Olivia ran a hairbrush through her long, blonde, hair. She winced as the brush pulled through the knots in her thick hair. The brush made a quiet clack as she placed it back onto the counter. No plans had been made for the day, so she decided to keep her makeup light and natural. Pulling on a pair of leggings and an old college sweater, Olivia walked into the kitchen, pulling open the fridge to grab eggs, bread, and milk. Her stomach rumbled as she cracked the eggs into a pan and put the bread into the toaster.
It didn't take long for the eggs and toast to finish, and she placed them onto two plates and poured two glasses of milk, setting the plates on the breakfast bar. She smiled, the kitchen smelled wonderful as she finished making breakfast. She called for her husband, indicated their breakfast was ready. She grabbed an apple out of a bowl on the kitchen table and sat down, placing forks and knives beside each plate.
