14th of October, 1977. The day that will be remembered in the Universes history forever. At exactly 2:00 a.m., AUSM Standard Time, humanity declared total war against the entire universe. What ensued was a brutal, 26 year long war which spread like a wildfire that engulfed the entire universe. As the two super powers, the AUSM and the Extraterrestrial Federation clashed on every sector of the universe, trillions of separate wars erupted from the other species who were forced to choose a side in the war for survival. The AUSM showed the universe the destructive potential of mankind with their weapons of mass destruction. By the end, the E.F. was completely crushed. Hundreds of trillions of human lives were lost with hundreds of gazillions of E.F lives lost. The E.F were humiliated as they signed an armistice with the AUSM in 2003 HSY(Human Standard Year). Since then, the universe was divided by the two ultra-power empires as the AUSM brought about a new universal order. And with mankind's new found dominance in the universe, the AUSM assembled the most advanced and most powerful military to ever exist in the history of time and existence. Using their military and economic might to rule the universe with an iron fist.

---

The current year is 2015 on earth. The humans of earth see the AUSM as their protectors with their mighty military strength, and government that rivals the UN. Despite the AUSM committing terrible acts upon the humans of earth at times because of earthling's ignorance. Despite this, the AUSM are accepted with open arms. The presence of the AUSM does not interfere with the day to day lives of earthlings. Infact earthlings for the most part are content with the AUSM military presence. But what the earthlings do not know is that the most feared intelligence agency in all of the universe are deployed on earth, carrying out various atrocious acts such as abductions, and executions.

Besides their usual underground activities, the OMNI agents are also tasked with making sure that all traces of the AUSM's secret empire and war are never uncovered. Many ufo enthusiasts will know them as the men and women in black. Swooping in and stealing all evidence of UFOs and denying all alien sightings. They are also tasked with monitoring all children who posses supernatural abilities from their early ages for the Elites. The most powerful and the most feared group of warriors. Their very name would send chills up any AUSM human or alien's body.

Once chosen, the children will be worked to develop their abilities, as they will become a part of something greater. Something that far exceeds their very understanding of existence, time, space, and reality.

Haru let out a sigh as he took his eyes off from his binoculars from the top of the building. "Gosh, this is boring. Can't we just take the person in now?" Haru said as he leaned back on his chair, wiping the sweat from the radiating sun's heat. "Firstly, that would be considered kidnapping, and lastly, stop slacking off. Would you rather be observing the potential new member or running laps like everybody else?" A voice said through Haru's ear piece. "Fine, fine." Haru said leaning back on his chair, resting his elbows on the cement balcony once more as he stared through the binoculars once again, zooming in on the target, making sure to not loose sight. "Sir, should we act now?" A deep voice came through Haru's ear piece.

"Not now. Keep your distance as per usual. Just keep looking like casual civilians until I tell you to interact with the target." Haru said back to his OMNI agents. "Just keep watching."

Relle lifted the large bag of groceries from the old woman's car, nearly scalding her tanned skin on the hot metal. It was a scorcher today. Record high. She was on her way up to her apartment when she noticed the woman that lives on the second floor struggling with unloading groceries from her car. This wasn't the first time Relle had stopped to help. In the months she'd lived here, she'd offered her assistance to the woman. But this time, she hesitated at the bottom of the steps as the woman continued up to her apartment to open the door. Relle knew where she lived, so she took a moment to figure out why she'd paused. Her slender form turned, still holding an armful of paper bags, to look around behind her. Why did she feel like she was being watched? With a confused look on her face, Relle scanned the buildings above her. The sun was too bright to really see anything and with her squinting in the sunlight, she probably just looked like an idiot. And besides, the city was so densely populated that someone probably was watching her. Or at least looking out their window. All the people in this city, and even a large amount in the building across the street. It wasn't unlikely that someone could be looking down on her.

Shrugging, Relle decided to let it go and moved to go up the stairs. But a stray cat that frequented the building, she'd named her Chibi, had nestled herself at Relle's booted feet. So as she took a step, the cat mewed, fearing being stepped on. Relle tried to overstep and just skip over the cat, but her feet were misplaced and she tripped on the stairs. The bags slid free from her arms and she gasped, waving her arm. The movement brought the entire scene to a standstill. The groceries, falling out of the bags as well as the bags, and her body, hovered in midair, as if gravity was suddenly void. Chibi lifted off the stairs and mewed again. Quickly, before anyone could notice, Relle lowered back down on the stairs and grabbed Chibi. She tucked the cat into the small bag that hung on her shoulder and gathered the groceries back into their sacks. There were old newspapers still floating, so Relle gave a wiggle, since her hands were tied up, and they began floating slowly back to lay on the cement staircase.

Relle quickly ran up the steps to catch up to the woman. She had just gotten to her apartment, so Relle help her store the food and supplies she'd bought before leaving. The woman offered to pay her, as she always did, but Relle declined. She was just on her way home from work. She'd been sent home from her shift early because the temperature was so high that no one was coming in. And she had picked up the shift for extra cash. The manager would let her come back tonight though, so Relle figured she'd eat and sleep and attempt to ignore the massive heat radiating all around her.

"Whoa." Haru said, nearly bursting up, out of his chair as he saw what had just happened. "You saw that right?"

The person on the other side sighed. "Yes, Haru, I saw that. And I took record of it." While the person was lecturing Haru, Haru simply mimicked his supervisor silently since he was getting annoyed with all her nagging. "Alright. I'm moving in." Haru said standing up. "We've got enough evidence."

"Wait. Haru." The supervisor said before Haru shut off his ear piece. "Sorry." Haru then turned around to face the opposite side of the building, taking in the site of the city. It wasn't nearly as impressive as the mega-structures in the AUSM but, considering he was an earthling himself, he still found the city breathtaking and beautiful. "What a lovely day."

"Alright, I want squads 1, 2 and 4 to surround the building while squad 3 goes in to take our guest of honour. Understood?" Haru said. "Understood sir." A deep voice said. In a black Versatran Sedan, a black suited man with jet black sunglasses turned off his hologram phone monitor as he started to give out commands. Pretty soon, several black armoured Versatran Sedans were parked on either side of the apartment with agents on standby, while several agents got out of their sedans and made their way into the building. The three OMNI agents got into the elevator with another apartment resident who gave them a funny and questionable look right up until the three got off the elevator and made their way to the door of their target.

One Agent stood next to the wall, gun drawn while the other two stood directly in front of the door as one rang the bell. "Set accelerator energy to minimal. We need her alive." Haru said as he observed the entire scene unfold form his binoculars as he used a feature built within them which allowed him to see through the walls and observe the agents. "Are you in position sir?" The deep voice asked.

"yes, Yes, don't worry, I'll come aid you if it is needed." Haru said brashly. "Carry out the operation."

The Agent nodded at his partner as the two awaited for the door to open.

Relle had just stepped into her bathroom to take a quick shower when the bell rang. Who could that be? At 17, nearing 18 in under a month, Relle lived alone in the small apartment. Her mom had died giving birth to her younger brother, who was always sickly and passed when he was 7. Her father worked in the mine and in the worst mine collapse of this sector's history, he was killed, buried deep under the dirt. It's been two years since her father's death, and since then, she's worked to keep herself fed and the apartment paid for. She was, for lack of a better word, broke. She often went hungry, getting rations when she could mooch or buy them. Her jacket was hanging on the door as she opened it and her tattooed shoulders were exposed. Relle first worked at a bar, picking up dirty glasses and plates and doing dishes. Though now she danced at one of the many night clubs in the area. She lied about her age to get in, but the place was grimy enough to overlook the lie and hire her because she was a pretty girl.

She walked over to the door and grabbed the handle, cracking it open and looking out into the hallway. "Hello?"

Once the door opened up, one of the OMNI agents opened up the door forcibly as he and the other OMNI agent entered. "You call the authorities, we will eliminate all law enforcement and, the United States Government will suffer the consequences for your actions earthling so listen well." The OMNI agent said in a stern and demanding tone. "Come with us. We are not asking, this is an order from our top brass."

"I suggest that you do not show any resistance, otherwise we will be forced to apprehend you." The Agent behind said. "Now, come with us quietly. And we promise your safety."

"The're engaging the target." The deep voice said through the earpieces of all the Agents including Haru. "All units on standby." Haru ordered as the OMNI agents inside the car got out of their cars as they pulled out their sidearms. "Is the coast clear?"

"The AUSM CMP should be re-routing traffic. Can't let earthlings see this."

"Enough with the chit chat. Focus." Haru said interrupting the conversation as he continued to observe the agents. "Steady. Do not show hostility. Just grab her and lets go." Haru said to himself.

"Who are you?" Relle stepped back away from the door, moving to stand behind the small table in the kitchen. "I don't have anything. I haven't done anything. I have no money to give you." She trembled slightly, the large intimidating men. Her blue eyes narrowed as the suits suddenly became familiar. "What do you want with me?" She reached into the drawer and pulled out a knife. While she grabbed the knife to defend herself, she remained backed up against the counter, not moving.

And what safety? Where were these protectors when her apartment was getting broken into while she was at work? Or she was getting robbed of her last morsel of food or penny on the street? Relle had to fight for everything she had. Which wasn't much. She'd have been thrust into the system just like any other orphan if she hadn't been already 16 when her father was killed in the mine collapse. She was too old to be wanted and adopted so they'd leave her to die. She only did what she had to survive. She didn't steal, take more than she was allotted or partake in alcohol or drugs. "Please leave me alone."

The lead agent grabbed the knife with a firm grip and took the knife out of Relle's hands. "You don't need to know who we are. Because it it irrelevant. We are just security from the AUSM." The Agent spoke. "Until you come with us quietly, we are not leaving. You should know this by know earthling. When someone older asked you something, you should obey. Especially if they are from the AUSM." The Agent behind said. Meanwhile, the third agent stood outside of her apartment still with his gun drawn, as did the agents surrounding the apartment.

"Sir, the earthling civilians are getting rowdy." One of the CMP officers said through the radio of his armoured patrol car. On the back of the car was a heavy chaingun, manned by a CMP officer. "We're almost done. Just wait a little bit longer." Haru said through the radio. "If they get too rowdy, just fire warning shots." The Officer took Haru's words as he waved at the CMP officers.

Meanwhile, Haru continued to observe the scene through his binoculars. "Come on, come on."

In a different part of the city, a young female threw a slightly thick, black metal briefcase to the ground as the case opened up, revealing several weapons and an array of different blades and devices. "God, Haru." The Female cussed as she attached a device to her arm, before placing it in front of the blade assembly as the blades were all inserted into the device. "Why are you so reckless?" The female stood up, and put on a pari of jet black combat shades over her eyes as the brief case closed automatically. "Hey, I'm in position."

"Now? Okay." The Female said, immediately jumping out of the window of the building.

"Please leave me be. I have nothing for you." Relle moved from the kitchen and backed away, her steps leading her toward the back window. "I have no money. No savings. No food." Chibi mewed from the bed in the back room and came running to Relle, brushing nervously against her booted feet. Relle quickly kneeled down to grab the cat, holding her tightly in her arms. Relle didn't know what these men wanted with her. She knew that AUSM was brutalized and had way more power than she really deemed necessary. Taking over galaxies. Ruling the universe. Some brave and unlucky recruits sent to their deaths over and over again. Hell, she was just struggling to pay her rent and not starve to death.

God, I wish I could just disappear. It was like she could never get a break. Being a young female in this rough and urban city, she was constantly mugged and groped. She hardly got a day's rest. That's all she wanted. To be a child. Like she never had the opportunity to be. Fall in love. Paint her nails. Have a facial. But as soon as she thought of disappearing, there was a warping of sound waves. As if they seemed to fold before entering the ear and vibrate out of sync. Her body suddenly became super dense and she just sunk through the floor, breaking a hole in it. She screamed as she dropped, surprised at what she had done. She never had a problem with her abilities. And had hid them extremely well. Except for today where she had somehow managed to utilize them twice involuntarily. She'd always been able to affect gravity, and her father scolded her for juggling her toys in midair like a mobile over a baby's crib. She could create pockets of anti-gravity or super dense gravity or she could affect only herself. Even when swimming in the deep end of the pool, she could swim along the bottom of the depths as easily as swimming in the shallows. And she never had the ear popping or discomfort associated with the increased pressure at those depths. But she lived a modest life, and kept her abilities as secret as she could. She didn't even use them in the privacy of her home. Unless she couldn't absolutely help it, she did everything normally and manually. She just wanted to be okay.

Blinking up at the hole she'd made in the ceiling when she fell through, genuinely surprised at what she had just done. Chibi sat on her chest and she coughed in the dust of the aftermath. She came to a sitting position, shaking her hair to knock the insulation, drywall and other construction materials from her dark locks of hair. She had taken the brunt of the fall so Chibi wasn't injured, but the cat that had moved to her lap when she sat up, just stared at her. Relle didn't want to run, but she didn't want to go with them either. She attempted to quickly weigh what her best option would be. With a deep sigh, she came to a stand, holding the small black cat in her hand. Her chances were better following along. But every other floor was accessible by alternating staircases. So the agents would have to go all the way around to get down to her, which bought her some time.

Relle said in a quiet voice then looked around the empty apartment she'd fallen into. She spotted a notepad and a pen and began writing on a piece of the paper. It was an apology to whoever the owner was for the damage she'd accidentally inflicted. She ripped the sheet off and left it on the counter then began to write on a fresh sheet. There was an able bodied boy a couple years younger than her that lived on this floor. Relle didn't know how long she'd be gone and the old woman would be without someone to help her. In the short letter, Relle begged the boy to please make sure someone was available on Wednesday and Saturday in the early afternoon to help Ms. Tsukino and to tell her that Relle sent them. Relle ripped that sheet off and folded it in half and exited the small apartment, going down the hall to slip the note under the proper door. She still held Chibi close to her, and the cat purred as it nuzzled her. Maybe she'd be seeing her family much sooner than she thought. Relle took a seat at the top of the stairway that opened into the hallway of this floor and waited for the agents to find her.

The Agent tried to grab Relle as she fell through the floor but stopped just short to prevent himself from falling as well. The two stared down the hole for a second before they immediately ran out of the apartment room. "She's still alive. After her." The agent said as the three quickly ran down the stairs before they were stopped by Haru. "S-sir?" The lead agent said. "Just. Just stay here. Let me handle this." Haru said brashly as he ignored the agents, making his way down the steps until he finally reached the floor Relle was on. "Alright. We can do this two ways." Haru said as he walked down the steps. "Either, you can come with us peacefully, or, I'll have to aprehe-" Haru did not get a chance to finish his sentence as a female no older than he was popped out of thin air and round-house kicked Haru as he smashed through the door of the opposite apartment room. The girl seemed very irked as she warped a beaten up Haru back, grabbing his collar with her hands. "And what do we say to the god of death?" The Female asked in a irritated tone.

"Sorry....." Haru replied in a defeated and weak murmur as he was tossed aside, passing out. The female then turned around to face Relle. "You're Relle right?"

"Sarin." The Female said giving a smile. "Sorry about....This." Sarin said putting emphasis on the last word to signify the damages, including the timid OMNI agents, and Haru as she pointed out the mess that was created. "Listen. This might be a bit too much for you, as an earthling. But, you have certain abilities that Sashi has caught onto and, you're going to have to come with us. Since your further life here on earth where no one knows about these SUPER NATURAL abilities will be scared of you." Sarin said explaining the situation. "Plus, the US government might try and capture you. Which would get ugly, especially when the AUSM is trying to protect you."

"I'm very careful with my abilities. I'm a young female living alone. Like I don't have to watch out for myself, already." Relle stood up and looked the woman over, with a brow raised. Without her jacket, the intricate and dark tattoos on her shoulders, arm and chest stood out. "What do you want with me?" Her life was by no means lavish and, to be honest, was almost shitty. But she couldn't imagine what in the world AUSM could want with her. Relle wasn't much of a team player and had next to no friends. She had to take care of herself and she didn't want to put herself in jeopardy of someone realizing her abilities. She didn't want to be whisked off into the galaxy on some military mission claiming righteousness. All of it was ridiculous. But against all of her efforts, she's now been spotted as being a human with abilities. So she didn't really have much of a choice.

"Whatever." She said finally, dismissive of it all. Relle was an absolutely gorgeous girl. Voluptuous and able bodied with clear and intense blue eyes. In fact, she could pass as mean-looking as she stuck to herself and didn't really smile or talk. Not that she didn't have a good sense of humor or wasn't sociable, she just had to sell her soul just to make end's meet and she feared her friends would look down on her for her choice in jobs. And also, she would have to lie to her friends, as she played her age up to get the job at the gentleman's club and if they knew she was too young, they could rat her out, or somehow they'd mention it and someone that worked at the club would hear and she'd lose her job. "I'll go with you. Whatever it is you want from me. I don't have anything to give." Relle wiped off her pants then looked at the boy leaning against the wall, struggling to regain consciousness. Chibi was tucked between her arm and her body and Relle had to stroke between her shoulderblades to soothe the fussy hiss building up in her chest. "But I'm bringing the cat." Relle was the only one that fed the cat, really. If these people were going to ruin her mediocre life, the least they could do was let her take the cat.

"That's fine with us." Sarin said getting up. "Haru." Sarin said snapping her fingers at the young boy as he dusted himself off before running down the steps and jumping out the window. "Of all the ways he could get down, he chooses the one route that will raise eye brows and attention." Sarin said to herself as she made her way down the stairs as well. "Don't worry. You're safe." Sarin said to Relle as she exited the apartment building with multiple armoured black sedans were parked all around. "Ma'am, CMP says that they will clear the route." One of the Agents said as Sarin gave an approving nod. Sarin, and Haru both entered the back one of the the cars as they left the opposite seat for Relle to sit in. Once the agent shut the door, the vehicles immediately began to start moving through the slums.

"You're under our care now. And I, along with Haru here, and the others are here for you." Sarin said making hand gestures as she spoke to emphasize her message. "And because of this, I need to know something. Has there been anyone who has bullied you or treated you like dirt?" Sarin asked.

"She's asking because we want you to be safe. And not worry about prosecution from scums. Plus the AUSM does not want to deal with idiot humans either." Haru added. "It's best if you answered truthfully. Because everyone who has ever hurt you, will be dealt with and punish according to the AUSM Supreme Justice Court. And their fates will be decided on how severe their violations of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is."

"Do you have any other questions?" Sarin asked immediately after.

"I don't think it's really relevant if there were bullies." Relle shrugs, looking out the tinted window as they drove. "I don't really care what happens to anyone besides Chibi and Ms. Tsukino. The cat and old woman were the only two things that cared about Relle's well being or stuck around. She didn't deal with anyone else and had always kept a low profile. "I have no family or friends. I have associated with no one or really drawn enough attention to myself to be bullied." Relle shrugged again, thinking of the absurd question. Of course they would try and flaunt their power. Relle was a nameless girl, nearly. Lived alone. Orphaned. Stuck to herself. No one would notice her if she disappeared.

"I guess I'm wondering what the fuck you want with me. To exploit my abilities? I mean, I always knew there was a certain degree of scum about you guys, though I never thought in a million years that you go around abducting people." Her eyebrow was raised as she leaned forward, looking to Haru now. She noticed the earpiece he was wearing. "Who are you two, anyways? You seem to know me and want me to come along with you. But I don't have a clue as to who you are."

"Wait a second what?" Haru asked leaning forward, not taking lightly the insults that were being said. Sarin quickly put an arm in front of him as Haru quickly relaxed and sat back down. "Let get something straight here." Sarin said turning her head to Relle. "We're not scum. Yes we have a notorious reputation but, that reputation is because of our skills in combat. Not because we are some how barbaric child abductors."

"Secondly, if we were going to abduct you, I would have done it myself and you would not know what happened. One moment you're in you apartment, and the next, you're sitting in front of the most powerful man in human history. What we are doing is legal, because we at least follow laws set up by AUSM and the UN to a certain extent. And lastly." Sarin said before pausing. "Whatever you have heard about us, is. Not. True. Whatever you heard about how we go in guns blazing or we execute people randomly is not true." Sarin finished. "She probably got them from that club place she works at or something." Haru suggested. "Whoever told her about these lies for all i care can die. Because it's idiots like them who are making us look bad."

The vehicles continued on until they all took a sharp exit form the freeway towards a local road until they reached the AUSM Military Base or the American branch. The vehicles stopped at the gate as a laser grid scanned the vehicles one by one, right after, the vehicles drove down the base, past the main runway where a military shuttle was taking off. Sarin immediately got out of the vehicle with Haru tailing her as they guided Relle not towards the shuttles, but somewhere else. Sarin unlocked the doors as the lights turned on revealing a very clean, an bright room. "Haru, you know what to do."

"Yes I do." Haru said as he began to stretch. "Due to heavy traffic currently, instead of riding a shuttle, we are going to use alternative methods of transportation. We're going to warp to the AUSM HQ." Haru said explaining. "I can warp but, I am still not able to warp great distances as I am only a supernatural human being."

"Sarin here can with ease. Don't ask why, she's just capable. And, since it's your first time, it's going to be a bit disorienting. But not too extreme." Haru said finishing. "Do you have any questions?" Sarin said walking up.

Meanwhile in the AUSM Command.

"So, you want me to tap into her memories? Is't that technically intrusion of ones' private life?"

"Yes it is but, it's best to make sure nothing secret is known. Last thing I want is another meeting with the AUSM Supreme Council and the Supreme Congress."

"This accusation is just laughable." The lucid figure burned the sheet in the palm of his hands. "Honestly, the council and congress and those other committees are the least of our concerns. Imagine if Jenovah and Lucifer and all the other guys wanted a little 'talk' with us,"

"Fuck, forgot about the rulers of the other realms. Anyways, call back Rui from Virgo sector. And you know to call him back as well from Germany."

The lucid figure chuckled a little bit.

"What?"

"Nothing. Just feel sorry for him for our constant merciless roasts against him."

"Just call him back."

Relle sat back in the seat, her legs crossed and her brow raised high. "You still haven't answered my question." She leaned forward, with her arms on her knees, before she spoke again. "What. Do you. Want with me?" She asked the question in painfully slow sections, emphasizing the few words. "Besides, a notorious reputation is enough. One you've had yet to eradicate. So, please, forgive me if I'm not absolutely psyched to be here with you. I mean, my life isn't roses and daisies and I go hungry at least one day a week, but I have no family or friends and I live in seclusion. That must mean you know something about me or there's something you need me to do for you. So if we could cut the bullshit." Relle leaned back again in the car seat and took a deep breath. "That would be great."

As the car came to as top, Relle was ushered out. She held Chibi in her arm, rubbing between the small kitten's ears with the fingers of her other hand. "I've never heard of warping in my life. Except for warp speed." Relle gave a shrug, shuffling a bit in her black boots. "It's whatever. I could be sitting in my air conditioned apartment cuddling Chibi until I fall asleep." She sighed. Oh, how she loved her quiet life. Well, she hated it. Just like she had a baseline distaste for most anything and anyone. But as far as her ever growing list of things she disliked went, the activity places extremely high up. It's as close to happy as she can come. Even standing around, waiting for them to do this warp thing with her, she looked rather mean. Her sculpted and feminine face was set stubbornly and her striking blue eyes gave an intense gaze at everything she looked at.

"Sorry for not replying before." Sarin said approaching the two. "AUSM is more civilized than earth. We're not here to exploit anything. We're simply here to shield you from greedy governments on earth while letting you learn some new things." Sarin said as her black metal briefcase materialized in her hands. "That notorious reputation we have. Is a respectable reputation. People respect us. But others do not and decide to spread lies about the AUSM. I'm not the one to convince you. That's Sashi's job." Sarin finished as she looked at Haru who gave her a nod. "Alright. Ready?"

Sarin stretched out her palm as she pointed it towards Haru and Relle as everything went blank in a split second, before everything re-appeared. They were no longer standing inside a room, but just outside of a mega-scraper that stretched hundreds of stories. The workers that were going up were not fazed the slightest by the three's sudden appearance and continued their daily routines. In the sky above was earth in the distance as if it were a moon. Sarin guiding the two through the automatic doors to which there were two heavily armed cyborg-like soldiers, as the three past by a hologram security gate. Inside was a large open lobby with the balcony of 9 floors. There were hundreds of men and women in suits moving about, as well as soldiers and large back machines wielding large guns standing guard. Sarin guided them towards a separate door which led to a long narrow hallway as she put her hand up against the wall, causing the wall to become transparent as she walked through.

"You never told us about this." Haru said. "It's cause i'm in a rush right now. Plus you would all abuse it." Sarin replied as she stopped and the gates opened up to an elevator. Sarin tapped her transparent security card on the hologram module pad as a retina scanner came out. Once it confirmed her identity, the elevator shot down to it's destination. The darkness was quickly shifted to a large and busy control centre. "There's nothing special about it. It's just a large Combat centre for the AUSM's massive military. Though I'm not sure you know about that. Do you?" Haru asked as he turned to face Relle.

The elevator finally stopped as Sarin exited. "Alright, listen. I'll take you to where you need to be but I need to go somewhere so Haru will take care of the rest." Sarin said as she guided them through the long, brightly lit corridors. There were doors with windows but all of them were closed, while some were only opened up a tiny bit.

There were some people, no older than Haru and Relle were that were peeking out in curiosity.

They walked a little more as they passed a half opened door to which there was a blue haired, red eyed boy sitting casually ontop of a transparent table, conversing with the occupants in the room. The boy turned his head and gave a wave to Sarin who gave a wave back. "New kid?" The Boy asked.

"Yeah. New. She's the one that Sashi kept talking about." Sarin replied. "Hey, Stal. Can you take them through please? I have to go." Sarin said as she gave a wave to the two before running off. "Sure thing." The boy said as he hopped off and walked towards the group stopping just before Relle. "So, you're that new girl were been hearing a lot about. Name's Staleys Santiara." Staleys said leaning forwards slightly before retracting to a straightened position. "Tell me, did Mr. Haru here have to apprehend you?" Staleys asked. "Shut it." Haru said irked. "Just open the door and let us through."

"Okay, okay." Staleys said taping his card as the doors opened up. "Right this way." Staleys said as he showed the two to the door. "I'll talk and notify him. Just stay out here for a while." Staleys said as he shut the door behind him.

"So, what do you think?" Haru said breaking the silence. "We're not awful people. Staley's is just a. Special? Yeah special guy. But, mostly everyone here is kind. We're not barbaric either."

The warping was extremely disorienting, even for Relle. The moment they were pulled from their current location, it was as if some innate force surrounded Relle. In fact, she only felt disoriented for the first millisecond, and then it dissipated. As they appeared in front of the building, she was able to walk without difficulty, though she felt as though she should be stumbling. Where had they taken her? Some super fancy military base? Of course it was.

Relle's stomach growled and she groaned to herself. That's right, she was about to make lunch when they came for her. And she hadn't eaten since...at the club two nights ago. It was almost painful how hungry she was. The Staleys boy lead them to the door. This entire situation had Relle completely confused. She lived a quiet life, under the radar, no family. Sure she had some abilities, but it's not like she went around flaunting them. Then they swoop her up and start asking her about people that have bullied her? Why would that even matter? She was a nobody. Relle had no money or family savings. And really, she was just fucking confused. "What do you mean, 'what do I think?'" She almost burst out at Haru. "First, you break into my home. I haven't eaten for almost two days. You guys start talking about my abilities and I don't know what I have to do with anything. And what was he saying about me being the girl someone's been talking about?" Chibi wiggled free from Relle's arms in her outburst and had wedged blackhaired body between Relle's black boots. As quickly as she'd flared, Relle returned to being almost cold and expressionless. She folded her arms across her chest and just sighed.

She took the time waiting to be let into wherever they were headed to walk a few steps around the area. It was unlike any place she'd ever been before. "What planet are we on? Are we in a different galaxy? Different system?" Relle's blue eyes settled on Haru. Her hands had opened to rest on her upper arms. Goosebumps covered the creamy colored skin of her arms and she moved her hands up and down her arms, attempting to warm it up. She was still dressed in what she wore on days she served at the club. The sweetheart cut top exposed quite a bit of her ample chest and exposed her lean torso. Her waist was slim and while she didn't have a six pack, her abdomen was toned. A large and elaborate tattoo of a pink lotus rose up over her right hip. Though the waist band of her black cargo-style pants covered up all but the two petals exposed, it was still considerably sized. The entire tattoo covered her hip and went down her thigh and its width reached her inner thigh and almost around her butt cheek. It wasn't the most painful of her tattoos, but it was definitely high up on her list. "And," she began. "Who are we waiting to see?" Her hand moved from her arm and she pointed toward the closed door.

Haru was taken a back slightly by the lecture he received from Relle. "It's not like we have a choice. I mean. The only other option was forcing our way into your apartment. And yes, I know the Irony in that statement because it was either going to be passively aggressive entrance or, aggressive entrance." Haru said. "I'm in no position to disclose any sensitive information." Haru commented about who this mysterious person was. "And for your information, we are still in the Sol System. The same system which contains Earth. If you did not already notice the earth in the distance when we got here."

"Yeah. You'll find out eventually." Haru said as the door opened up. "Both of you." Staleys said as he ecstatically pointed through the door as his attempt at creating a happy environment failed as Haru ignored him and entered. "This way." Haru said to Relle as he shut the door. "Kids these days." Staleys said with a smile while shaking his head.

Haru turned around to a pitch black room as the row of lights turned on row by row, revealing two boys. One standing while the other was sitting down in front of a table. "You like our new gimmick?" The boy with the lighter blonde hair and green eyes said with a smile at Haru as he pointed at the lights. "You guys kept complaining to make it more serious so we decided to add some fancy stuff." The darker blond haired, blue eyed boy said. "Stop acting like a child and just talk to this girl already!" Haru said in frustration as he pointed at Alex and John. "Fuck." Haru said as he walked back to a corner of a room and leaned back. Alex cleared his throat and got up form his seat. "Sorry for that."

"Lets clear things up and start from a clean slate Relle." Alex motioned Relle to take a seat before sitting down himself. "I'm sorry for essentially dragging you here unexpectedly. Along with any inconvenience that you may have experienced. From this moment on, I will be truthful and answer all your questions. And I will expect the exact same truthfulness back when I ask you things as well. First off. I'm Mr. Sashi. You can call me Alex. The gentleman behind me is John my brother. And You've already met Haru and Sarin." Alex said. "We are known as Elites. John and I are the commanders of the group as well as the supreme leader and Vice-leader of the AUSM. Listen. You may have doubts about us, and I can respect that. because majority respect us but, there are those who despise us and spread lies. I don't blame you if you think we are bad. But I am here to tell you this, we are not bad people. I have ethics. And I do not raise elites to be some barbaric blood-thirsty murderer. That's the last thing I want my friend to become." John nodded his head in agreement, so did Haru.

"You're here because I, along with John and certain others believe that you have potential. But also to, if possible. Help you with turning over a clean slate and start over. It's also why Sarin asked if anyone has ever bullied you. Because the moment you stepped inside that van, as the moment you were integrated into this family and community. And the last thing I want is the people that I have an obligation to look after, being tormented by useless human beings. It's happened. Multiple times. And to be honest, I'm sick of it. Which is why Sarin asked you that. To be honest though, she really should not have." Alex said pausing before leaning forward. "You have gifts that others do not. And we, the AUSM are not here to exploit your abilities. But we are here to help control your abilities and gain more knowledge. You're going to doubt these word at first. And I don't blame you for it. But just know that we are here to take you under our protective wing from here on out."

"So you're insinuating that I lack control?" Relle's eyebrow was raised as she looked between the two. She wanted to protest, but her stomach was painfully empty. It was past growling consistently and had relegated to a discomforting cramp in place of the grumbles. Relle tried to take a deep breath, the hunger nearly overpowering her will, at the moment. Chibi whined and brushed against Relle's boot, purring softly. The sweet kitten was always trying to comfort her. "It's okay, Chibi. I'm fine." Relle leaned down to give the soft black fur of the cat a rub. "Respect, I feel is a bit slighted, the way you guys figure it. Fear isn't respect. Maybe it's respect for the hierarchy. Just because a gazelle wouldn't bump heads purposefully with a lion doesn't mean the gazelle respects it. Lions prey on gazelle. If anything, they respect their position on the food chain. But what do I care?" She really didn't. She was opinionated, but it was none of her business, so she kept her nose clean and her mouth shut, otherwise. It was AUSM's fault the mine collapsed, taking many lives, including her father's, in the process. But it was only speculated as to which sector was responsible. They'd claimed it to be "an unfortunate gamble they had to take to ensure the safety of the entire planet" and that was all they ever said about it. So it was safe to say, Relle didn't care much for the military. At all.

"I guess the past is in the past. I'm pretty used to moving past things, but what is it you want from me? Why have you been watching me so closely? I know I have abilities no one else does. " She was getting closer to realizing that she would probably not be able to go back to her normal life ever again. Her normality was all she had left. Relle was old enough to remember her mother dying giving birth to her brother, so of course she remembered her brother's death, and her father's death was still a jagged and raw gouge into her chest she hasn't been able to effectively sew up, just yet. If she stuck to her schedule, and made things work for herself, like she always had to do, and did, it got better to handle. "I don't know what you two have been looking at. Or what you think I have
potential to do. Is this how you recruit people into the Elites?" Relle looked around her, but there was only the two, and Haru. So she thought of Staleys. "You basically steal people, tell them they have potential so that they feel like they've been recruited. It's more like being drafted."

She was just getting frustrated at this point and was too hungry to even sift through whatever it was she was feeling. So Relle decided to just drop it. She wasn't even on earth anymore, so if she somehow managed to get away, she still couldn't go back home. "So what is this place? Where you train everyone up to go settle intergalactic disputes that's too big of a task for AUSM?"

"In a sense. You might have power but, if you can't control them, then what's the point of using them to their full potential?" Alex said. "Like I said Relle. You are our responsibility. I have absolute power over earth, which enables me to ensure your safety from certain people scums. That's all I can say right now. It's partly because you're just not ready to hear why. I know you'll be frustrated by the answer but, please understand. When that time comes, you'll know why we've been watching you from a distance."

"And no we don't steal people. They come willingly. They're not forced to join. They make that decision themselves." Alex said leaning back on his chair. "And yeah, like you said. It's the training place. Not really training though. Though it kinda is." Alex paused. "We don't need to settle disputes. That's the army's job."

"Well." Alex said standing up. "that's all I wanted to say for now. We can discuss more in the future. Haru."

"Eh?" Haru said looking up. "Why don't you show our new member up to the mess area?" Alex said. "Fine." Haru replied getting up and walking up to Relle. "Yo, lets go." Haru said exiting the room. He started to walk down the long white corridors once again, greeting his fellow elites with a smile whenever the greeted him. He stopped in front a pair of doors, opening them revealing rows of tables and a number of elites seated at most of the tables except for several vacant ones. "Pick what you want. I'll go sit down." Haru said waving off as he went down to sit with several of his comrades.

"So, you decided not to say anything about that mine thing she was talking about?" John said tossing Alex a soda can. Ale caught it and punched the top, creating a hole as he drank out of it. "No. To be honest it was a little bit of a shock to me. But, I feel like if I were to ask, i'd cause a lot of fractures because it would essentially mean that I can read minds." Alex said.

"Isn't that what you always do? Primarily to just get us in trouble and punish us?" Stan said jugging an entire bottle of tequila. Alex threw his can, hitting Stan across the head, partially knocking him out. "And you, sir need to fix your drinking problems."

"Okay." Stan said getting up. "I think we can all agree that I do not drink too much. Neither does Staleys. The really culprits are Rey, Connor and Vincent."

"Haha." Rey said chugging a bottle of Vokda. "I do not have a problem. I simply love my country's water."

"No, you drink at least 3 bottles of vodka a day you drunk." Vincent said turning around.

"Ah, look at our little German lad. Scolding us about not being sober when he has a pitcher of laggar beer in his hands." Rey said. "It's Been A While!" Vincent shouted back before turning around. "Weak." Rey said giving a friendly smile.

"So, who's the lucky person that's getting to help her integrate in?" Riza said attempting to change the topic. "Do you even know what she might be using?"

"Yeah. Yeah. It's Vincent that's gonna be lecturing her." Alex said sorting through the lounge refrigerator.

"What?" Vincent said turning his head around before getting up from his seat. "HEY! I was saving those!" Vincent yelled as Alex put the tray into the microwave. "If it ain't got a name. Then it ain't yours." Alex said to Vincent before turning his head to give a sly grin of victory, as Vincent collapsed to the floor. "I was saving that. For Oktoberfest." Vincent said in a sullen tone.

Relle went over to the selection of food with slow and grudging steps. Chibi followed after her, her small black legs moving furiously to keep up with Relle. As she looked up, Relle saw the looks of the other Elites. Some on her, as she was obviously new, but most of them on the cat trailing her. The staring bothered her, so she just pretended not to notice it.

There were quite a few things to choose from, and Relle was so used to eating simply, if at all. She didn't know what half this shit was. She settled on a plate of rice drowned in reliable-looking chicken curry and grabbed a bottle of water before going to find Haru. In fact, she hadn't paid attention to where he sat at all. And now as she looked out at all of the people staring at her. Luckily, her eye spotted Haru quickly and she walked over to the table, setting the tray down before taking a seat. Though she sat next to Haru, she was a couple feet from him, almost facing away. It would be a while before she even began to feel comfortable here. And probably even longer before she trusted anyone. As far as she was concerned, she didn't owe them a damn thing and had nothing to offer them.

Really, the whole thing confused her. Get her powers under control? For what? Just to have to go out and fight for AUSM? It was pretty ass backwards. In exchange for the protection and training she didn't want or ask for, she would have to fight for AUSM in return. The food tasted rather good and she tried not to eat too fast to seem like some barbarian, but she was quite hungry and finished the food off soon. She reached for the water and opened it, taking a long drink of the liquid. Setting it down she looked up to glance around the room, her eyes landing on a pair of ice blue ones staring right at her.

Svetslana had heard of the new girl coming into the facility, and to be honest, she wasn't happy about it. Of course she was only a newbie and incomparable in terms of power to the higher ups of the Elites, but she was still very strong. She knew who the girl was and had heard all of the rumors about her. Though she wasn't sure what her abilities were, Svetslana could tell that she was obviously a rival. Why else would the entire facility be buzzing about her arrival if she wasn't some prodigy or had a decent set of abilities to contribute?

Svetslana's hair was straight and neat as a pin with no hair out of place. A woman of her pedigree had to look her best at all time. A little primping never hurt anyone. And from what she saw across the room as she looked over Relle, the dark haired girl could use a little grooming. Though, she did have to admit that Relle's body was very well toned and proportioned. Svetslana's chest were practically mosquito bites compared to Relle's. And she had beautiful hair that though Svetslana had an almost uncontrollable urge to order the girl to brush it well, still looked remarkable. They looked into each other's eyes for a quick moment before Svetslana broke the stare. She was new to the facility and didn't plan on starting problems while establishing her dominance. At least not now. So she stood up and grabbed her tray. She'd had a modest sized salad and a juice. She didn't even look back at Relle as she threw the trash out and exited the mess hall.

There would have been shouting in the hallways as Stan turned the corner with a mischievous smile on his face, running through the halls still laughing. Behind him was Lloyd who did not look the slightest bit happy as he chased Stan with one of his swords. Following behind him were a group of several fellow original elites who were curious as to what would happen.

Stan burst into the dining hall laughing before taking a look back and shouted something in Spanish before running into the kitchen area. Shortly afterwards, Lloyd burst in with his sword drawn. He stared at everyone in the dining hall when one of them pointed the door that Stan had fled through as Lloyd began his pursue once again.

Several seconds later, Riza, Rey, Etrius, Staleys, and Boomer all caught up with some of the members still laughing. The group of elites pointed their superiors at the door as they all practically shoved each other to see what would happen.

The Veteran Elites that were present were all sitting on the elevated floor in the back, which was reserved only for them. They all had a disappointing look on their faces as they watched the Original Elites who were far superior then they were and suppose to be leaders act like children. Meanwhile, most others were curious as to what had happened this time around, leaving some curious.

"The hell was that all about?" Haru said quietly before turning back. His facial expression visibly changing as soon as he saw who was sitting directly opposite to him. "Uh. It's you."

"Little thief, that's my line." The Blue haired boy said annoyed.

"Oh ho. So I'm a Thief now you beanie emo." Haru countered. Erix smashed his he'd against Harus as the two starred daggers at each other .

"Little brat." Erix said. "Who you calling brat hobbit?" Haru said insulting the way Erix was dressed. "Piercing emo." Erix said. "Partying drunkard." Haru replied.

"Guys." A fiery red haired girl said annoyed by the twos bickering. She had her hair tied back to a ponytail and had bright green eyes as they stared at both Erix and Haru annoyingly. "If this is another one of your bickering, I suggest taking your potty fights elsewhere and act more mature. "

"Huh." Erix said turning to the girl. "Who do you think you are talking to us like that?" Haru said staring at.

Emi smirked. "Maybe I should tell Rui about your petty fight." Hearing that name caused Erix and Haru to shrivel up and tremble with fear. "Emi, you snake." Erix said. Emi started to chuckle before catching the sight of Relle.

"Yo." Emi waved to get Relle's attention. "Come sit with us." Emi said smiling and motioning her hand to come sit with the rest.

----

"The fuck was that?" Vincent asked in a still bewildered voice.

"God dammit Stan." Alex said. "We were enjoying our little conversation and yet your stupid ass just had to tell you to troll Lloyd." John shook his head as he showed the photo once again to Alex and Vincent who started to laugh again. "I'm going to ask Dré to Photoshop this." John said as his voice cracked from trying to stem his laughter.

----

Lloyd swung his straight sword with a single edged tip, cutting all the cutlery and food that Stan was tossing at him. "Hey, it's like that ios game fruit ninja." Stan said.

"Quit messing around you swine." Lloyd said frustrated by Stan's games as he launched himself forward. Stan screamed as he jumped out of the way, barely missing the sword as it cut through the box on the table as fruits, cut in half were tossed into the air.

Riza stared at the head chef's shocked look. The pink haired girl smiled and put her arms around his shoulder. "Cheer up big man, at least you don't have to cut the vegetables and fruits for dinner time now."

"I'm going kill you so hard, you'll wish that it was Alex who was killing you!" Lloyd shouted. "I'm sorry!" Stan said still running around the kitchen. "Screw you an your sorry." Lloyd said cutting through a box of food once again.

----

The ruckus inside the kitchen could be heard loud and clear as the Elites simply brushed it off, returning to their conversations. "Honestly, after a week. You're going to get use to that kind of stuff." Emi said pointing at the screaming, cluttering and the sound of laughter emitting from inside the kitchen. "It's pretty much almost routine."

"But, you know. The Veteran guys are all just like." Emi cleared her throat. "Hey. Stop with the immaturity. You guys are suppose to take this seriously." Emi said in a deep voice, imitating the veteran elites. "I swear, the apprentices act more Elite like at times. More than the actual original members do."

Relle simply watched as the commotion caused quite the scene in the kitchen. She could care less. It wasn't a fight she was apart of, so why would she even be interested in why it was occurring. "I don't really care." Relle scooped a large portion of rice into her mouth then stared at the red-haired girl, chewing as her blue eyes looked the girl over. Of course Relle didn't plan on fighting, that was never her girl, but a whole bunch of abducted stragglers just hanging out together like this? It was definitely weird. Though Relle could figure that some of them were wayward, as she was. Orphaned, like her, or maybe cast out from their families and towns for their abilities. Relle was safe. They might have been seeking refuge in this odd place but Relle just wanted to be left alone.

Chibi jumped from her lap and on to the table to sit next to her plate. "I'm sorry, Chibi." Relle apologizes and puts a piece of curried chicken into her mouth whole. She doesn't chew the meat, but sucks the curry sauce off the chicken until the cooked meat has been cleaned of the spicy curry. Relle puts her fingers between her lips to catch the small piece of meat and then holds her hand out to Chibi. The cat purrs and leans forward, nibbling at the meet in Relle's hand. "Sweet girl."

She then looked back up at the people sitting at the table and shrugged. "I mean, every group is bound to have their issues." She purposefully excluded herself from this "family" of Elites in this establishment. And she was taking an unapologetic remark at them with her comment. She felt nothing for them, or for anyone, really. But she was here. She might as well get in whatever jabs she could.

"What is this just a place for a bunch of people to act like children?" Relle rested her elbows on the table. "Or is immaturity going to be some wildly rampant disease that spreads like wildfire?" Maybe the hunger was affecting her more than usual. Relle could always talk game, but she wasn't typically a girl of many words. She said what she meant and meant what she said. Usually didn't make for a particularly detailed or extensive conversation. "So when does this training or whatever start? What am I exactly supposed to be doing while I'm here? Since apparently I'm stuck here against my own will."

Several Elites turned around to stare down Relle for her remarks before turning their backs to her. "Uh." Emi said looking around giving a nervous laugh. She then pulled Haru and Erix aside as they whispered among-st each other before sitting back down. "Yeah. Lets go." Emi said. "That includes you," Emi added pointing at Relle as the three gathered their things and headed out. Emi closed the door behind them, turning around.

"Listen. Even if you are not too happy, you should not boast out remarks like that." Haru said crossing his arms. "You're just going to make yourself look bad in front of everyone."

"What good is it? You saw those guys gazes." Erix said. "Probably read her mind too." Emi and Haru stared at Erix. "What?" Erix said confused.

"Never mind." Emi said. "You said you wanted to know about this training thing. Training is determined by whoever decided to train you. Usually, one of the originals and a veteran member. But, you can go and screw around or train whenever you want." Emi said walking down the hall. "Follow me."

Both Haru and Erix also followed as they walked through the brightly lit hallways of the underground military base. Past several intersections and elevators until Emi stopped at a large blast gate. Emi slid her card as the large gates opened up to a large viewing area. Inside was a large training facility, big enough to fit a small city inside. There were already Elites inside, as well as elites sitting on the benches or conversing with each other. Some of the elites who were in the dining hall were also there as well. They walked down to one of the elevators which had glass walls all around with a hologram panel. Emi pressed the bottom button as the elevator went down to the first floor. Inside, there were multiple Elites training or having mock battles.

Sarin had a clipboard and was talking to a group of 3 people, while Riza was on the opposite end of the room talking one on one with another kid.

Lloyd was also there. He had several swords out on the table and was talking to a group gathered around the table.

Several people called out to Emi as one of them tossed her, her sword encased inside the sheath. Emi grabbed it and turned around. "I'm off. I leave the rest to you two them." Emi said before waving them off and running towards the group. "Yeah, I'm going." Erix said as he walked off leaving Haru.

"I understand if you are angry. I really did not accept being here for a while. But I was never abducteed either. Like everyone else, I was brought here but, everyone here. We all made the choice to stay." Haru said. "By the way. Back at the dining hall, I caught one of the girls staring at you. Does she know you or something?"

Relle rolled her eyes. "I'm an poor orphan from the slums, Haru. I don't know anyone." Her voice was bleak as she spoke, not really paying much attention to him at all as he spoke through all of that. But she'd paid attention enough to offer him another response. "As far as I'm concerned. I didn't ask for this. I will say what I please, which is what I see. If they act like children I shall call them childish. Plain and simple." Relle looked around the training facility, admittedly intrigued by what she saw. Honestly, if she could train and not have to go anywhere or do anything, she'd be in hog heaven. With hot meals everyday, a place to rest her head... and air conditioning and electricity. She was opportunistic, she also admitted to herself. But if they were going to pull her from her life, she would milk it. She doubted she'd be of much use to them. Relle wasn't much of a team player.

Chibi mewed and rubbed against her boots. "I'm sorry, baby." Relle cooed and kneeled down to pet the cat before picking her up in her arms. "It's not being crass, either. Or maybe it is. I don't really care. I don't know anyone in here and therefore have nothing really to say about anyone. And what did she mean 'read my mind'? Has someone been waiting on me here? I don't know anyone, as I said before. If they know of me, someone has been creeping on me hardcore." She gave a soft laugh as she looked at the weapon selection. Swords. Lots of swords. Pistols, assault rifles, sniper rifles. Machetes, shanks. Nunchucks. Neither of these were her style. Relle fancied a go with the pistol, but it was a feigned whim. She was a bit more gritty. Less passive aggressive when it came to settling disputes. Relle didn't talk much, so she wasn't much use in an argument. If there was a conflict that required a fight to settle, she didn't feel the need to hide behind knives and guns. She was perfectly capable with her fists. And that was when she saw them.

The set was silver, with studded knuckles and the metal was shiny and flawless. They looked as though they were constructed to absorb quite a lot of impact, and any resistance they couldn't take dead on would be redirected to crumple zones. She moved quickly over to the gauntlets and looked over them. They looked untouched. They were untouched. They were still attached to each other with a strip of durable plastic. "So we just choose something and have a go at it?" Her eyebrow was raised as she looked back at Haru. She set Chibi down beside her and picked up the gauntlets. Her father had taught her quite a bit about metal and as she looked over the gauntlets a bit more closely, she saw that for all intensive purposes, they were rather well made.

With a slight pull, the plastic snapped off and fell to the floor. She didn't hesitate at stuffing her hands inside of them, and she would have grinned, if she smiled at all. But her eyes were quite alight with interest and satisfaction. She held her hands up, the gauntlets massive on her arms, but the fit was only slightly loose. It wasn't something a little grip wouldn't fix.
