Trapped: A Disney Roleplay
"Say goodbye to your happily ever afters!" -Maleficent

Once upon a time two of the most evil witches in the history of fairy tails teamed up to take away everyone's happy endings. Well their curse sent all Disney characters from the homes and places that they dearly loved and sent them to a place with out magic and their memories of their lives in the Disney universe. What they were given were fake memories, those of family and friends. At some point in their fabricated memories an old librarian ,The Fairy Godmother, who somehow escaped the curse with her memories and magic gave each one of them a small book that held their entire story in it. Most of them disregarded the books not believing that it had anything to do with them as the Librarian said.
There were a few of the characters that were naive enough to believe in the books and as they felt themselves believe the words whole heartedly. Their Memories returned but they still had the memories that the evil queen and maleficent implanted in their minds and were confused and conflicted, Not knowing which set of memories were real.

Our Story begins as our characters enter the university, either for the first time or later years. So let the adventure begin!

The day was starting out seemingly well, considering that the forecast had called for rain this morning. I really hope that today will be a good day. Ava thought to herself as she sat on the steps of Wishmakers University of Waltington, which is also the name of the town that Ava had grown up in. She knew the weather was unpredictable which is why she wore her pink polka dotted rain coat and her stripped pink umbrella sat at her side. Seemingly at the exact moment that she thought about the rain it began to pour and she sighed opening the umbrella and held it above her head.

Her sketch book sat on her lap as she used her right hand to draw, the drawing seemed to be of an apple that was dripping some orange substance. She didn't know why she drew it but it was just an idea that came to her mind. She closed her eyes and snapped the book closed as she moved to get up and walk inside the main building for freshman orientation. Today was the beginning of a new year and she honestly hoped it would be different, she hoped that the people who bullied her would leave her alone. She hoped to see her best friend Victoria soon, it would make the whole situation better and calm the anxiety she now felt.

Her left hand gripped the umbrella above her head and her left held the strap of her backpack. If you knew her well, you could tell that she was nervous, anxious and excited just by the subtle way the umbrella shook in the air or by how white her knuckles were. Once she was inside the building she closed her umbrella and shook it out at the door. The rain coat followed soon after and then she shook it to get the excess water off of the coat. Underneath her rain coat was a grey tank top, jeans and sandals. She sighed the sandals were wet but she had brought a pair of canvas shoes to change into.

I.... I hope nothing bad happens today.
Sophie

RP Post

An young Caucasian speckled girl was near the entrance to Wishmakers Academy. She just had to use her bookbag to make sure she didn't wet her hair as much as she normally would have. It definitely wasn't nice, but it was better than being completely wet. She wore a plad shirt with jeans, but otherwise nothing too noticeable. It seemed she was perfectly normal in just about every aspect. She softly sighed to herself, making sure the contents of the backpack weren't affected by what she recently just did. "I.... I hope the others come in okay...." . She muttered this to herself as she went about her own business.

She pulled out a necklace that was on her neck. It's purple jewel and crevice was so obvious it wasn't normal... It couldn't even be humorous. She then went to see that 'weird book' she was given by the Librarian while sitting down in the corner, and sure enough.... "T... There the exact same necklace" . She muttered to herself, looking at the young princess on the cover of the book. She wasn't sure the resemblance, but now knew without a shadow of a doubt that somehow.... someway.... She must have some sort of relation to this person. However, she wasn't sure she would ever tell anyone. They would believe she is crazy....

Victoria Richardson
Victoria stepped out of the library and was greeted by the pouring rain. She smiled as she pulled out her black umbrella and opened it up, grateful that she had brought it along just in case. Even though the weather was ugly Victoria was in awe at the site of Waltington University. New school, new experiences, and new friends! Victoria could hardly contain her excitement. Although a small seed of questioning had been planted by the librarian who gave her a book, completely free. The book cover showed two dogs and was titled Lady and the Tramp. It looked like a cute love story and she was tempted to read it now. However she'd have to read it another time, she had to meet Ava for orientation.

She had been exploring campus to try and get herself better acquainted with what would be her new home for the next four years. Eventually Victoria would know campus like the back of her hand. For now she had her handy student map to help her out. With her map in hand and head held high Victoria ventured from the library and into the rain. Her black flats did little to protect her feet from the puddles as she searched for the building and the wind sent a shiver through her body. Victoria was starting to regret her choice of outfit: dark blue dress blouse with black dress pants. Not only was her outfit less than ideal for this weather, she wondered if maybe she had overdressed. She debated about going back to the room to change into something more casual and warmer. No, not only did she not have enough time first impressions were important.

Eventually Victoria arrived at the building where orientation was going to be held. She closed her umbrella and shook it off before entering the building. The nerves were starting to hit her. Hopefully she'd be able to find Ava and sit next to her. Ava was probably feeling very anxious. Thankfully it didn't take Victoria to find her friend thanks to the pink hair. "Hi Ava!" Victoria greeted cheerfully as she walked over to her. "How are you feeling?" she asked gently and stood next to her, wanting to be supportive of her friend.

The rain cascaded down around Kevin, soaking him to the bone but he hardly noticed. His mind was gripped by fear and focused on only one thing: escape.

He was running through a forest, guided only by the light of the stars in the night sky. The sound of his heart pounding in his chest filled his ears but it was muffled briefly by a sudden and terrifying shriek from behind.

Kevin glanced over his shoulder, catching a glimpse of flame coloured wings and scaly claws. Kevin didn't know what the creature was but he knew he wouldn't stand a chance against it. His only chance was to get away.

He heard it shriek again, this time the sound was closer. Kevin dared not look back again lest he trip on a rock, but he knew the creature was gaining on him. He could hear it's footsteps as it began to draw closer and closer. Kevin's heart sunk in his chest but just as he was about to give up completely he could see a clearing up ahead.

Somehow, Kevin knew if he could just reach it, he would be safe.

With this renewed hope, Kevin discovered a newfound energy and he begun to gain distance from his pursuer. As he drew closer to the clearing, the creature shrieked once more as if voicing it's disapproval.

Kevin was now mere seconds away from escape when the creature footsteps grew suddenly silent. It let out a long shriek; the creature had admitted defeat, Kevin thought to himself. Victory was his.

Suddenly though from the sky came the creature. It landed right in front of the clearing blocking Kevin's path. He looked up at it, and was meant with disbelief.

This giant creature was nothing but a bird. Kevin looked around in confusion. The trees were not trees but in fact blades of grass. Rocky outcrops were mere pebbles.

It begun to set in for Kevin; the bird wasn't giant.

He was tiny.

And upon that realisation, the bird lunged for him.

***

Kevin sat bolt upright in a cold sweat. He looked around anxiously; he was lying in bed back in his room. He swore under his breath and rubbed his right eye instinctively.

That nightmare again, he thought to himself. Ever since that old bag gave me that stupid book.

Kevin thoughts were interrupted by a tapping at the window. He briefly recoiled at the sound, believing it to be a bird before realising it was just the rain.

Kevin growled and balled his hands into fists.

He sat there for a few moments before finally climbing out of bed and storming toward the bathroom for a shower.

Alexander Whittaker (Peter Pan}
Alex stared out the window of the University Library, counting the drops of rain as the fell from the sky. That was how bored he was as he waited for his friend to finish her work. Whatever was he thinking when he decided to wait for Kristine in her workplace of all places? It was terribly dull. He had no idea how his best friend could stand being in a library, surrounded by books all day.

Not even allowed to make a peep.

“Done yet?” Alex drawled, his gaze following a random brunette that seemed to be leaving the drab establishment. Richardson’s adopted daughter if he remembered correctly. He couldn’t remember her name. Was she a university student now? He blinked when a book was dropped in front of him.

“Constantly pestering me won’t make me work any faster, you know.”

“What’s this?” Alex picked up the book.

“Boss asked me to give it to you. I think even she is aware of how bored you are.”

Alex flipped through the pages without actually reading. “Yes, but a fairy tale? Does she think I’m two?”

“I wouldn’t be surprised.”

Yep, he missed this. The blatant honest was refreshing, especially after having spent an entire summer surrounded kiss-up vultures. His father wanted him to be more involved their company—so he’d been sent to visit their branch in Italy. Might’ve been a fun trip if he didn’t have to deal with the old man’s business associates for most of the day.

Good food couldn’t compensate for poor company.

“How much longer?”

“Another hour at least." Kristine shook her head. "I need to help organize the nonfiction section before I leave. It's a right mess because people don't know how to put things back where they belong. ”

Alex sighed resignedly before opening the book to the first page. “Ah well, my classes for this year don’t start until the afternoon anyway…” Not that going to class sounded any fun either. It seemed that the only adventures he would find nowadays lay in books. Gawd, he missed being a kid. His childhood wasn’t exactly the epitome of fun, but it was a little less stifling at least. Loosening the tie around his neck, Alex’s eyes drifted across the printed words.

Perhaps he should’ve gone to find Arianna upon his return to Waltington, after all. She was a bit more fun to hang out with. Then again, the younger girl was probably at the new students orientation right about now.

"I'll try to finish as quickly as I can."

"Uh-huh~Sure you will."

When it came to books, Kristine was meticulous. She also tended to get easily distracted should a new book catch her interest. Alex knew that better than anyone. Trips to the library with his best friend always seemed to last longer than they should've.

Ava had moved to stand next to the door leading into the auditorium, she figured Victoria would be there soon so she set down and pulled on her black canvas shoes. She'd brought an extra pair for Victoria too. Looking up as her name was called and a grin spread across her face and she waved at her best friend. "Hi Victoria! Well Nervous and a little anxious. You know m-me." She said as she smiled at her friend and pulled out the red pair of canvas shoes from her bag. "I thought you might need these." She said smiling at her.
She and Victoria, had shared clothes and shoes for a long time. It all started in like seventh grade when Ava stayed at her house and had forgotten clothes for the next day and they had gotten up early to go to the mall. Sometimes it was just second nature for Ava to pack two pairs of extra shoes just in case in rained.
"Should we go find somewhere to sit Victoria?" She asked her in a really soft voice. She knew that they should but she wanted to wait for her friend to be ready. It was great to be with her friend again.

Michael felt more like an alien in his own house nowadays - having spent most of his time at the dorms. It was so much so that he hadn't even bothered unpacking the luggage for the summer vacation, he was always ready to leave. perhaps the mere thought of having people over like Ava and Victoria were the only things that really pushes him to go back to his empty house. At least the dorms had employees - this place was devoid of life when he leaves. There were only haunting memories of his parents here, and he'd rather not defile what was left of them. And so, he was quick to lock everything up and make sure everything was turned off before leaving for his dorms - bringing along only his bag, a jacket and a small umbrella. The forecast said that it would rain.

Not too soon after he left, small droplets began peppering his body and he was quick to take out his umbrella and began jogging out to avoid getting any wetter than he already is. It would be catastrophic for him to get sick, after all. On the first few days of school too. His previous roommate had graduated the year before so a new person was moving into his dorm and no one has alerted him yet on who it is. Ah whatever. He'll deal with that when it comes. He soon arrived at dorms where it was home sweet home. Hopefully, his roommate wouldn't be too bad. He had gotten use to this peace and quiet his roommate had given him before, he just hoped this last year wouldn't be too much of a change.

Michael had also agreed to meet up with Daiyu while they still had time. Just some light talking before they started university. It was getting harder and harder to meet up nowadays after all. As he sat at one of the chairs at the common room, his thoughts started to drift to the others. A lot of his younger friends were starting university and that meant they were at the Freshman Orientation. Arianna, Victoria and Ava were all there and he hoped they made it in time. Should he have swung by their houses to check? He was especially worried about Arianna but she wasn't the type to skip things like that... surely? Victoria and Ava would have probably met each other by now. The two always did everything together, stuck by the hip those two were. Still, what if one of them didn't wake up on time? No, no they weren't kids anymore, he reminded himself. He didn't need to baby them anymore. As he stewed in his thoughts, he started to stare at the common room. Or more like glaring at it as if it had wronged him in some form or another.

It was rather early in the morning but William had already departed to the dorms and had already unpacked before leaving again. His Aunt had insisted that he go early so that he wouldn't have to get bothered by any sort of traffic. William had agreed easily. He didn't mind getting there earlier than anyone else. It was quiet and perfect for him to sit down a read the same book that had been given to him by the librarian some time ago. He had already read it a couple of times already, but he still didn't understand what it meant for this to be his story. So, he's decided to simply talk to the flowerbed close to the dormitories about it.

"It is very odd, yes. But... it does not make sense for the librarian to lie like this." He started as he sat down on the ground, cross-legged as he flipped through the pages of his supposed story. "In this book, I am apparently a... mandrill I believe. Not a baboon. I even say that here." He said with a light laugh as he pointed at the specific portion of the page where 'Rafiki' apparently says this. "My name is Rafiki and I am an advisor to the king of the Pride Lands. Quite odd what happened in this story - a lot of family disagreements. It's like Hamlet!" He exclaimed as he snapped his fingers. "But with animals!"

He was about to continue speaking but he began to smell the telltale signs of rain and he looked up to see the darkened clouds. He hummed to himself and opened the umbrella as he retreated back to the dormitories. There was still sometime - maybe he could work on something else in the meantime. It would be best to leave the brainstorming to when he was with Victoria, she was always oh so interested in it! But there was the Freshman Orientation today. Must be give way to a lively meet up with others. He wondered where the others are. Kota and her brother were starting too! How very exciting!

  • Agnes threw her suitcase to the side and flopped down onto her dorm bed. It would be weird not being able to take her daily early-morning rides on Angus, her Shire, but at least she would be able to be part of an archery team. She lay on her bed for a while, desperately wanting to go to sleep, but she knew she should probably go meet some of the other students if she wanted to make a good first impression. She reluctantly pushed herself off of her bed and walked out of her room. She saw a few other kids talking, but she had no intention of interrupting their conversations, instead heading outside to greet some of the other people walking inside to get to their dorms, hopefully striking up conversation with someone who wasn't in the middle of talking to someone else. If all else failed, she would just take a quick stroll around the campus before heading back inside for the Freshman Orientation.

Victoria's eyes lit up as Ava pulled out a spare pair of shoes for her. "You're a life saver! What would I do without you?" Victoria praised as she quickly switched shoes, putting the wet pair in a separate section of her backpack not wanting to ruin the book she just received. She smiled gently as Victoria spoke in her very soft voice. It was clear her friend was nervous about orientation. Even Victoria would admit she was a little nervous too. Everyone talked about how fun but also how challenging college would be. Now they were going to sit in a large, crowded, loud room full of strangers. It was all a little overwhelming but Victoria wasn't going to let this deter her from staying positive and being supportive of Ava.

"This will be easy peasy Ava. We'll go sit, listen to the dean give his welcome speech, and then we're free to do whatever we want." Victoria assured as she adjusted her bag. "Maybe we can ask Micheal to lunch or dinner. I'm sure he has plenty of advice he wants share with us." she suggested. She was grateful that they had an older friend who would be able to help them with the transition from high school to college. Especially a friend who was so caring and a little protective of them. Victoria knew living in the gated community left her a little naive and sheltered but with her friends she felt confident that she would have a great first year.

She opened the auditorium doors which wasn't nearly as full or loud as she predicted. They must've been early so they still had to wait for the other freshmen to arrive. Victoria picked the first row of bleachers for them to sit, that way they could leave quickly before the stampede of people made their way down the stairs. "How does this spot look?" Victoria asked.

"There ! Much better !" , Avery jump from the now colorful wall and quickly run into the hallway before anyone could catch her. She just finished planting her device in the school yard and soon enough the campus security guards will come to apprehend her and like hell will she fall to their trap again. Once she feels safe enough she pick a remote from her pocket and turning it on.

"This boring place needs some redecorating", She push a button on her remote and just as that a firecrackers sound is heard from the school yard. Some colourful flashes blow up to the sky, and despite the fact that it's not night yet the firecrackers still flashing striking colors in the sky, and that not just because of the light, paint balloon attached to the firecracker blows up on the sky spreading multiple colors to every corner of the campus building. Some even landed on people faces."Oh Yeah ! That's a next-gen definition of vandalism."

However she can't celebrate for long since soon after, she could notice someone in a security guard uniform running on her directions."Oh Crap ! But- how !?", she start turning around only to notice paint spilling from her bag. "Well that explains it.". Without wasting any time Avery throw her spilling paint to the ground and start sprinting on the opposite direction. Passing through the stairs and straight into the library door. Fortunately for her the security guard on this shift we're just a fat slob who is no match for Avery's athletic body. She manages to enter the library before the security get off from the stairs and quickly slides under one of the table. The Security guard enters looking tired from running and start searching for her presence in which she response by making a silence gesture to the person sitting on the chair in front of her.

Kevin had managed thankfully to shower, get his things together and grab a bite to eat without running into Richie on his way out.

The two of them shared an apartment together in the city. It was an extremely nice place, paid for by their father, but Kevin was almost grateful to be moving back into the university dorms. It didn't matter who his roommate would be at the dorms, they could be nothing but an improvement over Richie.

Generally during the semester, he would divide his time between the dorms and the apartment, so being solely shacked back up with Richie over the long break was always an agonising experience. Kevin knew he promised his mother he would look after him but the best way for him to do that now would be to get away from Richie for a bit; before he did something he might regret.

Kevin could still hear Richie snoring loudly in the next room as he left out the door. Avoiding the rain the best he could, Kevin hurriedly packed his things into the boot of his car before heading off to the university.

After what should of been a relatively short commute, that wasn't helped at all by the morning traffic, Kevin arrived at the university entrance and, after parking up, started making his towards the dorms.

Michael had been thinking for quite a while and could barely even register the fact that there was something going on outside - nor did he notice any of the others who were scurrying past him. He only managed to pull himself back from his thoughts after ten minutes of intense glaring at the corner. He had let out a heavy sigh as he leaned back on his chair and hugged his backpack to his chest. He propped his head on top of it as he closed his eyes, better to sleep than to worry about his friends getting lost. Daiyu was taking a bit more time than he had expected, but that may be because of the traffic the rain was causing. He was lucky to be close enough that he didn't have to worry too much about traffic.

He woke up only a minute later, squinting as he raised his head from his bag. He saw that Daiyu has entered the common room. With a deep breath, he stretched his limbs before standing up and then making his way to her. She hadn't notice him yet. Great. Once Michael was behind her, he tapped her shoulder. "Good morning Daiyu." He greeted with a small smile on his face as he put his hands inside his pockets. "Traffic got ya?" As much as he wanted to converse with Daiyu in her native language, he wasn't very fluent in it since he grew up around these parts. A shame indeed.

William had taken refuge at a seat and had grabbed the book and began flipping through the pages again. He could be convinced that it was true - since he was remembering things that the book had given to him. They came to him in dreams and it explained many things as to why he understood so much despite being so young. Then again, did he not live with his auntie for this long? When he questioned her, he was met with a weird look and a laugh and she just said it was a 'nice joke'. William had been with her ever since he was a baby and he had helped her ever since he could understand how it worked. So why was there conflicting memories?

How very mysterious.

William was surprised to see someone slide under the table and stay there. She motioned for him to stay quiet. His eyes raised towards the security guard who seemed tired - wet surely from the rain outside. Their eyes met but the security guard simply walked away. William was known for his oddities so he was pretty sure that he was being avoided by the guard. Well, that was good news from the woman under the table. After the security guard left the area, William looked down at the woman again.

"He's gone." William told her as he placed the book he was reading down on his lap. "You can come out now." He continued as he leaned on the armrest, seemingly amused.

"God, you scared me! Yeah, traffic was bad." She reached out and gave Michael a light punch to his shoulder.
"So, senior boy, how does it feel for it to be your last year here?" she said in a playful-taunting tone. She switched to speaking in her native language to annoy him. "You ready to become a real man?"

Iluliana DitaA young timid man stepped pst the heavy metal doors of the studio and standing into the caged lounge area. A large L couch and dirty carpeted area and a very advanced sound system. The room was barely lit, most of the light shining from the lit studio separated by the gated area. "Can I help you?" A dark shadowy figure said from behind him. Getting up the shadowy figure towered over him as they stepped into the light revealing a heavily tattooed fit man. His eyes almost shined in the darkness but dimmed as he tilted his head and looked down at the scared boy.

"Ah! Umm y-yeah. I asked Iuliana for some help?" He said as he nervously as he glanced over at the loud sparks and light from the workers down below. He clearly didn't know what was going on and felt uncomfortable.

Pausing for a moment the man tilted his head and nodded. "Ah ok" walking over to the rail that separated the lounge area from the studio the man called out loudly. "Hey Ill."

The workers didn't slow as they worked against the sparks of the blow torch. "Ill!" The man called out again a bit louder.

"Huh? You say something Jet?" One of the hooded members said as the turned off the blowtorch. Stepping back she lifted up her hood to look over at the duo.

"Yeah You've got someone for you." Jet said, giving her a sign that this guest was ok.

Pulling her hood off revealing her turquoise locks she gave a bright smile. "Oh thanks! Can you get em something to drink?" Walking back from her work, she looked it up and down, before heading towards the others.

Jet nodded and turned over to the communal refrigerator calling out. "What's your poison?"

"Uh... I'm underage." The nervous boy said as he looked over at the man by the refrigerator.

Raising a confused brow Jet explained. "I was talking about your favorite drink." Jet said as he opened the fridge showing various soda cans, and nonalcoholic beverages.

"Oh then Coke is fine." The boy said a bit more calmly. Taking the coke as it was handed to him only to turn around and smile at the nervous boy.

"Hey! You're Jeremy right? Nice to see you again!" She said as she came by and patted his shoulder. "I'm sure you got my text that your commission is done." Walking over to a rack she picked up a small hummingbird keychain and walked over to him. Placing it into his hand she gave him a warm smile. "I got you a letter of recommendation from your professor. You can pick it up from his office hours. And I assure you it will be glowing." Pulling back she added, "let me know if you don't like it, I'd be happy to have it revised."

"Really?! Thank you so much!" He never expected his professor who hated him so much would ever give him a glowing recommendation. However, hearing that this girl could get him one he was desperate and was amazed that he did it.

"No problem. Now my payment." She watched as the boy rumbled around through is backpack and pulled out a envelope. Taking it she looked inside and smiled. "Excellent. Glad to do business with you. You're welcome to hang out. Though I'm gonna go back to working." Looking over to Jet she pointed to him, "and you are you ever going to get back to work? You've been on break for three hours." Jet looked at her and shrugged. Rolling her eyes she went back into the cage, "have a good one, kid."

Drip Drip Drop...

It had been raining throughout the night. The drips of water tapping lightly against the window above her head. Cecilia would have had a nice moment of sleep if only she could have managed to get some decent shut eye. The night had been spent curled up under her nice and comfortable lilac duvet. Nothing but a small curled up ball of nerves and anxiety. She was going to be starting University the following day and just that thought was simply haunting her.

This time round however, she did know at least one person she knew closely that attended there but that did not lessen her nerves any less.

The morning came in what seemed like ages and the sleepless young Cece, started to get ready. Wearing the coziest outfit she could find first hand the female kept looking at her closet. Ever since she shed so many weight off, all her articles of clothing were so baggy on her. She needed a new shopping spree scenario but the thing was... she despised it. Nonetheless, it needed to happen.

That being said, upon deciding the attire for the day, the female brushed her tame long black hair and applied very little to minimum eyeliner and she was sorted. She had safely packed her belongings in her luggage and other necessities in the back she had just shouldered. With that, the female went to the doorway of her room and looked back with a soft sigh. The anxious female was going to depart from her safe place and evacuate for a whole term to another not so safe one. Or so she deemed it to be.

"Lihua... come on down dear, you don't want to be late. It's best if you settle slowly before it gets hectic again, no?" the small chirpy voice of her mother was heard from downstairs.

"Coming down Ma!"

Cecilia dragged herself downstairs with her belongings and through the kitchen. A small granola bar that served as her breakfast was waiting for her. Taking it on her way out, her mother was already waiting in her vehicle, engine started. Putting her luggage in the trunk, the female then settled in the front seat and they set off.

In mid-way the female crinkled and tore the wrapper and started nibbling on her granola bar as she unlocked her phone. Scrolling through her contact list, she found her closest friend's number, Naoki's, and sent him a quick text; 'Am on my way. B there soon Nao! Wait for me near the entrance? - Cece xx'

It took only a few minutes as they didn't live very far, however, the closer she got, her nerves were simply growing and growing like wild fire. As her mother dropped her and her belongings off on the wet pavement near the entrance. She did not quite have an umbrella so motioned towards the administration block for some shelter. Taking her phone out, she texted him once more; 'Change in location, meet me in the Administration block because it's raining >-<'

She headed towards the information desk in order to check what room she was assigned to and her key. That was the part of her nerves. Who were her dorm-mates going to be? Will they be okay to get along with? Lots of questions that are yet to be answered. Hopefully soon. This was her first time in such a surrounding. The first time that she was going to sleep outside of the confines of her bedroom. Settling that, she awaited ever so anxiously for her fiery friend to show up for her aid. She had so many things to share... quite bizarre as well.

It was suppose to be that one last time. A promise that wasn't suppose to be broken.

"Ma, please don't give up. I promise. I'll be good. Don't leave me."

He was suppose to turn over a new leaf, to prove to Ma he changed. To hear her heart beat in the monitor was the happiest sound he could ever hear. But, would Ma believe him? Would she trust him? The guy was an idiot, he had it coming. Another bloke who didn’t give a rat’s ass what he did because of “daddy's” money. There wasn’t a choice to make. Impulsively, out of reflex, he did it. It was plain and simple. In what world was it okay to attack an innocent, especially ones under protection at the reservation in Waltington? Did those big guns break all the rules just because they had power over them? What a load of bull. Despite his run-ins with the law many times, Rikes didn't care, not when he believed in his heart, passionately, he needed to protect the animals from people like them. Users. But, what did he know? He was just some boy with a troubled past and an orphan. But, at least he had heart, right? To give a damn.

It was better to live life recklessly and whole-heartedly to regret, at least, that's his moral code. Whether people agreed or not, he did what he wanted because he knew or rather felt something was missing. Whatever it was, it filled that hole. Be it magic, sword fights, fairytales, princesses, and knights - Zachary Tobias Rikes didn't know any better. He believed that there was something more to this little town, but did he venture far enough to take matters into his own hands? No. It could not be done. No, not when eyes were everywhere. But, perhaps that's what this year was going to be about: change. He was ready to take some affirmative action. Rikes just needed that solid foundation, but she was gone for the time being. When will she be back? She'd better not have left him stranded here for all he knew. But, she promised.

A low chuckle escaped his lips at the irony of that thought. Shaking his head, Zachary's shoulders sagged as he leaned over, facing the ground with a hand through his hair. Frustrated was an understatement. He was angry and more than just pissed off. Exactly how was this town being run? God, he was itching to pull something over someone. Just one itch. One movement. One take. After a few more minutes of feeling sorry for himself, Zachary stood up from the bench inside the closed bars. Taking a look at his surrounding, he sighed. Noticing the window a few inches above him, a small grin appeared across his lips. No one ever checks the windows. Getting ready, Zachary stood on the bench, taking out a bobby pin from his pocket before quickly getting to work, picking at the lock of the windows. Within a few minutes, a click was heard and Zachary could only grin, as he made haste to open the locks on the windows and quickly jumped out.

The alarm rang, but he didn't care and ran as quick as he could towards University. As the rain pelt against his skin, Zachary slowed down his pace the further he got away from sheriff's station. The gloominess of the day matched his mood. He didn't have motivation to attend his morning class nor felt the need to go. But, if Ma found out that he skipped class and got himself into a bit of a pickle again, that would be the end. He hated seeing her worried and upset over him. But for at least two and a half years, he had been "sober", away from the reckless life he had lived previously. But, it seemed his past caught up with him and Zachary could only sigh.

He needed a drink. Or rather a punching bag and fast. Although his new roommates were people he never met before, Zachary never paid much mind to the other tenants living with him. As long as he found a place for himself and her, it was all that mattered. However, something about the guy drove him nuts. Perhaps it was because he often saw him with Cade and knowing they were acquainted could only mean trouble. Regardless, as much as he wanted to head back to his bed and shower, Zachary resisted the urge to do so. He'd rather not cause a scene when he just recently moved three days ago into the apartment. Much less, want to feel the judgmental stares and the need to faux companionship. The day couldn't get any worse, could it?

Without hesitating, Zachary took out his phone and sent a text, "When are you coming back? I found us a place. It's boring here. Hurry back soon!"

Carolyn McCarthy only recently returned to the town of Waltington. Like literally only a few hours ago she stepped out of the cab.

That moment she stepped on the pavement near the front welcoming sign, she realised she had been back home. The town was as glum as ever, together with the perfect weather. Rain. It was nothing but a pathetic fallacy. Nonetheless, Carolyn preferred it over anything. For once, she had built her life here. She was not quite fond of being dragged to the land of the British after the death of her mother. She had left so much behind, other family members, her school and not to mention her closest childhood friend that she have not seen in years. The only connection between the pair were occasional letters which took a decent while to reach the respective sender from overseas.

However, from these correspondences, the pair were making plans in order for Carol to move back home to Waltington. Part of the plan involved him to find an apartment, with manageable rent to begin with. They were students with a simple part-time job after all. She hoped that he had managed at least that task by the time that she arrived.

Carolyn did not exactly go back with the blessing of her father. Her hard headed father in fact wanted quite the contrary. He was not quite fond of the Rikes kid you see. A bad influence on her he stated. Patrick McCarthy was that type of man that whatever he says, goes. However, like her father, Carol was also stubborn and she kept her friendship with Zac going. It was most probably one of the many reasons why her father deemed fit for his daughter to build her life in England. Little did Patrick know that his not so little cub was plotting her way back home.

That day had finally came.

Now, the female was roaming the area near the university with her luggage. She just wanted shelter to begin with. The rain had gotten her drenched already, her usually vivid orange hair was nothing but a dull damp mess. Her freckled smiling face contrasting it as always. As she was motioning along the pavement the female noticed a familiar face running towards the University amongst the other students. That familiar face just came from a familiar street where the sheriff station was. Watching that person take out his phone to text, Carol beamed as she felt her phone vibrate in her back pocket.

"When are you coming back? I found us a place. It's boring here. Hurry back soon!"

With a chuckle, the female replied back to his text, "Eugh, I can't believe this. I am having some complications. The boredom is getting to me already. Running from the authorities again?" She wanted to confuse him a bit but also hinting at him, knowing very well that the curious nature in him, the first instinct would be to look around him or so she hoped.

If he did, he would see his drenched friend with her belongings at the side of the pavement nearby the direction of the gate with a goofy grin on her face.

Desy! Desy!
Loud footsteps could be heard running across the corridor of their apartment. An apartment she shared with her two brothers. The steps came running all the way towards the kitchen where she was and they crash landed against her legs. Looking down, the female gave her collision accident a soft, sleepy smile. It was none other than her ten year old brother, Kai.

"Hey there sport, how come you are up so early, hmmm?" she ruffled his hair as she crouched down to his level. "You don't have any school today and Gil won't be taking you to your karate lesson in around three more hours."

The young boy pouted, "I woke up early so I can hug you goodbye."

Des' heart melted as she saw the pouting sad face of her younger brother. Today was the start of University which meant Desirée had to move on campus. Their apartment was not exactly within University proximity so it was not practical. It ached her heart knowing she had to leave behind till semester ended. "Hey hey don't be like that! You know I will visit you when I can and look at it this way. This will be my last year before I get my certificates. Then I won't have to go away anymore!" The female poked her tongue out at him and let out a soft chuckle, pinching his cheek.

Kai's pout turned into a cheeky smile as he jumped her into his hug attack before she stood up, lifting him with her. "Okay, now you need to go back to bed and don't wake your brother up okay? He came home late from work yesterday. And remember, obey him otherwise we will be having a completely different conversation hmm?"

Placing a soft kiss against his cheek she lowered him and with one last hug to her leg, the young boy hopped away back to his room.

With a soft sigh and a shake of her head, she picked up her thermos and headed out with her luggage and her uber was awaiting her to take her to University where she was to start her final year in childcare. That being said, the drive consisted of her scrolling through her feed and coffee sipping. That was until the proximity of the university started to become visible. She could not wait to get this over with... she hated leaving that little boy behind.

Upon her arrival, the driver did not even help her with her luggage, he simply let her heavy lift and just drove off. Some service. Not that she needed help but some common courtesy to help a lady was not going to hurt him. Opening her umbrella, she shielded herself and her precious luggage and walked towards the entrance. Gods how she hated rainy weather... rain meant mud and mud meant getting everything dirty. Eventually, she reached her new dorm which seemed rather empty for now. It was nice because she could organise her belongings on her side, in peace.

It only took an hour or so. That was partially why she loved to arrive early, so she could settle. Having some time on her hands, she pondered on what to do with her time. The female felt exhausted after pulling off an all-nighter, organising her brother's schedules for Gilbert to follow, her own belongings and that everything was in place before she left. Yes. She was a neat freak like that. Desirée decided to have a detour to the cafeteria. She wanted to see if anyone she knew was there or perhaps new faces. Nonetheless, she found her way there and got herself a bottle of water from the vending machine, settling in a chair and took out her phone, continuing to scroll on her feed for something interesting. At that point, she felt like she was going to fall asleep and bang her head against the table with the level of exhaustion.

Most people woke up with an alarm. Patrick woke up to the sound of his twin sister’s ringtone.

He groaned. Maybe it had been a bad decision to set Pansy’s ringtone as “Friday” by Rebecca Black. He hated that song and had thought setting that would let him know to ignore the call. Knowing his sister, however, he couldn’t possibly ignore a call this early in the morning. He’d just get harassed later.

“Why the hell are you calling this early, Pan?” he muttered into the phone.

The smugness in her voice was clear, even this far away. “Because I knew you would oversleep on the first day.”

“I was not going to oversleep.”

“That’s a load of crap, and you know it, dumbass.”

Annoyed. He was very annoyed. “Shut up, Pan. Go harass someone else.”

“Funny you say that. I was going to go help someone through a wicked party. I’m apparently the only one who knows where all the good alcohol is.”

“Of course you are.”

Before she could brag anymore, he hung up, taking that as his cue to get out of bed. He sat up, stretching his arms over his head and leaning back. Ah, he loved stretching after a nice sleep. Pansy had always teased him, saying he was just like their cat Casanova, but she’d always had the tendency to stretch a lot after sleeping, so she'd stop after he pointed it out.

Standing up, Patrick ran his hand through his hair, sure it was messed up from sleeping. He didn’t care to fix it, though, so he left it the way it was as he wandered over to the closet to find something to throw on for the day. He'd moved back into the dorm the day before, wanting to get away from his sister as soon as possible, and he'd spent most of the day unpacking. Perusing all the clothes he’d brought from his home back in Chicago, he tried to figure out what looked manly enough to give the freshman the impression that he was the coolest cat around here, the manliest man who ever… uh… manned? Yes, that was it.

Once he found something satisfactory, he glanced over at the book on his desk. That batty old librarian had handed it to him a little while ago, and he was still baffled by it. According to that book, he’d been some orange tomcat who sang catchy songs and had romanced a fluffy white cat named Duchess. Not to mention the three kittens she came with. Patrick snorted just thinking about it. He was way too young to be any sort of father, figure or otherwise. But the book gave him hope that maybe he could be capable of making a girl swoon. He didn’t believe any of the poppycock the book was telling him—no matter what Pansy said, there was no way he was a cat!

Shaking his head, he left his dorm room and made his way downstairs. He was hungry after such a long, restful sleep. Time for breakfast.

The cafeteria on campus (he still found Wishmakers University in Waltingto all kinds of weird and funny) was a short walk from the dorm. Unfortunately, the day decided to rain on his parade, so he ran all the way there. When he got there, shaking himself to get rid of excess water, he helped himself to a bagel and cream cheese, plus some coffee with lots of milk in it.

Huh. Milk. Was he a cat? Pfft, nah.

Sitting on the steps outside, but just under the awning because BLASTED RAIN, Patrick sipped his coffee. Glancing toward the auditorium, he supposed the freshman were in there right now for their orientation. He wondered if the old librarian had gotten to them, too. A lot of people around here had been walking around with those freaky books. What was that old bat up to?

Oh, well. Patrick took a bite of his bagel. It wasn’t his style to wonder about stupid shit like that. It was ruining the morning. Not that the stupid rain hadn’t done that already.

“Tch. Stupid rain,” he growled to himself. He was going to need more coffee.

Ava smiled at her friend and nodded, " I knew that you would need them." As they walked into the auditorium she got that feeling that she used to get in high school. Like all eyes were on her because she was different. "Yeah this is fine. Yeah, Maybe we should text him to see if he wants to have dinner with us?" She said trying to take her mind off of the people in the room. She knew that none of them were looking at her but she couldn't help the way she felt. She looked at Victoria then at her bag and she gently pulled out the book that the old librarian had given her. The cover depicted a group of stuffed animals that seemed to be coming to life.

The whole concept of the story confused her, she had read it upon getting it. She had been a freshman in high school and at a college fair, the librarian for the school was handing out what seemed to be blank books from a glance but as she touched the book it had seemed as though it morphed to what it looked like now. "Hey Tori? Did the librarian give you a book?" She asked softly as she looked at her best friend.

Keaton Landau
(Emperor Kuzco)
I Was Dragged All Over Those Hills and I Did Not Hear Any Singing

Mood: Obviously Perfect, but Unfortunately Frustrated | Scenario: HOW DARE YOU, RAIN?! | Outfit: This | With: N/A | Mentions: N/A | Tags: N/A
As always, Keaton had gotten up early to fully formulate his latest dramatic entrance. The freshmen needed to know from the get go how amazing he was! And he could only do that if he made sure every detail was perfect!

However, today, he found something inhibiting his brilliant mind—rain. Why, today of all days, was rain deciding to hinder him? It was supposed to be a day of wonder! A day of magic! A day of amazement on the part of the incoming freshmen! But no—the weather could not accommodate his needs.

Keaton frowned over at the book thrown haphazardly on his nightstand. The librarian lady had handed it to him yesterday when he’d arrived without any word of explanation. He’d flipped through it without really reading it—reading wasn’t exactly something he did—but it didn’t take long to know that it was all probably true. He was an emperor? Um, DUH?! He already knew that! Why the hell did he need a book to tell him that? The rest of the book was a blur—he hadn’t really paid attention past the word “emperor.” He was pretty sure that the rest of it was a bunch of nonsense, though.

But he had to admit the old lady knew what she was doing when she included llamas in it. He did love his llamas.

Keaton glanced out his dorm room window at the rain. He supposed he should try to get some breakfast—after all, royals had to keep themselves fed and healthy.

Leaving his dorm room, he made his way downstairs, and he cocked his head challengingly at the rain. “You won’t stop me, you fiend!” he declared, taking off at a sprint into the rain.

He stopped under a tree, already more wet than he wanted to be. Crossing his arms, he frowned over at the cafeteria. This was going to be a lot more trouble than he thought.

Francisco Moretti
(Scamp/Tramp)
Open Your Eyes to What a Dog's Life Could Really Be!

Mood: Mischievous | Scenario: Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Spaghetti! | Outfit: This | With: N/A | Mentions: N/A | Tags: N/A
Francisco wanted spaghetti. Sure, he could’ve gone to the freshmen orientation, but that spelled trouble for him. No way was he going to risk recognition by a bunch of girls who would surely know his mop of blond hair—he really should’ve changed his haircut if he’d really wanted to go to college like a normal person.

As he trudged through the rain toward a building that he felt sure housed a kitchen he could raid, he glanced around to make sure the campus security wasn’t around to see what he was doing. Was it against the rules to make yourself food in the kitchen? Probably not, but considering where he was supposed to be, they might not look favorably upon his sneaking around.

Seeing a large man in a uniform, Cisco dove into the nearest bushes. He peeked out of them, watching as the man disappeared around a corner, seemingly chasing someone. Oh, good, someone else was causing trouble. That meant he had less to worry about.

He cautiously picked his way out of the bushes, making sure no one could see him. Then he made his way into the building, hoping to God he would be able to find some spaghetti. It was the only way he was going to make it through this first day of college.

Thankfully, it appeared he’d guessed right. It didn’t take long for him to find the kitchen, and he immediately began rummaging through the cabinets. A grin spread across his face as soon as he revealed a couple packages of pasta. Throwing down his messenger bag, he took them down and began flitting around the kitchen, readying himself and the stove for his soon-to-be breakfast. Ah, how he loved making spaghetti. It was almost more enjoyable than acting.

Actually, it was.
