Two households, both alike in dignity,
In fair Verona, where we lay our scene,
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny—
Oh, wrong story, but perhaps one also ending in tragedy.
The ultimate game of cat and mouse has ensued. In the United States, a division within the CIA has been created, a task force with the objective of finding a group called Iris. Who exactly are Iris? Suspected by the leader of their division, they are an up-and-coming team of well trained, well hidden assassins, completing discreet contract kills all across the globe. As of late, they have been getting more bold, targeting highly visible individuals, and even leaving their own little calling cards: a slip of paper, bearing the stamp in shape of an eyeball.
The dots only began to connect when a high-ranking and well known agent of the CIA was found dead in his home. The cause of death? Injection of air under one of his toenails, making his death appear as a heart attack. If it were not for the medical examiner being exceptionally thorough, his death would have seemed natural and normal. And the only other people who had been in and out of his home near his time of death was his housekeeper. The task force leader did their research, however, and realized he was a mole. Discovering large sums of money being periodically deposited into his account, they traced back the account, and found that whoever was paying him off, was also paying the checks of the company his housekeeper apparently works for.
Now, they don't realize quite yet the heft of their discovery. While the Iris is quite a new team, the people they work for, the Eye, have been around for decades. And they are called the Eye for a good reason. Omniscient, all-seeing, and all-knowing, it's soon apparent to the Iris just who is tracking them down. And so the game ensues.

Obviously, please follow all RPN rules. Being kind, courteous, and respectful helps us make a great group roleplay together. Please be aware this roleplay will include violence and murder. You must be 18+ to join.
[div class=tag]rule two
Literacy is a must. This will be what most would consider a 'literate/advanced' roleplay, where I expect good grammar, literacy, and 500+ word count multi-paragraph replies. I'm not super harsh on this rule, inspiration comes and go in waves, so I don't expect walls of purple prose. As long as we keep things fun and moving along, I'm happy. No one-liner replies.
[div class=tag]rule three
Please be able to post once or twice a week once the roleplay starts, but also keep in mind I'd really like folks who are happy to chat OOC and contribute to plot discussions and such!
[div class=tag]rule four[/div]
Roles are not first come first served. There will be an application process, and once applications close, I'll be considering which characters will fit best for this plot. Please only use realistic face claims for your characters. No anime or cartoon-ish face claims. Also, while roles are not gender locked, I'd recommend to try and keep the genders even.
[div class=tag]rule five[/div]
Once the roles are filled, a Discord server will be made for easy OOC chatting and plot discussion! Please be aware of that if you'd like to join. [/div][/div] [div class="tabContents tabContents03"]
