Greetings! Grab a cookie, take a seat, and browse. Hello and welcome to my returning attempt at a partner search thread after a prolonged absence here from RpNation. This is a total revival of my old one. Plots will be updated should I think of any others or decide to edit the ones currently present. I intend to only accept five partners, mainly for the sake of time and not spreading my interests too thin, having too many partners is just a hassle. I'm currently a full-time college student and won't have the entire day to sit down and make posts. In the least, I'll do my best to get a post out a day. If a few days pass and I'm absent, please, just send me a little reminder. Odds are that I haven't forgotten but I am just busy. If I do get overwhelmed and have to pull out from the RP, I will notify you and would like that to be reciprocated instead of being ghosted.

Below, you will find a little about me, what my partners can expect from me, and what I'd appreciate them to reciprocate. It's organized all nice and fancy for your convenience.

• 
  Age, is not the highest priority for my partners as long as they're 18+. That and maturity. Don't get me wrong, I can be a crackhead at times, but an adult acting like a child is irritating so maturity is also a thing I look for in partners.

  I'm not a very strict person to role-play with. You'd never hear me say, "Hey, we're role-playing, talk afterwards". If you want to talk, by all means, speak. My ears are always open to conversation. I enjoy talking with my partners quite often so we can communicate about the RP and just have a good time. Plus when we engage in conversation it allows for ideas to blown up and either set free to float away into our RP or be popped then and there. If you wanna talk, I won't stop you. I like getting to know my partners.

  My English skills might not be top tier compared to others, but when it comes to grammar, I do my best to keep it proper and correct. My main fault though is that considering how quickly I can type, I make minor mistakes that often times slip past my eyes. If you're the first to notice this, don't worry if I haven't, I likely will when I read over my post and see the mistakes I've made. After that, I'll correct them of course. Now if you're someone to make constant and blatant grammar errors only to show no regard towards that bad grammar, I will ditch the RP. I won't be an ass about it, telling you that you're awful and I'm leaving. It will be a polite notification.

  Most themes I don't tend to mind. It's good to have a wide base so the roleplay can take a multitude of routes. Of course, everyone has the subjects they won't touch or just have an utter distaste for. For me, those things involve themes such as abuse, depression, slavery, and other such angsty themes.

  My main pairings are MxF and FxF. For the romantically inclined MxF role-plays, I will only play the male character. I don't have much experience with romantic MxM, and, I don't enjoy it very much. What experiences I did have, were lackluster. Ironic considering I'm bisexual.

  Posting, some people main novella, others stick to a paragraph, while there are those who play it safe with a comfortable 3-4 or even just two paragraphs. Then we have the one-liners of course. Now, while I'm more than fine with adapting my posts to what my partners provide, I like to stick somewhere in the realm of 2 to 3 well thought out and descriptive paragraphs. Novella is certainly fine in my book, more so when the characters and plots are especially engaging. I do not enjoy performing one-line roleplay and I see that our RP is devolving to such, I'll make it known so it can be remedied.

  1) Age not a high priority
  2) I like partners who maintain proper grammar.
  3) Post length I'd like to keep between semi-novella and novella. Though single, large, descriptive paragraphs are also welcome.
  4) One-liners are a no go 95% of the time.
  5) OOC conversation and RP planning is essentially a must as I like to communicate with my partners.
  6) Most themes are fine with me except for the ones I stated. There are probably more I haven't mentioned, but we'll cross that bridge later.

  Character options: Human only
  Muse A, a soldier of reconnaissance team Nova tasked with investigating a mining outpost that suddenly went offline on the frigid planet of Travar 12. Soon after deployment on the planets surface would they unveil the horrors that caused this outpost and its inhabitants to suddenly go dark. The chaos that would ensue after this discovery leaves Muse A suddenly stranded with Muse B on the hostile planet with little to no hope of escape. Can the duo make it out alive? Lets see.
  Information: Travar 12, a frigid planet under the watchful of a powerful interplanetary corporation known as the G.I.W. With a singular mining outpost established beneath this planets frozen surface as a test to determine the viability of sustained mining operations on this planet, the G.I.W was not aware of the dangers that lurked in Travar's crust. Far more threatening than the life that existed on the surface. An ancient parasitic organism, that was soon to infect the outposts personnel, would reap havoc among the unsuspecting miners and security personnel. With its hosts being transformed into highly lethal, hardly recognizable husks of what was once a man, the chaos this brought would be swift and efficient with nearly no survivors being present and the mining outpost suddenly going dark.

  Muse A, a skilled soldier of fortune is suddenly issued a new partner with no notice after the passing of their previous one. Muse B, new to the mercenary business doesn't exactly get along well with Muse A at first but as their time together gets longer and longer, eventually a trusting bond forms between the two of them. Will it turn romantic, or will it be strictly business between these two?
  Information: Rp begins with Muse A and Muse being informed by base intelligence to report in to the lead commanders office. It is here that they are introduced to one another and are told of their new partnership. After this, I have several missions planned in which the two will get to know one another better, but this is a very go with the flow sort of rp and I don't want it to follow a linear route.

  This is my only fandom here that I have been craving for quite some time, I have yet been able to find a partner able to fill the role I desire. This is a Halo fandom rp with faintly altered canon. In this faintly altered universe, female sangheili are also allowed to fight in the covenant.
  The year is 2553, the Human-Covenant war has come to an end and now multiple factions exist in the aftermath. My character is part of the ODST special operations command task force, and is tasked with scouting an F.O.B suspected of being occupied by forces of Jul Mdama's covenant. Their orders are to report back to regional command in order for an attack to be coordinated should the threat be real. For a good while, things go swimmingly well. After evading hostile forces and patrols, my character was able confirm that the abandoned covenant base has been reclaimed by forces of Jul Mdama. Beginning to return to their extraction point, my character is ambushed and captured by covenant forces for interrogation. With interrogation methods so far unsuccessful, the Mdama's forces turn to using much more painful methods in hopes of extracting information from the man. Your character, a typical Sangheili major grows more and more disturbed by the methods at which her superiors attempt to extract extraction from my character. It is known that many Sangheili respect the humans for their determination in battle and their will to die for one another despite their weak physical stature. Your character is no exception to this as she believes the humans as such but still believes in covenant ideology. Eventually, as time spent with my character goes on, and she gets more disturbed with the methods at which the man is being tormented for information, your character begins doubting her beliefs and her allegiance. Soon enough, they realize how the covenant and Jul Mdama were wrong and begins devising a plan to help break my character free and bring him to safety.
  Information: I actually want to have my character get tortured, either I can depict this or the partner if it is their decision. This is preferred to evolve into a romance in which these two will continue on with multiple missions after the war and sort of become a slice of life deal with planned events.

  Welcome aboard the S.S Korinada, a cargo ship that transports multitudes of items, resources, you name it, to the varying planets within the Milky Way Galaxy. Muse A and Muse B are stationed aboard the ship to server whatever duties they happen to specialize in and and live their lives pretty normally for employees on a galactic freighter. This is a slice of life plot.

  I don't have much to say about this one in all honesty as I want it to be a world building form of rp between me and my partner. This will be centered around a cyberpunk dystopian theme in which the beginning stages of a rebellion are forming against the oppressive militaristic government.

  Character options: Human or Monster
  Muse A is one of several military contractors hired as a security enforcer for a scientific company known as XenoCorps which is a new competitor in the market for medicinal research. His job there is simple, serve as overwatch for ongoing experiments, patrol the facilities, typical duties of a security guard. Well, that was until one night when the facility suddenly went on lockdown with the threat code "Alpha Red" blaring over the intercoms. Now with the facility on full lockdown and a severe threat loose, Muse A and other security personnel were tasked with protecting XenoCorps employees and containing or eliminating whatever this threat is.
  Option one: Muse B is a scientist or fellow security officer working within the XenoCorps facility.
  Option two: Muse B is one of the experiments, a very humanoid creature capable of sentient thought and emotion that managed to escape its confines and is now on a vengeful rampage throughout the facility before it gets killed, or saved. Who knows?

  Muse A is a detective investigating a string of murders across the city of Brentwood in which each victim was found with paled skin due to the lack of any trace of blood in their corpse. All that is found to be common between victims is a singular chunk of flesh torn from the neck which is exceedingly odd due to the lack of any detectable traces of blood on the victims corpse and the surrounding area. Muse B, is a vampire who is slowly losing their ability to control their hunger and increasingly takes human victims compared to animals or blood bags from the cities blood bank. They are truly remorseful for their actions, but as each day passes, they lose their battle of willpower more and more. Will the detective go out of their way to help this poor creature or act with a vengeance and seek to put Muse B into their grave?

  Muse A is a contract killer and criminal doctor known for his precision in their medical practices and his knack for fulfilling their contracts with poisons created from natural ingredients. His work has secured him the nickname "The Herbalist's Surgeon" and is both respected and feared in the criminal underground. Muse B, is a detective fresh out of the academy and tasked with tracking down Muse A and ending their career. One problem arises, when Muse B finally meets Muse A and begins interacting with them, it turns out he is a person much different than what the profile told. Will Muse B forfeit their career to love a killer? Will Muse A find out Muse B's secret and kill them too, or take a risk for the sake of romance?

  Muse A is a typical highschool student, good grades, a well off social life and a rather charismatic character known for their outgoing nature and helping others who need it. Muse B is the new kid, shy, not quite talkative, and a bit reclusive. But then again, aren't lots of people like that when they first arrive to a new school? Some would say so, but Muse B holds a secret. That very secret is what will eventually pull Muse A's and Muse B's lives together, for better or for worse though, is yet to be known.

  Muse A is part of a solo reconnaissance operation during the second world war, stationed in the Argonne Forest just after the Allied victory against the Nazi forces. Muse A's job is to recon the area just outside of the forest for enemy positions but all takes a turn for the worse when they happen to discover not an enemy position, but instead an abandoned bunker. Sealed up and locked away...Muse B is a singular German wehrmacht, separated during the battles within the forest and left on his own. Thankfully enough, Muse B knew English as they were a translator who translated captured radio frequencies for his division. This bunker though, would bring both Muse A and Muse B together. Not by conflict with each other, but with what laid within said bunker. Muse A was foolish enough to break in and investigate, Muse B was foolish enough to follow...Time for the two men to discover what horrors the Reich sealed away.

  Muse A and Muse B are both lifelong friends who happen to be obsessed with anything relating to the supernatural. Ghosts, demons, monsters, the possible existence of hell, cryptozoology, aliens, etc. Tonight they plan on investigating a patch of wilderness rumored to be the habitat of a local cryptid, a large creature that is an alleged bipedal beast with no hair and not a single eye. What is supposedly "known" about this creature is that it stands at anywhere from 5'6" to 6'6" based on sightings and is apparently docile. Tonight, the myth is proven fact in one aspect and false in another as the two fools find out the creature is by no means docile and the hunters are now the hunted...

  Very detailed zombie apocalypse, I have far too much information for this to be actually posted here. If you're interested in a truly rough, deadly, harsh and fearful apocalypse, PM me and I'll give you the details. Here is the lore however.
  In the early months of the year 2018 an extremely infectious strain of the flu began in Eastern Europe erratically spread throughout the world at an alarming rate, bearing with it a horrific and deadly secret... A virophage that hosted itself within this flu virus to spread as far as it possibly could. Once finally showing its presence, this virus was observed demonstrating astounding regenerative capabilities and genetic shuffling. Its its genetic code mutated rapidly on its own and in response towards attempts to discover a substance that could kill it, every test ended in failure. All scientific attempts to isolate and develop the vaccine were unsuccessful. Soon afterwards the virus was classified as a regenerative virophage and was named XC-01, xenomorphic contagion, being the first of its kind ever seen. This virophage began its global conquest by infecting the flu strain that was an epidemic in Europe and once inside an individuals thanks to the flu host, XC-01 would begin its course. This flu strain was merely a means for the virus to establish itself inside a new host and act independently inside the body and utilize the new human host to further spread it. XC-01's new form once in the body was stable enough to support itself as long as it remained inside the body. It is not waterborne or airborne, and perishes rather quickly in an open environment and infection can occur only through direct contact with bodily fluids into any open wound, eyes, or mouth. By the end of 2018 the virus and its infected hosts roamed the world, on a destructive path to eliminate the rest of humanity. By 2020, world government had nearly all but collapsed with small pockets still holding strong. Humanity was left to fend to their own devices in the new world and face the struggle to survive. By 2021 the world was nearly lost, but humanity held strong in their resolve and pockets of life remained throughout the world, the shattered remains of the U.S containing the largest survivor population from coast to coast. An estimated total of 427,000 individuals remained from the once large 330 million strong population. The year is now 2023, closing in on 2024 in this cold December month, you are a survivor living in the cold U.S North East.
