As for the first question/bit of plan.
The third fruit i had in mind for Lalo to have stolen was going to be the Oak Oak fruit which would have been a special parameica or logia dealing with wood.

I think now it will be given to a shipwright npc at the end of the first arc who will make a brand new ship for the Bomba pirates as thanks for dealing with Gordie.
(It'd take whoever a few days or week to get it decent not just instantly make it aha)

My questions is do you think said fruit would work better as logia or parameica,
And if this fruit should be saved for a player who makes a shipwright or if you think my original plan works well enough.

I think your original plan will work well for a logia but that if a player wants it it should be paramecia, logia would otherwise be a bit strong starting out.

I was thinking the same way at first. Oak is a bit too specific, but both snow and ice are Logia, same goes for swamp

I say oak oak just for the name as wood wood isn't the same aha can't imagine various wood fruits, each with a specific name like how zoans do.

I saw it more like the mochi fruit big mom's son has, it creates wood and could turn themselves into it. But as wood can be broken an struck it works better in combat or creating rather then chilling about as wood.

It could work like a logia but it can be struck or burnt. Becoming wood in a defence way would be to split at the right time allowing the attack to pass or to regrow parts of the body.

Ok done. Not gonna lie the plan sound solid, a bit more so than alot of canon plans. This is good gives me high hopes for clapping rival cheeks in creative ways.

Thinking in English it might be the "bend bend" or "shape shape" fruit,
as in Japanese the yugamu yugamu no mi wouldn't fit well in dialogue aha

But on a better note The mink's plan is very good, I had planned on pushing a more comedic tone for the ambush with Patrick already drunk and explaining his plan in a stupor before snapping into a rage for the cast to deal with.

Now I feel i need to deal with it somewhat seriously aha

We can do both right? Id imagine he would have a good bit of hilarious flubbering as he tries to deal with us.

I wonder how big of a boom Lalo would make if he was catapulted at a foe. Or say we have someone who can fly or glide do a dive bomb run with him as the missile.

As a potential upgrade (like luffies gears.) you could have him learn to apply more energy to it. For example a punch would likely explode bigger than a touch. a faster booger does more than a slower booger etc. that way you have a path to upgrading power levels…though i wouldn’t be surprised if you were way ahead of me in that regard.

His ultimate form involves armament haki, he looks like a cartoon bomb with limbs

I actually have a character that uses the bomb bomb fruit but I use it very different. Exploding joints in order to empower and speed up attacks. Like when going for a punch making an explosions on his elbow to both increase power and speed. Food for thought there. The explosion doesn't have to be for an attack.
