biography:
Cameron, being the second born and youngest child, was shielded from some of the things her brother saw and experienced growing up. Because of this, they are quite different, and would even describe their upbringings as different. Whereas Cade terrorized the nannies (and anyone else he deemed fit), Cameron was the angel child. Everyone loved her, because she was so easy to take care of and get along with.

They always knew that she would be talented musically, as she actually sang before she talked. When she wanted to tell you something, she sang it. Ever since she learned how to write, she would write songs and poetry, and as she got older, she would even put music to some of those lyrics.

Since Cade protected her from behind the scenes, she really only ever saw the terror side of him, so they didn't get along well. She always tried to stay away from him, and though she would try to get closer to their father, it just never happened. Cam never understood why, not knowing that it was part of Cade's blackmail. This led Cam to have some mental health issues, and she self harmed for a long time.

She started Ivyrose two years after Cade did, and people were shocked to find out they were siblings. Determined to make it big to escape this place and her demon brother, she ignores him as best she can. No one knows about her history of self harm or other struggles, and she wants to keep it that way.

biography:
Cade was born first in the Hunter family, and being the oldest, he's always had the bigger chip on his shoulder and the heavier weight of responsibility. Both he and his sister were practically raised by nannies-- plural, because Cade wasn't an easy child by any means, and he tormented anyone he could. He hated being older, hated being responsible for being perfect, both in the public eye and at home.

His father was a high-end lawyer, though he also dabbled in many shady affairs that kept the money flowing in nicely. Cade may not have wanted for material possessions, but as a child he never really received the one thing he wanted: affection. Love. His mother died shortly after Cam was born, and though the nannies tried, they were just that: caregivers. The women his father brought home were definitely not mother material, and his father's hand was rarely kind.

Though he was relentless in teasing and tormenting his younger sister, she was also blood and he took that seriously. His acts of care were more behind the scenes, however, so that she never knew it was him protecting her. He found out about his father's illicit affairs as a teenager, and waited for a few years before revealing to the man that he knew. It was pure blackmail, but that's how Cade operates. He'll do whatever it takes to get what he wants, and to protect those he cares about.

He's been setting aside money that he's been stealing or obtaining in other ways for a long time now, in an account that no one knows about. It's his "just in case" fund. He started Ivyrose fresh out of his private high school, wanting to make it big as an actor.

THE BACKSTORY
Luca Romano met Isabella Flores during a night out with his boys. He was a twenty-somehing year old who had a luxurious lifestyle due to his father's mafia ties and she was working in a nightclub as a waitress when he noticed her. The young Italian-American man was taken by her beauty and approached her. She’d seen his table ordering expensive bottles and flashing their jewelry all night and she was aware of the opportunity in front of her. Isabella was living in poverty, struggling to pay rent while working two jobs. She saw Luca as a way out. Maybe she'd fall in love with him along the way, to her it didn't really matter though. She had no idea what she was getting herself into but even when she found out she didn’t turn back. It was about money and the lifestyle for her and if anything, his mafia ties only added to it.

About a year and a half into their “relationship” Isabella became pregnant so they quickly eloped. When Mariana was born she became the apple of her father’s eye but word of his wife and child spread and caused his enemies to come out of the woodworks. It wasn’t uncommon for someone like him to make a few rivals here and there but when you have a family they become the target. They managed to avoid these enemies for a good two years, long enough for another baby to be born. This time it was a boy, Diego. Luca was overjoyed to have a son, someone to carry on the legacy he'd help set. Perhaps his excitement got in the way of his vigilance because not long after Diego's birth, Isabella fell victim to his rivals and met a brutal end. The Romano siblings don't remember their mother now outside of stories their father has told them.

Growing up the way they did was always bittersweet. They were surrounded by drugs and violence, hearing and knowing things that weren’t meant to be repeated. Their father taught them to defend themselves at a young age, how to use a weapon, to be clever and manipulative. There was always a possibility of being kidnapped or killed just for being the child of Luca Romano and he vowed not to let that happen. Despite all of this, they lived a lavish lifestyle. Mariana never minded what her father did, it was normal to her and there wasn’t really a reason for her to question it.

Still, she wanted to make a name for herself and be known as more than just a Romano. She had always loved fashion and wanted to pursue a career in it so using her mother’s last name, Flores, she applied for Ivyrose and was accepted rather quickly. She moved from New York to California and it was the best choice she’s made. Although she keeps in contact with her family and her father sends her money regularly she enjoys having the freedom and not feeling like she has to look over her shoulder every second. Here she is just Mariana Flores, a fashion major who comes from a wealthy family.

THE BACKSTORY
Almost anyone who knows Ezekiel would describe him as a sometimes arrogant and very entitled guy who grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth. It would be a sorta accurate description of the younger Monroe sibling. He was born to Melanie and Dominic Monroe, a couple who’s wealth and social status was established well before he was ever even thought of. As a matter of fact, it was accumulated generations ago. His great-grandfather has started their dynasty and it got inherited, passed down through the family. They own many businesses, a couple hotels and a restaurant chain, though there are others.

Melanie and Dominic were often out of town on business trips and so this left the boys at home with a nanny quite often. While his brother didn’t seem to mind much, Zeke hated this, craving his father’s attention. When their father was home, it was obvious that he focused more on teaching Adrian about the family business than Zeke. This only caused a rift between the brothers and made the Ezekiel try harder to be noticed. Despite these attempts and his accomplishments, it never was enough. Even his dreams of opening his own business were crushed when his father deemed his ideas silly and told him he had no clue of how to run a business.

This was the start of Zeke’s rebellious streak. It became less about his father’s approval and more about the attention. He didn’t care if it was good or bad, people knew his name and that was good enough for him. During this time Zeke became quite the party boy and his father was livid as he cast a negative light on the family image. He couldn't seem to get Zeke under control and instead shipped him off to Ivyrose. He figured at least if he was causing trouble from far away then it wouldn't fall back on the family name as much. At least here he doesn't feel like second best...for now.

Jared Darrington: [Brother]
These two are on VERY rocky terms. They love each other, but they do not get along or see eye to eye on a lot of things especially concerning the family or their professions. If ever in danger they would try to protect one another, but anything short of that they tend to do their own thing.

Cade Hunter:
The Hunter's and the Darrington's have known each other since they were very young. Being childhood friends since elementary school till as they grew up and found out more about their families and themselves drifted apart. As far as her and Cade go she's the closest still with him. She understands his rebellion even if she doesn't like that he might be walking down a similar path as his father. He is her oldest friend.

She hates her personality, she hates how well she get's along with her brother, and most of all she still kinda holds a grudge over the fact she stole a boy she really liked from her just because. Vicky didn't even really like him, but just didn't want to "lose" to Maggie and that mentality makes her sick. People aren't trophies. She's never really forgiven her for it.

Thomas Porter:
She met Thomas freshmen year due to her really struggling in a course. He was great at it, a natural even and she asked for his help to tutor her. He continued to help her occasionally till an actual friendship bloomed from it. She thinks he's a real cool dude, and really smart.

Beatrix Banks: The two met last year due to being in a music elective course together. They bonded of their love of music, and became friends. Maggie thinks she's amazingly talented and wants her to be one of the artists she one day signs once her talent agency is up and running. She's hesitant right now, but has talked about being willing to work behind the scenes for now which she's still really grateful for.

Mariana "Mari" Romano: She doesn't really like Mari. She's known her a while since their family ties and her brother once again befriending people somehow (no one seems to see him for the devil he is). However other then like differences in likes and hobbies her main issue isn't with her personality (other then her complacency) but with the company she keeps. She views her brother and Vicky as bad company and she's always with them, so bird of a feather logic.

Ezekiel "Zeke" Monroe: They've only known each other a year now due to sharing a class or two last year from being in the same major. The two really hit it off and connected. Both rebels against their family, their fathers favoring the older sibling, all that made it easy for her to talk to him about her home life as well as other things. They've even talked about his business and her future business plans and how they can help each other. He's a friend she's always willing to help out.

August Lovell:
The two met when she was a freshman and he was a sophomore in an core class. The two wound up vibing really well due to her being pretty laid back and open minded. She was fascinated by his thoughts and way of life. They've been friends ever since! She also thinks he's got a real talent, and is kinda sad this is possibly his final year here.

Jackson Ward: The two met one night after Maggie had one too many drinks and woke up in his bed. Surprisingly they found out that they actually got along pretty well, and so they kept talking and a friendship was born. They've got quite a few things in common and she kinda admires those who get into a school like this based off the scholarship offered knowing how hard it is. He's a friend she knows she can go out and have a good time with.

PERSONALITY
She is Kind, but is hesitant to show it due to bad prior experiences. She tends to go with the flow of whatever is happening around her due to it usually being planned by those above her and the image she's supposed to have. While she definitely does like to have fun, and be spontaneous she's not as reckless as most people believe her to be. She does have limits both morally and physically. It's rare for her to snap at someone, and lose her temper despite once again that being something people assume she has. Her resting b*tch face doesn't help with the intimidation factor. She does share traits with her family like being manipulative, calculating, and everything is a means to an end. She just believes her end and means are more fair than her families. She has a decent sense of Justice, but it's self made and therefor is flawed from time to time due to being raised in a morally ambiguous family where you get in more trouble for getting caught doing something wrong then actually doing wrong.

She hates lying, but she's rather good at it. She's very loyal even to a fault which is possibly the only reason she hasn't cut ties to her family. It's the one good trait they instilled harshly into both of their kids because betrayal in their way of life could mean death. This was also a factor in her stopping from speaking her mind about her family and the things they do for a living because she did't want that on her conscious if something bad did happen. Once you get past all of that she tends to be a sweet girl, who likes comics, motorcycle rides, and has a love for music, and the arts. She's an introvert, liking her time alone to recharge before facing society. She's not much of a go wild girl in party settings, but she definitely will drink a lot, and the drunker she is the more flirty she is, which is completely unlike her sober. Not that a few one night stands can't be fixed by her family.

BIOGRAPHY
Magnolia Jezebel Darrington was born to one of the best criminal lawyers in the nation. He at first was a lawyer defending the innocent, but figured out there was a lot more money to be made defending criminals who wanted to be innocent. Her mother being the owner of one of the top PR agencies in the country as well. Her agency represented a vast amount of elite families, companies, and celebrities. There was no mistake too big that this pair couldn't clean up and turn into dollar signs for their clients which meant even more for them. The one rule they had with their clients was once they were hired they had to listen to every thing they said and follow their instructions if they were going to get the results they wanted. Clients had no problem following this knowing how well both of them worked and had a near 100% success rate. This however was not exclusive to clients their children were run with the same iron fist. Their images being sculpted for the families best interest since birth without asking what they might want or personally even be like. Their personal beliefs came second to what was in the best interest of the family if it didn't already a line with the family values. Luckily for her brother he was all about it. Whatever was going to keep him living in the lap of luxury was a price he was willing to pay. He was expected to take over the law firm whenever their father retires, and she was to take over the PR agency.

The only issue was Magnolia didn't follow the same mentality as her family when it came to clients. She felt it was wrong to help the guilty be set free, she felt it was wrong to fix peoples mistakes because then how are they supposed to learn from them? She was all for seeing the good in everyone, and that no one was 100% bad, but people should be held responsible for their actions too. Despite constantly butting heads with her family over this the media, and the outside world didn't know she was any different from them. Any time she tried to speak out in the past was "fixed" by her parents or parental connections. And what few things weren't social media bashed her as being a hypocrite for enjoying the wealth her families dealing gave her...as if as a minor she had a choice? By midway through high school she gave up on trying to get the world to see her for how she really was, and trying to fight her family. It was a loosing battle on all fronts.

She allowed them to dress her how they wanted, and behaved in public how they wanted. She never did anything terrible, but that didn't stop rumors from circulating that she did. In fact it gave the family even more of a boost in fame so they stuck to her rebellious act except they were now in control of how rebellious she would be and in what ways. To have something of her own she started a youtube channel where she would sing covers, and her own original songs. She found she really loved music and struck up a deal with her family. She wouldn't go into PR like they wanted, but if having influence of people is the name of the game then she'd own her own talent agency. Being the reason people become celebrities puts them in your debt just as much as getting them out of trouble...well that was at least her pitch to them which of course they agreed. Truth be told she just wanted something that could be hers and hers alone, and perhaps one day people would see her for who she really is without them tainting the image. Not to mention anything to get her a bit of distance from her families more notorious connections would be great. Going off to College gave her a bit more freedom than she'd previously had, but she still felt like she always had to watch her back and be seen a certain way or else her family would find out she's not playing by their rules.

BACKSTORY:
To Vicky, the world has always been dog eat dog. She was born in a family of realtor Charles Hanson and his socialite wife Elizabeth. From her early childhood, she was taught and led to be the best and walk over dead bodies to achieve her goals. That is, when her parents actually took the moment and spent some time with their one and only. Because usually it was just Vicky and nannies.

Being an only child and most of the time, an abandoned one, her parents were trying to overcompensate and it was only natural that with fulfilling every wish of their daughter, Vicky grew up to be a selfish and ignorant young woman. The perfect word to describe her would be entitled. Lacking the parents’ love, Vicky tried to make up for it with material things and she was always allowed to do anything she wanted, go anywhere she wished to and have an unlimited access to anything what her parents had to offer. Yet, her nature formed into a mean and bitchy one.

When Vicky was 16, her mother died. She was actually very sweet woman but the cancer was a bitch. It hit the young girl quite hard but she would never admit it to anyone. Her heart became even harder and she started to overcompensate with her needs and wants which her daddy happily obliged to. Anything for his little princess, anything to make her happy. After all, buying her things didn’t require him to be present in her life for longer than he actually needed to teach her the ruthless business ways.

Ever since she started high school, she worked on establishing her status. Despite what everyone might think, Vicky wasn’t interested in becoming the resident queen bee or anything like that. For her, high school was just another stop on her way to greatness. And for her, greatness meant being seen and heard. Vicky understood everything his father had bestowed upon her and there was no force in the universe to stop her. She was raised to be a confident young woman though no one expected that her ego would go over the roof. She adopted this philosophy “if you’re not with me, you’re against me” and was never shy to take any measures to reach her goals.

BACKSTORY:
The Porter’s will be winners. That is the motto with which William Porter raised his son. From his early childhood, Thomas was led to believe in himself and that hard work and determination would get him far. The family never had a lot. His parents met at high school and it was love at first sight. Annabelle Porter got pregnant on her senior prom night and with child, her college ambitions flew outside the window. William was trying to make it work, pregnant girlfriend AND college. But it was harder than he thought and in the end, he dropped out. His parents never forgave him for throwing away his career and marrying Annabelle. They never spoke again. But William was happy and when Thomas was born, he swore to give his son the perfect future.

Even though the family was never wealthy, Thomas never lacked anything. He and his dad had a certain plan and Thomas did everything to follow it thoroughly. Oftentimes, his parents would give their thing up so Thomas could succeed. He was always this straight A student, perfect scores, polished resume, class valedictorian. It was no surprise when he managed to score a scholarship for Ivyrose. He was always fond of writing, therefore, he decided to major in Screenwriting.

One semester into his studies, the worst blow hit him. His father died. The man was in a car accident and never had the chance. Thomas was devastated and had the hardest time to cope. His grades declined a bit but it was still seen as grief. But the he was hit for the second time. Not even one year after his father’s death, his mom told him she was getting married again. Thomas and his stepfather never really saw eye to eye and Tommy gradually stopped going home completely. His studies suffered the most as everything became absolutely unimportant.

Thomas changed completely. He started to look for a release in the wrong places and the perfect student in him disappeared. Instead, there was Thomas Porter, the slacker, the stoner, the druggie. He still managed to keep his scholarship, just enough not to be expelled. That school was the last thing that held him connected to his dad so he tried. But it was the minimum effort, only enough to keep the grades on the edge of average. He simply stopped caring and showing up at school under influence became his routine. Though if you ask him, he’ll tell you he writes the best pieces when his drunk or high. Or both.

Magnolia Darrington: [Sister]
These two are on VERY rocky terms. They love each other, but they do not get along or see eye to eye on a lot of things especially concerning the family or their professions. If ever in danger they would try to protect one another, but anything short of that they tend to do their own thing. While he'll never admit it he is more concerned about her then she seemed to be about him.

Cade Hunter:
The Hunter's and the Darrington's have known each other since they were very young. Being childhood friends since elementary school till as they grew up and found out more about their families and themselves drifted apart. As far as him and Cade go they are about as rocky as him and his sister are. They are both competitive and striving to take over even surpass their fathers, but are approching it from two opposite ways causing them to bump heads. Sometimes though it's for the better.

Cameron "Cam" Hunter:
The Hunter's and the Darrington's have known each other since they were very young. Being childhood friends since elementary school till as they grew up and found out more about their families and themselves drifted apart. As far as him and Cam go he views and treats her like the little sister he wishes Magnolia was. He's very protective of her and has remained surprisingly close despite drifting off from the other two.

Victoria "Vicky" Hanson:
Jared and Victoria have known each other a while now through their parents working together and becoming family friends which trickled down to them. They like a lot of the same things and she is one of the few people he actually considers himself close to and as a friend that goes beyond just business or future business. He's never really seen her in a romantic like feeling like she was too close to family, and a bond he wouldn't want to loose due to romance drama. He knows her and his sister have beef but he doesn't care because who cares if a guy choose Vicky over Maggie? He was given the option and he picked who he liked he doesn't really understand the deeper drama of it.

Mariana "Mari" Romano: Like Vicky they met due to family ties, and have stayed friends. Because of this he knows her true identity. Something he plans on keeping a secret due to them being friends (Heaven forbid she betrays him, but he haze zero doubt in him mind he knows she's loyal). They get along great as she's a girl with ambitions of her own and enjoys the finer things in life like himself. He can often be found around her and Vicky on nights out on the town. Much like Vicky and Cam he treats her with respect and views her almost like a sister.

Ezekiel Monroe: He doesn't care much for Zeke. At best he's competition for the beautiful ladies, and at worse he's someone who he'll have to deal with if he breaks one of the wrong girls hearts. They are in the same major so he sees him quite a bit, as well as the party scene, but it's not much more than that if he can help it.

Jared is a very charming young man, and to most people's surprise a man of his word. If he tells you he's going to get something done he will, and he will never back out of or break a deal or promise he makes with someone. In that regards he's one of the most trustworthy men you'll meet. However do not mistake this for him being 100% honest and to be trusted because just like everyone else in his family everything is merely a means to an end and he doesn't really care if his end benefits you in the long run as well. He only cares about it benefiting him. In this regard (and others) he is extremely selfish, only caring about himself, his needs, and his dreams. Sure he also cares for his family (even his sister though he'll never admit it) They still might come second to his own desires. Luckily the two things have never conflicted seeing as his family is a large reason for his personality being the way it is.

The golden boy of the family having all the desired traits their parents wanted in a child, manipulative, calculating, ambitious, Resourceful, clever, and competitive. His desire to be the best and win could even rival his fathers. Even when he loses he makes sure in the end he still gets a win somewhere however he can. Living in the lap of luxury has made him materialistic and greedy for more, but that's largely overshadowed to others by his outgoing charm. He can also be a bit of a flirt, usually for fun and nothing serious considering he doubts he'll ever meet someone who will match his level of ambition. However he isn't below flirting to get something he wants either. when he's out and about on the party scene he's a joy to be around because no matter how bad the night gets or how great the night goes you know if you're with him everything is going to be covered by the morning. Being his "friend" is a lot like living without consequences...if you've paid the price.

BIOGRAPHY
Jared Markus Darrington was born to one of the best criminal lawyers in the nation. He at first was a lawyer defending the innocent, but figured out there was a lot more money to be made defending criminals who wanted to be innocent. Her mother being the owner of one of the top PR agencies in the country as well. Her agency represented a vast amount of elite families, companies, and celebrities. There was no mistake too big that this pair couldn't clean up and turn into dollar signs for their clients which meant even more for them. The one rule they had with their clients was once they were hired they had to listen to every thing they said and follow their instructions if they were going to get the results they wanted. Clients had no problem following this knowing how well both of them worked and had a near 100% success rate.

This however was not exclusive to clients their children were run with the same iron fist. Their images being sculpted for the families best interest since birth without asking what they might want or personally even be like. Their personal beliefs came second to what was in the best interest of the family if it didn't already a line with the family values. Jared didn't mind this philosophy. Anything to keep him living in the lap of luxury was a price he was willing to pay. He was expected to take over the law firm whenever their father retires,and he was excited.In fact he wanted to be even better and take things even further than his parents had. He wanted to become legendary, the kind of person who influenced history. He didn't just want enough riches for his lifetime, but for all his decedents. And he was willing to do whatever it took, even if it meant getting a few peoples hands dirty to accomplish this. HE was smart enough to never get his own hands dirty, and to cut loose ends that could be traced back to him of course. To the world, he had no weaknesses because he cared about no one except himself and his family name. well almost. As much as him and his sister butt heads he does love her, and if she was ever in any real danger he'd help her. It was a strange connection because deep down he knew she probably felt the same. They'd never agree, but they had each other's back if push ever came to shove. But it would have to be real danger not the petty rebelling she did against their parents.

As he went through school Jared gain popularity and connections, but most importantly favors. He never forgets a deal, and get's anything he does in writing as a legal contract even in Middle school. When you've got a lawyer for a father you know the importance of words especially if they are written. Because of this some saw him as a charming devil. willing to do whatever you needed to help you out, if you were willing to pay the price. He never asked for money, almost exclusively that they'd lend a hand whenever asked in whatever way he deemed necessary in the future. He had the money, charm, and sneaky tactics to get you whatever you needed done, so most people couldn't fathom what he'd ever need help with. With a smile that made you melt most signed away their souls without a second thought. Jared is a business man through and through, and he doesn't see himself fading anytime soon. Between his families connections, and the ones he's created himself he's building an empire that would one day make even the greatest conquers jealous.
