He rubbed his neck at her words, "Heh well I was worried you might try to murder me haha. But only kinda worried." He laughed a little, only slightly serious. He supposed he should have asked where they were going first instead of allowing his mind to get the better of him. But he was glad Namie had a place she could escape to. For him it was the arcade or a nice music concert but for Namie it seemed to be anywhere with animals. He couldn't help but let out another small laugh when she said she and him could ride Kuro into battle together. That would be kinda fun, as long as Kuro was safe after all.

Though his idea was more of a joke, Denki didn't want the horse becoming a target for villains to attack or anything like that. If Namie was serious about bringing him into battle eheh. Maybe they had a school for animals to become hero companions? Ah no a school for dogs and cats to become sidekicks? Could such a thing truly exist? Noooo. He nodded when she mentioned how busy her parents were. His were the same way but he always figured when he got older, he'd be pretty busy too, doing hero stuff of course. For now he wanted to enjoy all the free time he had. He did make a mental note to bring Kuro an apple next time. Maybe that would help? He had to wonder if Kuro got lonely waiting for Namie or her father to show up. Hopefully it still had some companionship.

"Hey, nothing wrong with old school." He nudged her a bit. He entered the large arcade and had to think, most games he enjoyed were fighting or single player so he had to think for a moment. "How good do you think your aim is?" He asked her, walking over to an old 80s style shooting game where you played as FBI agents trying to shoot their way up to a roof where they'd be lifted out of a civil war infested foreign city. He handed her a plastic gun attached to the game and picked up the other one. He was okay at shooters though it had little to do with skill or aim in his mind, the games could be a bit wonky.

"We're working together in this game so don't worry." He explained. "To reload, you take your gun away from the screen and fire, that reloads it. Then you can go back to shooting." He told her. Once he inserted a few necessary yen into the slot, they were ready to go. Denki took aim with his own plastic handgun and the two began to follow the game's cutscene as they were told they had a few stories to go before safety. Pretty scary but a possible foreshadowing of things to come. "On your right." He said as the game cut to a shootout as they began firing at the enemies coming from various rooms on their floor as they tried to cross to get to the next stairwell on the other side of the floor. Denki fired at a few bad guys, working with Namie to make sure they didn't get hit too much. "Not bad." He grinned to her as another cutscene started to show their progress through the next level now. She looked pretty good holding that gun. But any girl who played video games was pretty attractive, eheh.

Namie found it amusing that Denki would think she would lead him somewhere to kill him. She assumed he watched too many movies or read too many comics. How cute hehe. But then again, she also has a fair share of comics and movies so she can't really blame him for thinking like that. As they entered the arcade, Namie looked around. She usually stuck to single player games but at times she would come with a friend or two and they would all play some group games. But that was rare. She may be considered popular among her peers, but Namie never really clicked with anyone. She just got along with everyone but that was about it. There was nothing deeper between them other than just being classmates.

She blinked a bit at his question. Tilting her head to the side, Namie told him, "hm, I don't think I'm that bad, why?" Following him to a game, Namie looked curiously at it. Oh, she's seen people play this before but she never really played it herself. She picked up the gun and looked at it while listening to his explanation. Sounded simple enough. She nodded her head as she smiled over at him, "sounds like fun!" And she could play with Denki? Score~! Taking aim, Namie focused on the game as the storyline changed to the shooting part. She took the gun and aimed. At first, it took her a bit to learn how to reload faster, but she was getting the hang of it.

At Denki's warnings, Namie helped him shoot at their targets. She grinned over at Denki and winked, "hehe thanks~ You're not too bad yourself." She smirked over at him before turning to face the screen as it changed back to the fighting part. This was quite fun. The pair went quite far in the game but they weren't able to make it to the very end. Namie pouted slightly before laughing, "ah, that was fun. Did you want to continue or should we go try something else?" They tried the game one more time before they left to play some other games. Spotting a horror game up ahead, Namie grinned as she tugged on Denki's hand, "oh~ Wanna try that one?" She wasn't really one to get scared of horror related things, only one thing can scare her and that was clowns. That was about it for her really. She grinned over at Denki as she lightly teased him, "you won't get scared~ Right?" She smiled playfully at him before the two decided to play the game.

It was similar to the shooting game except they would be trying to kill zombies and other monsters as they try to find a way out of the maze. Oh, how exciting~ As long as clowns don't appear, she was good. So far the game only had zombies, some creepy dolls and whatnot, but no clowns. Good good. But as they entered a new level, Namie felt her face pale slightly as she noticed it was circus themed. Uh-oh. So when a clown appeared on the screen, Namie jumped in fright and hugged onto Denki tightly, her face burying into his chest. She stuttered out, "s-sorry...I-I can handle anything but clowns." She closed her eyes, argh and she was the one who made him play this game! So lame!

Denki was enjoying his day so far. It had been an interesting morning in which he woke up to Namie and then he got a few affectionate pets. They went out to eat, he met an interesting horse and now they were playing arcade games. Overall, he was pretty happy with the way things had progress. He had been surprised here and there but he was quite glad to have someone like Namie in his life. She was pretty fun to hang out with and yet she found a way to surprise him more often than not. He liked being able to go out and have some adventure, it took his mind off the stress of attending UA. Sure, hanging with Ruka or Eijiro or Kyoka was nice but it felt a bit different being able to spend time with someone outside of school.

Even though they got pretty far, the bad guys wound up overwhelming them and Denki was sure it would take a few tries to get past that level. They decided to try one more time and wound up getting killed once again in the crossfire. The blond could just throw up his arms and laugh. Sometimes games weren't meant tobe beaten. But they could try another day. Denki turned to where namie's attention was as she tugged him over to another shooting type game. It looked spooky. "Naaah I won't get scared." He waved a hand. Not much really got to him except certain people at certain times. Like Ectoplasm or sometimes Aizawa.

As they progress, Denki suddenly noticed Namie wasn't shooting with him. Was she okay? He looked and noticed her actually hiding against his chest. Oh?! "You okay?" He asked. Maybe she had seen something to frighten her? "Oh...heh I got this then." He nodded as he took her gun and decided to just play for them both. "Don't worry, those clowns don't stand a chance!" Denki assured her, quite glad to be the hero though he really was worried about how upset she was. But he knew everyone had a weakness and he made a mental note to not dress up as a clown when Halloween rolled around. Soon he beat the level and decided it wasn't much fun playing without Namie so he ended up letting himself get eaten by a pack of rabid werewolves.

He looked back down at her and placed his hand on her head, smiling gently. "Why don't we play something a little less uh clowny?" He patted her head before he went off to find a more calming game for Namie so she could go back to smiling and enjoying herself. Denki found a fun Mario Cart racing game and he settled down in the plastic seat. He heard Todoroki was hoping to get his drivers license but he wasn't sure why the guy would want to be stuck in traffic but he thought maybe if he had a girlfriend, it would be useful to pick her up and not take the bus. Hmm. "Whoever finishes before the other has to treat the winner to a soda?" He suggested to her.

AiAi AiAi

Closing her eyes tightly, Namie mentally berated herself. How lame! She was the one that teased him into playing this game and in the end she got scared. He must think she's weak or something like that now. Trying not to tear up, Namie nodded her head as she kept her face hidden in his chest while he beat the clowns up. Yes! Beat them up! Er, that was very hero-like, right? But they were evil clowns so it's all okay though, for Namie, all clowns are evil. Wondering if Denki finished the level, Namie felt a warm hand atop her head. Peering up at Denki curiously, Namie nodded her head. Ah, he was being mindful of her fear for clowns! That wasn't what she was trying to do.

Hiding a frown, she followed Denki to another game. Making a mental note to not try scary games in front of Denki. At least when she doesn't know whether clowns are involved or not. Taking the seat next to Denki, Namie smiled slightly. Oh, racing games are fun! As she turned to Denki, she grinned at his idea. "You're on~! Just to let you know, I'm quite good at these racing games hehe." She picked Yoshi as her character. The two had quite the blast but in the end, Namie won as she jumped up and down cheering, "hehe! I told you I'm good at these." She smiled up at him but he didn't have to buy her a drink or anything like that. Just the two hanging out like this was more than enough of a treat for Namie. Hehe.

Looking around, Namie wondered what else they should play with, "Hmm what else did you want to play, Denki-kun?" She glanced up at him before noticing a photobooth. "Oh..." Namie murmured aloud wondering if Denki would like to take pictures with her? Nah, boys don't like those things, right? Tearing her teal gaze away from it, she smiled over at Denki, "did you want to try that dancing game over there? Or maybe another racing game?"

The race had been pretty close, but Namie ended up beating him. Pouting slightly, he watched her jump up and down, not too shy when it came to celebrating her victories heh. He grinned, deciding the best racer did in fact win but he would be practicing back at his dorm for another rematch soon enough. "Well done, Name-san. Next time I may be the one taking the lead heh." He told her. Though when she dismissed the idea of him treating her, he couldn't help but hide a disappointed frown. Whether he won or lost, he had still hoped he could have sat down and shared a nice soda or milkshake with Namie but since she wasn't interested, he was open to playing a bit more games.

Whatever she wanted, he was cool with going with the flow of things. Denki wasn't sure what they could play. He figured a fighting game but girls weren't into those and if they were, it was more button mashing than anything else. His eyes caught sight of a machine that had a huge wall of lights and when they lit up, you were supposed to press them to turn them off. The lights were about as big as an adult hand and were a bit soft. The wall was about six feet tall and four feet wide and it looked like the more you hit and turned off, the higher your score was within the allotted time. He looked to Namie, thinking it would be fun to see who could hit the most lights.

"What about that?" He asked her, pointing to it. They headed over and stood on one side of the two sided wall and the game began. Denki moved around, hitting whatever lit up. He crouched down and kicked a few lights and then had to jump up high to hit new ones that would come on. After about a minute, the game ended and Denki found himself quite out of breath. It looked like he won this time but that was likely due to his ability to hit the higher ones. Since he felt like he had picked the last two games, he decided to have Namie decide next but it seemed like what she wanted to do wasn't a game exactly but some kind of photo booth.

"Sure, let's give it a shot." He didn't mind taking some goofy photos with her. He grabbed her hand and headed into the tight booth and threw up a peace sign as the first shot was taken. He then leaned over and made moose antlers with his hands on either side of Namie's head. He grinned and stuck out his tongue for the third photo and on the last one, he looped an arm around Namie's shoulders and nudged his head against hers. All in all, he thought it was pretty fun. if only he could have dressed up in costume. He'd look so cool. He looked at the pictures and nudged her. "Not a bad Saturday afternoon huh? I'm pretty stoked we could hang out even more." He hoped she no longer felt scared or worried. He wanted to make sure his friends always had a reason to smile. "If we bring Kyoka-san and Eijiro-kun, we could all play together." That would be fun to have a four-way race or something. "Oooh~ You think we could all fit in the photo booth?" His eyes sparkled as he released a few excited charges from his cheeks.

AiAi AiAi

Drinks can wait, but for now, she wanted to play more games with Denki. She smiled over at him before following his gaze to a large wall filled with...buttons? Tilting her head curiously, Namie followed Denki to the game. After getting the gist of what the game was about, Namie stood next to Denki and gave him a grin, "best of luck~" Though something told her she was going to struggle in this one. Maybe it was how high the wall felt as she stood in front of it, the buttons looming over her petite figure. Staring up at it, her teal hues hardened with determination. Though no matter how much she tried her best, Denki ended up winning. It was near comical at some points as Namie would be seen jumping up and down to reach for the high points but be unable to reach them. She pouted slightly at her loss, but she was soon smiling, "you're too tall Denki-kun." She giggled lightly as she joked about her own lack of height. Ehe.

Namie wanted to try the photoshoot and so she asked Denki, "its not really a game...but do you want to try that?" She pointed over at the photoshoot and was quite happy that he seemed fine with it. She blushed slightly when he grabbed her hand and led the way. Ah...stop Namie....he was just being a good friend and nothing more. Entering the small space, the two soon began to make silly faces for each picture taken. Namie winked for the first shot as she made a shooting motion with her hand. For the second one, she made peace signs as Denki made antlers on her head. She couldn't help but giggle at that. For the third one she puffed out her cheeks as she poked each side of her cheek with her index finger and for the last one, she blushed slightly as she leaned happily against Denki, her head nuzzling against his. Oh, her heart couldn't take that one.

Glancing at the photos, Namie agreed with Denki, "yeah, today is a great day." She smiled over at Denki as she thanked him, "thank you Denki-kun for hanging out with me like this today..." and hopefully they can hang out for a while longer? At the mention of bringing his other friends over, Namie nodded her head happily, "oh sure! That sounds like a lot of fun!" At the mention of them all fitting in the small photo booth, Namie thought over it. Surely with Eijiro's big build, it'll prove to be a bit difficult, but since she and Kyoka were both rather petite, it shouldn't be much of a problem. As she watched Denki get all excited, she giggled slightly as sparks shot out from his cheeks. How cute. She felt her heart warm up as she told him, "I think that's possible. We should definitely invite them over next time hehe."

The pair played a few more games before Namie reminded Denki, "why don't we get the drinks now?" She grinned over at him playfully as she winked while saying, "I haven't forgotten that you owe me a drink~" They walked over to grab a drink. Namie decided on cookies and cream milkshake. Taking a seat across from Denki, she thanked him while adding in cheekily, "ah, the victor's drink always taste all the better, did you want a sip?" She pushed the drink towards him while popping the cherry into her mouth. She twisted the stem in her mouth and stuck her tongue out, showing a little knot. "Neat trick, right?" Namie said with a slight laugh. She always fiddled with cherry stems that she got a habit out of making knots though there is also the saying that those who can do this trick are great kissers...but she wondered if Denki knew of that saying?

Maybe there was some other kind of photo booth that was bigger and could accommodate a bigger group? Surely those existed right? And they could probably even decorate them? He remembered hearing Ochako say there were big photo booths in some mall in the city where she and the others had gone out to take pictures and decorate them with icons and words and cute things. Denki thought it sounded fun, plus he saw a picture Ochako showed him with Iida wearing digital cat ears and whiskers and Midoriya saying some cute American phrase but Denki wasn't sure what it meant heh. But he was sure Namie and the others would have fun as it was clear girls liked photo booths. They played a few more games from air hockey to fighting to another racing game.

Soon Namie brought up the idea of getting a drink. Oh yes, he'd happily get her a drink. She did earn it after all. They each got milkshake, though his was chocolate strawberry mixed together. He also bought some fries since he enjoyed dipping those into something sweet heh. Sitting across from Namie, he took a small sip and looked up when she offered some of her so-called victory's shake heh. "Awh sure." He nodded and had a taste. It was pretty sweet, a bit too sweet for him but he was glad she liked it. he dipped a few fries in his own shake, finding it a funky but yummy flavor. The bitter chocolate actually cut through the sweetness of the strawberry which was helpful and then the saltiness helped balance it out. Looking up, he spotted what Namie was doing but could only tilt his head, not sure why she had put a cherry stem in her mouth. Did she want to eat it? The boy blinked a few times when she took it out to reveal a light knot. Oh, huh?

Of course Eijiro was going to fill Denki out on the meaning of her showing him that but for now, Denki remained totally obvious to her talent or possible implication. "Yeah that is pretty cool." He didn't think he'd be able to do that though, he'd probably just choke on it and die heheh. He pushed some of his fries to her, wanting her to help herself if she wanted any. He drank a bit more of his milkshake, trying not to think about midterms coming up. Urgh, he needed to ask Uede-san for notes, maybe she would show mercy on him? Grinning, he decided to just focus on today and not worry about how scary the future seemed. He was sure Namie had her own midterms at some point too and he was pretty sure based on what she told him, she was top of the class yeah? He wondered how top students managed to study and have fun at the same time. It was almost a mystery.

"Hey have you ever been to the beach? It's a few stations away but it's pretty nice. We should all go there sometime." He suggested to her. "We gotta enjoy this summer sun before fall gets here you know?" But then again fall meant leaves and cider. "Hey, how does Kuro handle the snow?" It snowed on and off in the city but hopefully the barn or stable were enough for the guy. He then thought back to all the other Zoo animals and frowned a little.. What would they do? Ah the Zoo probably handled that okay when it happened. Still he did worry about the animals, as silly as it seemed heh. Drinking a bit more of his drink, he licked his lips. "Oh, did you want some?" Denki got so wrapped up in his worries from school to animals, he forgot to ask Namie after she did that little tongue trick.

AiAi AiAi

Namie couldn't help but grin slightly. Oh? He didn't know? How cute. She felt almost bad about teasing Denki like this as she was certain her best buddy, Eijiro would definitely be scolding Denki while telling him about what a knot of a cherry stem meant. She giggled slightly at that thought before taking a few fries at his offer. She dipped it into her shake, finding it a bit of a strange thing to do. Sure, she's seen others do it often, but she never really tried it out herself. It had a slightly salty yet sweet taste to it. Hm, not bad. She dipped a few more fries into her drink as she nibbled on the sweet and salty treat.

She thought about school and wondered what sort of midterms U.A. would hold. Her school was pretty basic. She was at the top for the general studies, but for the hero course, she wasn't the best, but she wasn't the worst. She just did her best and hoped that'll be enough. Ah, but with that mindset, she could never compete with a U.A. student huh? They were always going past their best, plus ultra right there. Hehe. Namie admired U.A. just like any other aspiring heroes her age.

Sipping on her drink, she blinked up at him at the mention of the beach. Hm? She's been to the beach, yes, but it has been quite a while since the last time she's gone. Smiling widely, she nodded her head, "oh yeah! I'd love to go to the beach with everyone! It's been ages since I've been to the beach!" Oh, now he was getting her all excited for the beach ehe. Looking out the window, Namie agreed with him, "yeah, you're right...before we know it, it'll be snowing hehe." She grinned over at him but at the mention of Kuro, she blinked over at him. Eh? Kuro in the winter? Smiling, she couldn't help but ask, "aw? Are you worried about him? Thank you~! During the winter, Kuro usually stays in the stables, but he is pretty tough so he likes to go for a walk out in the snow, but I have this little er well not little but there's a coat we put on him. If he goes for a walk, we put these little straps around his legs too! But you know what's the funniest part? He actually likes the snow hehe." More often than not, Namie would find herself riding Kuro in the snowy white land while trying not to sneeze.

Knowing that Denki cared even for the animals warmed her heart greatly. He was a perfect hero in her mind! He not only cared for the people, but also for the animals! She could feel herself getting more and more drawn to him. Hm? Snapping out of her thoughts, she leaned over and took a sip of his drink at his offer, "mm! It's pretty tasty." She told him with a smile. The two continued to talk about various things before walking out of the arcade. Stretching slightly, Namie said, "ah~! That was so fun~!" Oh but there was still so much time, "um, was there anything you wanted to do?" She didn't want to leave just yet...hanging out with him, just being with Denki was fun.

Genkai Genkai

The beach would be fun. Maybe for his upcoming birthday they could do that? He was sure Eijiro and the others would love another day at the beach, minus their teachers so they could all have some real unsupervised fun. "We can bring games and blankets and grill up some burgers and really have a big day of it." He nodded, already getting a bit too into the idea. He was thinking this time not to invite Mineta or Bakugo, those two often caused a bit too much chaos when it came to the others in the class. That and he also didn't want Bakugo yelling at everyone and getting into unnecessary competitions. Plus Mineta was a tiny purple perv and Denki could only mitigate his creepy actions for so long.

And if Namie-chan was going to be there, Mineta would have all the more reason to be a weirdo. Yeah, no. Denki wasn't going to subject poor Namie to Mineta's actions. "The snow is gonna be so awesome." He loved sledding and snowboarding and even skating. Plus he and the guys had sneaky snowball fights with each others by the dorms. It was pretty cool heh. Cool. When Namie mentioned Kuro was okay in the snow and even liked it, he couldn't help but chuckle. Kuro seemed pretty tough. Denki was still a bit nervous but he could tell Kuro meant a lot to Namie. And perhaps Namie meant a lot to Kuro too?

"He'll stand out in the snow." He commented, thinking the horse would look even more powerful in a white landscape. They soon finished their drinks and fries and headed out of the arcade. When Namie mentioned what they could do now, he really wasn't sure. He was going to go back and try to study a bit but he could do that tomorrow huh? "I'm not sure...we could go to the mall and look around a bit?" He suggested to her. The pair wandered over to one of the nearby malls and looked around some of the shops. As they walked past a cooking store, someone reached out and stopped them.

"Excuse me, we're one couple short and need to fill spaces. We're shooting a short demo and need one more couple." A man said. "Would you two be interested? It would only take an hour tops and it's a free demo on making a chocolate souffle." The manager explained. Denki rubbed his neck. Huh? He and Namie-san weren't a couple! But he didn't think that detail really mattered at the moment heh. He blushed slightly and looked down to Namie. "Uhh sure...dear...wh-what do you think?" Denki looked to her, free dessert was a good on any day right? Plus he'd rather pretend to be with Namie than say Eijiro or Kyoka, but this wasn't too weird right?

AiAi AiAi

Imagining all the fun they could do out in the sun and beach was making Namie's eyes sparkle in anticipation. Oh yes, they definitely needed to do that! "Yes! That all sounds so so fun! We should plan one soon?" She was already thinking of the many fun things they can do from watermelon bashing to just swimming in the ocean. Oh! She'll need to go and find her swimsuit, but if not she can always buy one. It can't be her school swimsuit, that would be no fun. No no, it had to be something cute~! That way even if Ruka was there, Denki won't be looking at her...hopefully. Ehe.

"Ice skating and just having snowball fights would be quite fun huh?" Maybe she can invite Denki out for some ice skating? If not, she would definitely love to invite him out to take Kuro for a walk. She can just imagine the three of them walking in the white snow. Oh right, since Kuro was all black, his sleek fur was the complete opposite in the white snow. She giggled as she nodded her head in agreement, "he does stand out, but its so pretty~ You'll have to see it when the snow does come out." She offered to Denki with a soft smile. Yes, make more plans for the future, that much was allowed, right?

At the idea of going to the mall, Namie cheered slightly as she was happy to be able to spend just a bit more time with Denki. Yes, any time spent with Denki was fun for her. Ah, the moment she realized her feelings for Denki, the harder it was to stop it from growing. Each minute spent with the blonde boy was making her feelings for him grow all the stronger. Oh, this was bad huh. She had it quite bad~ As they walked around the mall, they were suddenly stopped by a person. Huh?

Listening to the man's explanation, Namie's face turned pink. A c-c-couple!? Her and Denki!? She glanced over at him and upon hearing him call her dear, Namie almost fainted. Ah...that was just too cruel. Blushing, she smiled over at him as she wrapped her arm around his while saying, "sure! I'd love to try that out, honey~" Hehe. Okay, now she was getting too happy. Control yourself Namie! Walking in after the guy, the guy explained what was to happen while handing Denki and Namie a matching black and white apron. Oh, this was cute. Namie helped tie Denki's apron on before letting him tie her's. Oh, this was too good to be true. Feeling her heart squeeze happily, Namie stood by Denki by a counter as the camera started rolling.

As the chef in charge began to direct each couple on what to do, Namie couldn't stop her smiles. She was being mistaken as a couple with Denki and it made her this happy. Oh, oops he probably thought this was weird right? Giving Denki a reassuring smile, she helped Denki out with mixing the dry ingredients into a bowl. "This is fun, right?" Namie asked him as she brought out the eggs and milk.

He had been a bit fearful Namie wouldn't want to play along with this ruse of sorts. He knew Kyoka would just punch him and yell at him while Eijiro...well Eijiro would probably go along with it a bit too convincingly. But the promise of a free dessert and helping someone out was too good to pass up. Plus they might get to be on tv or something. Or maybe just in the store's tv or something. He wasn't too worried about the details. This just sounded so fun. He laughed at Namie calling him honey. Oh yes, he could be her honey for the afternoon. It was almost like having a real girlfriend huh? He tried to push thoughts out of his head like what Todoroki and Ruka called one another. Urgh, his heart couldn't handle those kinds of forbidden thoughts. No, today was about fun with Namie-san!

With the help of Namie tying the back of his apron, he was all set. He would be an Iron Chef like Morimoto-san maybe? Denki looked to the other couples and rubbed his neck. Was this okay? It was a little weird but also funny. He looked to Namie, wondering if she was okay with this but she looked happy. Denki followed along with the others but like most of the guys, he was just following along while the women took the head heh. "Yeah, I love chocolate." He laughed a little. He didn't do really any cooking or baking because he lived in the dorms. So he wasn't sure how to really help but he was going to try!

The blonde helped mix up the wet ingredients as Namie worked on the dry ones. He noticed some of the other couples being a bit cute around each other and he looked to Namie, figuring they should do that too. Right? He leaned over and nuzzled his head against hers, a few sparks coming out. Uh oh. Couples probably didn't nuzzle their heads together right? Eheh. Denki scratched his cheek a little and thought back to the kiss at the dance. It really was nice even if it was an accident. But he knew for sure couples did kiss. They mixed everything together, it soon becoming a chocolatey whirlpool of goodness. He took some on his finger and poked her cheek before he leaned over and kissed it, making sure none of the chocolate remained. "Hehe, gotcha babe." He said playfully, the camera panning over to them for a few moments.

AiAi AiAi

So he liked chocolates? She'll have to keep that in mind. Namie held back a giggle as she helped Denki mix in the ingredients together. At least a chocolate souffle didn't require too much work as it just involved a lot of mixing. As she was mixing up a bowl of the dry ingredients mixed in, Namie paused as she felt something soft against her head. Huh? She looked over to see Denki leaning closer to her and w-w-was he nuzzling against her!? Her face turned red as she did not know what to say or do to that. W-Why was he doing this? She blushed, but she couldn't help but enjoy it as she nuzzled back against him, letting out a small giggle. She smiled over at him as she asked, "how's your end doing, honey~?" She couldn't help herself. Just for now...just for today, can she pretend to be his girlfriend?

Noticing how the other couples were acting quite lovey-dovey, Namie assumed Denki did that because of it? Hm, that made her a bit sad thinking he did it just for that and not because he wanted to himself, but she'll just enjoy it for today. Today was an exception, right? Combining the wet and dry ingredients together, Namie let out a small squeak when he placed some chocolate on her cheek. Before she can try and wipe it off and get back at him for it, he leaned over and kissed it off of her. W-What!? Her eyes widened slightly as she blushed deeply especially when he called her b-b-b-babe!? Ah, now she was feeling quite happy as her face felt quite hot. Urrrrgh! Denki! He had no clue what he was doing to her poor heart!

It didn't matter whether the camera was on them or not. It didn't matter that it was for some free dessert, all Namie knew right now was that she was going to just let herself indulge in this sweet treat in front of her. And no, it wasn't the souffle. Pouting slightly at him, Namie was soon grinning as she scooped up a bit of the chocolate and placed it on his nose which she, in turn, licked off. She gave him a playful wink before leaning up to kiss his cheek, right near his lips. Ah, she was really tempted to kiss his lips, but she wasn't sure if she was allowed that much. Winking at Denki, Namie told him, "I got you too, baby~" Hehe. This was getting too fun for her. Was she allowed to enjoy this to this extent? She hoped so~ The pair placed their cake in the oven. Namie peered into it and smiled, "oh I can't wait to see how it turns out~"

Soon they were given their little cakes as gifts for participating in the show, but before that, each couple was given a few minutes of sharing the sweet treat in front of the camera. Namie cut out a slice of it and placed it on a plate. Picking up a bite with the fork, she held it out for Denki as she smiled up at him, "say ahh~" She told him sweetly as she held it out, but at the last second, she swerved the fork into her own mouth. She stuck her tongue out playfully, "just kidding~" She told him with a wink. Ehe, she couldn't resist.

It was pretty fun to joke around like this. Denki had to think this is what couples did on the weekends, just wander and get pulled into crazy antics right? He still couldn't believe a cute, bubbly girl like Namie-chan wasn't taken. But from what he could see there was nothing wrong with her at all. She was so sweet and fun. But maybe no one at her school caught her eye? But what would her type be? Hm? Maybe someone super hunky and outgoing? Girls loved to swoon over those confident guys right?

Denki was confident, sometimes. Most of the time he was more relaxed and just happy to get along with everyone. He didn't like being super macho and starting fights like Bakugo. And he wasn't exactly suave or smooth like Todoroki seemed to be. But still, Denki had to hope he'd find his own girl to sit back and enjoy life with. It was just hard sometimes when it seemed like everyone had someone but him. But maybe Namie felt the same way? She was waiting for the right guy like her soulmate? Who was his soulmate anyway? Were some of these couples soulmates? Probably.

Shaking his head, he found his thoughts disrupted by a bit of something wet touching his nose before something even wetter followed. He blinked and laughed at Namie, ah yes she did get him back huh? "Heheh yeah you did." He nodded several times. He was glad she wasn't one to get shy or squeamish about a little bit of chocolate. As they got ready to taste, he opened his mouth to accept some chocolatey goodness but whined when she only fed herself. "Aw no fair!" He pouted and took a bite for himself.

"Mmm we did good huh?" He tasted it. It was light and moist. He didn't think he'd try making it himself ever but it was good to try new things, even just once right? He thanked those around them before he looped an arm around Namie's shoulders and headed back out with her, finding that to be an interesting little adventure. "So you wanna walk around some more? I wonder if another shop will rope us into making cheeseburgers or something!" He laughed. Why not? It was almost dinner time and he wondered if he could take her to dinner before their day of adventure ended.

"Oooh or a free sushi class would be fun too!" He couldn't help but ponder as he walked with her to see what shops looked interesting. The blond was sure this day would be one he'd be thinking about for a while and he hoped it was a good day for Namie as it was for him. "Since you pretty much live on your own it seems, you must be a good cook right?" He asked her. Ruka was the same way and even Uede it seemed. "You know, our cafeteria has the best food but sometimes I do miss home cooking from someone you know...you know?" He commented, his mind still on food it seemed. His mom had him over often enough but he wondered what comfort food meant to different people like Namie.

AiAi AiAi

Giggling lightly, Namie nodded her head in agreement, "yeah, it's delicious hehe." She smiled over at him and fought down a blush when he placed his arm around her. Ah...stop it. Her heart wouldn't be able to take it. Thankfully, Denki's cheerful voice cut through her hammering heartbeat as she smiled at his words. Giggling, she told him, "hmm I wonder? But that would be great actually haha." Yes, another time to pretend to be a couple...yes, she would love that. Even if it was just pretended, she still quite cherished the time spent together. As they walked around looking at various stores, Namie noticed Denki mention some more food. She giggled, "is someone hungry?" She couldn't help but tease out.

Perhaps they should start looking around for someplace to eat for dinner? Ah, but maybe he wanted to go back to the dorm? Namie blinked a bit at Denki's question. Eh? Cooking, her? She gave him a small smile as she told him, "hmmm, I wouldn't say I'm a great cook, but I do cook for myself." She doesn't make anything extravagant like Ruka would, but she can cook meals just fine. She nodded her head, ah yes, she's heard rumors of U.A.'s cafeteria having quite the delicious meals, but she never really got to try it out before. She smiled softly at Denki, did he miss his home?

"I understand what you mean, home cooked meals can't be beaten, right?" She recalls when she was a child her mother would cook dinner for her even if she was busy. Namie always loved that part of her mom she supposed. Blinking, Namie offered with a smile, "I can always cook for you whenever you'd like?" Realizing what she said, Namie continued, "a-ah I mean, it won't be the best cooking around...but if you'd like...I...I wouldn't mind..." she glanced off to the side, her face slowly turning red. Ah, why did she just say that!? Not knowing what to say, Namie blurted out, "u-um I'm getting kind of hungry with all this talk about food, w-wanna get dinner...?" She gave him a small smile, unsure of what he would say after she blurted something like that out of the blue.

A bright blush crossed his face and a few sparks escaped his golden head of hair. Ah! He wasn't trying to fish for an invitation to her house! It was unintentional and he hoped Namie didn't think that's what he was trying to get her to do. But it was very nice of her to offer and he hoped she wasn't just saying that to be polite. He enjoyed any home cooked meal and he was sure Namie was a very good cook. He glanced off as she began to stammer but her voice felt faint in his ears as he was just worried he had said the wrong thing and didn't mean to upset Namie. It seemed like he caused her some sort of trouble again huh?

"N-no! I er...um I'm sure you're great. I'd love to try your cooking sometime!" He tried to tell her, trying not to stumble over his own words too. He didn't want her to panic or anything but that was too late huh? He frowned and glanced down at his feet. He hadn't meant to put her on the spot or anything. Stupid Denki. He finally looked back to her, "Y-yeah let's find something to eat." He said, his stomach always seemed to get him into trouble. The pair found a cool noodle bar and sat down to enjoy some bowls of noodles. Denki slurped a bit and couldn't help but try to feed some to Namie but they only ended up making a mess.

Laughing at themselves, they continued with their dinner, chatting about school and their own classmates, Denki had forgotten about his silly slipup back there. He and Namie split the bill and he began to head back to her place with her, wanting to make sure she got back okay. And this time he was very much aware of their surroundings, keeping an eye out for anything or anyone out of place. As he stood on her doorstep, he placed his hands on her shoulders, trying to offer her reassurance. "Did you want me to stay again tonight?" He asked her with a warm smile. He didn't want to leave her alone if she still didn't feel safe.

Maybe he could invite Eijiro and Kyoka and Izuku over and they could have a little party of sorts? Of course it probably wasn't wise to invite people over to Namie's place without her permission. He was so glad she had gone with him to the dance but he hated to think in doing so, she had gotten attacked. He felt a bit responsible for that but also as a hero in training, he couldn't let those he cared about get hurt. Denki would do whatever it took to make sure Namie felt safe and secure and could smile without worry. His hands rubbed her shoulders slightly as he looked into her eyes. "If you want, we could invite some others from your class and mine and have a big sleepover of sorts?"

The extra day off from school or work for his case was much needed. He was able to spend time with Mela and enjoy a nice dance with her and then some. Shota would say it was nice to see Mela enjoying herself and the dress really was beautiful on Mela. After enjoying their weekend together, their fun time had to come to an end as school was up and running once again. Shota was dreading Monday, but it came whether he liked it or not. And so the long week began once again but at least he had Mela besides him. Though at times Ayumi would pop by and annoy him, but other than that Shota was having quite a normal week of watching over his students while also spending time with his girlfriend. Recalling how there was going to be a party held by Mela's family soon, Shota was getting himself mentally prepared for that, but nothing would have prepared him for what happened during one of his patrols one night.

It happened way too suddenly as Shota was ambushed by a group of villains who were seeking revenge against Eraserhead for capturing a couple of their men. Shota was confident of taking them down easily, but with each provoking word he threw at them, the group got more violent. He didn't expect for nearby civilians to be present since it was quite late in the night. He ended up protecting the civilians but in turn, he got himself quite injured on the shoulder while also fracturing an ankle and well there were plenty of bruises and cuts as well. He was able to defeat the villains and turn them into the police once the civilians were out of harm's way and boy did he let them know that it hurt. Shota was merciless against his assailants.

But now he had a new problem and it was one he was having difficulty solving compared to defeating a group of villains. Mela. How was he supposed to attend her party in his state!? The party was the next day and even if after receiving some medical treatment from Recovery Girl, he was still quite battered up. Sighing loudly, Shota glanced over to meet Mela's gaze as he told her rather apologetically, "I'm sorry Mela...I'm not sure if I'm able to attend the party in this state..." he reached out and gently caressed her cheek with his hand as he wondered how he can make it up to her. He knew she was looking forward to the party for quite some time and Shota was secretly excited for it as well. Not only would he be able to see Mela all dressed up again, but he would be meeting Mela's parents again and this time since it was her family's party, he could have stood proudly beside Mela as her boyfriend...but no...this had to happen instead.

His stubborn side was kicking in and Shota was ready to insist he can attend though he probably shouldn't dance, surely Kurotsuki can dance with Mela instead? Despite that sounding to be quite a possible happening, Shota knew better than to arrive battered up to Mela's party. It won't look good on him as his parents won't be convinced of him being able to protect Mela and all that. Why was being an adult and a pro-hero so difficult at times? Shota let out another long sigh. He wondered if Mela would invite Midoriya or something like that...a very displeasing thought and now Shota was thinking of giving the green-haired male and a certain bespectacled one a ton of homework...a teacher's authority...right? Right.

The school dance was...interesting to say the least, but it ended on a good note so Ruka wasn't complaining. On top of that, they were given an extra day off from school so she was happy about that. Being able to spend her time with Shoto was left her beyond happy and Ruka knew with Shoto, she was very happy and content. The two spent a relaxing and much-needed weekend together but alas all good things must come to an end at one point. Or well..at least regarding school it does. So with Monday starting, Ruka and Shoto were back to their usual routine. This week Ruka was paired off against Momo which was probably a relief to Shoto but with Mela's family party coming up, Ruka was more bothered about the fact that Yukito may or may not be attending as well.

To the Pinkette's great relief, her so-called brother was actually quite tied up with work that he would not be attending though he has been bugging her constantly over the course of the week about a new dress design for her to wear for the party. Holding back an irritated sigh, Ruka can only look to Shoto as her solace for the upcoming party. She wasn't as against it as she was for her own family's party since this was held by Mela's family, but any social gathering especially formal ones had her on edge. She never liked 'representing' for her family as she never really associated herself with them, but being forced to keep an image of the Kurotsuki heiress, Ruka must attend. Even if she wasn't, Ruka would attend because it was Mela's party, she would never miss a chance of that...even if it meant enduring long speeches and formal greetings while stuck in high heels for a few long hours and dancing on top of it all? Yeah...she can easily endure it for the sake of Mela. Plus this time she can bring Shoto as her date~

With the party coming up soon, Ruka was looking forward to spending another weekend away with Shoto, but with unforeseen events occurring with Rei, Ruka found herself without a date for the party. She didn't want to make Shoto feel bad or upset about not being able to attend so over the phone Ruka told him cheerfully, "it's alright Shoto, I understand. Please be with your mother...I hope she is fine." Ruka was worried about Rei and as much as she wanted to go and check on the white-haired female herself, she found that she was unable to due to all the preparations she must do before leaving for Mela's party. So on Friday during lunch, Ruka found herself wandering the school grounds as Shoto was suddenly called by the institution where Rei was staying at. Not wanting to bother Mela during her lunch, Ruka found herself in the greenhouse just admiring the flowers.

Sighing softly to herself, she found herself with the company of Denki to her surprise. She blinked a few times but sent the golden-haired boy a smile as the two have slowly rekindled their friendship once again, much to her delight. "Oh hey, Denki-kun, what brings you to the greenhouse?" Sharing her bento with him, the two chatted for a bit before the topic as to why she was here alone came up, "oh um well there was a family emergency that Shoto had to go to...and well.." with a long sigh she ended up spilling the party details to Denki and how she had no one to bring with her and knowing Mela, she'd be busy with her boyfriend and all that. Lower lip sticking out in a slight pout, Ruka was more concerned that Yukito may get wind of this and would forcibly drop all work just to attend as her 'date'. Face paling slightly, Ruka was desperate in trying to find a way out of that most possible predicament. A sudden light bulb went off her head as she slowly looked over at Denki. He could do. Yes, he could definitely do it! Ruka was more comfortable with Denki than the rest of her classmates and there was no way Mela would approve of Katsuki coming along. Ruka was certain that would just prove to be...destructive if her and Katsuki went to a dance together despite how good of a dancer Katsuki is. Shaking her head free of the explosive blonde, Ruka turned to face Denki with a pleading pout on her lips as she looked up at him, "Denki-kun, I know this is sudden, but do you think you can attend Mela's party with me? Please?" Surely Shoto would understand, right? Because Ruka already had a feeling Yukito was just around the corner just waiting for her...urgh.

As Mela sat beside Shota in Medical Girl's little office, she was more worried about Shota than her party. Her parents would understand, though she had been hoping to show off Shota a bit more at her own party. And she was secretly hoping for a romantic night together but it seemed that was off the table. "You shouldn't worry about the party, it's...silly." She sighed softly when he traced his palm against her cheek. Mela leaned against his touch like a cat. "Please, just focus on getting better." Mela pouted, wishing she could stay and nurse him back to health. But if she showed up with her boyfriend, people would just being to speculate and her father may try to match her up with another loser. "My poor hero." She leaned over and kissed his cheek lightly, resisting the urge to get in bed with him but since it was lunchtime, she wasn't sure if someone might let themselves in. That would be trouble right?

Her parents would understand why Shota couldn't attend but that would probably reenforce their prejudice against pro heroes always being busy and then getting hurt. But Shota was just doing his job and Mela felt no resentment or anything like that towards Shota. If anything, her heart broke for him and wished she could do something to help instead of fretting. As much as she wanted to have Ruka be her date, she didn't want Ruka to not bring a friend if she wanted. Since Todoroki was gone today and tomorrow's morning rematches, she was sure Ruka could find someone to ask in his place. Anyone but Bakugo. Heck, even Mineta would be okay. Well maybe not. Still, Mela had to bring a guy, even just a friend. Iida-san was likely used to these kinds of formal functions. Midoriya was probably too shy to enjoy himself. Maybe she'd hunt down Tenya before they broke off to practice. "I could probably..."

Before Mela could offer to skip her own family's party, Ayumi-sensei barged in and suddenly Mela was pulled away and then pushed out the door by a very forceful Witchya. Mela heard the door slam behind her. What just happened...? She rubbed her neck and glanced over her shoulder weakly before she headed off to track down Iida-san. She would see Shota-kun after school, hopefully he took tomorrow morning off and left the assessment to All Might? Before she could make it to the cafeteria, she spotted a lanky blond up ahead. Oh? Was that Toshinori-san?! Her eyes lit up as she ran over and hugged him from behind. "Heeey Toshinori-kun!" She grinned as she let go and dashed around to face him, just in case he didn't know who had ambushed him. "This is gonna sound random but do you wanna runaway with me tomorrow after school?" She teased him. "Mmm my family is having a party and Shota-kun got hurt."

"So I need someone to go with me or people will say things..." Like Shota wasn't her boyfriend anymore, well they may still think that. "Plus, there was this weirdo from Ruka's party a while back and I bet he's going to be invited to this one so I'd love someone to protect me from that guy." If Mela was left on her own, the guy would have an unfortunate 'accident' hehe. What was his name again? Urgh, it didn't really mattered. But surely Shota-kun would feel less weird about her bringing someone as innocent as Toshinori, rather than some teenaged boy like Tenya? If Yagi-san wanted to go, of course. Otherwise she was fine with dragging Iida along, even if it might be a little awkward. "So what do you say, Toshinori-san? It's in Tokyo and we'd probably have to stay overnight but we'd be back Sunday morning." She explained. "My family can put us up somewhere closeby." Maybe she was approaching this too suddenly. "If you're busy or uncomfortable, I'm totally fine asking someone like Iida-san so no pressure!" Yes, she was sure Iida was a good second choice. But she wanted to ask Toshinori because they were starting to spend more time together like they used to. And that made her very happy. She clasped her hands behind her back and gave the blond an innocent smile. Who wouldn't want an adventure with her as a guide?

"I swear, it'll be a good time, lots of sweets and you may even get to see me perform some ballet." That was a guarantee.

The party had been very enjoyable, more enjoyable that Shoto had assumed it would be. He still didn't really like to dance much, he always felt stiff and like he was doing something wrong. He also wasn't too happy being in the spotlight. Of course training to be a hero was another matter altogether. There, he was working to become a fighter and he didn't question himself. But dancing and looking sophistical, yeah Shoto was a bit uneasy about that. So when he heard Uede had a party of her own, he wasn't too excited about it. Nope. He enjoyed Ruka's because he got to meet her mother and father after dating for a little bit. That was an important milestone but he had no real interest in meeting Mela's which he'd probably have to do formally if he was a guest of theirs. But he would still go along with Ruka and was sure they'd have a good time together. He was interested in seeing more of Tokyo and having some alone time with his pink haired girlfriend.

Maybe they could recreate a bit of their last trip into Tokyo?

But these thoughts were shattered when he got a call on Thursday morning on his way to school. His mother had a medical emergency and needed to go into surgery. And Shoto happened to be her emergency contact, obviously, so he took the day off, along with today. It was unlikely he'd be around tomorrow for rematches as well but his mind was nowhere near school, let alone the trip. His mother, Rei was n surgery all day. Due to her slight age, it took doctors a bit longer than expected. So Shoto didn't leave her side as she recovered. But today, she was starting to wake up and stay awake for longer periods. He didn't even bother going home to deal with his father, instead, he had Midoriya stop by his house and grab some his things for him, not wanting to trouble Ruka. He felt rather bad about this sudden wrench in their plans. Even if he didn't want to go, he didn't want her to go alone.

"Please, feel free to invite someone to go in my place. But ah...not Bakugo or Mineta." He said, not sure either of those two would even be allowed in Uede-san's home. He did feel silly about that stipulation though. Hopefully he wasn't out of place saying that. "Rei is doing okay, she's in pain but she is healing well. I love you, I'll try to see you when you get back Sunday." He said, his voice filled with sorrow. He didn't like being away from Ruka but he was sure he understood the dire predicament he was in and he was sure she would have a good time. Hopefully she would invite someone like Momo who probably knew all about these kinds of things. But still, he was secure with his relationship with Ruka and knew even if she invited someone like say, Denki, he didn't have anything to worry about. He hung up and looked back to his mother who was slipping in and out of consciousness.

Reaching out, he took her hand and kissed the top of it. She didn't have anyone really. The other siblings were busy and doing their own thing, wanting to put as much physical distance between them and Enji as possible. Maybe someday Shoto and Rei could also escape the man's shadow and abuse. Shoto did like the idea of saving people in other cities and even other countries. But was that the kind of future someone like Ruka could enjoy? Or was he getting ahead of himself? He shook his head, wondering if it too soon to be thinking about such things, even if they did give him a warm flutter of hope. "Rest easy, mother." He leaned over and placed his hand over her forehead. Upon feeling her warmth, he used his quirk to gently cool her off. For now, Shoto would call Ruka and text her and maybe Sunday, Rei might be strong enough to have a short visit? He was sure Ruka would want to see Rei and maybe cooking something for her. Rei's surgery had gone well but still, they were making her stick to clear fluids and maybe in a few days, introduce soft food. He took his phone out with her other hand and then sent a message to Ruka. [Hey love, I hope your Friday night goes well. I'm thinking of you.] As much as he wanted to see her, even for an hour, he would never forgive himself if something happened to Rei when he was gone.

So far, Ayumi had adjusted well enough to life in Musutafu. Oh yes~

She had gone out to plenty of bars and clubs. She had also enjoyed her new job at a modest agency. And the more she went on patrols, even though they were at night since she had this other job teaching at a certain hero school, during the day, she was becoming more recognized. Yes, Witchya was becoming more popular but she still had a ways to go. Hopefully her influence would ensure villains would think twice before doing anything shady. But she also wanted to empower future female heroes. She felt pro heroes were still dominated by men which was slowly changing. And Ayumi wanted to bring that change a bit quicker heh. So she enjoyed her patrols, enjoyed people watching and helping others in needed. Even the minor crimes like someone losing their phone or some public domestic dispute between a bickering couple, she was happy to help!

So when she heard about Aizawa's incident, she felt horrible. She wasn't working that night but she couldn't help but feel some kind of disturbance somewhere, at some point. But these premonitions of sorts weren't easy to decipher so she thought it was just another strange feeling and that if it was important, she'd figure it out. But when she heard about Shota at the staff meeting in the morning and saw him hobble off to see Medical Girl after he saw to 3-A, she knew she had to do something. A pro hero didn't sit around when others were in danger! Or er in pain! Ayumi flew off during lunch and was surprised to see Uede-chan looking at her teacher with such concern. Hm, was she fishing for a better grade? Tisk tisk. "Oi, Uede-chan, go find your little girlfriend. Aizawa needs lots of rest." Ayumi smirked as she grabbed Mela by the shoulders and yanked her back and then pushed her out the door, leaving no room for argument.

Slamming the door, she sighed and glanced back to Aizawa. They still didn't get along but she was hoping to prove to him just how nice she. Yes, she was a sweetheart! Hiding her smirk, she walked over and sat down where Uede just was. "I read the report. Shame on you." She smacked him on the back of the head firmly. "What were you thinking?! Not calling for backup and then making the situation worse by taunting them?" Men. She would never understand someone needing to go into battle so headstrong. So reckless and thoughtless. "You could have gotten even more seriously hurt. What if the people you were protecting got hurt because of your taunts?" Sure he may have tried to divert attention from them and thus to himself, but he was still so stupid. "If you had a girlfriend, she'd probably stangle you. I know I would." She folded her arms across her chest, giving him a glare.

Shota had to know the risks. Obviously he wasn't stupid, despite acting like it. She was worried about him! To her, this was obvious. What if he had gotten captured or killed? Maybe she needed to start keeping an eye on him during her own patrols? That would be fun! She would make a game of it and see how much she could get away with before he caught on! But for now, she wanted to do something for him. "You're staying home tomorrow, I can help All Might with assessments." She told him before she slowly unfolded her arms and picked up the lunch tray she snuck in from the cafeteria. "I'll personally make sure you and Mi-chan are taken care of." She insisted as she set the tray in his lap. It was miso soup, rice, grilled eel, a salad and some fresh fruit along with some tea. "You know you could have called me, I would have loved to fight alongside you..." Though his hero name totally escaped her at the moment. Whoops. Ayumi looked to Aizawa, her stern expression falling as she decided she had lectured him enough for the time being. But she was still firm about her offer, she was going to make sure Aizawa didn't fall out of bed and land on the cat or something. Someone had to look after him. If not her then who? Hizashi? Leaning over, she grabbed his cup of miso and took a sip before laughing. "You know I did make a copy of your key so I'm already halfway to being your nurse~"

Life was looking up for Denki. His grades were beginning to improve and he and Ruka were beginning to reconnect as friends. It was still a bit painful to think about but he had to tell himself he wasn't her soulmate, that soulmates were something she and Todoroki believed in and he wasn't about to try and ruin whatever they had. He could tell they were happy together. Denki did care for Ruka but he was beginning to think that maybe these feelings weren't meant to be romantic, that his soulmate was out there somewhere, waiting to be found. And Denki couldn't give up on her, whoever she was, wherever she happened to be. Denki would become a great hero and be able to protect the one he loved, even if he hadn't caught up to her yet. Or maybe noticed her, even if she may be closer than he knew. The blond was enjoying the week and the training, it was much better than the dance.

Yeah, Denki, like most guys, wasn't into the dancing or dressing up part. But he did have a good time with Namie though he did accidentally kiss her. Aaaand that was his first kiss. It was embarrassing but also nice. And he and Namie did have a good time together, though he was still worried about her safety. If only she didn't live across the city, he would insist upon walking her to and from school. He felt bad about what happened or what almost happened. But he did enjoy spending time with her so in a way, it did bring them closer together. He decided the best way to be a good friend to both Namie and Ruka, was to get stronger. He would protect all of those closest to him. Eijiro, Kyoka, and everyone else too. And Peachy of course! Denki was eager for the weekend, mostly because a new game was coming out and he was eager to play it. His grades had been improving this little personal reward heh.

So come lunch on Friday, he decided to enjoy a bit of the ground and wandered into the greenhouse. He saw Ruka and jogged around her, trying not to knock any pots over. "Hiya Ruka-chan." He grinned. They chatted and soon Denki was caught up on everything that had happened recently. He felt bad for Todoroki, even though he didn't care for the guy, he loved his mother and knew if something happened to her, he'd be a wreck. So he hoped Todoroki's mother made it through okay. But he was sure Ruka was doing her best to be strong for him. Hopefully her own mental and emotional health wasn't neglected though. He was sure the party would be okay, even if Ruka had to be Uede's date. A brief image of them kissing flashed through his mind and he blushed. "Huh?" He didn't even hear her at first. "Uh you want me to? Really?" His chest tightened. As a friend, of course! "S-sure!" He couldn't say no to her, that much was obvious. He didn't even think about what it would entail.

He should have at least given it a minute to mull over.

"It'll be fun." He assured her with a thumbs up. He didn't want her asking anyone else. Plus it really would be fun. But was this okay? Was this something friends could do together? "Just text me the details and I'd be happy to be your plus one!" He assured her. So much for a relaxing gaming weekend. "I'll catch up with you after school?" He asked as he saw Eijiro banging on the glass outside, trying to get his attention. "Sorry." He smiled before he jogged out and went to see what Eijiro wanted. The two talked before Denki found some time to call Namie, deciding she would be the best source of advice. They had a little bit of time before lunch concluded. He dialed her number and waited, feeling a bit anxious for some reason. He didn't know why though. "Namie-chan! I hope I'm not bothering you!" He greeted. "I need your help. Ruka-san invited me to go to a party tomorrow night in Tokyo, as friends of course! But...how do I best not cross any lines? Can you give me any advice?" He wanted to be on his best behavior and not mess anything up. "We're finally getting back to where we once were as friends...I just don't wanna do anything to make things weird...do you think this is a good idea? I mean she must trust me right? If you were her, how would you want me to act? I'm sorry I'm unloading this onto you." He was quite nervous! Could you tell?

As he packed his duffle bag with a change of clothes and his suit, Toshinori paced around his living room in a silent panic. He was trying to recall how this all began...how he agreed to go to Mela's party as her plus one. Coming to a stop, Toshinori paled slightly as his heart rate began to increase from a calm beat to a faster thudding in his chest. Shaking his head, he recalled how he was simply walking through the school on his way to go tend to the gardens and looking forward to seeing how Mela and his other students were doing. They had an extra day off from the weekend and that was something he thought everyone needed. Normally, he would be spending his lunchtime with Mela, but today was a bit different.

In the morning meetings, Toshinori along with all the staff was informed of Eraserhead, or Aizawa-kun, getting injured during a patrol. He was surprised to know that Eraserhead was hurt, to begin with since the silent man was usually very careful about these things, yet upon hearing more of the story it seemed like the hero was protecting others while also fighting. Now that made more sense. As much as he was worried about Aizawa-kun, Toshinori knew Mela would be by the dark-haired male's side for as long as she was allowed. He held back a frown as he knew he wouldn't be able to do anything about that. Yes, he still cared about Mela and had feelings for her, but he knew it wasn't reciprocated as her heart was taken by the silent hero. Of course, Toshinori wasn't sullen about that...only a bit, but! He wasn't and that is because all he truly wants is for Mela to be happy and she was...so he will be happy too.

Though as he was wandering around the school, he ran into Mela or rather the girl came running to him. He was a bit flustered and surprised by her affectionate gesture but the more she spoke, the more things...escalated and before he knew it, he was agreeing to go attend Mela's family party over in Tokyo. He blinked a few times wondering how he should explain these things to Aizawa-kun. Oh but...Mela would surely speak to Aizawa-kun, right? Right...there was nothing to worry about. With that in mind, Toshinori headed off to school as All Might, ready to watch over the matches alongside Ayumi as Aizawa was forced to rest at home for the day. He would be lying if he said he wasn't nervous about going to Tokyo with Mela. Sure, it wasn't as All Might, but he was still going to a dance with her...and as a plus one...that usually entails as a d-d-date!? His cheeks took on a pink tint before he coughed into his hand. No no..he mustn't put much thought into it. Plus, if he didn't go, Iida Shounen would have gone and somehow that didn't sit well with the blonde pro-hero, surely Aizawa-kun would agree too? After the morning class, he would go grab his bag and then he along with Mela would ride the train to Tokyo, yes everything sounded just fine.

It was a relief to know that Denki can come along. Ruka sent Mela a text to let her friend know that she found a plus one and to also make sure Mela had one as well. If Mela didn't then Ruka can easily go as her plus one if she'd like...but then that'll probably bring up questions about both of their boyfriends. Holding back a sigh, her Friday night turned out to be rather quiet as she cooked dinner for her and Mela while texting Denki to let him know the details...but of course, Yukito would show up. This time a sigh did leave her as she gave Yukito a rather tired expression. It seemed like the energetic designer was simply here to drop off Mela and Ruka's dress along with the boys matching outfits. Ruka blinked a few times as she then had to invite Yukito for dinner so she and Mela can explain to him what happened. Immediately Ruka told Yukito that she already has a plus one as he looked quite eager to go.

Looking at the suit that was supposed to be for Shoto, Ruka wondered if Denki would be able to fit it? Maybe she can just snag the tie and whatnot? Her night ended with her feeling rather lonely for once. Shaking her head, Ruka knew that if anyone should be needing comfort and support, it was Shoto. She hoped he was faring well along with Rei. Ruka can't really imagine how it must feel since she isn't really close to anyone in her family...but she supposed if Yukito had to suddenly undergo surgery...she paused as she shook her head. Yeah, it was unimaginable...but she wanted to be there for Shoto in some way yet here she was going away to a party of all places. A frown settled on her lips as somehow that felt so...unfair. Granted she wasn't there to have fun, but still. She had to go as a representative of the Kurotsuki family plus it was Mela's party...she can't really skip that.

Her night turned for the better when she received a text from Shoto. Smiling softly, Ruka sent one back: [ Make sure to rest too and let me know how Rei-san is feeling. I love you.] As much as she was tempted to tell him that she missed him or that she feels lonely, Ruka didn't want to make Shoto feel bad or anything like that. It was only natural to miss her lover, right? Sighing, she retired for the night and was instead getting mentally ready for her match against Momo. In the morning, Ruka went to get ready for her match. She lost the first match against Momo as she was caught off guard by a cannon that shot out a net and pushed her straight out of bounds and into the wall...stuck. Yeah, she wasn't expecting that. But this time around, Ruka was prepared. Wanting to win not only for Shoto but for herself, Ruka defeated Momo in her rematch and was soon apologizing to the taller female as she didn't mean to burn her friend's clothes like that. With her match done, Ruka watched the rest of the matches while sending a text to Shoto to see how he was doing. After this, she had to go home right away and get ready for the trip to Tokyo.

As much as Mela reassured him that everything was fine, it still didn't sit well with him. Shota gave her a deep frown but with each affectionate kiss and gesture from Mela, his frown slowly eased away. He let out a deep sigh, he was about to tell her to take Kurotsuki or some other girl with her to the dance, but just as Mela was speaking the door opened up. Shota's dark hues glanced over to see who it was and he held back a groan as he noticed it was the one person he didn't want to see right now. His eye twitched in irritation as Ayumi practically pushed Mela out of the room and before he can even get a word in, Mela's brown head was out of view. Shota let out a deep sigh as he pinched the bridge of his nose. What did he do to deserve this?

As he looked over at Ayumi, Shota opened his mouth to complain when she suddenly hit the back of his head. A deep scowl was displayed on his face as he sent the witch a glare. What the hell was that for!? Who on earth goes and hits an injured person? Taking her as not any normal person, Shota kept his tongue in check as he patiently listened to what she had to say and what valid reason she had to hit him like that. It better be a damn good reason why she did that otherwise he would ask her to 'kindly' leave. He could feel a headache incoming as she continued to scold him like a child. He knew what he was doing and those villains had something against him! Not those innocent bystanders! How can he be a hero if he just let others get hurt!? Letting out a scoff, he told her, "I'd like to think my girlfriend would actually care." And he quite didn't care what she would do. The thought of them being a couple...he blinked a few times. A strange thought indeed.

As she placed a tray of food onto his lap, Shota stared down at it in slight surprise. Why couldn't she just do this, to begin with instead of just smacking him like that!? Lightly glaring at her, he let out a slight huff, "I'm fine. I don't need you to care for me..." it apparently was falling on deaf ears as she then mentioned about having a spare of his keys. This time he gave her a full glare as he told her, "that is technically called trespassing..." and stealing his own damn house keys. Did he have to go and change the locks or something now!? Letting out a loud sigh, Shota leaned back into the pillows as he wondered how he got stuck in this mess, to begin with. First, he can't attend Mela's party and now Ayumi was going to take care of him!? No thanks!

Going to the dance with Denki was an eye opener for Namie in many ways. She was able to first-hand witness Denki's skills as an upcoming hero and then her feelings for the blonde male was also something that came to be. Well...granted she probably had feelings for him since the first time she met him at the school festival, but with this, it reaffirmed her feelings for him...it was brought to acknowledgment by the green-haired healer as she was never one to fall in love so to speak. So with each given chance, she would hang out with Denki and it was just great! Namie smiled to herself as she was looking forward to this Saturday as she was once again invited to come over and spectate U-A's finest heroes in training fight against each other.

Though on Friday, Namie received a phone call that she was not expecting. She happily picked it up as it was from her crush, Denki, "Denki-kun! What a pleasant surprise! What's the matter?" As she listened to him speak in a rather frantic manner, the smile slowly slipped from Namie's lips as she stared at nothing in particular. Eh? He was invited to go to a party in Tokyo by Kurotsuki-san? But...why him? Why now? Namie knew how Denki felt towards Ruka and despite the male himself stating that it's only as friends...Namie couldn't help but wonder. Was that really it for Denki? Surely...he was still not completely over Ruka?

Pushing aside her ever-increasing thoughts, Namie forced a smile to her lips as he asked her for help. Eh? How was she to help him? If she was in Kurotsuki's position...what would she do? Namie knew for one thing that she would have definitely picked Denki over Todoroki any day, heck she'd probably pick Denki over anyone really. Smiling that he could even hear it in her voice, Namie spoke up, "I think just being yourself is perfectly fine Denki-kun! I'm sure Kurotsuki-san would want you to enjoy your time too, otherwise, she'll probably feel bad? And if she asked you out of anyone else, it must mean she trusts you or at least puts you in a different level of comfort compared to others? Well, either way, I think you should just go and have fun! Enjoy all the yummy food for me hehe." Despite her happy voice, Namie felt far from that. If anything, she felt rather stupid on encouraging Denki to go and be with the girl he used to or possibly still like. But...above all, "I just want you to be happy and have fun Denki-kun if you ever need to talk, I'm always a call away~"

To have Toshinori agree to go was fantastic news. She assured him that it would be very fun and that he shouldn't worry because she'd handle everything. Mela assumed any worry was due to accommodations or something like that and nothing emotionally questionable. Mela assured Shota she'd be okay and that she and Toshinori would be back before he could even begin to miss her. She would find a good souvenir for her poor bedridden boyfriend of course. She was worried and hoped he focused on getting better and maybe he could visit her parents when he got better. When Saturday morning arrived, Mela had her things packed and with her since Toshinori offered to drive her and him to the station after class got out.

Mela's match against Toru was a victory for the young brunette, it had been pretty touch but Mela was happy to not be knocked out of the ring by the invisible girl. She waved to Ruka who would catch up with her plus one, Kaminari. He was a funny choice and Mela had to hope the blond didn't doing anything stupid to embarrass her. This was her family's party and who she and Ruka brought did reflect upon them. But they had guys so that was better than no one right? Plus she would get to show Toshinori where she grew up. Once she changed into her street clothes, a simple yellow dress and brown strap sandals, she headed off to find Toshinori near the front gate. "Thanks again for driving." She smiled as she walked with him to his car.

Once her bag was put in the back with his, they drove off to the station which was only about fifteen minutes away with light traffic. Hopefully tonight would be fun for them both. When they got to the station, they had some time to wait so they bought some drinks from the vending machine and soon Denki and Ruka showed up. Mela waved them over, "So Ruka, this is Yagi Toshinori. And Toshinori-san, this is Ruka." Of course she had told Toshi all about Ruka and how epic she was. "Oh and uh that's just Denki." Mela waved a hand before laughing at the boy with the headphones around his neck. Surely Toshinori knew the faces at least. The train pulled into the station a few minutes later and the pairs got on. Mela sat off with Toshinori while Denki and Ruka sat a few rows back.

Toshinori and Mela enjoyed looking out the window at the things passing by while chatting about things to do before summer finally faded away. Mela wanted to see some fireworks with Shota for sure. But she heard from her mother, something about some festival going on at I Island. That would be awesome to check out, if possible. When the train pulled into their station, she got off with the others and they headed off to hotel they'd be staying at. Mela's parents took care of their hotel stay and it was only a short ride to her home. Mela's parents of course would have them driven to her residence once everyone was changed. Mela and toshi got up to their room and Mela handed him the card key as she set her bag down...on the one bed. Hm. This had to be a mistake right?

"I guess we'll have to share?" Or they could worry about it later! Mela waved a hand and grabbed her dress and things and want off to get changed in the bathroom first. she slipped into gold and blue mermaid dress. The inside was a detailed blue with various hues and patterns while the outside had a light golden cream color adorned with dark blue and light blue. It seemed to go with Toshi's hair and eyes, interestingly enough. Mela stepped out as she was fixing her bow around her neck and her single long glove. Yukito made her feel like some sort of Arabian princess! "All yours~" She gestured to the bathroom as she sat on the bed to slip on her shoes.

It was troublesome to be away from school for a few days. While Shoto didn't feel like he'd fall behind, he did still feel like he was missing out. Not just academically but socially with his peers. He was surprised when Ruka called to say she was taking Kaminari along. Was that the best choice for some fancy party? Bu then again Kaminari was pretty harmless and easy-going so Shoto wasn't too concerned for the guy tagging along. He was glad it wasn't someone worse. He was sure the two would have a good time and would be back soon enough. Shoto wished he could go in her place and enjoy some more Tokyo based memories together but he knew there would surely be other gatherings to attend and that Ruka was understanding of Rei's situation.

Come Saturday, Shoto woke up with a blanket over his shoulders. He still hadn't been home yet and had no intention to. He stayed in the chair despite it being so uncomfortable. His back was incredibly sore and he wanted nothing more than a lovely massage from Ruka-chan but maybe that could wait. He sent her a good morning text and wished her luck on her match against Momo-chan. He got to his feet and stumbled a bit, groaning in pain. He looked over to see Rei still sleeping so he went out and walked around the area to stretch his limbs. He thought about Ruka and the party and tried to ignore the guilt radiating in his chest. No, Denki would take of things and make sure no one tried anything with Ruka.

But maybe Shoto should have warned the kid about Yukito? Hopefully he was too busy to attend. He made his way back to the room in time to see breakfast being brought to him and Rei. The nurses thought Shoto was so sweet for staying over and never leaving her side. Shoto sat down beside his mother and began to eat. "How is Ruka-chan doing?" "She's well mother, she's attending this party tonight in Tokyo." "You should go, don't stay here on my account." Rei frowned, not wanting to ruin Shoto and Ruka's plans. "There will be other parties, mother. But I only have one of you. I can't enjoy myself if I know you're here, alone and in pain. Ruka sends her love and understands. Please don't feel bad, I just want you focusing on getting better." He smiled, holding her hands in his, tightly.

Ayumi was unfazed by Shoto's remarks. No, no he could huff all he wanted. "You know I think I have a nurse's outfit somewhere." Yes, she would make sure Shota was back on his feet by the time Monday rolled around. "Just eat or I'll force you to eat." She threatened. Soon it was time for her to go teach, unlike a certain someone, she left him alone for the time being. But Ayumi said she could fly him home after class as it would be a lot easier than him trying to drive or take a cab. After class, she did just that, despite his complaints. Once she made sure he was tucked in and Mi-chan had something to eat, Ayumi left to go patrol for the night, keeping a sharp eye out for anyone tied to that nasty group that got to Aizawa.

When Saturday rolled around, Ayumi flew off to watch the matches with All Might who ducked off a bit early, mentioning something about needing to get ready for something but she honestly didn't care enough to listen to the grinning pro hero. Ayumi graded and locked up and flew off to go see how her pesky patient was doing. Stopping by a store, she grabbed some food for them and let herself in after knocking. "If I knock first, it's not trespassing!" She called out before she closed the door behind her. She gave Mi a small meow before she headed back to see Shota in bed. "The class did very well for rematches." Ayumi said, knowing he'd want to know about that before anything else.

"Now, let me dote on you. You can be my little pet haha!" She sat beside him and patted his head. Pulling out a small can of soda, she handed it to him. "So how's the ankle?' She asked him. "You know I could give you a bit of a massage or maybe make a little potion or healing salve." She suggested as she pulled out a coffee and cracked open the can before she took a sip. "I'm guessing you haven't eaten all morning?" She glanced to him. While she wasn't too much of a cook herself, she could make him something. Or they could order something to eat. "I could try to make something or we could order something." She suggested as she pulled Mi into her lap and gave her some scratches behind the ear. How could Mi-chan get spoiled by such a stingy old man anyway?

Ahh Denki still wasn't sure if this was okay or not. Would Todoroki try to beat him or? Or set him on fire? He wasn't sure if this was really okay but Namie sounded like this was something that Ruka wanted and that there was probably some good food there. Yeah, he would focus on the adventure and not so much the fact he was taking someone else's girlfriend to some big fancy party. But they were friends. This would be proof they were friends. Ruka found him in no way romantically attractive. She had her soulmate and she was probably going to live happily ever after with the guy. And Denki? Well he'd probably die alone at this rate. He wasn't sure he'd ever find his soulmate but at this point, he'd take any cute girl who even smiled at him.

But maybe it was better to just go with the flow? He had good friends and he had to focus on being a good friend himself. And being a good hero too! He just hoped this wasn't going to tick Todoroki off or Uede-san off somehow. But surely Ruka had told Todoroki her intentions and he had to be okay with it right? That night, he talked to Eijiro at great length about how he should act and what might be expected of him. Just great, more dancing probably. Urgh. He made sure Eijiro would look after Peachy too. But when Eijiro said he might go see a movie with Namie-chan while he was gone, that somehow rubbed Denki the wrong way. But he couldn't place his finger on as to why. Of course those two should hang out.

He tried not to think about them dancing at the 3-A dance. Heh. There wasn't anything going on between them. Eijiro would say soimething if there was. So he focused on getting his outfit put together before his match against Mina-chan. The next morning, he ended up beating Mina once again and couldn't help but give Namie-chan a thumbs up when he walked over to her. When the rematches wrapped up, he waved to Namie before he went to the dorm to get his suitcase. He took a cab over to Ruka's and then they headed to meet Uede-san and her plus one...who happened to be UA's groundskeeper? Okay then. On the train ride, Denki and Ruka listened to music and watched online videos together while chatting about how things were going. It seemed so wonderful and normal.

The train pulled into their designated station after an hour and they got off. Denki stretched and rubbed his face. Why did travel wear him out? But he would be on his best behavior for Ruka and Mela's sake. "Hold on guys, say cheese!" He took a picture with the group in front of the station before they went to the hotel together. Denki sent the picture to Namie and Eijiro who probably wanted to know when he made it to the city. He was both excited and nervous. When they headed up to the room, Denki opened the door for Ruka, trying not to blush at the fact they had to share a room to begin with. Why did he feel like he was being tested? But they would have two beds of course.

Aaaaand they had one bed. What the hell?! Making a face, Denki knew he'd be on the floor tonight. He was a gentleman! twiddled his thumbs innocently and wondered if he should text Eijiro and Namie for advice but before he could worry further, he was told to change. Right, they didn't have much time before they had to go to Mela's house. He was expecting something normal, boy was he wrong. Denki went into the bathroom and slipped into a dark navy blue suit with a white collared shirt. He had on a matching navy blue bow-tie and his hair was bit more tame than it usually was. "Heh, hope I clean up okay." He smiled to Ruka as he stepped out to let her change into her dress. He caught a glimpse of it and knew she'd look exquisite.

Arriving at U.A. All Might watched over the match alongside Ayumi in place of Aizawa-kun who was taking a day off. To be honest, All Might was a tad surprised that Aizawa didn't show up since even when in extreme conditions, the dark-haired pro-hero would still show up. Perhaps someone made him stay, but who? Mela? It had to be her otherwise who else would Aizawa listen to? Not wanting to get too distracted, All Might focused on grading the students along with Ayumi before hurrying off once the matches were finished. He apologized to Ayumi for having to leave right away, but the brunette didn't seem to mind? In a hurry, All Might jumped back to his place to grab his bag and change before heading over to pick Mela up. It was the least he could do for her inviting him to the party.

Getting changed into a pair of dark blue jeans and a simple white cotton shirt and a dark green jacket over it, Toshinori grabbed his bag and drove off to get Mela. Smiling at her as she entered his car, he simply waved her comment off with a laugh as he told her, "it's quite alright Mela-chan, it's the least I can do for you inviting me to such a grand party." He was positive it was going to be a rather fancy party. Glancing at her as he drove, Toshinori noted she looked quite cute in her casual clothes and felt even more nervous as he knew she must look gorgeous in a dress. Gulping, he chatted with Mela about various things to get his mind off of that. He was simply going because Aizawa was hurt and he had to protect Mela from any unwanted dates! Yes, he was helping Aizawa out...and by the message he got from the dark-haired pro-hero, Toshinori was well aware of keeping his boundaries with Mela clear. They were just friends anyway...nothing more...yup.

As they arrived at the train station, they waited for Kurotsuki and her plus one to show up. He was a bit surprised to hear Kurotsuki was bringing someone other than Todoroki Shounen, but upon hearing the explanation from Mela, Toshinori was concerned for Todoroki and his mother. Hopefully, everything was alright. He would commend Kurotsuki Shoujo for staying strong and going to a party despite the situations and when the pair arrived, he could tell the girl didn't seem phased of anything. If anything he received quite a harsh glare from the petite Pinkette. Toshinori can only smile at the two while a cold sweat ran through his body. Surely...they don't realize who he is...right? Thankfully, when they got on the train, he and Mela sat a bit away from Kurotsuki Shoujo and Kaminari Shounen. Phew. As much as Toshinori wouldn't mind talking with his students, he didn't want to get caught or anything of the sort.

Talking with Mela and enjoying the scenic view, the bright blonde didn't even realize the time passing by as he enjoyed his time with Mela. Yes, he still cared deeply for Mela and enjoyed any moment with her, but Toshinori was no fool. He knew Mela was happy with Aizawa and he would respect that...but he can still enjoy moments like these with her...right? Right. So when they did arrive at Tokyo, Toshinori smiled slightly as memories of old came back to him in bits and pieces. After a quick drive to the hotel, Toshinori opened the door for her and walked in after her. He was taking in the view of the city from the window. Outside he was smiling calmly but on the inside? Oh, boy was he in a panic. The moment he found out he was sharing a room with Mela and not Kaminari Shounen, Toshinori had a melt-down. Why was he sharing a room with her and why did she seem completely fine with it!? Shouldn't she be sharing with Kurotsuki Shoujo!? So many questions ran through his panic-stricken mind but as he turned upon hearing Mela's comment, his sanity nearly...snapped. What!?

Toshinori couldn't even get a single word out as he stared at the ONE bed in the room. ONE bed!? Really!? He heard the door to the bathroom close shut and that was when he broke out into a pace as he couldn't understand anything anymore. W-What was he supposed to do!? Recalling Aizawa's text to him, Toshinori paled as he wondered if he should just sleep outside? Or on the floor at the least? No no...the lobby was sounding like the most reasonable spot for him right now. But he didn't get much time to think as the door soon click open. He looked over and now his heart was on overdrive, having nearly been sent into a heart attack. His mouth hung open for a moment as a blush settled on his cheeks. Wow...she looked absolutely beautiful! Heart thudding loudly in his chest, Toshinori nodded stiffly as he walked into the bathroom to get changed. His tongue was tied despite him wanting to compliment Mela and her dress. Changing into the suit, he was surprised to know Mela had one ready for him and was even more surprised to know they were matching. His entire face was red as he changed into a dark blue suit and a soft cream-colored dress shirt with golden cuffs and a golden necktie. Slicking his bangs back, Toshinori walked out of the bathroom and gave Mela a small tentative smile, "I didn't get to say it earlier, but you look beautiful Mela-chan...I hope I'm alright enough to be your plus one.."

After a moment of him being embarrassed and shy, the pair headed down to the lobby to meet up with Kurotsuki Shoujo and Kaminari Shounen. Now if only his heart can stop beating so loudly! At this rate, he was either going to faint or die of a heart attack! And now he had to go and meet Mela's parents!? He was not ready for this at all.

Receiving Shoto's morning text definitely brightened up Ruka's suddenly dreary looking Saturday. She went to school and won against her match with Momo before watching the rest of the fights. She made sure to send Shoto a text of her results with a smiling selfie of herself. As much as she wanted to call him and see how he was, she didn't want to intrude too much. She mentioned to Shoto to rest and to tell Rei that she said hi and wished her for a speedy recovery. If only Recovery Girl or even Namie can help with Rei's post-surgery. Was that even possible? Ruka shook her head as she focused on the matches. Once all the matches were finished, Ruka hurried back to her apartment, waving to Mela and telling her best friend that she'll meet her and her plus one at the train station. Mela mentioned that it was the school's janitor or something like that and the Pinkette was determined to make sure this guy was suitable to be Mela's plus one. She hoped he was a better choice than Aizawa, but at this point, Ruka may prefer Mela to be her actual boyfriend than some janitor. Face scrunching slightly at the weird image that she held of the janitor, she packed her suitcase with the dress and suit before getting changed for the trip.

Changing into a pair of dark grey short shorts with ankle length black boots, she wore a short-sleeved navy turtleneck and tied her hair loosely onto the side. Denki came by to pick her up not too long after and the two headed off to the train station. Ruka gave Denki a smile as the two talked about the trip before arriving. Her light blue hues zoomed in on the lanky blonde standing next to Mela and as Mela introduced her to the guy, Toshinori, Ruka gave him a scrutinizing stare which may have come off as a glare...okay so she was glaring at him. Eyes narrowed slightly, Ruka simply gave him a nod in greeting before turning to Mela to greet her best friend with a sweet smile. Letting her go, Ruka watched them head inside first and she wondered if she had to speak with this Toshinori before the party began? Ruka can be quite overprotective of Mela as much as her brunette friend could be of her.

Getting on the train with Denki, the pair had fun watching videos and listening to music together. She was glad to have asked Denki and not someone else like Katsuki or worst yet, Midoriya or someone else like that. She had nothing against Midoriya...except for the boy having a crush on her Mela, but Ruka can't possibly bring a girl over since that won't do for if any guy tried to approach her. As much as Ruka can handle herself just fine, at a party like this she was expected to be on her best behavior and her glaring with a flaming hand wasn't...very good. Denki has always been a source of comfort for Ruka since she met him first when she moved over to Musutafu. Smiling over at him, she promised to show him around Tokyo on their day off. She had to owe him that much at least, right?

As the train arrived in Tokyo, they were leaving when Denki stopped them for a picture. Ruka stood by the blonde and smiled. She asked for Denki to send her the picture and she sent that to Shoto to let him know that they arrived at Tokyo safely. She missed him dearly, but she had to be strong. As they arrived at the hotel, Ruka wasn't surprised to know that she and Mela had separate rooms since Mela's parents probably assumed that their plus ones would be their boyfriends. Though knowing how traditional Mela's parents were, Ruka assumed there would two beds and so she wasn't worried. Sharing a room with a guy wasn't a big deal...right? Giving Denki a smile as she entered the room, she looked around to note it was a rather nice place and the view looked wonderful too...that was when her blue hues landed on the bed. The SINGLE bed in the entire room. She took another sweep of the room in case she somehow miraculously missed the second bed...but there was nothing of the sort. Wait, hold on! Why the hell was there only ONE bed!?

Trying not to panic, Ruka smiled over at Denki as she ushered him to get changed first. She saw a glimpse of her dress and she had a feeling it was going to be difficult to get that on...damn it Yukito. Sitting on the bed, Ruka stared off into space as her mind ran a mile a minute. Why was there only one bed? What can they do? Surely she can't just let him sleep on the floor, not after her literally dragging him into another city and making him cancel any and all plans he may have had for the weekend all for her sake. Yeah, there was no way she can do that. She'd feel awful. Holding back a sigh, Ruka willed her mind to calm down otherwise her head would light up with her dark flames. Fortunately, the door to the bathroom opened up and a dashing looking Denki came out. She blinked a few times as she took the sight of him in a suit. Smiling, she told him as she passed by him to get changed herself, "you're looking good! I'll be right out!" Er, she'll try.

Changing into what seemed like an innocent looking dress, Ruka had doubts only because it was Yukito who designed it. The dress was a lot cuter and brightly colored compared to her prior dresses and she only had to guess it was because it was for Mela's party which was a lot more bright and less...stuffy than her parties. Her dress was a strapless gown with a sweetheart dip on the front. The dress accentuated her chest and hips while the rest flowed freely to cover her shoes. The top layer was a sheer aquamarine with glitters and it cut open near her knees past on the front to reveal her underlayer of a soft silver. There were intricate designs woven on the edges of the dress while a shiny teal and light blue cloth wrapped around her waist with a cute assemble of stars holding it in place. The silver and the aquamarine gave off shades of teal to light blue all over her dress while she wore a matching pair of silver laced heels. To finish her outfit off, she wore surprisingly not a choker, but an assortment of blue gems formed into a beautiful piece of necklace and a single short silver fingerless glove on her left hand. Wearing matching blue earrings, she tied her hair up into a soft wave with part of her bangs and hair pulled back with a large silver and blue flower pinning it in place. Taking in a breath, Ruka noted that the color of the dress matched her eyes and somehow matched with her bright cotton candied colored hair.

Stepping out, she gave Denki a small smile as she murmured out, "um well, how do I look?" Walking over, she adjusted his bowtie and smiling up at him she told him, "you're looking very handsome Denki-kun...um, let's have fun?" Er, now she was getting awkward and nervous. She was just thankful that the dress was easy to put on...now the taking off part....wellll, she'll worry about that later.

Shota was not amused in the slightest. Honestly, he was positive Principal Nezu or somebody who hates him was behind all of this. Starting from the ambush of the villains to being unable to attend Mela's party and then to Ayumi self-proclaiming to be his personal nurse...and now All Might was Mela's plus one!? Shota could feel his eye twitch as he let out a loud sigh. Leaning into his pillow, Shota found himself unable to sleep for once despite being at home and not having to work...he just couldn't sleep. There were many things that were keeping him awake and in his moment of brief annoyance, Shota texted All Might and made sure that the blonde pro-hero kept his hands to himself. But Mela mentioned Toshinori...and she would have clearly sounded more excited if it was All Might, so did his girlfriend really not know that Toshinori was also All Might? Shota let out a long and loud sigh as he pinched the bridge of his nose, willing his headache to stay down.

He wasn't sure whether to be relieved or concerned that Mela doesn't notice. If All Might slipped up during this little trip...he was not going to be backing that up. Nope. Nada. Closing his eyes, Shota leaned further back into his pillow and willed himself to get some more sleep. It wasn't often he got a day off though a part of him was sad that he couldn't be spending it with Mela. On other hands, Shota was concerned about Ayumi really taking things seriously about being his nurse. He really didn't want that and hoped she was just kidding. But as he heard the briefest of knocks before the door clicked open, Shota let out a groan as he slid further under his covers. She wasn't kidding. Damn it. As she entered his room, Shota sat up and gave her a glare. No, if he didn't want her here, then that was still trespassing...right?

Trying not to pout about Mi taking Ayumi's side, Shota leaned into the pillow as he listened to what she had to say. At least he would be able to hear how the re-matches went. Glad that she mentioned that first, Shota opened his mouth to tell her that she can now leave when she continued speaking. As she sat beside him and began to pat his head, Shota could feel his eye twitching as he glared at the witch. Really, she was a witch through and through. Not finding her words amusing at all, Shota let out a scoff as he turned his head to the side, "I would prefer Hizashi doting on me over you." He tried his best not to cringe at the image of Hizashi doting on him, but that made the point clear to her, right? Seeing as she didn't seem on leaving anytime soon, Shota let out a sigh as he glanced over at her, "take out or whatever really...and no, my ankle is just fine..." but can he really trust her cooking? Shota sent Mela a quick text, wishing her to have fun but to also be careful and not to cause any trouble. He held back another sigh as he could see today being a long day for him as well. So much for sleeping.

The green-haired healer was definitely out of it when she went to go and watch the Saturday re-matches. Despite doing her best to keep her usual happy persona up and about as she cheered for those in class 3-A, Namie recalled her conversation with Eijiro last night. After receiving the call from Denki, Namie couldn't help but talk with Eijiro that evening as her confused feelings were starting to bottle up within her. She was honestly a bit sad about Denki going with Kurotsuki, but there was no reason he can't go and there was obviously no reason why her opinion should matter on his decision or not. Namie can only wish for Denki's happiness and if it was in the form of the beautiful Pinkette, then Namie really had no say on that matter. Yes, she liked Denki as more than a friend, but as his friend first and foremost, Namie wanted him to be happy....no that wasn't as a friend. As a woman in love, she wanted him to be happy more than anyone else in this world.

At times like this, Namie wished she was a bit more assertive and selfish...but she just couldn't bring herself to be selfish. How can she selfishly have Denki all to herself when they weren't together or anything of the sort? They were just friends and that was it. Simple as that. Namie knew that this weekend would be a long one for her, but she would be strong for Denki's sake. Seeing the blonde fret and panic over this party made her wonder if he was being more self-conscious because it was Kurotsuki. Well, who wouldn't want to impress their crush, right? Even today, Namie decided to dress cutely as she wanted to appear cute in front of her crush, Denki, but clearly, he wouldn't even be focusing on that. She wore a soft pastel pink A-line dress with a white cardigan and white sneakers. She nearly felt like a fool for dressing up, but she did recall Eijiro mentioning the movies so maybe that can keep her distracted?

So once all the matches were finished, Namie can only give Denki a smile and a wave as she watched him head off to go and be with Kurotsuki for the weekend. Ignoring the tightening in her chest, Namie turned to Eijiro as she gave him a small smile, "so about that movie, are you still up for it?" She needed something to keep her distracted. Once Eijiro was changed and they made sure Peachy was fed and doing fine, the pair headed off to downtown. The two grabbed some lunch before the movies as they chatted about various things. Namie smiled as she was glad to be friends with Eijiro and as they were heading off to the theater, Namie's phone buzzed with a notification. Curious, she glanced down to see it was from Denki. Eager to see what he sent, Namie's smile froze for a split second at the picture of Denki next to Kurotsuki along with Uede and some older guy? She gave Eijiro a small smile as she said, "looks like he made it safely huh. I hope he has fun." She sent Denki a smiley face and a thumbs up as she texted him: [glad you made it there safely! Have fun!] She held back a sigh as she looked up at the board, "so! What should we watch?" Ah...her chest ached.

It was quite interesting to see Toshinori in formal wear. She was used to seeing him in something baggy usually. But she had to admit, he cleaned up well. Why was he single again? "Thank you, you look great and i'm so glad you could come with me. So ahh thank you." She bowed her head slightly, hoping she didn't put too much of a burden on him by asking him to accompany her. The pair headed down to the lobby and soon Ruka and Denki joined them, both looking quite nice. There was a black car waiting outside for them and once all inside, they were driven a few miles down the street to a rather normal looking suburban area where a large hill overlooked the neighborhood. They got out and Mela let out a sigh as she slipped her shoes off. "I always hate coming home." She glanced to Ruka and then back to the long set of stone steps leading up to her family's shrine and manor.

"Some nights after ice skating or gymnastics I'd just sleep in the bushes." She laughed as she headed up. The steps lead up to a large red torii and a small shrine. There were woods all around the area which went back behind the shrine. Down a wooden path, was the Uede manor. "In these woods you'll find deer and squirrels, I really miss caring for them." Mela commented. There were large round paper lanterns strewn up in the trees that lit the way towards her traditional home. The shrine was rather famous but still modest. They crossed the courtyard and followed the lit lanterns until they wound through the woods and came to a large home. There was already lively chatter and Mela's mother, Sachiko, was greeting people as they arrived. "Mela-chan, you made it." She waved them over and bowed deeply. "Ruka-chan, we didn't get to see you at your party, you've grown so much. Thank you for looking after our daughter."

"Please come inside." She motioned for the four to continue along. Mela glanced to Toshinori and headed inside. The party was mostly contained in the largest room in the manor, though people were milling around outside and around the open hallway snaking around the home. Mela grabbed some sparkling water and smiled to those she recognized. "Remind me to give you a tour later." She offered Toshinori before grabbing his hand. She slipped through the crowd and spotted a young man with dark hair and green eyes. "Hey Kino, I'm glad to see you." She smiled and looked to Toshi. "This is my dancing and skating partner, Kino Walker, he's half-Japanese and half-Canadian. Kino, this is my friend from UA, Toshinori." Mela explained as Kino held out his hand, looking about four years Mela's senior. "It's a pleasure. I bet you have your hands full with this one." Kino smiled. "We have the same quirk, which is why we're partners!" Mela exclaimed. "Do you dance?" Kino asked Toshinori.

He wondered if he should text Namie-chan a picture or not. Or would that be rude? He didn't want to rub it in her face. He wished he could take her and Eijiro along but he wasn't about to ask Uede-san to invite them along when he was lucky to go and see Tokyo with Ruka. Of course the issue of sleeping accommodations still hung over his head. Well the floor would be fine for one night. It would be like sleeping in his dorm room bed really heh. As Denki got up and walked around, pacing, he found his attention pulled back to Ruka when the door to the bathroom opened. His heart stopped. Damn, Todoroki was super lucky. Denki wanted to cry, this was almost torture in some way. Here he was trying to truly get over her and yet she looked so pretty. "You look awesome, like a princess." He gave her a thumbs up. "Let's go!" He cheered.

They headed down to find Yagi-san and Uede-chan waiting for them. He flashed them a smile before they headed out to find a car waiting for them. He gave Ruka a questionable look before he helped her in and got in after her. The drive was fairly quick and everyone just chatted about the city itself and what they might do tomorrow before heading back home. Denki thought back and wondered if he could find something for his friends to take back. Maybe he could find some kind of charm for Namie-chan? Maybe Ruka would know of someplace they could go? Once they arrived, he got out and glanced up at the long step of steps laid out in front of them. Seriously? He gave Mela a look, she could have said they'd have to workout to get to her home sooner. But he wasn't about to complain. He was going to be a good 'date' for Ruka. "No hidden short cut up huh?" He joked as they headed up.

Once finally up, Denki let out a long groan and followed the others into the woods before they happened upon a rather sizable house. "Woah." He had to imagine Ruka's probably looked similar. This kind of place had to have maids and butlers right? He headed inside after saying hello to Uede's mother and thanking her for her hospitality. Inside, he smiled to Ruka and grabbed them some punch from a wandering butler holding a tray. "So you two are like sisters huh? Your house isn't somewhere around here is it?" He asked Ruka. "So you mentioned some guy might be here who was at your last party right? What's he look like?" Maybe he could be on the lookout and make sure Ruka didn't cross paths with him. This was rather fancy but he wanted to make sure Ruka had a good time, which meant keeping creepy guys at bay. "I'll protect you." He gave her a wide smile. "Maybe we could...dance?" He suggested. That way, she wouldn't be bothered by some creep.

So grumpy. Ayumi would pay his moodiness no mind. "You are so mean. I take time out of my day to come help you and you would rather have Hizashi-kun dress up for you? I'm so insulted." She dramatically put a hand to her chest. "I could just leave and call him up, I'm sure he'd love to know how much you miss and prefer his company to mine." Ayumi smirked to him and got up and headed off to the kitchen. Pulling out her phone, she called in an order for pizza and hot wings and beer. She poked around his kitchen but saw nothing of interest. Sighing to herself, she wandered back into his room after about five minutes and sat back down beside him.

"I ordered us food." She explained as she laid back and slipped her hands behind her head, getting comfortable. It was a relief to know he wasn't seriously hurt, but he was still reckless and needed to learn how teams worked. Surely a seasoned pro like him should know not to go into battle alone But he probably liked being alone, doing things on his own even if it earned him a few broken bones. Why were some pros so cocky? She thought to some of those in 3-A and hoped they didn't underestimate their own allies and try to be a lone hero like their homeroom teacher. "So we could play a game to pass the time." Ayumi hummed as she opened one eye and looked to Aizawa. "I'd love to braid your hair~" She grinned. Ayumi was hopeful that Aizawa would become a bit less grumpy. Maybe after a few drinks, he'd be a bit more cooperative. "Mm I still think we should patrol together, it would be lots of fun, I'd protect Eraserhead." She teased him, poking his cheek.

Eijiro ended up losing his bout against Katsuki but Eijiro wasn't going to let that get him down. He was proud of his blond friend for always improving and never settling for 'good enough.' Bakugo was rough around the edges but Eijiro knew him better than most and knew under his layers of crap, really was the heart of a hero who would help others. He just hoped Bakugo let the rest of the world see a softer side, as time went on. But tonight he had a date with Namie, interestingly enough. He knew she liked Denki and had to be hurting. At the same time, Eijiro believed Denki had to come around on his own. As much of a flirt Denki could be, he still didn't have any real dating experience and probably didn't know about the subtle hints Namie was dropping.

What a shame. But they were young and in no rush right? Surely things would work out for the two cute dorks heh. Eijiro looked to his phone and saw Denki sent them both a thumbs up. "Huh? Oh not sure." Eijiro rubbed his neck. He would have liked to stay in and watch something but being out probably helped Namie's worried mind. "Hmm how about a comedy?" He suggested, figuring it would help her laugh. A romantic movie was off the table, for sure. He pointed to a buddy cop movie set in London which looked fun. Laughter was the best medicine right? "Maybe we could even sneak into a second one if we're careful." He nudged Namie a bit. "After this, we should figure out what to get Denki, his birthday is in a few weeks." Best time to shop for him it seemed. Too bad Eijiro couldn't just give Denki, Namie-chan. "We should have a surprise party or something that would short circuit him." He laughed.

Toshinori held his hands up as he became flustered, "oh no! The pleasure is all mine! Thank you for inviting me!" Despite him coming along due to Aizawa-kun being unable to come, Toshinori was still quite happy to be able to spend time with Mela like this. He didn't think it was a burden or anything like that if anything he was more concerned about how he might affect Mela's image. He wasn't the best looking guy around, he probably came off as weird or creepy more than handsome. Urgh. Pushing aside his negative thoughts, Toshinori offered Mela his arm and the two headed down to meet Kurotsuki Shoujo and Kaminari Shounen downstairs. After meeting up, the four headed off to Mela's place in a sleek black car. That just made him more nervous. Yikes.

At first glance, Mela's place seemed like a normal suburban house until they arrived in front of what seemed to be a steep set of steps leading up to a shrine and a house. Toshinori blinked a few times before looking over at Mela, confused at first at her statement until he saw her taking her heels off. Ah...he gave her a small encouraging smile. He was tempted to offer to just carry her up the steps, but no no...he will be a good 'date'. He held his hand out for her to hang onto as he silently wondered if it was Aizawa-kun in his place, would the man just have carried Mela or would she have been demanding him to carry her...? A small twinge squeezed his chest as he kept a smile in place though now his heart was racing with shattering nerves as he saw Mela's mother up ahead. Ah...she looked just like an older version of Mela. Toshinori greeted himself to her politely before following Mela inside like a lost puppy.

The house was...grand. Toshinori was used to attending parties like this but that was as All Might. Toshinori Yagi never attended a party like this before. Looking around in silent awe, Toshinori smiled to Mela and was about to tell her that a tour was not necessary if she didn't want to but then a blush soon took over his features as she took hold of his hand. Ah...now he definitely felt like a puppy but one in love and not lost. He blinked slightly at the younger male before him. Smiling, Toshinori shook his hand as he greeted him, "Toshinori Yagi, a pleasure to meet you Walker-san." At the mention of dancing, he rubbed the back of his head sheepishly as he explained, "ah, I don't really dance, definitely not as well as you can...but I do like to dance." He glanced over at Mela with a soft smile. Speaking of dancing...hearing the music softly resounding in the beautifully lit room, Toshinori held his hand out to Mela as he asked her, "would you care for a dance, Mela-chan?" A part of him was hoping she'd dance with him and not Kino, was this him being jealous? Can anyone blame him? Kino was obviously a better choice than someone like himself...ah now he was just putting himself down again. No no, he didn't plan on even thinking of being a possible suitor for Mela plus she was obviously happy with Aizawa-kun! Why must these thoughts plague him now? The smile stayed on his lips despite his turmoiled thoughts.

Ruka blinked at the comment of being a Princess. She giggled at Denki's word choice before smiling back at him nodding as they headed down to go and meet up with Mela and Toshinori. She had to admit that with Denki, it was easy to relax and laugh. Perhaps it was due to how she's known him since she's arrived here, but Ruka found Denki to be a comforting presence. Chatting with the others during the car ride, Ruka couldn't help but wonder how Shoto was doing. She was saddened that he wouldn't be able to see this new dress design but she didn't want to send a picture to him of it either. Somehow that felt wrong like she was being mean to him and that wasn't what she intended at all. Deciding to give Shoto a call later that night, Ruka stepped out of the car as she gave a small grimace. Ah yes...the Uede household was filled with fond memories for Ruka, mainly with the animals that she would go and see with Mela during their childhood...but definitely not these steps.

Giving Denki an apologetic smile, Ruka told him, "ah, yeah...you can say the Uede household likes to test the patience of the person before they can enter their abode." She was joking of course...but at times she did truly think of it as true. Sucking in a breath, Ruka began her ascent to the top of the stairs. Upon arriving, she smiled over at Sachiko as she greeted the Uede Matriarch, "good evening Sachiko-san, ah yes." Bowing she continued, "thank you for attending my father's parties every year. It's always a pleasure to have your company and I am always delighted to be invited to your lovely home." Smiling over at Mela, Ruka told Sachiko, "no the pleasure is all mine. Mela has been always taking good care of me." She smiled good-naturedly over at Sachiko before excusing herself as she walked inside with Denki. Watching Mela lead Toshinori along, Ruka's eyes narrowed. She didn't get to talk to this Toshinori guy just yet so her suspicions of him was still high.

If Mela's place was like a fairytale castle, then her place was more of the evil King's castle...or that's how she viewed her house. Taking the punch from Denki with a small thanks, Ruka let out a small laugh as she told him, "you can say that. I've known Mela since we were young. My house? Ah...well...it's not exactly close by but my home was?" If that made any sense to him. Her own house was in a neighborhood just a block or two away from Mela's but her actual family's house was a bit closer to the city but still on the outskirts of the city near a forest. Her step-father was very particular about where his home would be. Taking a sip of the punch, Ruka blinked a few times in thought. What did the guy look like? Hm...her brows furrowed as she tilted her head to the side while closing her eyes, "I...don't remember." She looked over at Denki blankly. She didn't bother trying to remember the guy's face since he was obviously nothing to her. Oops. Smiling at Denki's promise, Ruka giggled as she nudged him while saying, "I'm counting on you then, hero-san." At the mention of a dance, Ruka nodded her head. Grabbing his hand, she led him to the dancefloor where she turned around to face him. Placing her hand in his and the other on his shoulder, Ruka smiled up at him while saying, "just think of it as the school dance." It wasn't tooo different from that.

If he was being honest, Shota wasn't sure if Ayumi actually went to go and give Hizashi a call. But at this rate, would he prefer Ayumi 'caring' for him or Hizashi? At least with Hizashi he can possibly, hopefully, maybe...somehow...kick him out of his place, but Ayumi? It was proving to be rather difficult. He held back a sigh as he didn't want Mela to think bad of him but then again why should she when there was obviously nothing going on? Plus, it wasn't like he asked Ayumi to come over. Leaning into the bed, Shota glanced over to see her come back. His brow arched at her actions while she explained about ordering food. How can she get so comfortable on a guy's bed like this? No less a guy who has a girlfriend.

Eye twitching for a brief moment, Shota let out a slight huff as he crossed his arms opting to stay silent. If she wasn't going to talk, he had no reason to make small talk with her. He became lost in his thoughts as he was either thinking of Mela and...her plus one or about his accident during work. Shota wasn't one to get hurt often, but no one was free from harm. He knew the risks of being a solo hero but Shota was never the type to work with others, not that he can't, but he just preferred to work in the shadows. He doesn't like getting the attention of the public and found that working solo worked best for him. Though with Ayumi speaking up, Shota snapped out of his thoughts. He glanced down at her and blinked. A game? Wait...what? A small scowl was present on his lips as he immediately turned her down, "no." No way was he going to let her play with his hair like some barbie doll. Seeing as she wasn't leaving anytime soon, Shota let out a sigh as he told her, "we can watch tv or something if you want..." he rubbed the side of his neck as he looked down at her. He didn't have much in his house as he was one to opt for a simplistic living (totally not because he's lazy).

At the mention of comedy, Namie looked up to see what Eijiro was pointing at. She smiled as she agreed to it, finding that to be a good choice. After purchasing their tickets, they both got some snacks and a drink before heading to their seats. She giggled slightly at Eijiro's playfulness as she told him, "hmm maybe we can sneak into another." Her eyes shined in mirth but clearly, something was bothering her. She couldn't stop wondering what Denki was up to. She knew she didn't have any right to feel this way, but a part of her just couldn't let it go. How deep she has fallen. Trying to take her mind off of Denki, Eijiro mentioned Denki's birthday coming up. She blinked a few times.

Well...it was still about Denki, but this one she wouldn't mind concerning herself over. Smile widening, Namie nodded her head in agreement, "that sounds like a good idea! Something that'll short circuit him huh..." she giggled slightly to herself as she did think of a few things that could possibly short circuit the blonde boy, but Namie knew it wouldn't work unless it came from Ruka she supposed. Leaning back into her seat, Namie wondered what would make Denki happy. Nudging Eijiro with her head, Namie gave him a gentle smile as she murmured out before the movie started, "thanks Eijiro-kun." She knew he was trying to cheer her up and she thought that was very kind of him. The two enjoyed their movie before heading off to go shopping for Denki. Looking at the various stores, Namie asked Eijiro, "so what are you going to get him?" Namie had no clue what to get Denki now that she thought about it. Maybe some comics? Or uh a shirt? Oh boy...she didn't think she would fret over a gift this bad.

Kino and Mela were too close to be romantically involved. They were more like siblings, if anything. Kino had no interest in dancing with his usual partner, not wanting to feel like they were working during such a nice party. Plus they rarely spent time together outside of competitions, so his attendance was more of a polite formality than anything else. His family wasn't nearly as well of as Uede's or Kurotsuki's but given their close relationship, he had to go but he would duck out sooner than most. He had a date after this. "Ah don't compare yourself to me, it's more muscle memory than real talent at this point." Kino held up a hand to Toshinori.

"I'm sure you're quite fine, believe it or not, you've got a good figure for dancing. Right?" Kino noted, looking to Mela. She gave Kino a look before she just smiled to her 'date,' "I'd love to dance." She told Toshi and handed Kino her drink to hold. Kinoa gave them an amused wave as Mela took Toshi's hand and headed off to dance with the others. It really was a relief to get out of the city for a bit, even if they landed in an even bigger city, it was just a shame Shota-kun was stuck in bed all alone. But he did have Mi-chan so that as good. But she did feel bad about leaving him in his hour of need. But she was equally grateful for Toshinori and his willingness to go with her. He really was a sweet guy.

There had to be something she could do for Toshinori. He didn't have to go with her and yet here he was, keeping her company. But what could she do? Mela's hand was cradled in his while her other rested on his arm comfortably. She'd have to think of something really special. For him and Shota-kun. Maybe she should find a nice girl for Toshinori? She was pretty good at helping guys find girlfriends. Kino's current long-term girlfriend was due in part to Mela's scheming. "Tomorrow we should explore a little before heading back." She suggested to him as they dancing to the soft live violin and piano music filling the space. Maybe then she could find something for both him and her lonesome boyfriend. "What do you think?" She smiled to Toshinori.

Denki was in awe of everything but he was also trying to remember to be a good friend to Ruka and make sure he didn't knock over anything or accidentally electrocute anyone due to nerves. He would love to see where Ruka grew up. He recalled her mentioning something not growing up with her immediate family. Shoto probably had more of the details there, but it did sound like Ruka had a good life growing up, despite the less than ideal circumstances. He hoped he didn't bring up a topic that would summon bad memories for her. Denki wasn't much for traveling, though he did live for a little bit in Saitama before his family relocated to Musutafu when he was five years old.

Though when Ruka mentioned that she didn't remember who the guy was he was supposed to be protecting her from, he held back a frown. That didn't help at all. But hopefully the guy wasn't invited. Denki nervously's held Ruka's hand while his other cupped her hip lightly but firmly enough to lead her. "R-right." He nodded, trying not to stare at his feet. His mind couldn't help but wander back to how great everyone looked at the dance and how his companion, Namie had been so easy to dance with. Turning his golden eyes to Ruka's blue ones, he gave her a small smile. Maybe this wouldn't be too bad? "That was a pretty fun night huh?" He commented, trying to distract himself from his nerves.

"I didn't think you could outdo yourself but you look even prettier tonight." Denki laughed a little, hoping that was okay to say and not out of line. He thought the blue looked really nice on Ruka. He was sure if Todoroki were attending, it would go with his left eye. As they danced, he di his best to gently lead her as the violinist and pianist played a lovely melody meant for slow dancing. His eyes wandered to see if anyone was looking at Ruka too much. If Ruka thought of him as a hero, he would make sure the creeps stayed away tonight. "I was hoping to get some advice since we have some time alone. It's about Namie-chan." Yes, he wanted to see what Ruka thought about Namie, among other things. Of course it made sense of ask a girl advice about another girl right?

Ayumi had a feeling if he had agreed to a game, he'd find some way to suck the fun out of it. Hmph. Though she could easily find someone else's bed to crawl into, she was content where she was, even if she wasn't really welcomed. Surely Aizawa had to figure she could be out drinking and finding someone else to amuse herself with but instead she was keeping him company out of the kindness of her heart. Men were so stubborn. So narrow-minded. Ayumi gave a light shrug when he declined. Well maybe when he went to sleep she could do something with hair. He would look great with a braid or even a side-braid. Maybe if he straightened his hair too? Her thoughts shifted when he mentioned tv. Urgh, so boring. Ayumi waved a hand at his comment. Yeah he was going to stay single forever if that's how he treated female guests.

"Sure." Ayumi said flatly. Men and women could do so much more together than watch tv. Of course she could put something on to nudge them in a certain direction but there was little fun in that. So instead she decided to find Japanese drama about two terminally ill patients falling in love with one another. It was sappy but in a funny kind of way. Soon the doorbell rang and she got up, grabbing Aizawa's walet on his bedside table before heading out to get their food and drink. When she came back, she laid back down and handed him a container of wings and a can of beer. "You're not exactly sick, no point in ordering soup." She just shrugged as she opened her beer. Something told her, he didn't want to be coddled anyway. "Maybe I'll make you some protection charm." She considered aloud. "Can't have you getting hurt regularly." She teased. But she was sure he wouldn't accept such a thing, even with the best of intentions she had.

Eijiro was almost tempted to suggest Namie jump out of a cake but Denki may attack out of reflect, which would be pretty bad. Then again, Namie seemed to have a tolerance for pain. Still, that might be a weird, albeit cliche idea. But surely there had to be something he could do to push Namie and Denki together. It was great Denki and Ruka were becoming friends again but he didn't want Ruka's friendship to be a source of pain for Denki either, even if he may not feel it now, surely there must be some kind of residual sting right? No one wants to see your crush kissing some other guy? But then again, there was also the issue of Namie. Everyone seemed to have feelings for someone else. It was like some Shakespearean play. But Eijiro would make sense of it, he had to for everyone's sake.

"Of course, Namie-chan." He smiled and nudged her back. Once the movie finished, they decided to go to a nearby mall to scope out some presents. He was sure Ruka wasn't even aware of Denki's birthday so Namie already had ample time to figure something out. He'd help of course. "I'll probably get him a game." He considered. Eijiro wasn't too personal with his gift giving, he just got things he knew were wanted, not so much homemade or anything like that. Maybe there was a way Eijiro could give Namie and Denki some alone time together during the party? He'd have to think more about that though. "I'm sure he'll love whatever you get him." He gave Namie a light pat on the head. If only they were dating, then Namie could just dress up in something sexy for the blond. "You could get concert tickets maybe?" He suggested. It would be a way for her and Denki to get extra alone time, even if it might be at a music concert.

Toshinori wasn't sure whether he was relieved that there didn't seem to be anything going on between Mela and Kino or not, but one thing he knew was that Kino didn't seem like a bad person at all. Toshinori blinked curiously over at Mela at the mention of having a good figure for dancing, what did Kino mean by that? Glad that Mela accepted his invitation to dance, the two headed over to the dancefloor. Holding her smaller hand in his and the other placed gently yet firmly onto her hip, Toshinori began to slowly lead the dance as the music was a rather soft beat which made him blush slightly. A-Ah...it felt quite romantic. But no! It wasn't romantic by all means! They were just friends and he was here to help Mela out...but why did she not want to take Kurotsuki Shoujo with her instead?

Snapping out of his thoughts, Toshinori heard Mela's question as he gave her a sweet smile, "sure! That sounds like a lot of fun!" He grew up in Tokyo, but then again he's been in Musutafu for school so his memories were well, everywhere. There was that time he spent in America too...pushing aside his thoughts, Toshinori spoke up contemplatively, "hmmm where should we go? Ah! Well, is there anywhere you want to go specifically, Mela-chan?" He didn't really have a place in mind but if there was one where Mela wanted to go, then he would happily go with her. Giving Mela a small twirl, Toshinori enjoyed his dance with her. Blinking as the question came back to mind, Toshinori couldn't help but ask her, "by the way, Mela-chan...I've been wondering, but why did you invite me? A-Ah! Not like I didn't want to come or anything like that!...I...It's just I thought you would rather go with your boyfriend or with your best friend...?"

Giving Denki a gentle smile in hopes of calming his nerves, Ruka began to follow his lead. The song was slow and there weren't any specific dance routines needed so everything should be just fine. As he mentioned their school dance, Ruka nodded her head, "yeah, it was a fun night." Her mind wandered back to the night of the dance and her cheeks flushed ever so slightly at the memory of her and Shoto. Ah yes...it was a good night. Blinking out of her thoughts, Ruka gave Denki a flustered smile as she mumbled out a small, "thanks..." she could never get used to compliments and would forever get flustered over them. Grinning to get over her flustered moment, Ruka complimented him back, "you're looking quite dashing yourself, you know!" Eyeing his hair, she silently wondered how he'll look if it was gelled back. Probably quite good looking.

Her attention moved from his hair to his face when he mentioned advice...from her? About a girl on top of that? She looked curiously up at him as she tilted her head to the side, "eh? Namie-chan as in..." trying to recall, Ruka remembered seeing a green-haired girl around Denki lately, "Amamiya-san was it? Um, what did you want to ask me?" Her brows furrowed in slight confusion as she wasn't sure what sort of help she can be when she barely knew the healer, but if she can help, then she'd gladly answer any questions. Though of course there wasn't a chance for Denki to even speak as a rather loud and haughty voice boomed out from nearby. That voice...sounded awfully familiar. Turning her head to the side, Ruka was met with the sight of a tall blonde with arrogant red hues glinting dangerously over at them, "each time I see you, you have a different date, are you trying to make me jealous here, babe?" Babe...the words echoed in her head as Ruka recalled this guy now. Glaring unabashedly, Ruka growled out, "Ichijou..." why was he here!? Ryohei smirked widely as he moved closer reaching out to grab Ruka's hand from Denki's, "Just call me Ryohei, you're going to be Mrs. Ichijou soon anyway." That guy from last time wasn't here...good. Ryohei smirked over at the blonde that Ruka was dancing with, he shouldn't be much to deal with. "Now forget about this loser and come dance with your fiance, you belong to me after all." Ruka's grip tightened ever so slightly as she did not want to be near this blonde. As much as he may resemble Katsuki, their personalities definitely did not!

Shota couldn't understand her. Why was she here? Yes, she did tell him that she would be nursing him back to health, but of course, he was hoping that was just a joke...how terribly wrong he was. From the moment he met her, Ayumi has been a thorn to his side and was constantly there beside him...nagging him to just...being there. It was strange. He couldn't understand her motives nor can he even fathom why she would want to hang around a person like him. Then again, there was Mela who was way more upbeat and bubbly than Ayumi and she quite liked his company....but that was because she was his girlfriend! This and that was completely different! Which once again brings him back to wonder how this situation even came to be. Here he is sitting next to Ayumi who was acting way too comfortable on his bed while watching some drama. Shota was not in the mood for this confusion.

So when the doorbell rang, he was relieved for a bit of space, but the moment she took his wallet to go and pay for the food...Shota felt his annoyance come back. The silence was nice while it lasted but now he was reminded of Ayumi's presence. Urgh. Taking the offered food, Shota gave her a slight glare as he told her, "why the hell did you take my wallet to pay for food that you ordered?" He didn't like it when people just touched his stuff like that...then again she's been comfortably lazing around his bed and whatnot for quite some time now. Letting out a slight sigh, Shota opened the box of wings, taking a bite out of it as he gave her a blank look when she mentioned a protection charm. The wing crunching loudly as he bit down on it, Shota muttered out, "I don't get hurt regularly..." this would be one of the few major incidents he's been in. Besides, why would he want some sort of charm from her? If anything it'll be like a cursed item or something knowing her hobby and the like. Taking a sip of his beer, Shota looked over at Ayumi as he asked her, "remind me why you are here again?"

Smiling back at Eijiro, Namie enjoyed the movie, glad to have something to take her mind off of her blonde hero for just a moment. As much as she loved to think about Denki, just this once it hurt her to even imagine it. The image of Denki smiling and enjoying his time with Kurotsuki...she wanted Denki to be happy but that image somehow burned the green-haired healer a lot more than she thought. She was Denki's friend, nothing more and nothing less. She should be happy for Denki and as long as her friend was happy, then that's all that mattered, right? Right. So as Eijiro and her head out to the mall to look for a present....she didn't think she'd be this troubled on what to get him. As she was silently panicking on the perfect gift for Denki, she listened to what Eijiro had in mind. A game...yeah that made sense. It would be a good gift for Denki for sure. Hmm comic books from her then? Ah, but that didn't seem like a lot of fun.

As she was mulling over it, her red-haired friend mentioned a concert ticket. Oh? A gift that'll allow her to spend more time with just Denki? Her brows furrowed as that definitely sounded like an ideal gift for not only Denki but partially for her, but did she really want that? It sounded almost selfish. She knew Denki would enjoy a gift like that, but perhaps not with her? Maybe she should just give him two tickets and let him invite whoever he wants? But a concert ticket sounds like something Kyoka-chan would give him...hmm then what? As she was wondering, her eyes wandered over to a poster hanging on the wall that was of an amusement park. Her teal hues stayed glued on that for a moment longer before she grinned. Ah yes, that would be a good gift! Smiling over at Eijiro, Namie suggested, "I think I know what to get him! Thanks for the suggestion Eijiro-kun! Oh, did you want to go check out the video game store to find a gift for Denki-kun?" Now she just needed to survive today and tomorrow until Denki is back!

If Toshinori didn't want to lead, she would be happy to take the lead herself but it seemed like he was doing fine on his own. Several sets of eyes were on them as they had to wonder about the date Mela-san had brought with her for her first formal return to Tokyo. There was a lot expected of her but she wasn't too shy to show off, she just hoped Toshinori didn't mind the attention. Mela loved it, it made her want to do her very best. "Ah well there's a candy store I'd love to go, they have a bunch of international treats." She explained. "And I might not mind taking a look at my family's shrine and forest. I've missed the deer and animals and I feel I should pay them a visit too." Mela smiled. It might be a bit boring so she would understand if Toshinori didn't want to go watch her mull around the shrine and take care of the animals.

She let out a giggle when he spun her. "Shota-kun shouldn't be traveling in his condition. And now that Ruka and I are dating and getting older, we can't be each other's dates anymore." She frowned. It wasn't fair. "People expect us to bring home suitors and if we don't...well we may get one without any say." She explained as the music came to a close. As if on cue, a dark haired man with a goatee came forward. Urgh...this guy again? "Uede-chan, I couldn't stop thinking about you since the night we met like two fated lovers." Tenjo grinned, ignoring Toshinori entirely. "I'm so glad you dumped that grump you were with last time." Tenjo waved a hand. "I must say this dress fits you so very well, baby girl. But as I said before, you would look all the more appetizing without it." He stepped forward, pushing Toshinori out of the way, his hands cupping the sides of Mela's face firmly.

"Now...what will you wear on our wedding night, hm?" Mela gritted her teeth and growled. If he thought she wouldn't make a scene at her own party, he was quite mistaken. "I don't even remember you name, and don't touch me!" She glared, trying to take a step back. But it was hard when he was holding your face tightly. "You can just call me daddy." He moaned sweetly. Mela's face turned red. N-no she would not!

It was sweet of Ruka to compliment him. He still wasn't sure how he looked and he wished he had Eijiro and Namie around to assure him. But if Ruka approved then surely he wasn't making a total fool of himself tonight. No, this night had to go really well. As her friend, it was his job to make sure nothing happened and that they had a fun time. Tokyo seemed like a very cool place and Denki had to hope tomorrow they could do some sightseeing before going back. But he was sure she would rather rush back to see Todoroki. But maybe he and Eijiro could see Tokyo together during a long weekend. They had to have a lot comic book stores and stuff. And maybe Namie would enjoy the zoo? He was sure it had to be a good one. His thoughts about future trips to the city were disrupted when he recalled what he wanted to ask Ruka. Yes, he needed some womanly advice on how a girl may or may not be interested.

Who better to ask than a girl? But before he could say anything, someone came up to them. How rude! He looked to the man and then to Ruka. Were they friends? No! This was the guy he was warned up. Sparks shot out of his cheeks as he pouted. "Hey, you can't just interrupt us like that." Denki glared, trying to keep his voice down. "And she's not marrying you. She has a boyfriend." If she was marrying anyone, it was her soulmate Todoroki. "She would never be with some jerk like you." Yeah this guy was not the kind of guy who deserved a girl like Ruka. This red eyed man seemed like a pushover, at least from Denki's perspective. He could probably use his quirk if need be but he didn't want to hurt Ruka by accident either. Denki knew he might need to wait and see what this guy was up to though. Placing his hand on the man's shoulder, he gripped it. But with Ichijou holding onto Ruka, he couldn't use his quirk, he might hurt her.

"Leave her alone so she can enjoy her night. And You're the loser, hitting on a young girl who is way too good for you." Denki frowned. Where did his parents get this guy from and why did they think he was someone she should be marrying? It made no sense at all but his blood was beginning to boil at the thought of this guy ever being with Ruka made him want to vomit. There was spark behind his eyes as he was very determined to protect his friend, from this leech.

"Why would I pay for the food?" She shot back, his question didn't make any sense. She was taking care of him so it was only right he'd treat them to lunch. Men were so dumb. And Aizawa was single? Of course he was. There wasn't a chivalrous bone in his body. Ayumi gave him a look, "You owe me for looking after you." Though he didn't for it, she knew he needed someone to make sure he didn't try to hobble off and save people when he could barely walk without falling over. Besides, with her quirk, she was a perfect nurse. Perhaps he was upset because she didn't show up in her nurse's outfit? That had to be it. She ate two wings before she licked her fingers and sucked on them thoroughly while thinking about his question. Did he have to ask?

Did he hit his head or something? She only had so much patience stored up. "I'm here because I care about you, jackass." She popped her last finger out of her mouth and grabbed her beer and took a few sips. "Or would you find it more believable if Nezu sent me and said he'd pay overtime?" Of course that may or may not be true but the point was, she did worry, even if he didn't see the obvious signs. Sadly, he didn't know what was waiting for him in the future. So much heartache. Why couldn't he enjoy her company now? It would make things easier for them both. 'Why is so damn hard for you to consider that I have a heart and that I care?" She gave him a look as she set her beer down on the bedside table by her. "Even about jerks like you."

"And cause you're too stubborn to accept help, sometimes someone has to force you to accept it." Ayumi added.

It would be cool to have a day for Denki. The blond doof was always worried about those around him that he probably didn't even know what he'd want for his birthday but hopefully picking something in advance wouldn't be too bad. He rubbed his neck as he looked around and wondered what they could do or where they could go. Maybe they could go to an indoor skating rink or play paintball? Surely Denki would want to do something adventurous and involve a lot of their class. And Namie-chan too of course! But was there something more Eijiro could do to help Namie and Denki along? They had kissed but still Denki wasn't getting it. Eijiro wanted to shake that boy until he figured it out.

His eyes followed where Namie's were. Aaah. Was she thinking of taking him there? "Sure, let's go!" He nodded, glad he was able to push her into some kind of direction. The redhead slung an arm around her neck and headed back out to look down another long stretch of shops and window displays until the pair found a gaming store. "You two play Pokemon right? Maybe you could catchy him a shiny?" He suggested. It was a gift that would take some patience but he was sure Denki would marvel at that kind of effort. Maybe he'd like a Pikachu or Raichu? That would be pretty nice. "You know it was me who uh did the pushing at the dance. Kyoka-chan and I were only trying to help. I hope you don't mind." Eijiro rubbed his neck, giving her a small smile.

"That boy is so oblivious...I hope he doesn't make you wait too long. Or I might have to steal you away." He joked, nudging her lightly.
