Traditional Sketch and art dump

TheMachineBand.pngTex and whatever.pngAight so a couple of things I learned while drawing today. I forgot how to do perspective. Sable was supposed to be a bit behind Jackie while holding his Lil fingy. And scarring isn't just splotched on. Mad at myself for making just a big black gloop on Texs shoulder, rather than the result of a fearsome battle. Another thing is that when you save things, it combines all the layers. So the piece has to become the background if you wanna add to it. Wild, I know.

What is up with the brushes changing? One moment im using a detailing brush and the next it looks exactly the opposite of what it did before lol
boutta go detective mode on this schtuff.

The paintbrush-like ones are cool.
Yeah the first one i used the basic flat brush and blurred the lines. The others are kinda messes to me. They get, like, progressively worse lol

One thing ive noted is that some of the brushes reeact to pressure sensitively and gets brighter as you color. However, the opacity brushes have this weird overlaying thing.

It looks good! I like it :D
Whenever I shade I try to stay away from using the same color but darker or lighter and try using different colors and shades, it's a matter of experimenting but there's probably some good tutorials on shading online you can check out :>

You right. I just need to research more and hopefully find something that clicks. Maybe purple would work as a shader..

My first ever comic page, id spose. I was gonna color it but I ultimately decided that I hated the work. Lines are still too thick and ugly.

I think the line width is absolutely fine.

You gotta consider what it's gonna look like when it's reduced; when I viewed it at 1/2-ish size (what it would display at, on most monitors), it looked nice.
