If the Captains makes the offer to double up, then IG-86 will make every effort to try and bunk with the Captain. Denying him the two far prettier potential candidates.
If he doesnt allow doubling up. The only inconvenience is IG-86 likely claiming a bed despite not needing to sleep, thus forcing someone to sleep on the couch. Which doesnt effect Cid, since he has the captains quarters.

Oh hey! Sorry, I've been inactive bc of school. Ellis is on her home planet, just kinda doing her thing. I'm not sure where I want her yet but I'll try to have a post up soon. Also, I thiiink she's on Coruscant, but I changed it a few times before I settled so I'll have to go back n look at her CS.Well I wasn't thinking that they'd be meeting immediately and I certainly wasn't thinking that they'd be fighting.
I'm looking at a galactic map for Star Wars right now and there is a lot of distance between Tatooine and Desmond's end goal of Ossus. Like almost half the know galaxy, though if you want to get specific about 13,500 parsecs. This leaves quite a few plants they could possibly meet up on while his ship is "refueling", like Bothawui early on. After that it could depend on whether he's looking to get there fast or safe or fast.
If he wants longer but safer then there's a route that goes through the mid rim, around Hutt space. The only really noteworthy planet on that route would be Kashyyk. While if he wanted a faster route he could cut straight though Hutt space, making a stop at Nar Shaddaa.

Also! Gonna need to explain how he learned of the potential jedi on tattooine. With so many people hunting jedi, he wouldn't be the only one after them should word get out.
Though his inquiry would make things much harder. The surrounding of mos Eisley is full of farms. Many with kids, hermits, crazy folk, and all of the above.
