Eight Thousand Club
This is sort of a the Last Ship meets the Walking Dead kind of Roleplay.
Plot: In this zombie infected world there is a fleet of warships, submarines, and some civilian ships they are of various militaries of various nations. They have gotten together out of the need to survive and hope to restore the world. This fleet doesn't go near any mainland areas and simply sail the oceans. They sometimes leave groups to maintain outposts at island Military bases such as Guantanamo Bay, the Falkland Islansa, and Diego Garcia. This is to prevent the madness of the world from spreading to their ships, they are essentially the one true safe haven. This safe haven is a closely guarded secret and well defended, because of that they do have missions to further their goal of saving the world.
They send out operative groups to the mainland to act as survivors. These groups have one job and that is to promote the growth and development of human civilization. They do this by identifying and helping out communities eventually assimilating into them. They never bring up the fleet or even discuss it. One such group of Operatives has made it to the DC area and stumbled upon Alexandria which shows great promise. They hope that through developing the communities Alexandria are affiliated with they can eventually bring the entire DC area and DC itself back to life.
Players can choose to play OC survivors, people from the fleet, or canon characters.
