o.o If you're still open to newcomers, I'd be interested. Any preferences/requirements on activity level & amount of writing?
Its pretty open! The more the merrier! Id say, Activity level would have be pretty active and the writing is casual Paragraphs. Like 3+ lines. No one-liners. Ill go into them more on the official thread.

I figured most people would want to play the spoiled kids so I was headed toward a different direction but there's a character I've been DYING to play and she fits the spoiled role.

Although I was wondering how many characters we are allowed to play? Bc I was also interested in having a blushed servant as well

Id say, Two starting off. But after they become a -for sure- established member, aka been in for a while- they can have as many characters (as they can handle that is). The orphanage is pretty massive and there's room for lots of different characters! Except for the limited ones. <3

oh sweet

I was wondering how the staff know which kids are spoiled and which aren’t if they look the same? Do they have certain tendencies in behavior or are the powers present in their time at the orphanage or are we playing where the powers haven’t become a thing to the kids yet?

Also also does it matter what kind of powers they have or do we choose from certain ones? I’m sorry if either of these have been answered or I skipped over it 😬

I imagine there would be a ledger where each child is organized into their respective categories

Okay so like im halfway done with everything, I dont mind letting you in on these. The funny (not so funny) fact about the staff knowing whos spoiled and whos not- THEY DONT! Its a complete wild card when a new set of orphans arrive and the Spoiled are infrequent with their "killer coming of age" but they tend to follow the same pattern. At night at the end of a week, Spoiled orphans are most likely to reveal themselves by getting from where they are at 3.AM to stand in direct moon light and stare up. Its this same night where an orphan or orphans- may end up dead. This entire process as far as the details are infrequent, meaning a Spoiled Orphan could have Spoiled right under everyones noses. But, their instincts are so prominent its difficult but not impossible for them to stay hidden for long. After wards they do infact mark them and keep them in a ledgar. Other procedures are performed, But ill go into that later. Powers are a thing for only Spoiled (noticably that is) so until they have their "killer coming of age moment" no powers appear and they seem like regular orphans. Selcouths dont get this awakening to the powers til they kill a Spoiled.

Q2- No, It wont matter what power people choose as long as its not ridiculously and hilariously overpowered. (For ex. "Blinking his eye can destroy the galaxy) And they have to be in levels which will also be further explained soon.

So would a Selcouth have to kill a spoiled in the roleplay to get their awakening or would that be able to happen via backstory?

Hmmmm.. Im on the fence about it. Lol, because I want everyone to start off normal for dramatic purposes. But, some people already being awakened sounds like potiental chaos tooooo... I think I like that better!

Question. Is the setting on Earth or is it a completely original world? And if it's on Earth, how much do we know of it, history, technology etc. My character is a big reader so I don't want to give a title like "Intrinsische Feinheiten von Angst und Geist," and then be like, wait German doesn't exist lol

Its on Earth, but in a different small dimension if that makes sense? Like Peter's Island although it is on Earth, it disobeys laws of physics and seems to have a mind of its own. As far as how much do we know of it, Its set in the modern era. So technology does exist, however it is limited and HEAVILY monitored. From within the house, to.. outside the house! ;) So, yes- Germany would exist! And the orphans would know as much as they are taught(As there is a small school on the Island as well) or found on the internet themselves.

Weee, promised neverland! πŸ’ Count me in!! I haven't seen any Harvest orphans yet, so I'll take the L and play the poor, hapless harvest orphan ; w ; πŸ‘

Well, it's similar but not exactly like promised neverland apparently.

What do you peeps think of this as a faceclaim? I am thinking she could be the elder selcoth sibling of three, one a harvest - also played by me - and the other dead.
Maybe they where a monster killed by Peckinou Peckinou 's selcoth? (Assuming you selcoth already has their powers and your eariler question wasn't just for curiosity's sake)

Ouu already getting some relationships set up, we love to see it. I love that FC a lot actually, and the art style I feel fits the theme so well! Ugh I'm going to have a hell of a time finding some good ones for my characters :closedeyescryingfrown:

I'm drawing my own fc , I'm just wondering if orphans have a uniform they are supposed to wear? everything does seem pretty manufactured

Well, if TaleTellers confirmed that they were going with the later option, than it is more that likely it would not be for curiosity sake.
