Warhammer 40k- (Retconning.)

Ngl, a little disappointed this roleplay wasn't about playing actual chaos heretics instead of a fanon created super faction.

Butttttt, any 40k rp is a good rp, so I hope it goes super well for you mate!

Technically I wouldn’t call it a super faction. It has plenty of disadvantages. Namely size and reach being severely limited as well as a pretty hefty numerical disadvantage…sadly most times I try for a chaos story it turns into gore porn.

however chaos will play a role and they may be available for play later…after all it’s not impossible for someone to be Chaorupted.

Plus I would love to see a Tau Astartes converted to chaos

.. Its a faction that found an STC that didn't give them or or two things, but enough tech to make them better then the Imperium at large and they, luckily, had the industrial and resource base to make use of it all. It found the body of a lost primarch and now makes their own Space Marines which is... I don't even... Could have just been joined by a Renegade Space Marine chapter but went the extra mile and now they have their own, unique, Space Marines. Its so special its making a bunch of Inquisitors come running to try and stop them, despite the fact its pretty rare for Inquisitors to work together much less a bunch come running [They didn't even do that when the Nids were rampaging around] and bring them down. Its a super fanon faction which just really kills any interest I have. It goes against all the themes and flavors I enjoy about the setting. Its not for me.

But I wish you luck anyways!

Well the Inquisition was launched not specifically for this faction but rather for the larger problem of insurrection all over the place. The ones coming here are murder horny because of the Heretical claims of Xeno-Human cooperation

The unique marines are just alternate stats from the Tau joining in.

the body of the Primarch being found here on this planet is by no means a boon…after all something had to kill him, it’s something meant to be a spoiler for something else.

to each their own, just feels a bit insulting to come and critique something with no intention of joining .

Also the STC didn’t allow them to rival the imperium it let them independently produce materials to fight the imperium and it alone is a reason for entire fleets to be sent from the imperium as has happened before in the lore.

Though I’ll admit you have some points so I will likely be taking this back to the drawing board. If you’d like to help make something more lore friendly I’m down but the idea was to make a more diverse faction so that RPers could have more options without overwhelming me with a seven to nine pronged war as is the norm in warhammer.
