VAMPIRE MANOR (RP)

Ethel sighed and she nodded before placing her hands in front of her instead of behind her back. "I know but I will break off ties with him if I am extremely unhappy with our relationship moving forward." She then remembered that Cinn was also summoned and she heard him talking to someone with a feminine voice and he didn't sound happy in the slightest. "Mother,is there someone else here,Cinn seemed more chatty and annoyed than usual when I left to come here." Ethel had a good guess on what it was but she didn't want to say it outloud since she didn't want to make false accusations about her brother.

"Oh, that's just ebony...cinn's bethrothed. She's the youngest from the almand faimly and rather shy. Try not to scare her off." Octavia told her daughter standing up. She brushed off her dress. "It'll be dinner shortly...be sure to come, I know you work hard on those dresses but don't over work yourself sweetie."
 
Ethel's face lit up and she looked in her mother's eyes. "Really, wow mother I can't believe you managed to find someone for Cinn, this should be exciting at dinner." She blushed as red as her hair and eyes at what her mother said about the whole dress making thing and she nodded. "Yes mother,I'm almost done with the one I'm working on now,I should be able to sell it soon in the city so I should be downstairs for dinner tonight and I will make sure not to do anything dumb." The girl did a little bow/curtsy combination and she smoothed out the dress she was wearing,she had made it for her specifically and it was many people's favorite on her. "Well,if that is all then I shall take my leave unless you need me for anything else mother."

Well at least she wasn't a teenager and close to his own age. Hopefully she wasn't planning on marrying him now that she knew that was marrying Oliver Wren. But since they were stuck in this marriage, maybe she grow to like him as a person, though he had his doubts. The question about his favorite flower threw him. "Lillies," said Cinn. "Preferably Asian Lilies but any Lily will do." He turned and walked back into his room, setting the jar of bruise salve on the mantle over the fireplace. "Who exactly is your guard and why hasn't he followed us?" @mewbot5408
 
The two woke up from there nap not noticing the time. They quickly get up and fix their dresses and hair while running out downstairs to check on the dinner preparation. They checked the kitchen while makin sure the table was all ready. They let out a sigh of relief when seeing everything was running smoothly. "Goodness I thought we wouldn't make it and get a scolding..good thing everything is set.." She said yet felt like something was still missing.

She turned around and followed him a little before sitting down into a chair crossing her legs."Hmm...well, zero has been around as long as I remember actually....he's always been there..i guess he sees you as no threat? " she anwsered him with a hum. She brushed away some hazel hair away from her eyes.

"See you at dinner.." Octavia told her daughter and smiled. She sat back down seemingly happy with her answer. Octavia did some finishing touches on her appearance before going ahead to the dining hall to check on preparations.

Elias appeared suddenly from black mist in Ethel's room laying positioned on his stomach snoozing like a tired cat. The demon had a nack for dissappearing and reappearing at unusual times and oftentimes unexpectedly. He made a little hum rolling over to fall off the bed with a thud.

Cinn didn't reply as he disappeared through the door to his study, going towards a shelf and pulling off a bandage, severing it with his teeth. Setting it back on the shelf, he let frost cover the cloth before walking out. In his study were more bookshelves, some regular shelves lining the empty walls, an easel and a couch. A table was set up with a chessboard on it, two chairs on either side. He left his study, carrying the bandage back into his room and shut the door. That door was the only way in and out of his study unless one wanted to drop two stories to the ground below from the window.


Walking over to Ebony, he again took her bruised wrist and wrapped the bandage securely around it before letting go. "Well then, I guess I'm lucky," he said to himself, referring to her question about her escort not seeing him as a threat. "What idiot in your family thought marrying me was a good idea?" he asked, seating himself on his bed. @mewbot5408
 
The two were standing beside the wall while watching the maids place the table and keeping a close eye everywhere to make sure everything was ready. "I still feel like we are forgetting something sister.." Said faith in a discomforting way. "I agree sister..but what could it be..we have to figure it out before madam appears...I dislike being yelled at.." She spoke softly before the two walked around, checked the table, the kitchen, yet they couldn't find anything wrong.

Ebony nodded."Yeah..i guess so." She looked down at the bandages blushing with a smile at the small simple thing. She stood up and approached him slowly before leaning over giving him a small peck on the cheek. "Thanks." She said blushing and sat down looking away.
 
It seemed he wasn't going to get a straight answer on how or who had set her up in this farce of a marriage. His gaze followed her as she walked up to him and pecked him on the cheek before she went back to the chair and sat down again. "You're welcome," he said, mentally pushing down an unbidden memory. "I believe it's your turn for a question." @mewbot5408
 
"Also it was my parents and your mother...who decided this. That's how these things usually work....." Ebony told him with a sigh then tilted her head looking up with her violet eyes. She nodded. "Okay then....what's your favorite food and your least favorite?" She asked.

Not always arranged, thought Cinn. "Then I feel sorry that you got put into this situation," said Cinn before resorting to pondering the question. "Lamb Curry would probably be my favorite dish. Worst food would be anything with strawberries in it as I'm allergic to strawberries." He looked at the moon and sighed. "It's almost time for dinner. I'll...escort you down to the dining room." @mewbot5408
 
Ebony tilted her head to the side. "Hmm...I'm really fond of sweet stuff.."


She nodded and stood brushing out her black skirt gently. Ebony nodded with a light blush. "Okay.." She came to stand beside him.

Cinn stood and held out his arm for Ebony. "Think you can manage to walk down the stairs without falling?" he asked. "I'm the only one in my family who likes spicy food. Not big on sweet stuff but I like rice pudding." @mewbot5408
 
Ebony moved her arm with his with her other hand on his forearm properly but she was somehow close enough that her large chest brushed up against his arm. She blushed bright red. "I d-didn't mean to fall earlier......my boot heel got caught. " she told him looking away a little embarrassed at herself. She tilted her head looking up him. "Hmm...what if I said my blood was sweet....does that mean you wouldn't drink it?" She asked knowing that mates often would drink eachother's blood at times.

"Indeed," Cinn quipped before walking to the door and then opening it. "Unlikely. I find vampire blood to be more potent than wine and would be adverse to you trying to drink mine," he said. "Perhaps next time you could wear something that doesn't cause you to trip and fall." He lifted his free hand and coughed uncomfortably before stepping out into the hallway. Though he wasn't sure where she would be living now, but if they were destined to be married, then it was probable that his mother would insist Ebony stay with him. @mewbot5408

Ethel nodded and she left the room only to go back to her room and hearing something thud on the ground. She cautiously opened the door and closed it when she was inside. She walked over to the closest candle and lit it with her fire magic only to find Elias there, on the floor, sleeping. The girl shook her head and went back to making her dress only to finish in about five minutes since she didn't realize how close she was to being finished. She smiled at the finished product and she set it down to turn her attention back to a certain sleeping demon in her room.

She gave a small giggle and exhaled looking up at him with a sad smile. "I'm just teasing....there's no way in a you'd ever come to like me....I'm too shy,clumsy and a scardey cat... I'd probly end up burdening you. Plus, I'm not the prettiest girl either....sorry you had to be stuck with me." She said looking away as they walked together.

Elias remained passed out sleeping despite having fell off the bed with his hair sprawled out behind him and his head on his arm. He seemed peaceful and relaxed which was something he usually wasn't when awake. His breath was soft as he sat up slowly to lean back against the bed leg with a grunt opening his rather lightly luminous ruby colored eyes slowly. Elias yawned giving a small stretch at his sore limbs and returned the gaze to Ethel's. "...Ethel..I'm home..." He mumured.

Cinn lifted his free hand to pinch the bridge of his nose in exasperation with the girl at his side, still processing that this girl was his fiancee. "Shyness is an endearing trait in a proper lady," he said. Reaching the stairs, he began to walk down them, holding onto the banister with his free hand. "I don't tend to like chatty women so I think you are fine with the shyness," he commented. "Sadly we're both stuck in a situation neither of us planned or wanted apparently." At least I didn't, he thought to himself. "Unless one of us breaks the marriage, then there is nothing we can do about this. That doesn't seem an option at all." He considered her other comments, letting go of the banister to wave his hand in a dismissive manner. Being clumsy and a scaredy cat could be worked on. "Those other things can gradually be worked on but I don't see why you don't see yourself as pretty. You have rather unique eyes and hair." @mewbot5408

She walked over to where Elias was and sat on the bed so that she was above him. "Well, you could have come and seen me more often than you have been but I think I will forgive you because I know you are very busy." As she said this she changed her position so that she was laying on the bed with her head about a foot away from his. "But alas, I have dinner soon and as much as I don't want to go, mother asked me to because Cinn's betrothed will be with us but she asked me not to scare her because my personality is so out there and she's apparently shy and I'm too much for shy people now." She made a thinking face and she stared at Elias with a look in her eyes. "Did I scare you when you first met me?"

"I would've but I had my hands tied with my realm....I haven't even got a chance to rest until just now." He told her with a rather tired exhale. It was obvious he hasn't had much sleep or anything. Elias turned to face her looking up at her with his arms under his head his red gaze meeting Ethel's as he gave a light nod. " and does that mean I shall await for you here then? " he asked softly as he retained a sort of tenderness he only showed when he was around ethel. He despite being a demon and of both chaotic and mysterious nature usually wouldn't show this sort of side to others but Elias showed this softer side to his ethel. Upon hearing her ask if she scared him and he shook head and gave a smirk. "No...I'm not exactly shy nor am i scared of anything,if anything I thought you were beautiful and a little different from most girls."
 
Ethel smiled and she sat up again before standing on the floor and staying down at her boyfriend. "Well that would be a question for my mother but you can sleep in my bed if you want while we eat so you can sleep peacefully." The girl then sat next to Elias and looked up at him. "But do you want to have dinner with us, I can ask my mother if it would be okay." She snuggled closer to Elias and leaned into him, enjoying his company since he was gone for so long.
