Once more, I've started to playthrough the Dragon Age series. And once again I'm pissed that Dragon Age 4 is still not released. Come on Bioware. No one even plays the Old Republic anymore. This RP I've made will essentially just follow the main Dragon Age Origins, and possibly Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition, story line, DLC's included (except Golems of Amgarrak, since it adds virtually nothing to the overall Dragon Age Origins experience)
Now, there are a few important rules I should state.
The first and most important rule is that there is no single Warden to act as Ferelden's Hero. We will all take on the Darkspawn, among other enemies, as Wardens together. Unless you're an idiot, in which case you don't need to go through the Joining ritual. But if that's the case, don't expect to survive too long against the Darkspawn.
Two, you need to create your own origin story, and it should be the center of your first post. And while you can't copy the game's origin stories, especially not the Human and Dwarven Noble variants, you can certainly use them as inspiration. And in case it needs to be said, you can create multiple characters. Just give them separate posts for the origins.
Three, we're not invincible. Unless you're the Inquisitor, don't go charging straight into a Darkspawn army. Basically, don't post something about your character managing to kill 50 Darkspawn on their own even though we're in a situation where we are utterly surrounded. I'll be a little more forgiving with Mages on this rule, since Magic is too powerful and all Mages should be locked into the darkest pits of the... Sorry, my inner Templar managed to escape a second.
Lastly, to join you are required to submit a picture of your character along with a basic rundown of who they are. Gender, height, attributes, dislikes and likes, appearance, etc. These and more should all be included. You will also need to add a shorter or complete version of their origin into it.
