Just get in bed, that girl really brought up the wrong questions. Don't worry." Yvette pushed Levia playfully onto the bed, earning a light scream from the smaller girl. "Alright, alright! Just-uh. Yvette?" Yvette had turned to glare at the window with a glare of death. "It's dirty. Hold on."

"Yve-" Levia tried to reach out, but Yvette had already jumped over the small desk and out the window. Since they were on the upper floors, it was a dangerous drop. Yvette hung from the windowsill with one arm, using the other hand to clean the window. "What the hell are you doing?!"

"Cleaning. We have to maintain a high standard of living, even though they jammed us into this tiny room." Yvette looked over to the cafeteria window, which also looked disgusting. She dusted off the window once more, smirked at Levia, and then used her other hand to grab onto the next brick.

Yvette Sauer

Yvette had moved to the cafeteria window, once again above the dangerous drop to the ground, but not caring. She also heard some student singing, but really wasn't fazed much by it. She did decide that it would be a good idea to ask this student for some cleaning equipment while she was at it. Deciding to get the attention of the student, Yvette tapped the glass with one finger and looked directly at the girl with her piercing red eyes. While hanging onto the outside of the window with one arm, Yvette used the other to attempt to signal the student to open the window.

Ember approached her dorm room, pushing the door open with her foot.  She took a moment to look around, before she sat down upon one of her dorm's beds, letting out a sigh.  Two beds.  She'd have a roommate this year, although she hoped it wouldn't be someone too bad.  She made friends easily and got along with everyone, but there were people in this school who could be... a little hostile, to say the least.  She knew that at least, after being her since freshman year.  "Huh, someone's settled in here already..." she mumbled, taking a moment to try and discern anything about them, before shrugging and giving up.  She set down a simple, unadorned suitcase in the corner, full of her clothing and personal hygiene  supplies.  During the summers, she lived with her father's sister, who took care of her well, although she couldn't really afford to support the both of them.  She let out a loud sigh, standing up.  Cafeteria.  Someone had said something about a cafeteria, so she supposed she'd go there first.  She remembered perfectly well where it was, and how to get there, so it didn't take very long for her to show up.

As Cloud stood on the cafeteria he looked around at the other people and wondered that maybe he could enjoy his stay at the school. He went to grab a tray and sat got some food. He got about 3 slices of pizza then walked off to the near-by table where he didnt see anyone was sitting at. He hoped that people at this school arent too interactive and wont try to approach him as he at his food. He then thought of what his future could be like by the end of this and maybe he just might be the strongest person in the world, or at least he hoped. He thought about all the missions he would be doing at the school and he was ready for the challenge ahead of him.

Claire was too busy trying to get attention swerved away from her until she saw a girl, outside the cafeteria window. "Ahh!" Emiting a small shriek and almost fainting, the bunches of people who were watching her earlier got distracted by Yvette. The French teen stood up and wobbled for a bit, disoriented, before actually fainting. She needed a break and this wasn't part of it, or at least supposed to be.

Echo shrugged, not really caring too much. "Well, it's just flying... I've always had them, so it doesn't really seem too much different than walking. You just have a much wider range of motion. I still wouldn't give it up for anything, even the chance to have unlimited ice cream! Oh... But think of all the flavors... Mango, mint... Vanilla and cherry! Nope! Still wouldn't give 'em up~!" She sang, sending a large smile at Gary.

"Jeez, is everyone unreliable and going to faint like a drama queen?" Yvette ended up pushing the dirt stuff off the window and somehow managed to pull the entire window open from the outside. Those who were now distracted by Yvette were finding her rather entertaining, probably much more so than the singing. However, Yvette wasn't here for attention. There was a dirty window that needed to be cleaned, and nobody decided to help Yvette.

Finally, Yvette decided to call for a student who was sitting away from the window with three slices of pizza. "Damnit..." Yvette then jumped into the air, earning a roar of approval from the crowd now watching her. The teenager hooked her knees on the top pipe above the window and began to dangle upside down like a bat. Yvette held her hand out and cut it hard on the side of the building, which made the crowd gasp in shock. "Guys, can you all just leave?!"

Nope, the crowd didn't leave. They just liked watching whatever Yvette was doing. The girl let out a sigh and pressed her bloody hand against the window. This managed to make the window shake and creak loudly, hopefully enough to get the attention of the guy who was eating pizza.

And now presenting the one and only time Author-Chan will write in third person. Claire was still lying on the ground with students around her trying to wake her up, And when one student touched her, their arm became frozen. That meant her powers were reacting to her unconscious state, they quickly formed a protective ice bubble around Claire. Her hair was now a shade of blue and her skin was paler than before with small snowflakes swirling on it. Her powers were in full affect, attempting to protect her. (No she is not wearing the dress in the picture, just her hair and skin changed.)

As Echo started listing ice cream flavors Gary was waiting for an opportunity to back the conversation up to how flying was no more fun than walking to her. It was hard to believe gliding through the air, unbound by gravity, unanchored to the earth, literally free as a bird, could not be the greatest feeling ever. He had to ask more about what that was like but before he had the chance to steer the conversation backwards a tapping on the window not far away caught his attention.

He turned to see what was going on, and was utterly shocked by the sight of a girl with piercing red eyes dangling from the ledge of an upper story window. He immediately jumped out of his seat, not knowing if he was going to run away from the window out of fear or run towards it to save the girl outside. He didn't have a chance to do either as he tripped, and fell to the floor, emitting a rather un-manly scream of terror on his way down. Once he'd settled on the ground and gotten a good look at the girl outside the window, he realized she was not an immediate threat to anyone else. He'd seen her in the hallway before. She was just another student. She also wasn't in immediate danger. She seemed to be pretty comfortable hanging there. He pulled himself up to his feet, dusted himself off, and hoped that no one had seen or heard him, given everything else going on at the time.

Gary watched Yvette for a moment unsure of what she was doing out there or if she needed any help. There were a lot of others starting to crowd around the window, interested to help or just fascinated to watch. Several people bumbed into Gary trying to get a better look. He backed away from the crowd trying to find a less populated area to stand and that's when he slipped.

Gary wasn't usually very clumsy but it was the second time in 2 minutes that he'd found himself falling to the ground. This time it was a patch of ice on the cafeteria floor to blame. He banged his knee painfully on the way down and writhed on the ground clutching it. He took note of a figure encased in an ice bubble very nearby. He couldn't quite make out who she was but she had blue hair and very pale skin. As he lay there on the icy floor, waiting for the splitting pain in his knee to subside before attempting to get up, Gary figured it was going to be a tough year for him at Sky High. He could hardly survive lunch, he wasn't looking forward to the competitions.

After a couple of minutes, the usual red color came back into her hair and her very pale skin went back to just a regular pale. Claire opened her bright blue eyes and sighed, clutching her forehead, using all of her power gave her migraines. She closed her eyes and focused all her energy on drawing back the ice, the ice obeyed and faded away until all was left were two small snowflakes in the redheads hands. Claire crushed them and her powers subsided, Getting up, she apologized to everyone and fixed her clothing. She was still pretty cold, "J'ai besoin de ma veste ...." She muttered to herself as she picked up her water bottle and the apple. The french teen threw away the apple and walked out of the cafeteria back to her dorm, leaving an icy trial behind her.

Emmi followed closely behind Vivian. To her surprise, she caught up to him, but only because he stopped to ask something a student he ran into if she needed his assistance. Once she declined, Emmi continued on her way to the cafeteria with Vivi and Quinton.

Quinton noticed he had fallen behind the other two students and proceeded to walk quickly down the hallway. He transitioned into a jog until he was a few feet behind Emmi and then returned to his walk. He closed the gap between him and the other two but still left enough space to where it wasn't awkward and he wasn't breathing down their necks. "Vivi, are you leading the way to the cafeteria? Since you seem the most upfront in our little group."

Echo stared at Yvette, suddenly a little angry. She'd chased away a friend again! Echo dashed after Gary, rushing to his side. "Hey! Hey! You alright?" She asked, kneeling down to help. As she rushed onto the ice, Echo somehow managed to slip. Her wings flared and her feet flew out from under her so she landed on her back. "Ack! Crap! Sorry!" She cried, flapping her wings to get herself up again. Then Echo extended her hand to Gary. "Want a bit of help there?"

Yvette Sauer Levia Miller

Yvette didn't care about the small angry girl, she had a window to clean. And then she saw that someone hurt his knee. Injuries took priority. "Damnit." The girl swung forward, earning a series of cheers and claps from that crowd as she flipped into the building through the window, landing on her feet perfectly. "Levia, 3235!!" She knelt down next to Gary and looked over him with yep...scary eyes. Yvette waved her hand to Echo, signaling the winged girl to move away, while surveying Gary's knee.

Meanwhile, Levia heard the call. The smaller girl showed up with a medical kit in her arms, as well as painkillers and scissors. Her bright blue eyes were filled with concern and there was a look of pain on her face. She knelt down next to Gary's knee and held her hand over his head. "Oh my gosh! Are you alright? It must hurt!" It hurt Levia as well, since she could feel the pain of others. Maybe with a bit more practice she could try and take it away. The girl opened the first aid kit and began wrapping a bandage around Gary's knee without checking for permission first. "If you're not feeling well, we can take you to the nurse's!"

Claire called her mother immediately, she told her what happened and her mother told her that if it happens again, to calm down right away and rest. Of course the girl knew this already but she wanted comfort, Claire had to pretend that she forgot how to control her powers from going into full affect. They talked for a couple minutes before her mother hung up on her because she had to go to a meeting. Claire smiled to herself and opened her living room windows. "I'll be fine, it was just a random student who startled you." She calmed herself down and turned on some music, laying down on her couch on her back with her eyes closed, she sang again but in French. "An moins j'ai évité le cliché... Tenant la main personne le long du Champ-Elysées.." She sang softly, forgetting her door was wide open.

Vivian glanced at Quinton and stood still for a moment. "I guess I am." He uttered, more to himself than anyone else. His gait quickened into a brisk walk and slowed down as he reached the open cafeteria doors. He was saddened to see that he couldn't throw the doors open in a dramatic entrance, but no bother. He'd do that another time. "Is there anywhere you want to sit?" Vivi asked, turning towards Emmi and Quinton. "There's some empty tables, but I thought maybe you guys would want to be near other people or something."

Wren's little beard around her neck fluffed up and she let out a sort of growl. She didn't like being held, or her attack being denied. With a quick little lunge, she sunk her dagger little teeth and crunched down on Kaiju's hand. Then she scrambled off his hands and shifted back to herself on the floor. There, she waggled her finger and huffed. "No! Nonono! No touchy!"

Nezumi nodded in agreement, and began to tap his foot in irritation.

Eventually the two looked at each other, and shared an evil smirk.

"That was very mean of you..." Said Kaijū, his voice rather low and mischievous.

"Quite cruel, in fact..." Nezumi added, his voice was at an equal tone with his brother (louder then usual), making them sound eerily alike.

"I think-"

"It would be most appropriate-"

"To teach this little bitter-"

"Some long overdue-"

"Manners..." They finished in perfect sync.

With that, Nezumi changed into his little rat form, and scurried up to Wren, easily tickling her even in his rat form.

Kaijū wasn't far behind, charging and tickling the small girl, restraining her, and using just enough strength to keep her from hurting someone.

Wren let out a shriek of pure terror. She struggled against Kaiju, struggling to kick her legs. That failed, and she wound up just thrashing about as she tried to call for help. She squirmed, screaming the whole time. Nothing seemed to work, and she began to cry. It was just like in that lab, and she did not like it. Nope, she was sobbing her head off and thrashing harder now. Wren could almost see the needle heading for her neck, even her arms. Kaiju's arms became the clamps to hold her to the table. To say the least, she was terrified. The little girl twisted her head away, straining harder against the much larger boy.
