Eh I’ve been thinking of bringing Cyan back idk since he’s a square character.

It wouldn't be too much to ask at the very least. The plot is thickening and there's ALOT of room for just about anything and the group is still pretty small all things considered, so who knows. Maybe a small exception can be made

I don't care for killing off canon characters in RP. Stuff can happen where the rest of the cast thinks they're dead, but I won't kill 'em off for real. OCs are a different story!

With the Final Fantasy talk, I want to show off my FFXIV toon. I had full intention of playing a Hyur or Roe, but after playing around in Character Creation I ended up making a Lalafell! Now I cannot watch any cutscene without a big stupid grin on my face.

Fhsjfh to me it always feels weird killing off canon characters esp when they’re being rp’d from like the mid point of their series cus I’m always left wondering “okay but what happens to the universe their from then? Does that just become an ‘x-character is dead’ au?” Tbh it’s probs something that really isn’t supposed to be dwelled too much on but there’s always gonna be that little voice in the back of my head that nags me about it whenever I see it happen lmao

But that’s also just in the context of multiverse rp’s. If the rp itself is specifically the context of being an au of that media then I don’t really have an opinion either way lol

I mean how I look at it is among the Smash Bros there are many characters who can revive or just prevent death in general. Of course that is op but I mean this is the Smash Universe and the canons never die as is in universe but those abilities always exist as a fail safe I suppose. Tbh I didn't really think of canons dying in the process of this rp. They might end up in dire situations, but I would never expect much worse. Just my personal thoughts

I think that's more on Pokemon logic given that Pokemon never seemingly die in combat with each other (oddly enough). Just beaten into submission

That's pretty much how I'm looking at it. In the end, while there can be some grim and dark elements and high stakes, this is based off a game for children.

I haven't brought it up yet in RP, but with the loss of the Hands, the fighters have lost the ability to turn into trophies. The stakes are higher! It's a different story if someone has a Dark Cannon!

1. Figure out Byleth has time manipulation powers
2. Befriend Byleth
3. Profit from Byleth saving your ass, but probably mentally scarring himself in the process cuz he'll remember your death but you likely won't

Palutena has yeeted Pit through solid surfaces to get him into places and the result is annoyance on his end. Hades crushed him between his hands like a fly while he was in a vehicle, and he survived that. Pit has traveled through frozen terrain in the NES game and has flown in a volcano in Uprising. He is very hard to kill!

I've had Dante players in SSB RPs and I'm disappointed that there has never been a moment where Dante and Pit have impaled each other with their weapons. XD

Toon Link has cartoon logic to protect him, for the most part.

We did have an excellent Vergil player as one of the main antagonists in an old game. Bayonetta was there too. This was a 2008 RP so waaaaaay before Smash Ultimate. The RP didn't have any character limitations.

There is a Mii costume of Dante in Smash Bros, so DMC characters are allowed in this RP.
