Wanted: Prince

Mugcake

Pastry-chan
When a young prince found out that he's betrothed to an infamously bratty noblegirl cousin, he did what every boy his age in the same situation would do: runaway!

In disguise, he enjoys the life of a carefree drifter for years. Eventually, he grew into an esteemed adventurer who acts as an errant knight, helping those he crosses paths with. One day, he receives a request to escort a young lady cross-country to the other side of the kingdom where her father lived. Little did he know that she was the girl he was supposed to marry.

Humiliated for having the groom leg the wedding and anguished that her mother fell ill after the shameful event spread amongst the people, the noblegirl plays coy and sets her vengeful plans into action. And while she tells herself she wouldn't forgive him even over her dead body, she finds it hard to maintain her spite around him...

Amidst their bickering, something dark conspires in the castle.

((Sorry I couldn't put too much, again.))

The sun's rays bounced off the smooth metaled handle of the sheathed blade on a young man's belt. He had his head slightly bowed, but he was used to doing so since not many greeted him with a 'good day!' or a 'how do you do?' or anything else along those lines. As quick as he titled his head, he straightened up once more, like a nod. "Well," he said towards the person he was requested to escort. "Shall we be off, then?" A gust of wind moved by him, tousling even more Gideon's already disheveled blonde hair, but he paid it no heed. No matter how many times he tries to fix his hair, there will always be something that will make people think that he keeps it unkempt. Gideon adjusted his fingerless gloves, pulling on it and then let his arms fall to his sides.

He seemed fairly fine with fulfilling what he was supposed to do, since helping people out was quite natural to him, and he enjoyed receiving his rewards, which were the bright faces of the happy clients, the joyful laughter of the children, and of course, there were also some who were oh so generous. Gideon glanced up at the sk
y for a brief moment. He wondered how the day would go, and onward. He didn't like assuming things, but it helped him get a grasp of what could, or would happen.
