A QUICK RUN DOWN OF ORGANIZATIONS

Operation Ghostwalker: Abbrv - 'Ghost'

A rogue military operation full of human purists dedicated to eradicating HEF and preserving pre-Conclusion technology. Founded by Captain Hugh Hayden in 2087 after deserting Greathelm to save those from the HEF bomb. Ever since their founding, Ghost has aimed more towards helping those who have become infected instead of massacring them and instead has made it their mission to keep pre-Conclusion knowledge preserved for when reconstruction begins.

They tend to stick to pre-Conclusion weapons such as bolt action rifles and magazine fed assault rifles. Armor consists of salvaged Greathelm gauntlets, homemade body armor, rags, or a combination of the two. Ghosts are not too accepting of those with augmentations, so robots generally keep their distance, but hey do provide care for Zeds and mutants.

Greathelm:

task team made up of military personnel dedicated to eradiation of HEF by any means necessary. Generally hated and distrusted by the citizens due to their politics and trigger happy ways. Many Greathelm members are seen as arrogant, heartless bastards also attributed to their ferocious tenacity for killing HEF infected and raiding the sewers. Greathelm armor is highly sought after due to reliablity and damage threshold. Generally infantry, there are three classes of Greathelm:

-Azure Faction: The main footsoliders of the faction. Loadout includes a standard issue plasma assault rifle, plasma pistol, and taser.

-Emerald Faction: The big guns. Soilders in this faction have undergone intense training under extreme conditions. Normally seen only if Azure fails, lately they've been stationed in Greathelm bases Neptune Mine, Blackhill, and Morse, and the surrounding areas in the city. Emerald armor is almost impossible to get, as salvaged armor is like paper to their loadouts. Nobody actually knows what Emerald Faction's loadout is, but it's known to pack a punch.

-Opal Faction: These soliders specialize in black ops. They have High sneaking ability and are by far the most nimble of the three. Equppied with Knives and silenced pistols, Opals are called in when intel is required or recon is the main mission. Opals are placed all over Blackhill in numerous locations throughout the facility. They are considered main back-up for Azures. Opal armor is light yet strong. A standard 9mm bullet will not pass through it.

Greathelm and rest of the U.S. Government and its military is highly supportive of augmentations and robots. Many of its troops are augmented somehow.

General Union Electronics: Abbrev- 'GUE'

A pre-Conclusion faction that has kept its name, GUE is made up of robots and robot enthusiasts that provide free care and mechanical work to those with augmentations. Although hard to find, Gues are generally well-liked in the public's eye, as they are pacifists and tend to shu away from conflict. However, this tendency can come across as flaccid and avoidant to outsiders that don't know their purpose.

Gues don't wear armor. They don't have desire to. Weapons are always electric, but sporadic.

Civilians and non-mutants:

Civilians are the life blood of the city. These are people that are plain, regular people just looking to survive. They are different than rioters in that they do not engage in socially destructive behavior nor do they identify with a group of people. These people would be your scavengers, hermits, traders, and those living in shanty towns. Most civlilians have found at least one gun to use, although it does take some luck and pure skill to obtain one. Sometimes a trader has a few up for sale but they are very expensive. Clothing consists of rags found in the city or clothes pulled off of dead bodies. Armor is rare to find.

Rioters and Ragers:

The least friendly of all the organizations, these groups (tenderly nicknamed R&R) are nothing more than strung out rogues and thieves that seek to steal and pillage their survival from others. Although a rioter will never speak favorably of a rager and vice versa, they stand for the same ideal society: one without rulers and kings and government funding. The public views them as pests at best and as downright villains at worst. It's not uncommon for R&R to raid a shantytown of weapons and resources just to assert dominance. R&R camps are abandoned hospitals, schools, and houses.

R&R's wardrobe consists mainly of scavenged clothes, jeans, and boots or sneakers. Items that can take a lot of beating. Weapons are mainly melee such as baseball bats, homemade brass or spiked knuckles, and shanks.

Cyborgs, robots, and mutants:

The standard transformation operation from biochemical to mechanical is considered to be the last and only option for the infected. Although the government is granting a waiver to those who choose to become entirely robotic, many people still have not committed fully to the idea. These beings are known as 'cyborgs'. There are many dangers to becoming a cyborg,. As you might have read in Captain Roger Ellis' letter, you body can reject the robotics and cause you immense pain and suffering. This side effect has caused some cyborgs to become addicts.

Cyborgs have a general stance as indecisive bastards to Ghost and the military treats them like halflings, which is ironic since most of the military are cyborgs themselves. However, they are still welcomed by the Gues and the majority of civilians. R&R tends to be wary of them and usually will not attack if there are more are than one cyborg in a group. Cyborgs don themselves with scavenged clothes depending on where their augmentation is.

Robots

When a human decides to take the plunge and become immortal, all of their organic parts are replaced with robotics. These sentient beings are called robots, although the name itself is a bit of a slur against them. There is currently a debate ongoing in congress as to whether or not robots are still considered people, and this has trickled down into the cities and towns of the U.S. It has gotten to a boiling point. Robots are discriminated against by certain traders, humans, and sometimes even cyborgs.

full

Ghostwalkers will not interact with them, seeing robots as 'traitors' and turning their backs on them. However, Greathelm offers their protection to robots (and the occasional cyborg) because of their augmentations. Robots can be customized on a generic base. Weapons packages can be integrated into their body system, as can skin and hair packs, at either an upfront cost or a payment plan. Since robots still retain their sentience and consciousness, they do wear clothes. Robots however do require maintenance as they cannot heal themselves anymore.

Zeds are what mutants are collectively called across the land. These are organisms who have actually mutated due to the HEF virus. Mutations can range from distorted biological features to loss of ability. However, the mutants are immune to the virus that mutated them. This means that they don't have to worry about dying from the HEF virus. Zeds have had time to adapt to the dirty water and small amounts of sustenance in the sewer making them into survival machines.

Since many zeds are recluses, as they have taken shelter in the sewer systems since the beginning of the riots, they are generally humble and softspoken much like Gues. They welcome travelers through the sewer systems. Unlike Gues, they aren't pushed around easily and every single zed is packing heat. They may be ugly, but they aren't stupid.

I've decided to change the font. I haven't got around to it because work and stuff. Also, I didn't really ask for criticism, but thank you nonetheless. I know what I need to change. :)

[QUOTE="Revan The Courier]Sorry, but I could barely read it :) sorry.

Yeah I know xD That font is probably not the best. I'm going to change it to Roboto to flow better with the theme graphic.
