The story begins in BlueBay, a very large city. Over fifty-one people have been chosen for a secret event that will determine the fate of the universe...
Three teams of seventeen humans split divided by colours,
Red
Blue

Each human chosen is given a band which represents their team. This band is also the key to survival in this battle royale.... each team must battle it out for alien reasons. How this came to be?
Most likely very similar for each of the 51 chosen.
a person approached you, male or female either way this person was your type. Even if they weren't they still somehow seduced you. Be it from physical appearance, charming words or some promise of power or reward....

"you are one of many chosen for the trifecta battle royale, Earth has been selected as the battlefield to determine which faction shall rule the universe! The reason? Humans have been determined to be the most creative creatures within the sentient universe, at random you have been given a device to unleash your creative forces and give it more of a impact. You are advised to seek out others with your colour but your goal as of now is to battle other humans in this city for the sake of your randomly assigned faction. Your life shouldn't change to much no matter who wins but if it is your team who succeeds then you and your entire bloodline shall be content forever. That band designates you as chosen and shall amplify your creativity to allow battle between other chosen humans. Each band shall remain blank for a period of seven days as you practice with new technology. However each band will turn a colour when the event starts.... you will then be a competitor and target to others. I wish you luck"
You then had a accessory attached that could not be taken off, however this band was incredible as you soon found out. Able to become any physical thing you could imagine... fork, spoon, knife, gun, instruments, vehicles!
Though most of the fifty one chosen found instruments and music to be the most powerful impact the band can create.
A guitar formed from the band can play acoustic or electric at will and give off shockwaves!
Drums formed from the band can summon monstrous avatars!
Bass can literally blow whatever is infront of it away!
Lyrics spoken into the microphone have power!
While these devices are able to make weapons, the band's are actually devices created to weaponize music.
And you are apart of a battle royale/band battle/alien tv show for reasons and hopefully money and power.

A modern fantasy, as a player your character is one of 51 who was given a alien device to fight others.
While able to make "almost" anything one can imagine. The real power is unlocked from making a instrument or microphone to amplify music into force. Think Scott pilgrim or adventure time/regular show.
Put simple the band's are like green lantern rings, but more powerful when doing anything musical.
A red band user could imagine a mini-gun to shoot thousands of bullets at a blue band user
But if blue band made a bass and played a solo that would be a perfect counter blowing back the bullets and pushing the red guy away like Scott pilgrim vs a vegan.
I imagine each player to have two characters. Cause only one colour is winning and bands go better then solo acts. For example each player would have the choice of having a character in the red team but also free to make one for another colour team.
