*Personality Description:
Ximena is perhaps one of the most realistically thinking people known to man. Never truly optimistic or pessimistic, taking control of how she views things instead of letting society. She can be very straight-forward and blunt, hoping to get to the point rather than beat around the bush. In her mind, there were so many other things to be enjoying than being nervous about a conversation or a question. Most people hate this about her but when they start to get to know her better, they understand that she doesn't do it to be rude. When it comes to expressing her feelings, she's a bit awkward. She knows she can't just flat out say her feelings and that there's a way to go about it, but it always comes off as weird or off-putting. Xi can be really sweet or really bitchy; it all depends on how she is treated. Because of her stubborn nature, she can also hold a grudge (and will) thus making her bitchy towards you. Sometimes she can get distracted, zoning off at the most random of times. No one knows the causes, though she does. There are times where she can be very independent, not letting anyone help her. It's one of the downsides she's discovered about herself when she first became a doctor. That and she was very determined. When she set her mind to something, she was going to go through with it no matter what the outcome may have been.

Ximena was born to a Puerto Rican father and an African-American mother. Her father was in the Army, thus dubbing her an Army-Brat. They traveled all over the place because of both of her parents. Whenever her father was deployed, her mother would move to wherever their was family and they would help her mom take care of Xi. When her father wasn't deployed, they would move because of the military. Going from place to place, Ximena sort of learned how to distance herself from people. Meeting new people and becoming close to them had begun to take a toll on the girl and she decided to always keep people at arms length. It's also where she may get her blunt attitude from, knowing that she was on limited time, meaning get to the point about who you are.

When she graduated from high school, she just knew she wanted to join the medical field. But because of her father's influence, she would do so through the Army. They paid for her education while she served for the next 8 years. She only ever deployed once and it changed her in a way that would explain why she thought so realistically about everything. Even though she was a medic, she would still have to learn military tactics and receive field training. She only hoped she would never have to put down her scalpel and pick up her gun. Her hope died during the one time she deployed. Ximena happened to stumble into a shed where some higher ranked men were 'interrogating' an enemy soldier. Really they were water-boarding him and she tried to turn around but was caught. She was told to check his vitals and make sure he was still alive and could withstand more. She confirmed and they started up again, forced to stay in the corner and watch to make sure he was still alive. After about 14 minutes, she heard the prisoner say "Kill me" to the men to which one replied, "You'll die when we say so." This disturbed her so much that she shouted, "He should get to choose how and when he dies." It was because of this insubordinate behavior that she was forced to kill the prisoner in whatever way he chose.

When her 6 years had come to an end, she quickly left the Army. Even though the incident gained her inside access to a lot of things and happened 6 years before she left, she still could never get over the thought of the first prisoner she ever had. She then followed her plan of working in an actual hospital in the trauma department. With her experience, she quickly excelled in the field of trauma medicine. Which would perhaps help her out in the newest outbreak of zombies.​

She would rather do a task on her own, whether she could actually pull it off or not, she’s very loyal to those she cares about. She acts like she’s confident in herself, at least she’d like to think so, She adapts quickly to situations, on the outside she’s calm, cool, & collected..even if on the inside she’s a mess.

Her parents lived in mexico, and crossed the border when her mother was pregnant, she wanted a better chance for their child. Salda had a baby boy, Julian. Years later she had another child. Gabriela, growing up, Gabby loved her books, she’d read them with her Father, who was a mechanic, she used to help him out from time to time, he taught her everything she knows about cars, her & her older brother used to stay up past midnight and watch horror movies, She was close with her mother. But her mother had wanted more of her daughter, to be interested in the same she was. Gabriella was much a tom-boy, she didn’t care for make-up or nails. She cared for the video games, sports, cars’. Her mother had told her jt was a guys’ thing, Gabriela didn’t see it as a ‘guys’ thing, that was just dumb. Her childhood was a good one, until she was 17, & her parents got deported.

She thought it was her fault, she had been roped into shoplifting by a friend. & when getting caught, the police looked into her and her family, upon looking they realized her family wasn’t documented. It was only her and her brother Julian, he took good care of her, and worked his hardest to send her to college, but she didn’t want him to work so hard, she tried in school, really tried. She had gotten a scholarship to a college in Washington D.C. where she majored in journalism, once she graduated. She worked at a small sports magazine, where she wanted to write stories she loved. Unfortunately, it was only for a few weeks. The breakout happened, and nothing was never the same, and there wasn’t anymore stories to write,

because this was the end of one.

Body Modifications(Tattoos, piercings): She has tattoo sleeves she’s working on, so most of her arms are covered in various tattoos, though it starts to fade back into her non-inked skin at about the midway point on her forearm. For tinier details, she has a black lip ring on the right side of her lip and a blue dream catcher tattoo on the back of her neck.

Mental and Physical Conditions: She’s mentally healthy, considering the situation. She’s on the skinnier side, but she’s stronger than she looks. She also has asthma, which is a pain in the ass but doesn’t effect her too much. She just has a hard time catching her breath after running, and if she spends too much time around dirt she gets wheezy. Luckily she still has her inhaler, though she doesn’t know what she’s going to do once that’s gone.



PERSONALITY:



Personality Description: Jill’s personality is, to sum up her entire essence in one word, tired. She seems exhausted all the time, but that’s just kind of how she acts. She doesn’t think much as she normally just tends to feel situations out, whether it’s a verbal or physical fight. She’s flexible to other people’s way of thinking. Worse case scenario, she thinks of everything as an experience or an adventure. She typically tends to be more of a loner, but cares about the few people close to her a lot and would do anything for them. It may be hard to gain her trust, but once you have it, she’ll be loyal to you forever. Jillian tends to talk a bit much, though normally quietly to herself. She thinks out loud and tends to say some crazy things at times. She has a darker sense of humor and likes to make jokes to lighten the mood, though she may come off as a bit creepy at times.

Likes: Jillian really likes candy. She’d started sucking on suckers to help her quit smoking, but ended up developing a massive sweet tooth in the process. She loves cats, but isn’t a huge dog person. She also really likes kids and would want to have some of her own someday.

Dislikes: As mentioned earlier, dogs. She dislikes them and is a bit scared of them. And she really dislikes sad people and crying. They make her uncomfortable. Other than that, Jillian is a fairly open minded and accepting person, so there isn’t much she dislikes.

Habits: Jillian has a habit of talking to herself. Lots of asking to herself, but it became worse after the incident. Along with that, singing and humming at random times. She falls asleep easily if she isn’t standing up and walking around, which can lead to some scary situations at times. She also has a habit of thinking of everything as a game, not thinking too seriously about anything she does.

Fears and Phobias: She’s mainly afraid of dogs, storms, and being forever alone. She has a hard time making connections with people and gets scared everyone will get sick of her and leave her to die by herself.

Languages: She speaks English, and can speak a bit of Italian. She took an online course just for fun, but gave up after a few months of it. So she can only say a few basic phrases, so it’s not too useful.



BEFORE ZOMBIES:



Job: Mechanic

Family, friends, and other important people: She wasn’t too close to her family. She’d been kicked out of her house when she was sixteen after they found out she was a lesbian, so she was used to being on her own. She has an online friend, Jamie, that she had been talking to a lot since before the incident that she was very close to. She missed her, and always hoped to find her at some point, despite everything happening. And she missed her cat, Jordan. She had taken Jordan with her when she left her home to find somewhere safer to go, but once after an attack he’d gotten scared and ran away from her, leaving her by herself.

What do they miss most?: Jill misses her cat more than anything. And having lollipops on hand at all times. She misses smoking, too, though that was something she’d missed before the incident. She also misses showering everyday, but that’s about it.

3+ Sentence Bio: Jillian was a fairly normal girl. She went to school, she had a few close friends. She liked to play sports and was a bit of a tomboy. She went through her emo phase in high school just like everyone else. Around that time, though, was when she started to discover more about herself. Like the fact that she wasn’t interested in boys. It wasn’t that big of a deal to her, and since her parents weren’t too religious, she assumed it wouldn’t be a big deal to them either, but she was wrong. At first, both of her parents thought she was just confused. But as it became more obvious she was serious, bringing girls home often, dating around, they kicked her out of the house. It didn’t effect Jillian too much. She worked around doing odd jobs while she lived in her car until she could afford an apartment. From there, she snuck a cat in and called it home. She got to go to school to become a mechanic on a few different scholarships, though her limited amount of money made her mostly self taught. But she was good at what she did, earning a decent amount of money.



After moving out, she didn’t date around a lot. She had been dating a few different girls in high school, but she had known most of them were experimenting with her. Once she was older she focused more on her career and schooling. The only one close to her was her beloved cat, and her friend she carried around with her everywhere, Jamie. They’d met on a site similar to Omegle one night when Jill had been drinking and just messing around. But they’d matched and started talking, and things went from there. They traded numbers and talked almost everyday, frequently making efforts to call one another. Nothing romantic, though. They were just good friends. Jamie was bi as well, but in the time they had been talking, she’d gotten engaged to another girl and the wedding was set for a few months after the first outbreak. After the engagement the talking became less frequent, but Jill didn’t mind too much. She kept busy with her work and tried not to think about her loneliness.



After the incident happened, she fled from her house with her cat. She started heading in the direction of New York, where she knew Jamie lived. Jill was originally from Wisconsin, so she made it quite a ways on her own. When she got around the Ohio area, she’d set up a camp for a few days. Towards the third day of staying there, a mob of the undead flooded the area she was staying in. In a panic, she’d grabbed her few belongings and threw them in the car. She turned to grab her cat, Jordan, to get him in the car quick as well. But as she turned around she saw him sprinting away, from the zombies and from her. As the undead was getting closer, there wasn’t much Jillian could do, so she got in the car and left. Once the area had cleared, she’d spent two weeks searching for her cat before she gave up, assuming him to be dead or long gone. She grimly carried on to New York by herself. This is when the talking to herself was the only thing that kept her sane.

BIO
Sky grew up in a stable middle-class nuclear family in Seattle, where he endorsed the bustling streets and busy hours. All throughout high school, he dreamed of becoming a police officer so he could ensure his town would be safe for his kids to grow up as well as he did. After high school, he moved to Pennsylvania to go to college and fulfill his dream and marry his girlfriend of 3 years. Just before graduation, the apocalypse started, and the realization of 22 years of hard work flushing down the drain, along with the death of the love of his life nearly killed him, but he persevered, only to wander the hell-on-earth looking for a reason to keep on going.
