Hello there! I've a setting I'm making a story in and figured it could also be done well as an RP. I'll give you the bullet points instead of a full lore writeup, feel free to ask questions and chat with me!​

• Terra and Mars are separate but allied entities after a war​
• The war began due to Terra's treatment of the Mars colony, and ended during the grandparent generation​
• There is still lingering resentment but no outright opposition​
• Terra was focused on machinery during the war, with infantry wearing Vanguard suits (flight capable, like Anthem's Javelin suits, and Warmechs (Similar to MechWarrior's BattleMechs)​
• Mars, terraformed into a lush paradise, is focused on 'cleaner' tech. They genetically engineered their infantry on par with Terra (Think Code Vein's Revenants and God Eater's AGEs) and had more maneuverable and flashier warmachines (similar to Gundams, etc)​
• Neither planet was prepared for the Centaurions, an evolving enemy from beyond the Sol system. Now they must work together to fight and survive as a human race. (Something similar to Tyranids and Phoenix Point's enemies)​

What kind of genetic engineering do Mars soldiers have? Is it just stuff that makes them physically superior, or something a bit more crazy?

Well, if you know Code Vein and God Eater it'll be easier to explain. But the general idea is that Martians who go into combat training are given a symbiote which reacts in various ways. Two of the most prevalent are being able to use bio-engineered combi-weapons (god eater) and basically sci-magic used in different ways (Code Vein)

Either way, they become very strong and durable.

Warships are generally space-based but the majority of combat is on the ground. So you'd have dedicated artillery batteries as well as mechs and mecha that are more of a fire-support bend.

What do you mean by advanced?

I don't have a limit on players yet, and it'll be people apply for approval

Do you plan for the RP to be more casual or advanced, writing wise? I noticed that some GMs aim for short, daily replies. Others prefer multiple paragraphs of well-crafted text once a week or so.

Will we learn more about the enemy through In Character writing after the RP starts, or will you tell us more about them in OOC chatter?

The RP will likely be after the initial war start, so a mixed spec-ops force makes sense.

Casual but I still will require legibility and at least two paragraphs. I believe I have my desires on the OOC
