Kain saw Leo trying to direct him at something and turned his face in the direction of the trapped person, seeing a kind of medieval knight trapped within a cage of energy. He knew what to do and jogged over to the ergokinetic cage and opened the Eye of Agamotto. But instead of revealing its all-seeing light, it was hollow with a black nothingness that replaced the middle of the amulet. The energy cage got absorbed into the Eye and released the knight.

"You okay there?"

The stillness of the area was loud; the weight of emotion and confrontation palpable from Akira as Jack looked over to HUNK, nodded once, and turned back to Akira in silence before holstering his SMG and lurching over toward his bisected DMR. Picking the destroyed weapon off the ground, he brought the two pieces together under his left arm and took his helmet off. The superhuman strength of Yamato’s punch to his abdomen had caused internal bleeding; evident by the stains of blood leaking from both nostrils and his mouth as he turned behind him to spit onto the floor. Lifting the watch to his mouth, he lightly audibly rasped as he spoke into the watch, his voice hoarse as a thin stream of blood came from his mouth. “Maverick One to Command, contact fled AO. Disengaging pursuit, moving to secure asset. Over out.”

The Knight had fallen to the ground, his hands and knees being the only things that held him up. He slowly lifts himself up to look at the lot, the sorcerer looking down at him. He doesn't answer the question asked by Kain, instead he stands looking at the lot. "I'd give my thanks, but we don't have time. I've come to the realization that we share a common enemy, and we....must assist one another to destroy him. Your masters, bring me to them-"
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!

Without any warning, a portal opened, and a powerful electric shock came swooping in, colliding into the Knight with extreme prejudice. The warrior fell onto the ground, confulsing, Cugai walking into the Astral Plane, his hand flickering. He looms over the knight before shocking him again, the man screaming as he did so.

"You're not getting away. Not after what you put us through." Cugai said. "Good job, agents. Let's head back, and see what we can get out of him, and get you all patched up."

Cugai turned around, walking through the portal, expecting one of the others to bring the Knight with them.

Konahrik simply sat down on the rock floating in space. He kept this posture when Yamato had came through. His head slowly lifting, he stands and unsheathes his sword. The bottom portion of his robes fall, showing his golden scaled armor, his robe opening to show more of it underneath. He then turns slowly to Yamato.

"You...have doomed us."

We're reaching the endgame, fellas!

Another passage was unlocked!!!
How long has it been?

Days? Weeks? Years, even? The Dragonborn had been lost within the deep, dark burrow that he had been using as his home. He sat under a small crack, the sun shining onto the pathetic creature like it was pointing at him, laughing.

He kept his gaze into the light, his responsive body not giving a single jolt as the sun moved the light. He still sat in a mere loincloth, the coldness of the cave did nothing to him, in fact he couldn’t feel anything at all…

In hand was the same golden mask. He paid no mind to it anymore, all he did was sit there and wait for death to come. It never did, however. It was almost as if a deeper will had kept him from dropping dead a long time ago. Perhaps it was a sign that being the Dovahkin was a curse. Or maybe it was something far greater.

The Dragonborn couldn’t remember what his life was like before this. His mind grew empty from the solitude he had taken, even forgetting his own name. Often when one spends too much time with themselves, all they can do is think. He just kept thinking to himself until his thoughts could no longer be seen as his own.

Then, one day, he began to hear that voice again. The mask. It was the mask speaking to him.

“Look at you.” It would say. “A sad, pathetic waste of flesh, sulking within the darkness.” It was cruel to him, every day it talked to him as if it was his own personal demon. “Look at how they abandoned you. Left you to rot after you slayed Alduin.”

It kept going. On and on, the voice speaks these horrible things into his ear. As time passed, however, it seemed to slowly speak in a more comforting tune.

“They never cared about you. They only cared about how you made things so easy. You overstay your welcome, and they cheer when you’re finally slain. Then they cry to be saved when something else comes to destroy them, only to realize that they let the one thing saving them die. All heroes suffer that fate.”

Its voice grew softer. “You, however, can become something greater. You have been chosen to uphold the power of Dragons. You are a god amongst mere men and murr. If we gain more of it, we can end all wars. We can not only bring peace to Skyrim, but all of Nirn. An end to Heroes by ending it all. Take hold of your new face. You are the Dovahkin. You are powerful. You are….Konahrik.”

With that, the light was shown to reveal something the Dovahkin had neglected to see. An ancient forge. From there, he knew what to do. Forging a powerful armor that would show the world his magnificence. It will serve as a symbol of true peace, and will eradicate anyone or anything to gain it.
Thus, the mask was no longer carried in hand. Instead, it was perched on the very face of the once proud hero of Skyrim. The old Dragonborn was gone. It was time for Konahrik to bring all of Skyrim together in blood and fire.

Both Leo and HUNK raised their weapons as the lightning lashed the knight. Only HUNK lowered his upon seeing it had come from Cugai. His mission was complete, and in the agent’s eyes, it was fitting retribution for the past day’s fiasco.

Leo, however, snarled at the sudden violence. “Was that necessary!? He was volunteering to join us! Cease this!” he rebuked the administrator before coming to the knight’s aid. The king crouched beside the incapacitated man.

Lara emerged from the changing station after several minutes, clad in a black variant of her previous outfit. The two-toned pistols still rested at her sides, the shotgun slung across her back. “I need to speak with someone in charge,” she announced, taking her place beside the drawers full of ashes.

“And it’ll end the same way,” Balalaika answered Pepperjack as she entered the armory. All the weapons on the walls soothed her nerves. “I always feel like I want a shopping cart when I come in here…” She then turned to Fugai and the Doom Slayer. “Come to think of it, we should issue a watch to our friend here. Think of it: being able to pull an entire arsenal out of nowhere. Subspace storage makes war fun.”

And here he thought everyone would've had that ability here, but nope. He loved killing anything, even something that looked the slightest of demonic. Any and most weapons usually worked, but 21st century weapons he had started with.
He agreed by nodding at Balalaika, War was always fun. Especially when you had more than two to three weapons to choose from.
War was only not fun when humans or humanity suffered greatly, and lose many lives.
"A watch?" VEGA asked, somewhat confused by the prior remark.

The Knight lay still, but he was conscious. He slowly tries to lift himself up as Cugai looks back. "Join?...Hmm....Pick him up, he's got a lot of questions to answer." Cugai kept walking forward.

Fugai stepped forward, a small watch forming onto Doomguy's wrist. "We use these watches as a means to communicate with each other, and with CiMos, our super computer. What Balalaika spoke of was the Subspace Storage Pocket. It's this cool pocket dimension that allows you to carry a multitude of items with you without over encumbering yourself."

With that said, Cugai walked out of the portal, looking at the four with angry eyes. "We got him."

I hope you're ready for the grand finale!

U.C.A. WATCHTOWER
Some time had passed, the agents were gathered within the top floor of the watchtower under the orders of the remaining administrators. The Knight sat on the chair in front of the lot, his arms had been handcuffed, and his body chained to his chair. The Knight looked up at the others with a dead look in his face. He had agreed to come to the base, yes, but with the trouble he's caused, the Administrators weren't going to risk anything happening to him. Cugai, Fugai, and Pepperjack walked into the room, sitting at the seats near the Knight. Pepperjack threw something on the table, it let out a loud metal clank as it landed.

"You dropped this." Pepperjack said.

It was the Knight's helmet. He didn't touch it, though, simply looking at the three men as they gazed at him.

"So..." Cugai began. "Care to paint us the bigger picture? Because I'm guessing with how much you've thrown us into a cat-and-mouse chase that you'd at least have something on our "common enemy" that you're so desperately hiding."

The Knight said nothing. Looking down, he tried to find the words he'd say, but Cugai spoke up again.

"Who are you?....What do you have to do with any of this?"

The Knight was quiet, but he spoke up with his usual aged voice. "I....I was once known as Gloucester Owain. I was once apart of an order of black knights...That is all I can remember of my life before my world had fallen into-"

"Konahrik." Pepperjack interrupted. "You. Him. We didn't ask for your life story."

The knight growled under his breath. "If you wish to know how I fit into all this, then you must hear my story."

Fugai looked over to his brother. "Well, I don't see the harm."

Cugai looked over to the others, before looking back to the Knight, nodding.

WARLORD
4-4
I come from a dead world...one that was ravaged by a god's desire to continue the rule of gods. To continue this, they sent souls of damned men to rekindle a powerful flame, and become Lord Of Cinder. I was one of many who were chosen, but I was too weak to control it.....and thus died....not for long, unfortunately. When the sound of the Beckoning Bell was rung across the lands, I was awakened from death, and forced to reunite the souls of those before me. I was called The Ashen One.

I battled through horrid beasts, undead men, and twisted monsters of men and women alike. I died. Again, and again, and again...every time I did, I would always come back. Every time, I'd hope I'd die and remain that way.....but I wasn't shown such mercy. Instead, I was forced to endure until I grew powerful enough to reach the last entity.

There was....something else that had happened that made me begin to question my place....one man's words echoing in my head, telling me that it was all for nothing. That rekindling the flame was meaningless....To let it fade...to nothing. I didn't heed it's words until I began to understand....My world had twisted into something it never should of. Forced into some grotesque monstrosity, never allowed to change. Never allowed to heal.

So, when I defeated my last foe, I had asked the Firekeeper to come and snuff the flame, and once done, the world grew dark. I stayed with her in the darkness. I begged, pleaded to myself, praying that what I did would of healed my world. That even once I die, that it will return from the hell it has been through. I awoke to the sun beaming over my face.....I wasn't in my world...not anymore.

It was familiar, yet not. There were normal people...with some exceptions. Normal homes. Not everything trying to kill me at every given turn...I thought I was in heaven. "Skyrim" they called it. I didn't know how I got there...I still don't know how I got there. One thing was for sure...The paradise I was in didn't last long.

The town I settled in was attacked. Set ablaze by a powerful force who was on a warpath. Konahrik.

From then, I knew. My agony wasn't over. Even when I come to another universe, I'm forced to do the bidding of some kind of outside force. I traveled all across Skyrim, reaching the tallest peak in the land where I find him battling many he once called allies, trying to conquer some temple within the mountain. From there, we begun our duel. Our blades collided, our bodies pushed to the brink of hell and back just to destroy each other. Our battle felt that it would go on for eternity....Or so I thought....

High Hrothgar,
Skyrim
The raging blizzard that surrounded the mountain didn't slow, it's powerful winds surrounded the peak like an aura that kept something within. The snow was stained in blood, footprints and markings on the rocks foretold that a great battle had commenced. A battle that raged on between two warriors. Indeed, Konahrik and the Knight stood before one another, both exhausted from a lengthy battle between the two.
Moonlight_Greatsword__28DSIII_29.png
Within the Knight's arms, a large sword, different from his broadsword, was pointed toward Konahrik, it's entire blade glowing with a turquoise light. Neither warrior were going to step down. In a battle to the death, one must fall. Despite that, both were still standing, bleeding and hurt, and determined to kill the other. The knight held back the blade, ready to swing it toward the Dovahkin, who's chest puffed up.

"Fus..." Konahrik gripped his hands as he throws his body forward. "RO DAH!"

At the same moment the powerful gust came hurling toward Konahrik's opponent, the Knight swung his sword, a powerful wave of magic energy flew right toward Konahrik. Between them, the energy collides into the force of wind, causing it to warp and disperse around it. BOOM! Between them, a large explosion that flashes brighter than any light. Both warriors are fling away from the center, the Knight crashing into a rock behind him, Konahrik into the snow. The Knight slowly stood, trying to gain his balance as his vision adjusted itself.

The moment he came to, however, a large mass tackled him, and they both found themselves on a freefall from the mountain. The two fell quickly toward the side of the mountain, Konahrik holding the Knight before him like a shield. The Knight expected for his spine to explode on impact, only to hear an unearthly sound as both warriors smash through reality, and fall onto a floating rock. Both warriors lay on the rock, confused as to what transpired. it was night time, or at least it looked like it. They could see stars, many of them....and they were purple.

Konahrik was the first to stand, looking around at the place. "What is this?....Where are we?!" Konahrik looked at the purple things floating. They orbited a giant crystal, as if it were the sun. The Knight stood soon after to look at it's magnificence. He then looked forward, and down below the rock. Giant red crystals were floating near. Unorganized, ugly, and hopeless. As Konahrik walked forward, he felt his foot kick something, and the sound of sliding glass was herd. He looked to see a crystal, hand sized and glowing, on the ground. He picks it up, and examines it.

"Such power....Do you know of this?" Konahrik asked the Knight.

The Knight didn't respond, simply looking over to Konahrik. Konahrik looked over, seeing one of the red universes lose it's color. It then falls into the black misty bottom of space, witnessing it become nothing. The orc then looked up to see greyed shards floating by. He looks closer in them, seeing a figure within, in an almost frozen, dead like state. As it floated by, it began to flash the same purple color. Konahrik looked down to the crystal.

It started flickering, as if it was reacting to the dead crystal before it. Konahrik lifts his arm up to the greyed crystals, his own began flickering with it. As he did, for a mere moment, it began glowing purple, from the outside, though. Then, the figure present within the crystals began flickering in and out of his prison. Over and over, until he manages to get the figure out, now floating before him and the knight. It was a man, a spikey haircut, a strange set of grey and red clothes that were ripped and torn. His chest had a large, burnt hole in it.

The man weakly looked at the two, giving almost no response. Konahrik looked down at the crystal, and held it out again. The energy surrounded the man, and it seemed to slowly heal him. Once he seemed in a better shape, Konahrik lowered the crystal and watched as the man landed in front of him.

"Where am I?..." He asked. "Is this hell?...."

"I cannot answer that question....What I can tell you is that me and....him....are lost out here as well. I am Konahrik...You're name is?"

"....Goret." The man said, standing. "I WAS in the middle of trying to destroy a parallel universe, but I ended up getting beat by....let's say some shmucks who think they're changing the world."

"Universe?" Konahrik asked.

"I don't know, it's too complicated to bother."

"....What if I can help you destroy more universes?" Konahrik asked.

"...Why?...How?" Goret asked.

"This crystal...it has some kind of connection with these....things....I just need to see what else it can do. If you come with me, we can pillage, murder, destroy all that you want."

"....Well....I do like destroying things.....Will we stop to eat?" Goret asked.

"....Fine." Konahrik said.

"Sweet." Goret said. "...First, we need to get me some new clothes..."

Konahrik looked back at the crystal, holding it forward. He began to think about something, an island with lush forests and trees. Then, without picking anything specific, it opens. The warlord walked through the portal, Goret and the Knight following behind.

U.C.A Watchtower
"I followed him as he traveled across the Multiverse, learning about the different ways every world turned out. I asked if I could find my Universe....Whenever that happened, I always found universes similar to my own, but...it was someone else cursed to follow the same path as I did." The Knight looked up at the others. "Him mastering the power of that crystal is how we learned of all of you. How he learned of the Dark Multiverse...."

"....So" Pepperjack started. "We're all here-"

"Konahrik is in great pain...." The Knight spoke. "...but he is too far gone to be saved. It's because of him that we're even having this conversation-"

"No, we're all here BECAUSE OF YOOOOUU!!!!!" Fugai screamed the loudest that anyone has ever heard, his body morphing into a longer shape, his eyes glowing red with anger, his voice fuming with venom. "We've been having trouble....because of you."

"Fugai...." Cugai said.

Silence grew between the two, and Fugai reverted back to his usual size. He then turns and walks toward the doors.

"Fugai, wait!" Cugai called to his brother.

Fugai didn't listen, he just kept walking away. "I can't do this without you...."

The Knight looked at Cugai. "I...there's something I can do that can bring Konahrik out....If you free me from these chains, and let me assist. Please....I cannot let other worlds suffer as mine did."

Cugai huffed a sigh. Looking up at him. "If you promise me you can bring us to our target, then I will...I will even make it sweeter. Help us bring Konahrik in alive and I'll have CiMos show you what happened to your universe. Deal?"

The Knight didn't know who that is, but with what choices he had, and how desperate he wanted to know the end result of his world, he nodded. "Deal."

Cugai turned to Balalaika. "Get the dresser."

Akira had said nothing when she returned to base. She blew past Marie and the other agents, locking herself in her quarters. She was all but exhausted, stripping herself of her armor and clothing before falling onto her bed. The cool sheets and filtered air cooled her body, which felt as if it was on fire. Everything all around her was moving so fast. The only thing that kept running through her mind was her brother.

Yamato had not only survived their world being destroyed, but he was working for their main enemy.
She still couldn't believe it. They hadn't spoken to each other in years, not since the invasion had been suppressed and Neuron disbanded. She couldn't remember his last words to her either. But today, he had reminded her all too well just how dangerous he was.

Next time, she would be ready. Wherever or whenever Yamato chose to show his face again.

With a wave of her hand, two of Balalaika’s men hefted to the dresser, bringing it closer to the table. “I can’t guarantee Hotel Moscow leave this poor son of a bitch in one piece,” she stated, being painfully honest and alluding to the popular mob tactic of severing fingers. “Just capture him before I do.”

Lara moved in to open the drawers. “I think these were the relics Konahrik sent me after, under false pretenses,” she guessed. “Why would he want these, unless he’s traveling to your world or some variant of it?” She gestured to the knight, indicating he would know the answer best.

Leo hovered close to the knight. After the stunt Cugai had pulled, the king’s trust had been violated, as the action was harsh and uninformed. On the other hand, he couldn’t let that debacle cloud his judgment. He and the UCA needed each other, as was the case with every agent and ally.

HUNK merely let out a groan under his breath. They wanted Konahrik alive? While he preferred his universe-destroying masterminds well-done, it wasn’t his place to question an order.

Storm had entered following her medical treatment and rest. She shook her head at Fugai. “While I agree evading us caused a headache, I can’t blame our new ally. He had his mission, and we did not exactly look like the Peace Corps when he encountered us.”

Lucia remained silent as she listened to the meeting taking place. This whole ordeal seemed like something Dante would’ve handled better… but she was here now. She had to be a good substitute. That, and she wanted to finish this mission so she could return Agni and Rudra. She could hear the two gabbing about some TV show, their voices muffled by her jacket from the previous phase so the meeting could continue normally.

With all said and done, Cugai grabs onto the Knight’s restraints, the handcuffs falling off like they were shedded fur, the chains clanking onto the floor.

“I’m…sorry for the excessive force, I didn’t figure you were really on our side. I just wanna stop this guy before he does something real bad.”

The knight stood before Cugai, looking at the admin with the same dead expression as before. He reaches for his helmet and slides it on his head. “You and me, both.” He walks over to see what Lara spoke of, and he knew what he looked at.

“These are ashes. Old Lords Of Cinder. He was trying to stop me from linking a new flame. Within the dead worlds he has traveled, I placed bonfires within them. If I link the flame, I become Lord Of Cinder, and all those worlds will become one. Thing is, he’s not yet found the right worlds to use. We do this, we execute a plan that hasn’t been completed.”

He turns to the others, pulling out a Homeward Bone. “I need an escort. To bring these ashes, and see to it that I link the flame without interruption.”

Cugai nodded, looking to Kain. “Take Kain. If you can take him to where you’re going, he can make a portal back to us…can you?”

Konahrik loomed over Yamato, having gathered Smaug back with him. His mask hid away the face of an angered orc.

“You must understand, if we’re going to fulfill our mission, we cannot show sympathy for the enemy. Even if the enemy was once close to you. Every moment you hold back, EVERY TIME you want to be saved, you slow us down. I do not want to see you pull that stunt again. If you do, I’m plunging my blade strait down your throat.”

The watch was enveloped in a beautiful gold-tinted light, before disappearing from the surface of the Slayer's armour. "The watch has been binded to the interface of the suit, Slayer." VEGA remarked, as the Slayer then exited the room hearing a shout or yell from where he had been summoned.
He raced there quickly, only to find a few strange others and a strange knight.
Now this man knew what demonism felt like. An overloading sense of darkness that would spread to certain parts of the brain and force the host to give in. He had been there quite a few times before. But this man, this...undead, he radiated something different. It could be almost compared to having the powers of resurrection, but slightly different.
To everyone that wasn't so...built-up, the Slayer would just appear as if he were some sort of really buff but short supersoldier.
"I apologize for our intrusion, but the Doom Slayer could be of assistance here." VEGA told everyone, speaking for the Slayer. "The Slayer could provide defensive and offensive capabilities to complete your mission, and his flawless ways would be more than enough to help."

Without another word, he turned and made his way through the open portal. Stepping through to the central lobby of the UCA headquarters, Jackson strode toward the medbay; the heated exchange between the captured asset and Cugai a low drone as he went down the hall, stepping in the doorframe and giving a small nod to Hailey as he made his way inside. The woman in question was down to a set of dark grey cargo pants and a grey UNSC short-sleeve shirt; her skin matching the bone-white walls of the room set against sharp blue eyes and jet black hair. Putting the tablet down, she turned her attention to the wounded Spartan and nodded toward one of the open beds on the farther side of the room; Felix occupying the one closest to the door with Ellie at his side, dressed in similar UNSC fatigues. Felix looked up, sighing as the look of disapproval was evident on his face. "What was that."

Jack sighed, the crimson from his nose and mouth having already coagulated into crusted patches. "I wasn't going to-"

"-Reckless. Stupid. Irresponsible." Ellie interjected on Felix's question as she maintained direct eye contact with Jackson. "We could've lost you from that stunt you pulled. Fuck, I could understand it slightly more if you were a Headhunter, but you're not. You're Team Leader, boss. We're your team- we'd follow you into hell, even at our worst. I know protocol doesn't apply here, but it's common fucking sense. That asshole could have killed you if Akira didn't intervene, and the only reason she did was that he's her brother. Don't get involved in others' affairs, and don't get them involved with us. We need to look out for each other, Jack."

Jack waited, lips pursed as he exhaled through his nose. "This situation is bigger than us, Ellie. We do what needs to be done, whatever the cost. We protect Humanity, whatever the cost. HUNK wasn't going to be able to hold his own against Yamato and that mechanized exosuit of his. The man has the strength to rival a Two, and that was without his armored platform- he would've killed the operative, transported the asset to Konahrik, and it would've been over. For all of us. I didn't come that far to fail, and neither did HUNK. We had to do something."

"-Yes, however you could have taken Ellie with you." Felix retorted, prompting Jack to angle his head over toward the bedbound man.

"I'm not losing another Spartan, Felix-"

"Bloody hell, now you're sounding like Ambrose!"

"Outside, not here. One, a moment." Hailey interrupted loud enough to be heard over the two. Jackson silently egressed into the room; standing by the wall as Ellie helped Felix up off the bed and out the door, accompanying him to the barracks. Once out of earshot, Hailey turned around from prepping the necessary medical equipment on the counter to look at Jack with an expression he couldn't quite pin down As she spoke, her voice carried a strangely amused sternness as the only inflection of concern withered away into her baseline tone near the end of her statement. "That was about as foolish as trying to solo a Chieftain. Off the record, we would've done the same- it just hits different when we're the ones having to watch from the sidelines. All I'll say about it. Change into fatigues so I can get an eval, and relax for a bit. Doctor's orders."

Jack nodded, rubbing the back of his head as he did an about-face toward the door and strode out toward the room containing the 'stripping station' as Felix had so eloquently named it. The octagonal ring built around the podium was lined with mechanical arms of various shapes and sizes, the box of the machine connected to a generator adjacent to the other side of the room itself. As soon as Jackson stepped in the footholds and held his arms out to the sides of the cufflinks, the machine activated and locked his wrists and ankles into place with a firm grip; the ring rotating his body on an axis as the arms methodically disassembled his armor around him as pieces fell to the floor, only to be picked up and placed off to the side by additional steel arms. He didn't dare attempt to visit Akira after this- he couldn't imagine a family member fighting for the enemy- a fate worse than death he couldn't possibly relate to.

Within a few minutes, it was over. The armor lay off to the side of the machine as he stepped out of the hold the machine had put him in. The sensation of air against his bodyglove was alien, causing him to reflexively tense from the feeling of exposure as he made his way over to the curtain to change into fatigues. Once done, Jackson headed out of the room and down the hall back to medical. He didn't know how long he had to rest, but he wasn't going to complain.

Kain was calmly monitoring the conversation and, to be honest, he didn't agree with Cugai's sudden aggression, but he understood his anxiety. Right now, Konahrik is the most serious threat to the Multiverse, and we couldn't afford to have another problem on our hands. He nodded in accord with what Cugai said when he was referenced by Cugai. Because his powers are intertwined with the Multiverse, he was able to create portals everywhere in it.

"Yeah I can, I don't mind accompanying you. This linking of the flame does sound interesting"

He didn't want to miss out on experiencing and traveling to other realms. But another person or thing spoke up he saw it was some AI that always followed the huge brawly guy that looked like he could rip everyone's head off. They radiated power but not the kind with Goret, something...different, he couldn't put his finger on it. But nevertheless, he welcomed them.

"And the Slayer can come as well, we'll need backup in case something happens"

The Knight stepped between Doom Slayer and Kain, a homeward bone grasped in his hand. If he managed to bring another with him, then hopefully it will work for two. He places his arms on both men. "This won't take long."

Holding the bone to his head, all three men were ingulfed with a surrounding storm of ash, before vanishing. The three men then found themselves in the middle of a deserted world, standing on top of a mountain. The Knight turned, looking at the bonfire that flickered behind them. He turned to Kain. "We're here. Send a portal to your allies. They must bring the ashes here."

When Kain grabbed onto the Knight's shoulder he was soon engulfed in ashes and transported to another world, he looked around the desert and turning behind him, he saw a bonfire flickering in the wind. He turned to the Knight and nodded, using his sling rin he conjured a portal that lead to the others where they were.

The Slayer braced himself, cocking his shotgun to be ready for whatever was on the other side. The ash dissipated in mere moments, allowing the Slayer to see beyond the mountain he now stood atop. The view was ghastly, revealing a barren deserted world.
"What exactly happened here?" VEGA's voice asked, curious of this planet's past.
Slayer swung his shotgun around, making sure to check the area was safe for them and the others soon to be there. Once deemed safe, he returned to the two.

As if CiMos had listened to VEGA, a long span of information was sent to the AI, proclaiming that the world they stand in was wiped out by a grand war between humans and some kind of crab people, who were awakened by a nuclear warhead. The wasteland was all that remained, as humanity turned on itself the very last minute.

From Kain's portal, Terra, Bio Spark, and Eight all came walking in, carrying the dresser with them.

A smidge of time passes, and all the remains of the five Lords Of Cinder were placed around the bonfire, the Knight grabbing the coiled swords hilt as the others gathered around him. The Knight looked back to see who all else was there. "Are we prepared?..."

While Konahrik was arguing with Yamato, Smaug was laying down on a rock, the Australium he stole next to him.
“So.. Knight.. I have a question.. Who is that bastard in red who brought this treasure I stole..”

With a deep breath, The Knight turns to the bonfire, and falls to his knees. He stays in silence for a bit, before his voice escapes his helmet. "Noble...Lords Of Cinder....I have come to except my fate....and rekindle the burning light of flame..."

As the Knight spoke, the bonfire flickered, as did the remains, that suddenly began to light ablaze. The Knight squeezed the coiled sword as if it was going to kill him if he let go. "Release your thrones once more....give the flame to the true heir."

With the words spoken, five flickering flames began to slowly fly toward the Knight. The Knight stood as all of the flames fazed into his person, his entire body lighting on fire. The flame began to burn, a flame overwhelming the man, any agents near had to back away. Then, as quickly as it started, the flame began to die down. The Knight then stood away from the flame, the palm of his right hand was glowing. He clenches his fist, and his entire body becomes covered with glowing patches of flame.

EMBER RESTORED
As this happened, the entire terrane had seemed to have changed. The once dead wasteland was now occupied by a large, horseshoe shaped cliffside, an entire ocean spanning past it. Upon further inspection, one can see a large medieval tower, standing above a one story building. Within the tower, Konahrik can be seen, looking around in a panic.

"He's down there. Follow me." The Knight ran down a path that lead to a steeper portion of the cliffs, a path to the tower at the end. One thing the Knight didn't take note of, was the fact that there were far more then just Konahrik, Yamato, and Smaug there. On the lower parts of the mountain, thousands of undead draugr were walking up the path, weapons at the ready to kill anything in their path. To make matters worse, within the oceans, a large fog formed, and something massive was walking toward their direction.

Konahrik looked at Smaug with confusion, but looked back down. "A U.C.A ally. He will die with the rest." He steps over to Yamato, walking behind him with his sword drawn. "Now, keep this in your head. Your sister is the enemy. If she is the enemy, then she must be dealt with. If I keep having to tell you to let go of your sympathy, I will use my own blade to remove the part of your brain that keeps making you think so! Understa-"

A loud crackling sound could be heard. Around the three, a bright flash of light overwhelmed them, and without any warning, they were no longer floating in space, and instead, were standing inside of a tall, empty tower above a shore. Konahrik runs over to the large frame, seeing that the universe had been combined, and his army of Draugr were aimlessly marching forward.

"No....No NO NO!" Konahrik turned to Yamato. "IDIOT! Do you see what he has done!?" Konahrik stepped over to Yamato, throwing his arm into the air to swing his blade down at him, only for the sound of large stomping to seize him. Konahrik looked at the distant, yet close fog, the large being walking toward their location.

The Slayer was in a state of shock and amazement, the world suddenly lush again. He hadn't seen this much green since long before the very first Demonic Invasion of Earth.
"Be aware, I detect incoming hostile forces. The Slayer will handle them and slow them down." VEGA spoke to everyone, the Slayer switching his Combat shotgun for his Double barrel. The Slayer knew how this was going to end for whatever was dumb enough to start approaching the group, some of the most powerful or randomly chosen people in the distance. The Slayer sprinted in the wake of the Knight's path, only shortly behind.
Well, The enemies can all go to hell.
Using his dash ability and his double-jump, he was able to fly off and away from the slope, resulting in Slayer gaining a speed and somewhat of a flight advantage. He shot the Knight and the others a thumbs-up as he shot towards the lower portion of the mountain, ready for bloodshed.

Lara emerged in the abandoned world to watch the spectacle of the barren world returning to life. Following her initial shock, she looked inward towards the tower, practically making eye contact with Konahrik. The tomb Raider eased down her sunglasses, giving him a look that said, ‘Now you fucked up.’ She sprinted after the knight, shotgun at the ready, fully prepared to face resistance.

Both the victory and the rest reinvigorated Leo. The king prepared his flame sword for the mission before proceeding. “This land… is not quite what I expected,” he confessed while on the move. “When I think of where a villain would make his lair, I imagine someplace more magical, like Darminor. Aside from the tower and what transpired mere seconds ago, this seems familiar and mundane.”

Lucia was not far behind Leo. “This is a pleasant change, then—for you and for me. No gates to a demon world, no demons running amok.”

“In case you couldn’t tell—“ “she fights a lot of demons,” Agni and Rudra added in tandem.

Storm rose into the air to observe the new world. The mist shrouded the area, making it difficult to see. “Fog is a great way to hide surprises. It’s too bad we dislike Konahrik’s surprises,” she monologued. Exercising her mastery over the weather, she willed all fog and cloud cover to thin and dissipate so her fellow agents could clearly see the path ahead.

From her seat with the admin team, Balalaika enjoyed another cigar. “Once we get a clear visual, we can send a second team to help them mop up. I’ll be assigning bomb carriers to level Konahrik’s base of operations… preferably some of our agents.”

For the first time in a while, HUNK drew the pulse rifle from his watch and checked the magazines. He was ready to finish his ultimate objective. “By ‘some of our agents’, you mean us, ma’am.” He gestured to himself and Aeon, who seemed to be over their altercation in the tomb.

“Hm… Partially correct. I think you should have a demolitions expert, as well. In fact… Doesn’t Fireteam Maverick have one?”

“He’s still in the medbay,” Aeon retorted before holding up one of the spider bombs with a smirk. “Either way, we’re prepared.”

Kain was prepared for this, everything he learned and done will be tested today. The fate of the Multiverse depends on them, and Kain was prepared to hurl every spell he could at Konahrik. Looking at the Slayer as he gave a thumbs up and walked a bit further down, Kain thought he must be ecstatic about the battle, and he wasn't wrong, we had been waiting for this moment for a long while. He would then look around his surroundings, seeing how it turned from a wasteland to bright greenery, it was a sight to see, and he wondered if that may be due to Konahrik's involvement that the fertile land lost its vitality. Probably so, he didn't know what Konahrik was capable of but if he was a threat to the Multiverse, he shouldn't underestimate them nor overestimate them. That could spell the end of him. Turning to Leo, he was curious to know about Konahrik so he asked,

"Hey Leo, you know anything about Konahrik or what he can do?"

While Storm worked on clearing the fog, Leo stroked his chin, considering what he knew about his enemy. “Despite his involvement, I never had the chance to confront him.”

Storm called down to Kain, “I can tell you more!” She lowered a few feet in altitude so she could speak at a normal volume. “I fought Konahrik the first day he challenged us. He held his own against me; he is an expert in close combat and seems to have abilities related to his voice. Worse, he stole the power of our Genesis Jars, so almost anything is possible.”

The merging of the universe had caused CiMos to go crazy. Cugai and Pepperjack watched the monitors, the first wave of enemies were marching as the Agents made their way. Cugai folded his arms. "Draugr. All they have are swords and arrows."

"There's thousands of em, boss." Pepperjack replied. "If they get exhausted killin them all, who's gonna nab the big bad?"

"We got backup on speed dial." Cugai said. "Balalaika has an army on her back, and...well, the others might of bailed out, but I'm confident that our agents can-"

With Storm disbanding the mist, the giant was becoming more clear. Charcoal black skin, and a back covered with dorsal plates. It's mouth steamed with fury as it's body fumed with it's own mist, crimson red in color. The beast marched closer, it's massive, 100 meter body not to far from the cliffside. The Draugr payed it no mind, more focused on the enemy in front. A group of them charging toward the Knight, who swung his sword at one, ramming his sheild at another.

Another group pointed their bows and arrows and the Doom Slayer, firing multiple shots as the demon killer flew in the sky.

Konahrik gazed up at the agents, throwing his head up he takes a deep breath. "Fus.....RO DAH!" With a shout, the top of the tower is destroyed, leaving only a platform. He turns to Yamato and Smaug, pointing up at the enemy. "GET THEM!"

Cugai leaned forward, looking closer at the monitor. His eyes widened in fear. "No......goddamn....way....." The beast came into full view in the moniter, his hand slowly slipping onto a large red button. "It's...."
