Advice/Help When a lot of people view your RP, but don't join?

I'm not even sure. I think the rp mechanics would have to be something that allows for stats including Tamer Level, but it'd also have to be storywise tamer level.

Maybe because i'm in experienced, I'm not sure how it'd have to work.

I have to find some way to mix Story Stats and RP Stats. But have then only level up RP wise, but reference the level up process storywise as well.

In fact, Bond Level and everything else should follow that sort of flow too.

Well you can have tamer level be a milestone rather than a level. instead of being preoccupied with tamer stats, you should keep it as a milestone. Realistically the tamer is gonna be on the side line giving orders. So your tamers level should be based on milestones.

level 1 tamer: neutral relationship with digimon established
level 2 tamer: taught digimon how to do a new move
level 3 tamer: taught a digimon to digivolve to champion
Level 4 tamer: became friends with the digimon
Level 5 tamer: become trusted with the digimon

These are milestones players can do randomly as they rp trying to become friends with their digimon. And then you as the gm say, " Yo yo that was a good job. You taught your digimon a new move. +1 tamer level".

As for digimon stats, you can do basic stats. You can even cook up stats for individual digimon. Maybe kunemon is faster and has better ability power stats. While greymon has good strength and ability power, but is slower and tankier. It's relative to each digimon's stats, but they moderate what they can do.

For instance, you would not expect a kunemon to hold up half a skyscraper to save its trainer. You'd expect it to use its head to flip the trainer on its back and run. While maybe greymon might do the opposite or shield its trainer with its body.

You're the digimon expert. I can't do it for you. But I would do something like.

Name: Greymon
Strength: 30
Agility: 12
Ability power: 25
Durability: 28
List its digiattacks

I also recommend a chart.

So something like:

Strength
1-5 = human strength
6-10 = able to break trees with a single swipe of their claws
11-15 = able to dent iron and smash bricks
16- 20 = able to smash iron and dent steel
etc etc

Make charts that approximate their ability ceilings.

Here's everything I plan on Doing for the Reformation of "Digimon Story: Code of Reality."

1. I'm keeping the basic background. What you colored in Blue. And I'm going to Rewrite the Requirements for raising them in order to simplify them.
2. I'm going to make the Digivolution Lines based on just the Different Anime Series. And the Digivolution Items(Digimentals, Crests, Specific Digivices, etc.) Will not be app based, but instead using the Digimaniac's Technology that made Digimon Possible. I.e. You would use the technology to Code the Digimental of Courage and if you had Veemon, and the required Stats, RP Based, You could digivolve it into Flamedramon.
3. For anyone who has ever had a Digimon Virtual Pet, Raising the Digimon would function similarly. Feeding, Training for stats, etc. would all be done in the Virtual Pet App, seperate from the original app.
4. Bonds, including Tamer Bonds and Digimon Bonds will all be Story Based. With the exception of the fact that the Digimon must meet the requirements at least once to Digivolve, but after that they can digivolve to the unlocked state freely.

For example:

Koromon to Agumon: Requires Vaccine Training Level in the Virtual Pet App to be Level 5, and it's stats must be:

Strength: 12
Speed: 8
Special Attack(For special moves in this case Pepper Breath): 10
Special Defence: 12
Defence: 8

But even if they Stats are met, and the required Vaccine, Data, Virus level is met, you wouldn't be able to Digivolve unless the OC and the Digimon have met the Bond Milestone required.

I.e. Koromon Digivolve to!!!! Won't happen unless Bond Milestone "Friend" is met.

Is that good enough?

As long as you work out how to raise their stats and friendship, I think you got this man.

I don't know how muxh I'd enjoy playing tomagachi in rp format, but you might be able to make a fun rng dice game out of it. Maybe since the digimon are real, people are finding the game to actually be challenging. so you;d roll 1-100

below 50 is failure to make the digi happy and above 50 is a success and you gain a fraction of a friendship point
