I’ll try to be as clear as I can.
The current area where the phase is taking place is a large desert that is a combination of dead universes.
Key areas were a mall, a forest, a lake, and a tomb. Every area, save for the mall, the lake, and outside the tomb, are barren.
Konahrik is at the mall, two agents and one other bad guy have crossed a portal outside the tomb to battle a new villain who’s holding an important figure hostage.
The lake has two others as well, but they are trying to head to the location of the enemy.
HQ is completely outside of the multiverse, floating in space, where most of the others are.
Clear enough?
