No cloning needed for most people. There will he survivors outside the bunker. Plus the reason why seven families were selected is because thats enough genetic diversity for at least as many generations. Only three generations have passed so we still have four more generations to find suitable mates.

Though i suppose if they can gene edit superpowers they can gene edit away the whole cyclopean thing.

They would’ve had a High birthrate but not the highest in the world ag about 2.2% pop growth per year. Excellent healthcare and a low mortality rate would result in a bare minimum of About 39-40 people being alive in the bunker today. Possibly higher depending on if the next generation has started being born yet.

So first were the Seven couples expecting children.

They birthed the First bunker born generation.

That generation was experimented on and had kids.

Their kids manifested the first powers and showed the changes were heredity.

And The following generation is where our cast is from.

So the fourth generation over all. The third generation of Bunkerborn people.

No abilities for outsiders sadly. There is a VERY specific and plot intrinsic connection to the powers. Something that will tie us to a final boss.

Yes. However making one of the Outsiders will be the secondary focus and one must first make a reclaimer as the plot centers around them.
