It's been days.
Mere days since we lost Moonbow City Square to the Government's forces. It was a bloodbath; we don't know how they got past our sentries and sealed off our escapes, but they did their job well. There was no way out.
We were shot down by the dozen, like animals packed inside a cage, unarmed and helpless to defend ourselves from the rain of bullets coming from all sides. We still don't know the full extent of our loss, but we're guessing in the hundreds. The blood spilt that day shall never be forgotten.
However, there is yet more bad news, despite how impossible that sounds. I am sure that many of you knew that 2Face was among you that day, and he hasn't returned.
He is not dead.
Instead, something far worse has befallen our frontman and beloved vice-leader; survivors report a squadron of elite Flares forcing their way in through the pandemonium and dragging him away. We can only assume that he has been taken away to the Sun Capital, where all manner of horrors may have befallen him. We can only pray that he remains strong. Even so, he is the only one reported to have been taken prisoner so far.
The attacks on our divisions have become more brutal, more planned, more organised of late. We don't know why this change has occurred, but it is not a welcome one. We have been driven underground by these new advances, forced below to the streets where they can't find us just to keep our lives. Support we simply can't afford to lose is fading. We have received precious little contact from our spies in the capital, many simply too afraid to pass their information on.
We have to fight back. The way we used to be just isn't enough now if we're ever going to win this. And we must. For all our sakes. We have to commence Operation Eclipse.

In this roleplay, you will, naturally, be playing as one of the rebellion. However, not just anyone among the masses - you will be a candidate for Operation Eclipse. But what's Operation Eclipse?, I hear you cry. To put it simply, the destruction of the Government.
This roleplay will contain violence, guns, even bigger guns, rooftop chases, cyberpunk technology, explosions, cyborgs, badass outfits, cake, a tricksy little hobbit GM, kinda-almost-superpowers, a whole lotta awesome masks, death and being ninjas. Yeah, you heard me. Ninjas. Oh, and hopefully succeeding on destroying the Government (nothing is set in stone..), but ninjas.

Greetings, most glorious people reading this thread! All this currently vague information (and a lot more, trust me
) is going to be popped up in the main thread, so you can read it there too.Since that's all out the way now, here's some basic rules and requirements that I'm going to be asking for.. I know they're boring, but bear with me
- All RPNation rule must be followed at all times! I don't care how amazing your hair is today, it doesn't make you any more exempt from these as the rest of us~
1 - I'll be putting this RP under Detailed, so around 2 or 3 decent paragraphs. However, I'm not that strict about this, so don't worry too much.
2 - No one liners, or I'll have to force-feed you haggis. You have been warned.
3 - If you have questions, fantabuloso ideas or you just want to chat, you can always come to me. I don't bite. Much.
4 - No smexy time~! Always fade to black if you get to that point. No exceptions.
5 - Swearing (and violence) is allowed! Just be reasonable, that's all I'm asking.
6 - Feed me.
7 - A post every other day would be very nice, but I'm veeery flexible here.
8 - Have fun!
