Sleepless Trainwreck
Twyg's Partner Search
- About Me
-
Heyo! Twyg here! (celebrating my first successful coded post XD) Before I get to writing about what I'm looking for, I guess I'll just tell you a little bit about myself. I'm seventeen years old, nearing eighteen rather quickly. I am a senior in high school, and I do online schooling. But that doesn't mean I'll be on all the time. Actually, there are many times that I may be able to reply only once a day, or maybe once every two days. Other times, though, I may be able to do more, if I'm not as busy.
As for my roleplay style, I can go from casual to more detailed (about one to four paragraphs) It depends on how much mental energy I'm able to put into my replies, as well as how much my partner has written for their last reply. I usually tend to stay pretty close to them.
My genre preferences usually stay within a more realistic/modern category, though action and adventure does have quite the tendency to really get to me. I just really suck with fandoms, fantasy, medieval, sometimes futuristic, etc., so I won't really do those. I'm definitely a HUGE sucker for romance, though, and I actually tend to become uninterested in the roleplay without at least a little element of romance in it. It doesn't have to be solely romance, though. I prefer MxF, but I will do FxF. With MxF, I have no preference as to which gender I play, though I do have a lot more experience playing males. - What I'm looking for
-
I'm actually quite a laid back roleplayer. All I really ask is you put at least some effort into your replies. I'd say I only require a minimum of five sentences with good spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc. I need to be able to understand your reply. You're more than welcome to deal out a much longer response, too, if you so desire. Another thing I'm looking for along the lines of responses is third person narrative, though I don't care if it's past or present tense.
I also require at least a simple character sheet that contains at least one picture of your character (realistic face claims, please, meaning pictures of real people) their name, age, and a brief personality description. I am also just as happy with a much more detailed character sheet, because I have access to both detailed and simple sheets for my characters.
Lastly, I'm searching for someone who will help me drive the plot forward. I love discussing things OOC that we could possibly do in the roleplay. I want good plot and character development, because roleplays just aren't as interesting without it. I like developing relationships between characters, whether they had just met, or they've known each other for ages. I just love seeing where the flow takes things. - Pairings

I'll write a few detailed plots in these tabs, if you'd like to look through these. I just thought that having each plot in an individual tab would be a lot less crowded. So, on with the plots.
Muse A and Muse B had been good friends for a couple years, ever since Muse A moved into the neighborhood. Though they got along well, Muse B noticed that there was something off about Muse A. Muse B had caught Muse A, on many occasions, doing something that normal humans usually wouldn't be able to do, such as amazingly fast reflexes, hearing or seeing things that no one else could, but were later proven to be real, and many other things like that. Though, Muse A never told anyone about their abilities, and didn't even realize that the observant Muse B noticed their abilities.
One day, as the two muses are hanging out, Muse A seems much more tense than usual. In fact, when their phone rings, as normally as ever, they jump and disappear around the corner to answer the phone. Worried about their friend, Muse B listens in on the conversation, and what they hear makes their blood run chill... "They have my brother, and now they're coming for me."
That was the last straw, and Muse B demands an explanation. After some persuasion, Muse A gives in and explains that they and their brother are rogue science experiments, and they moved into the town, believing that they were finally safe. Well, that is, until Muse A's brother was abducted by the ones that had experimented on them.
Determined to keep their friend safe, Muse B insists on helping them find their brother and get away from these people, despite the dangers Muse A warns them of. Now, with Muse B fully immersed in all of this, will either of them ever be safe again?
Muse A and Muse B had been the best of friends for their whole childhood, up until their junior year, when Muse A confessed their feelings to Muse B. Muse A, however, did not reciprocate, and soon, things became tense and awkward between them, soon pulling their friendship apart. It hurt Muse A so much that they couldn't stand to even see Muse B anymore, so, in their senior year, they joined the foreign exchange program and finished high school off in (foreign country)
Halfway through the summer after they graduated, Muse A is elated to see their former friend, but the elation doesn't last. They quickly discover that Muse B is now in a relationship, and they claim to be very happy in it, but life just hadn't been the same since Muse A left. Despite their pain, Muse A agrees to try and fix their friendship. In the process of it, though, they learn that Muse B is, in fact, not happy at all. Their relationship with their boyfriend/girlfriend is a toxic one, and every night, they escape, drunk and upset, into the arms of Muse A.
In one of their drunken spells, laying on the couch in Muse A's arms, Muse B confesses their feelings for Muse A, then falls asleep. The next morning, when Muse B's hangover has calmed down, Muse A tells them about the night before. Embarrassed, Muse B confirms their feelings, but gets a surprising response from Muse A: They agree to try and help them out of the relationship, but there is a catch... (I'll let the one that is playing Muse A decide what it is) Will Muse B agree, and will they be successful in freeing them from the toxic relationship, or will things go down in flames... Again?
Muse A may appear as a normal human, and they even consider themselves human-- just, with an odd, extra ability. When Muse A kisses anyone on the lips, the recipient of the kiss witnesses their worst fear before their eyes as if it's real. The effect afterwards is hallucinations of all of their fears, and it can last to up to an excruciating half hour. You see, Muse A is actually a very kindhearted, caring, sweet individual who despises this ability, and fears that they can never find love. So, when Muse A is forced to attend the biggest party of the summer, they dread the possibilities. And rightly so, because shortly after they arrive, they somehow end up in a group playing 7 minutes in heaven.
Right as Muse A is about to get up and leave, though, they see that the bottle is pointing at them. Before they can fully comprehend what is going on through their panic and shock, they find themselves tucked away in a closet with Muse B. Muse A tries to quickly think up a way to escape, but, alas, they were too late. Muse A braces for the worst, but, instead, receives an amazed expression from Muse B. Muse B quickly and frantically explains that they had experienced this amazing wonderland that they could only describe as Muse A's inner self.
Elated that they finally found someone immune to their fear-inducing kisses, Muse A takes advantage of their 7 minutes in heaven with Muse B. Soon, they begin to experience the wonderland that Muse B had seen, but Muse A knew this wonderland was Muse B's inner self.
But that was only seven minutes. What about the hundreds of thousands of other minutes of life? Well, afterwards, they begin seeing the world a little differently. A little more color and pizzazz. It was actually quite beautiful.
The two muses end up, unsurprisingly, falling for each other. The more kisses they share, though, the more they see... And that includes their ability to see how truly dark and terrifying the dark things in the world actually are. Now, what will happen, when they know the true nature of everything?
Muse A absolutely loved the snow, especially in the scenery of the park. They'd go there every day, just to relax, and maybe even play in the snow for a bit. One day, the spot Muse B on a bench, shivering. They were not dressed for Tue weather. Muse A soon finds out that Muse B had been traveling, when their car broke down. They just didn't have anywhere to wait while it was getting fixed. Muse A then offers to let Muse B stay at their place for a bit. As soon as they start walking, it begins heavily snowing, and that quickly turns into a blizzard. As the snow piles up, their hopes become buried underneath it. How long will it last? Maybe even until spring...
Muse A, like most children, created an imaginary friend (Muse B) to keep the monsters and loneliness away. A playmate who would never leave and was always there when they needed them. But, unlike most children, Muse A’s imaginary friend stuck around for years, never fading and never failing. But, unbeknownst to Muse A, because of all the love and devotion they put into their imaginary friend, Muse B became real. As suddenly as that had happened, though, Muse B disappeared, leaving Muse A with nothing but memories and unsaid feelings. Muse A walked through life, devastated that their best friend had left- That is, until Muse B walks into class during the last month of school a few years later. Many of Muse B’s memories of Muse A have disappeared, and Muse B claimed that they had gotten in a car accident and suffered from amnesia... At the same time that they had disappeared from Muse A's life. All they knew was that Muse A had been the most important person of their childhood. Muse A, however, was reminded of their feelings for Muse B, but with so many people fawning over the new kid, as well as a lack of memories on Muse B’s part, things may be more difficult for them than they once thought…
Muse A is the epitome of unlucky. Murray's law is their law. If something can go wrong, it will. They've learned to live with it, but that doesn't mean they're content with it. And then, there's Muse B, the epitome of lucky. Everything goes perfectly for them-- a little too perfectly. Nothing goes wrong for them, therefore they never have a real adventure. Their life is rather dull.
Now that fate has played its little game with the two muses individually, it decides to bring them together to see what luck will do with both of them. Muse A is taking a simple walk in the park after an unusually long day, and Muse B is riding their bike on the same path. Right at the very second they cross paths, it's like their luck was somehow mixed. Muse B hits a pothole in the path in just the wrong way, causing Muse B to fly off their bike, only to be caught by Muse A. Unsurprisingly, though, Muse B doesn't have a scratch on them, while Muse A has new bruises and, of course, an injured ankle. Muse B insists on helping Muse A, but they quickly notice that some weird things start to happen. Quickly, they realize that being in each other's company might just be balancing out their extremes in fortune...
Thank you!!
