The reason for this is, quite simply, that he feels that just because he has to be sad doesn't mean others do, and seeing that what he does affects people in such a good way makes him feel better too.


Despite the stereotype for pansexuals, Ky does not like flirting. He feels that if he is to find the one, then he would know straight away, and until then he won't chase people. He does, however, love the spotlight and will do almost anything to be the centre of attention.

When Ky was 8 years old his mother was killed in a mugging. His father went mad from grief and, although he would rarely resort to abuse, made Ky scared to go home at night. He was withdrawn from school at 10, under the pretense of being homeschooled, which is why he isn't the smartest person around.


Eventually, when he was 14, his father committed suicide and he was taken in by a foster family. They were nice and all but they had way too many kids, and he never really got the attention he needed.

Other than that, the richness also came with a price. Nitori's parents were forced to go abroad once or twice. It would either be Nitori's mom or dad who would leave the country but is just as usual that both would leave at the same time. This had an obvious effect to their bond with their child, and since then Nitori always stayed at her father's lab where employees work 24/7 by shifts to keep an eye on her. This was a multipurpose laboratory though and was what one would call high-tech. She loved staying there, being kept watched by both doctors and scientists alike to discover and learn. Nitori generated a passion for robotic engineering as she grew up, constructing the most basic of machines with help from those professionals that were more often than not just some feet away from her. She daydreams of making great pieces of technology that would one day make her famous and as rich as her parents.

Since his uncle was the only person Alex was really around, he admired the man, aspiring to be just like him. To this day, Alex trained himself to be ready for the GSG9.
